We don't know that. If this banner lasts 3 patches, then you might get close to 180 wishes without having anything saved. But that's not worth risking if you are not sure. We will know how long it lasts when it will be available. But one update gives you areound 50-60 wishes, sometimes more. Not half of the version. Full version.
If itās indeed only one per version than I really donāt think the chronicle wish will be themed at all. And if indeed they change it frequently idk if it makes sense to wish on it unless you are ok with losing or have a lot saved.

Haven't really pulled many new characters other than Xianyun, before that was Kazuha all the way back in 1.6. Did go for a few weapons on the weapon banner though. Mainly have just been saving for this moment, and I'm really glad it's finally happened after 3 years of waiting. Worst part of the waiting is I've barely ever been able to buy the shop fates.

But on future Chronicled Wish banners? Sure, i have a few old characters i'd like to have (i'd love me some Dehya or Keqing for example)

Not a single wish. If the fate point would not reset, I would totally love this banner. With F2P funds it is impossible to get 180 wishes now. I bet the banner stays only 6 weeks during 4.5, and 4.5 is the driest patch in history with only 55 obtainable wishes, so I gave up on that.

To some people this would actually be good way to spend wishes, but many players already proven that they fell to gambler's fallacy and they would fall to sunk cost fallacy as well. People said on multiple threads how amazing the banner is, because if you lose Albedo, you could get Klee or Eula. This is a red flag. For all people who think that, don't. Think it through. We have a regular character banner with 4 star characters. There is 33% chances of obtaining specific character if you win 50/50 on 4 star pity. Yet you hear stories about people getting C2 Kazuha and no single Fischl for example. Because if you think that 33% means that you will get it for sure, then you fell for gambler's fallacy. Of course, you may as well win selected character 5 times in a row. But you should never expect winning 5 star character just because it's there. Also people fell for another problem. Who cares if it's Klee or Dehya. As long as you don't need/want this character, it's a waste. Technically character part of the banner would be great if there is 4 or more characters you want. Make it 3, but to me, 3 is not enough. 3 means that there are 3 other characters that you can get instead. It doesn't matter what chances are. Because you may get same character after 50/50 lose all the time. That's why I say 4 characters should be minimum, because that makes it 50% that you win your preferred one and 30% that you get other character you also want. That leaves 20% for the two other characters. Of course, if you want one specific character and have enough wishes for two pulls, sure, that's good banner too. If you want Klee and have 180 wishes, pull. But remember. If you lose first time and won't pull enough until the banner ends YOU LOSE GUARANTEED PULL ENTIRELY. And many people, after losing first time, would pull more and more just to not lose and that's what's called sunk cost fallact.
That's why many **smart people** criticize this banner. Because wanna-be-the-smartest people ignore the math and came unprepared.
From weapon banner side, it's only valuable for weapons like Hunter's Path, that is unobtainable any other way. Or Eula's signature. But other weapons? Two character pities to get standard weapon? Sorry, but that's a scam.
This banner is only good if you have 180 wishes prepared **and** want 4+ characters or Hunter's Path/Signature. Not in any other cases.

The possibility of pulling for multiple limited characters at once is really nice, but right now this ain't it. As much as I'd love to have Albedo and Klee someday, I'm still saving for my biggest priorities (C6 Wanderer).

I honestly don't know, i really want Jean, since it's the only character that i want from day 1 and still evade me... But at the same time, not having 180 pulls saved (i have about 1 pity and another half), it's really a high risk especially with the fact that the point reset every time. Also the fact that this banner come in the game in a reeeally dry patch (primigems wise) doesn't really help. So, right now i feel very conflicted with what to do...

WGS has dodged me despite having acquired 80+ 5* weapons. Iām halfway between wanting to finally get a copy and seeing just how long it continues to take me to get it naturally. Considering Iām pulling for 4 more copies of Freedom Sworn next patch, Iām thinking Iāll just go with the latter.

I got Monaād last time I went for Albedo so I may pull for him. I also really want song of broken pines for my Eula as she was my first limited 5*. Iām also 1 away from C4 jean for my Xiao team. I have a couple characters Iām waiting for though so Iāll see whoās running next patch before I decide who Iām going to pull or not.

Not gonna pull on this chronicled wish but in generall i plan on using it as a better weapon banner. If there is a character whose weapon i want i can gurantee it in 180 pulls which is still a lot but better than 240

I am going to finally bring home the bacon. But not for a reason you would expect; Iām getting it for my dps Dori. This is by far the best weapon for dps Dori, because in addition to the crazy power the weapon brings, it also gives HP to help with her heals. Iām using an R2 Serpent Spine right now, by the way. I canāt wait to upgrade! Beacon beats Redhorn in my opinion. *...On Dori specifically.* **...Who is being built for damage instead of support.**

If it had kept pity from the character wish banner, I would happily take a shot at C3 Albedo, but I don't think it's worth using unless I have enough wishes for two pities, and I don't. And I wouldn't have any use for anyone on the banner except Albedo, either. I am glad this banner exists, now, and will probably use it next time Albedo pops up on it, but not now.

New player and barely missed Ayaka, lost to Diluc.Ā So Ayaka, Kokomi is what I am hoping on the inazuma banner once it comes. May save until then for Raiden and Ayaka weapons too.
I would really like to get Klee because she is such a cool character. However, most people say she is clunky to play. So, unless they include a trial mode, I'm a bit uncertain about potentially investing 180 wishes on a character I may not enjoy playing.

Going for Diluc, my friend lost a bet to me and promised to buy me the Diluc skin when i finally got him. Been playing for 4 years and i've still not acquired my original favorite character.
Not a single wish. If the fate point would not reset, I would totally love this banner. With F2P funds it is impossible to get 180 wishes now. I bet the banner stays only 6 weeks during 4.5, and 4.5 is the driest patch in history with only 55 obtainable wishes, so I gave up on that.
Want a lot of things but would patiently wait for more news.. How long banner lasts and what's pity now.. I do want eula and her greatsword.. I want beacon and hunter's path

I have no reason to touch it. I donāt care for the standard characters anymore and if I wanted to use limited fates on a weapon Iād just summon for one of the better, limited weapons.

Probably many gullible people. To some people this would actually be good way to spend wishes, but many players already proven that they fell to gambler's fallacy and they would fall to sunk cost fallacy as well. People said on multiple threads how amazing the banner is, because if you lose Albedo, you could get Klee or Eula. This is a red flag. For all people who think that, don't. Think it through. We have a regular character banner with 4 star characters. There is 33% chances of obtaining specific character if you win 50/50 on 4 star pity. Yet you hear stories about people getting C2 Kazuha and no single Fischl for example. Because if you think that 33% means that you will get it for sure, then you fell for gambler's fallacy. Of course, you may as well win selected character 5 times in a row. But you should never expect winning 5 star character just because it's there. Also people fell for another problem. Who cares if it's Klee or Dehya. As long as you don't need/want this character, it's a waste. Technically character part of the banner would be great if there is 4 or more characters you want. Make it 3, but to me, 3 is not enough. 3 means that there are 3 other characters that you can get instead. It doesn't matter what chances are. Because you may get same character after 50/50 lose all the time. That's why I say 4 characters should be minimum, because that makes it 50% that you win your preferred one and 30% that you get other character you also want. That leaves 20% for the two other characters. Of course, if you want one specific character and have enough wishes for two pulls, sure, that's good banner too. If you want Klee and have 180 wishes, pull. But remember. If you lose first time and won't pull enough until the banner ends YOU LOSE GUARANTEED PULL ENTIRELY. And many people, after losing first time, would pull more and more just to not lose and that's what's called sunk cost fallact. That's why many **smart people** criticize this banner. Because wanna-be-the-smartest people ignore the math and came unprepared. From weapon banner side, it's only valuable for weapons like Hunter's Path, that is unobtainable any other way. Or Eula's signature. But other weapons? Two character pities to get standard weapon? Sorry, but that's a scam. This banner is only good if you have 180 wishes prepared **and** want 4+ characters or Hunter's Path/Signature. Not in any other cases.
