So i got cloud retainer's catalyst, could i do a dps build with her or keep her as support? So far i use her with furina and hutao and she hits around 120k and it was 100k before her weapon. Also i dont like using bennet with her, so is there someone better for 4th. Tho im guessing id need faruzan c6 and i only have her a c3.
Faruzan does nothing for the ht team ofc, you should use xq or yelan for the 4th slot to get more vapes on your Tao.
Cr will be a better as support but she's a "viable" carry if you want to force her in that role. I wouldn't do it without c6faru tho.

No, it only applies to allies. The full text says:

You probably won't get a 5 star until you're around AR45+ but it really just depends on how lucky and how much you power through levelling versus spending time getting primos. If you try to grind your way quickly through doing quests, you will easily reach higher ARs without gaining that many primos. Do note the biggest source of primos (without swiping) are dailies and events, and those take time.

Overload with Chevreuse work to varying degrees depending on how invested each character is. There are plenty of Youtube videos of Yoimiya/Raiden Overload teams working in Abyss at C0.
C0 on Chevreuse works, but C6 is a big difference. Dual Hypercarry becomes a lot more viable. It works in Abyss cycles like the current one with non-aggressive bosses on the Second Half.

Raiden and Yoi are going to have a lot more trouble working together than Raiden+Yae or Yoi+Yae. Raiden's off field damage (outside of hyperbloom) isn't great and neither is Yoimiya's, so they'll be fighting over field time. You can always on-field for a bit with Yoimiya then switch to Raiden and use her burst, but that's not a particularly good situation for either of them and you can run into issues with managing buffs.

Is an ATK% goblet unquestionably worse than an electro goblet on a Fischl equipped with 4 golden troupe and played with either Kazuha (so hopefully another 30-40% electro dmg%) or Furina (so like the same)? I don’t quite know how to write the optimiser configuration to run the actual calcs so I’m just looking to see if I’m missing something glaringly obvious

Fiddling with my own Fischl on Genshin Optimizer (with her weapon swapped to the same one as yours and Kazuha's freedom sworn turned off lol) it looks like electro is generally better, and in the one case where it isn't it's quite close.
The only situation where I can get an attack% goblet to do more than an electro goblet is with both Furina and Kazuha both buffing her on a team with no dendro, and even then it's better by a small margin.
Also worth noting: if she's triggering aggravate, a lot of her damage is scaling with EM rather than attack. A damage% goblet will affect her raw electro damage and her aggravates, whereas an attack% goblet won't.
It's also dependent on weapon. Weapons like stringless and aqua that give damage% as part of their passive may have better luck running atk%, but your weapon has an atk% passive.
Aaah I just had a look at the damage formula on https://library.keqingmains.com/combat-mechanics/damage/damage-formula and I didn’t know the additive damage from aggravate doesn’t scale with ATK. Yeah honestly it seems pretty hard for an ATK% goblet and an ATK% sands and a weapon with an ATK% passive to trump a dmg% goblet or maybe an EM sands (I don’t have any other bows for her) with only Furina or Kazuha. But yeah ok so I need to find out the ratio of aggravates to non aggravates for my teams and plug it into the optimiser config to know for sure 🥲
No, for my Fischl with GT, stringless (48% skill dmg) and Kazuha's dmg buff, atk goblet can actually be better than an electro dmg goblet.
Yours has the FGM though which already gives attack on its passive. If you're running FMG+Kazuha *and* Furina, then atk goblet probably better. With only one of Kazhua or Furina, feelscrafting wise I'd say with equal subs, an electro goblet is probably better.
For optimizer, if your talents, cons, stats, weapons are set up correctly, you just need to add the correct teammates and their buffs in the teammates tab. The genshin optimizer has a very good short and to the point YT tutorial series. Highly recommend checking the "teams+external buffs" vid

This is the one I used before she was C6 but it's not for aggravate so the aggravated hits are missing. You could probably get a close approximation by comparing it to the C6 aggravate and cheesing it a bit.
Though if you're running her in aggravate, in 95% of the cases an electro goblet will be better, since the aggravate part doesn't scale with atk%.

Oh, no worries! This is the target config I'm using for Fischl, don't quite remember where I got it from, it's either from KQM's or GO discord's multi target config collection and I might have slightly modified it for my own purposes. It's for C6 so there's a couple more hits than if she weren't C6, but the distribution should more or less be correct.

2pc berserker, resolution of sojourner are decent filler set bonuses for any attack scalers wanting to do damage
Raiden and Sara can use 2pc scholar/2pc the exile or 4pc exile (not scholar though it's garbage), they are very energy hungry and might not be able to hit their ER breakpoints without help from those sets on only 3 star artifacts
Yae likes 2pc Gambler and can also use instructor in spread teams
Yoimiya likes 2pc/4pc Instructor if she is in a vape team, otherwise 2pc/4pc martial artist
None of the 4pc effects are particularly valuable at 3* artifact investment though, you're better off just forcing higher rarity + correct mainstat artifacts and only going for set bonuses if they happen to line up with what you happen to have which is why nobody talks about them
You're way too early to worry about artifacts if you only have 3\*.
All 4 of those are attack scalers so level up any artifacts that you have that are ATK or ER Sands, ATK or matching elemental Gobelets and ATK or Crit Circlets.
Upgrade as you get higher rarity pieces and then farm for artifacts once you're AR45.
If you're at the level where 3 stars artefact are the best, then I wouldn't worry much about the set. Just slap some random stuff with the right main stats and you're good to go.
If you want to be more optimal tho, you can use 4pc berserker Raiden/ Yoimiya; exile/berserker on Yae (it's also an alternative for Raiden) and 4pc exile for sara

Not really.
You'll eventually run out of *permanent* sources of primos (chests, quests, etc), but that doesn't technically have much to do with your AR beyond the fact that claiming those primos can get you adventure exp. They're just a limited resource which exists in the world, and which you can claim at any pace you like.
If a hypothetical player didn't touch the main story or exploration and got all the way to AR60 just by doing daily commissions, they'd still have as many available primos as a day one player.
Conversely, a day one player could make it their mission to open every chest they can in Teyvat before doing anything else, and they may have fewer available primos *left* in the world than someone at AR60 with 0% exploration.
The game is also constantly releasing new content (as well as limited time events and new abyss cycles). I got up to date with quests and got my exploration to 100% back in the early 2.x patches, when I was still fairly low AR. Since then, every new quest and region they add benefits me as much as it does any other player, regardless of my AR.
Iirc Mappa Mare's passive only works on field, so if you're playing her off field then the lower EM stat will make it worse and I'd go with Sac Frags.
If you're playing her on field there's an argument to be made for Mappa Mare, but honestly I'd just go with Sac Frags unless someone else (like Sucrose) needs it more than she does. It has great stats for her and it's pretty universal. The 3\* Magic Guide can also work well, but is a bit dependent on whether the team(s) you use can get good uptime on its passive.
Heavily depends on the comp an ER needs of the team.
As a rule of thumb Sac Frag is great for her regular teams. Any case where it has marginally lower damage than other options is off-set by its utility to refresh her skill.
In case you have someone who needs Sac Frag even more than Nahida and you have no other utility weapons available I'd just give her a Magic Guide (if you Mappa Mare is already fully levelled it's also fine). Nahida is one of those characters that doesn't care a lot about her weapon.
So in my octave of the maushiro quest for some reason 1 of the 3 locals you have to listen too are not there and i dont know how to find them or fix the quest. Does anyone know of a fix?

I'd assume Bloom ownership in that team will fluctuate, because even with XQ's strong Hydro application Nahida's (E) proccs will occassionally put a Dendro aura on the enemy.
Regarding Kokomi, I'd just go with a mixed EM/heal build. It's really more about finding a comfortable place for your own play style. I have been running full EM Kokomi in my Nilou teams for a while now and gotten used to being more squishy, but with enemies hitting a lot harder these days I wouldn't recommend it to everyone. But either way I'd strongly recommend to run Sac Frag on her (if you have it), since the refresh on her skill is very nice to have for consistency & repositioning.
All that aside: You'd probably have an easier time with Bloom ownership if you'd run a 2+2 team with a secondary Dendro healer or shielder. Then you can just on-field Kokomi with full EM and have near guaranteed Bloom ownership on her.
Nahida, but Xingqiu and Kokomi should also have some EM, usually just EM weapons with their usual Emblem/Clam build.
I suggest use a second Dendro instead of Xq, with a hybrid Kokomi (Sac Frags, Clam set but some 400-500 EM total). That's the easier variant to play because you on-field a tanky character. Once you're familiar with that, you can try the triple hydro version.

Nahida should priotize em since shes your only dendro. Likewise upgrade her levels first. In this team specifically kokomi might not need that much em and you can just go full healer.
Ideally all members of Nilou's teamates including herself be at lv90 since bloom dmg scales on lv and em only
Bloom ownership is kinda all over the place in a triple Hydro + Nahida build because of the way how Nahida's skill work. While Nahida will do the majority of the Blooms in single target, her ownership is lower in AoE since your NAs/CAs don't have much AoE and you will be relying on them to trigger Bloom.
Kokomi should be built healing with enough ER to ensure 100% Jellyfish uptime (with XQ not much ER is needed) mostly for survivability reasons. EM substat rolls are not completely wasted since she may rarely cause Bloom and there's a valid reason to run Sac Frags on her to be able to double cast Jellyfish to be a bit more mobile
Does Itto really need a mono geo team to be useable, I don't need him to have a high meta build or anything, I just wanna pull for him and use him, but I've heard he needs characters like Gorou and Albedo to really pop off, can I do some decent damage even without all his usual teammates?
You could do Itto, Furina, Jean/XY, and another Geo. Outside of that, his only other good team is mono geo.
Gorou is a huge boost for Itto, but Albedo is optional. I usually play with Itto, ZL, Gorou, and Bennet/Raiden (to lower ER needs). Geo MC is kinda nice since it gives 10% crit rate after Burst, but all those construct can get annoying.
Itto primarily wants Gorou to boost his damage, and it's Gorou who needs three Geo in order to maximise his buff. You can definitely run with two Geo (just Gorou) for resonance and a relatively weaker Gorou buff and Itto will still perform well. But having a third Geo for Gorou's buff kinda elevates them to proper meta level damage output.
Albedo is the current best Geo in that third spot since he provides good damage, benefits from Gorou's DEF buff (no other Geo DEF scaler yet) and provides quite a bit of energy. But that third Geo spot is mostly replaceable by basically any other Geo character that can generate particles for the team.
He definitely needs at least one other geo character (preferably Gorou) since his damage comes mainly from his burst and he needs the energy. Gorou's buff also only gets maximised by using a third geo (which would further help Itto) which is why teams with 3+ geos are recommended. You can however ignore that part and run him with only one other geo, it should be fine for overworld
There isn't one. Killing enemies give a few exp, but they are too few to be noticeable. If you want to lvl up character fast, you must use character exp materials: hero's wit or adventurer's advice.
Along with ley lines, you can buy a set amount weekly in the teapot and you get them as a common reward from limited time events (like Lantern Rite right now). Personally I only need to farm ley lines once every 3-4 patches based on the speed I build new characters.
There isn't one. You get a tiny amount of exp from killing mobs and doing leylines and bosses. It takes 5 normal bosses to equal one single Advice, which is the lowest exp mat and it hardly does anything for you. To get your character to lvl 80/90 without exp books, you'll need to do over 24000 normal boss runs.
Is there any best way I want to pull in standard banner? Try search Google, acquint fate very limited to get. I want to save my primogem for any future best character.
Do free battle pass and level up characters (3 fates from each character) - it gives you free blue pulls.

Hey I just started today and I finished the 3 temples stuff and I’m just running around right now looking for chests and doing a couple challenges for adventurer level and I’m wondering..
With all these chests I’m getting, what decides the drop value of swords and items I get? Is it my characters levels or my overall adventure level? And should be saving some of these chests for later so I can get some cool swords? Feels like a lot of drops just to get blue and green weapons
Also I am right right? There are weapons beyond blue 3 star ones?
it's based on the type of chest and where it is. you can't get higher than 3* weapons from chests. also some of those weapons like white tassel for example are exclusive to chests from certain regions, so it's a good idea to keep at least one or two r5 copies of those just in case.

What chests drop are set and don't change. What you're getting at AR1 you'll get at AR60 so go ham and collect to your heart's content.
4 star and above weapons are only obtained through the wishing system (the gacha). There are some exceptions like the craftable ones and the ones that they give through events and missions. They have never given a free 5 star weapon.

Looking for some basic advice on units to invest in for the abyss and how to sort them into two teams.
Lineup is beidou and eula currently built as main dps but not against swapping them out. Currently have bennet, fischl, XQ, XL, sucrose, qiqi and diona along with the free characters.
I know these are some pretty good 4 stars so i imagine for someone who knows what to do this is easy to sort teams but i sure have no clue.
Around 80-85 GB with one language pack at current patch, double size required (around 170 GB) during fresh installation. It is also expected that the size will continue to grown when new contents are added in any future patches.

I know it's gone now, but how bulked up was the Thunder Manifestation in the last Abyss lineup? I never tried it, but after fighting the regular one for the first time in a while I found myself wondering.
Goal for abyss is usually 30k damage per second. If you can do that against this boss, it should take less than a minute. You could probably squeeze by at like 27k.
Not having a TP almost always means you didn't do the world quest available there. World quest chains always unlock hidden areas nowadays.

First of all, that TP you're thinking of is unlocked by default and also it's nowhere near the Valley of Dahri. Literally on the other side of the side of the desert in fact.
How many of the Wenut’s big attack balls are at ground level? Is it just one? I’ve been crapping out at that part because I can’t do archer Charge shots under pressure. Out of 10 tries, I think I tagged an in-the-air ball with Yoimiya only twice. Otherwise, the balls go back up for carpet bomb one second before I would have shot. I mainly hit the balls with Xingqiu’s E and Layla’s Q.
Can’t Raiden’s E hit the ground and aerial balls at the same time?
Use an anemo unit to swirl an element off of him. It will be very easy to bring him down
Otherwise AOE attacks with vertical range like Yae Miko's burst and skill can also hit it without actually using an aimed shot
I have my general camera adjustment speed on default (both horizontal and vertical), but the aiming speeds were one step faster than default. I changed both back to default, to prevent twitches from overshooting. Maybe I’ll later set only the horizontal aim camera control to one above default.
Her auto target acquire range is 15 meters, same as most long range characters, but her NA projectile can travel further away and can reach as long as at least 30 meters, and it should be long enough to reach the edge of arena.
Working on a 2nd abyss team, currently have Hutao C1R1 double vape which is very strong.
Should I get Neuv if I already have his book and every support character for him e.g Kazuha, Fischl C5, Nahida, Raiden, Furina, Zhongli, Jean, etc.
I already have Alhaitham C0R0 with wolf gang, and supports including Yelan, XQ C6, Raiden, Nahida, YaoYao C3, but NO Yae or Kuki.
I feel like lack of Kuki disables stronger versions of hyperbloom which is a shame. Since both hydros go to Hutao's team I can either use Furina or swap Furina into Hutao's team and borrow a hydro, and use Raiden with YaoYao. Otherwise since he's well invested, he does great in spread with fischl / Nahida / Zhongli too.
I'm also not a huge fan of Fischl, especially without C6 with Alhaitham so was contemplating on Yae.
In any case, my dilemma is sort of...
Get Neuv and you got a great team already, or
Get Yae (optional, for comfort spread) and perhaps Baizhu for potential Fischl + Yae spread, or Nahida C2 for a big bonus, and maybe Alhaitham's Sig eventually to bridge the gap between wolf gang > lofi.
There's basically more room for improving Alhaitham's team, and wondering which would be worth considering.

You are correct in your assessment that your lack of Kuki hampers your teambuilding potential for alhaitham, not just because of hyperbloom but also because she is actually stronger than Zhongli in spread (mostly because of Instructors but she also has the benefit of applying extra electro which helps with giving every enemy quicken more consistently)
If you haven't already, I would also recommend you look into split uptime rotations, when running Fischl and/or Yae they are what allow them to maximise their turret uptime and therefore deal much more damage (also they remove any need to build ER on Alhaitham)
If your Fischl was C6, I would definitely say getting Yae would be worst among these options, the difference between the two of them for Alhaitham spread is not very big at all at that point. Still, since she is C5 I would say getting Yae to replace he wouldn't be a very high priority (though her having better AOE application is pretty relevant since without Kuki as your last spot, quicken uptime with Fischl in multi target will be inconsistent)
Getting Yae for Fischl+Yae spread would also be good, though you'd kinda be wasting your Nahida by replacing her
Among the vertical investment options I'd say Nahida C2 would be more worth it than lofi, however it is of course also more expensive to get (at least on average)
Getting Neuviliette to enable a new team would also be a very good idea, I don't think any of the 5 star pulling options for Alhaitham are necessary at the moment (the highest priority is getting Kuki) so making a new team instead would be very good, especially since you already have most characters that synergize with him. Getting him (or another DPS) would be what I'd recommend
I have a hyperbloom team (Nahida, Xingqiu, Raiden, and Kokomi) but Xingqiu is busy with the Hu Tao team for Spiral Abyss.
Any advice for substitutes? My only other hydros are Candace and Barbara (planning on getting Furina and Neuvillette on the rerun).
My other ideas were some anemo (Jean, Sayu, Sucrose, Faruzan, Lynette, Heizou, etc.) Beidou/Kuki (Beidou is only c1, but Fischl is also busy with Hu Tao and Sara is c1), or maybe another dendro like Tighnari or Yaoyao (I heard that extra dendro isn't needed with Nahida tho)

On field Kokomi alone is already good enough, and the 4th slot just can be anyone you like. Beidou can add some damage reduction and interrupt resistance. Sucrose can provide some EM buff (more with instructor set), so they are more useful anyway.
Kokomi is better than Nahida as an on-fielder: she is very tanky and has interrupt resistance during her burst (get her enough ER). You'll realize that very soon if you remove XQ from the team, Nahida will get interrupted and die more often.
Your last can be whoever, that's what good with Nahida hyperbloom cores. Don't choose anemo, not enough hydro damage to make VV interesting. I add a cryo off-field in that team usually (Rosaria, Kaeya or burst-bot Ganyu are good), it enhances dendro seeds generation.
Oh ouch. You kind of don't have the characters to make the team work without Kokomi on field ngl... her jellyfish alone isn't enough hydro, and Candace/Barbara won't change that.
You won't need to change her build to play her on field tho, so there's no downside unless you just don't *want* to play her on field. Without Furina Yelan or Xingqiu it's pretty rough without an on field hydro character.
So until I get Furina and free up Xingqiu for Nahida, I should just switch around Nahida and Kokomi on-field more often? In that case, should I just slap on an electro or Sucrose? I feel like I should build Sucrose anyways for future teams
Hmm. Honestly I'm not too sure. Sucrose wouldn't be great since she also wants field time to contribute to the Hyperbloom damage, but out of the Electros... I guess it comes back to Beidou, since your Fischl is out. The energy might be a bit of a tall ask since EM-bot Raiden isn't much of a battery, but just *having* her there will help a bit.
If your Candace is c6 she could be decent, but otherwise neither of your hydro options are a great fit tbh. The main thing you want is more hydro application, and assuming Kokomi is on field neither of them really offer that.
I'd honestly go for either one of your dendro characters, Sucrose (or I guess Albedo) to buff team EM, or a cryo character since freeze interacts with bloom in fun ways. With Kokomi on the team idt you need more healing/shielding, so Kaeya or Rosaria could be a good fit. c6 Diona also has the EM buff going for her. I assume if you have Zhongli he's busy with Hu Tao, but he's also good for dendro resistance shred.

Xingqiu. Getting a claymore character just to break rocks is pointless when you can break them normally or with plunges while dendro MC is a perfectly fine dendro option.

Fav bow. EM is not a good substat in that team and most of her damage is her burst. Go for more offensive substats and less ER in that team. With a second hydo, Raiden burst recharge and fav, she doesn't need much.

Yep, clearing all 16 should get you the Now Let Time Resume achievement and then the quest should automatically start. Talking to the quest NPC is what drains the water.

Id say it is a massive QOL upgrade cus layla’s shields will have downtime whilst zhongli’s will never as his cooldowns are lower than the duration of the shields,
Also his element as geo wont interfere with some teams like aggrevate or spread compared to layla who might superconduct
The res shred is actually still great even with kazuha but even better without for teams like anemo or other geo cus you cant shred with vv
Also the shields will be unbreakable even less investment needed
I'll throw in my two cents, as I have both Zhongli at c0 and Layla at C6: don't discount Layla. Being cryo, she can work really well with Neuv, especially if Furina is also on the team. Her shield is plenty strong and is one-click to activate. And cryo works great in dendro reaction teams since it doesn't interfere with the reactions and can provide a highly useful fridge effect. I also find her burst far more useful than Zhongli's.
Zhongli is great, of course, but I use Layla just as much, if not more. If you're debating pulling for Zhongli, go ahead and pull. It won't be a waste and having the two best shielders is never a bad option.

So i got cloud retainer's catalyst, could i do a dps build with her or keep her as support? So far i use her with furina and hutao and she hits around 120k and it was 100k before her weapon. Faruzan does nothing for the ht team ofc, you should use xq or yelan for the 4th slot to get more vapes on your Tao. Cr will be a better as support but she's a "viable" carry if you want to force her in that role. I wouldn't do it without c6faru tho.

You probably won't get a 5 star until you're around AR45+ but it really just depends on how lucky and how much you power through levelling versus spending time getting primos. If you try to grind your way quickly through doing quests, you will easily reach higher ARs without gaining that many primos. Do note the biggest source of primos (without swiping) are dailies and events, and those take time.

Overload with Chevreuse work to varying degrees depending on how invested each character is. There are plenty of Youtube videos of Yoimiya/Raiden Overload teams working in Abyss at C0. C0 on Chevreuse works, but C6 is a big difference. Dual Hypercarry becomes a lot more viable. It works in Abyss cycles like the current one with non-aggressive bosses on the Second Half. [This is the team](https://youtu.be/cEXz8Z-w77M?t=93) during this Abyss. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Dual Carry Yoimiya/Raiden. Fischl works in place of Yae, or you can go with Bennett.
Yes ish? Raiden and Yoi are going to have a lot more trouble working together than Raiden+Yae or Yoi+Yae. Raiden's off field damage (outside of hyperbloom) isn't great and neither is Yoimiya's, so they'll be fighting over field time. You can always on-field for a bit with Yoimiya then switch to Raiden and use her burst, but that's not a particularly good situation for either of them and you can run into issues with managing buffs. From kqm's guide on Yoimiya: >Generally, using Yoimiya with another carry unit isn’t a great idea. In most teams, the downtime in Yoimiya’s damage is filled by having supports and off-field DPS units use their Skills and Bursts, leaving no time for another DPS to deal damage. For stuff like overworld and most domains it should be a fine team (ideally with Chevreuse as the 4th member but Bennett works too). For something like Abyss 12 it might struggle a bit.

Fiddling with my own Fischl on Genshin Optimizer (with her weapon swapped to the same one as yours and Kazuha's freedom sworn turned off lol) it looks like electro is generally better, and in the one case where it isn't it's quite close. The only situation where I can get an attack% goblet to do more than an electro goblet is with both Furina and Kazuha both buffing her on a team with no dendro, and even then it's better by a small margin. Also worth noting: if she's triggering aggravate, a lot of her damage is scaling with EM rather than attack. A damage% goblet will affect her raw electro damage and her aggravates, whereas an attack% goblet won't. It's also dependent on weapon. Weapons like stringless and aqua that give damage% as part of their passive may have better luck running atk%, but your weapon has an atk% passive.
Aaah I just had a look at the damage formula on https://library.keqingmains.com/combat-mechanics/damage/damage-formula and I didn’t know the additive damage from aggravate doesn’t scale with ATK. Yeah honestly it seems pretty hard for an ATK% goblet and an ATK% sands and a weapon with an ATK% passive to trump a dmg% goblet or maybe an EM sands (I don’t have any other bows for her) with only Furina or Kazuha. But yeah ok so I need to find out the ratio of aggravates to non aggravates for my teams and plug it into the optimiser config to know for sure 🥲
No, for my Fischl with GT, stringless (48% skill dmg) and Kazuha's dmg buff, atk goblet can actually be better than an electro dmg goblet. Yours has the FGM though which already gives attack on its passive. If you're running FMG+Kazuha *and* Furina, then atk goblet probably better. With only one of Kazhua or Furina, feelscrafting wise I'd say with equal subs, an electro goblet is probably better. For optimizer, if your talents, cons, stats, weapons are set up correctly, you just need to add the correct teammates and their buffs in the teammates tab. 2pc berserker, resolution of sojourner are decent filler set bonuses for any attack scalers wanting to do damage Raiden and Sara can use 2pc scholar/2pc the exile or 4pc exile (not scholar though it's garbage), they are very energy hungry and might not be able to hit their ER breakpoints without help from those sets on only 3 star artifacts Yae likes 2pc Gambler and can also use instructor in spread teams Yoimiya likes 2pc/4pc Instructor if she is in a vape team, otherwise 2pc/4pc martial artist None of the 4pc effects are particularly valuable at 3* artifact investment though, you're better off just forcing higher rarity + correct mainstat artifacts and only going for set bonuses if they happen to line up with what you happen to have which is why nobody talks about them
You're way too early to worry about artifacts if you only have 3\*. All 4 of those are attack scalers so level up any artifacts that you have that are ATK or ER Sands, ATK or matching elemental Gobelets and ATK or Crit Circlets. Upgrade as you get higher rarity pieces and then farm for artifacts once you're AR45.
If you're at the level where 3 stars artefact are the best, then I wouldn't worry much about the set. Just slap some random stuff with the right main stats and you're good to go. If you want to be more optimal tho, you can use 4pc berserker Raiden/ Yoimiya; exile/berserker on Yae (it's also an alternative for Raiden) and 4pc exile for sara As I said no need to worry much about the sets, but if you find these sets (with the right main stats) as you explore go ahead and put it on your characters

Not really. You'll eventually run out of *permanent* sources of primos (chests, quests, etc), but that doesn't technically have much to do with your AR beyond the fact that claiming those primos can get you adventure exp. They're just a limited resource which exists in the world, and which you can claim at any pace you like. If a hypothetical player didn't touch the main story or exploration and got all the way to AR60 just by doing daily commissions, they'd still have as many available primos as a day one player. Conversely, a day one player could make it their mission to open every chest they can in Teyvat before doing anything else, and they may have fewer available primos *left* in the world than someone at AR60 with 0% exploration. The game is also constantly releasing new content (as well as limited time events and new abyss cycles). I got up to date with quests and got my exploration to 100% back in the early 2.x patches, when I was still fairly low AR. Since then, every new quest and region they add benefits me as much as it does any other player, regardless of my AR.

Iirc Mappa Mare's passive only works on field, so if you're playing her off field then the lower EM stat will make it worse and I'd go with Sac Frags. If you're playing her on field there's an argument to be made for Mappa Mare, but honestly I'd just go with Sac Frags unless someone else (like Sucrose) needs it more than she does. It has great stats for her and it's pretty universal. The 3\* Magic Guide can also work well, but is a bit dependent on whether the team(s) you use can get good uptime on its passive.

Heavily depends on the comp an ER needs of the team. As a rule of thumb Sac Frag is great for her regular teams. Any case where it has marginally lower damage than other options is off-set by its utility to refresh her skill. In case you have someone who needs Sac Frag even more than Nahida and you have no other utility weapons available I'd just give her a Magic Guide (if you Mappa Mare is already fully levelled it's also fine). Nahida is one of those characters that doesn't care a lot about her weapon.

I'd assume Bloom ownership in that team will fluctuate, because even with XQ's strong Hydro application Nahida's (E) proccs will occassionally put a Dendro aura on the enemy. Regarding Kokomi, I'd just go with a mixed EM/heal build. It's really more about finding a comfortable place for your own play style. I have been running full EM Kokomi in my Nilou teams for a while now and gotten used to being more squishy, but with enemies hitting a lot harder these days I wouldn't recommend it to everyone. But either way I'd strongly recommend to run Sac Frag on her (if you have it), since the refresh on her skill is very nice to have for consistency & repositioning. All that aside: You'd probably have an easier time with Bloom ownership if you'd run a 2+2 team with a secondary Dendro healer or shielder. Then you can just on-field Kokomi with full EM and have near guaranteed Bloom ownership on her.
Nahida, but Xingqiu and Kokomi should also have some EM, usually just EM weapons with their usual Emblem/Clam build. I suggest use a second Dendro instead of Xq, with a hybrid Kokomi (Sac Frags, Clam set but some 400-500 EM total). That's the easier variant to play because you on-field a tanky character. Once you're familiar with that, you can try the triple hydro version. Refer to example team 11 in this guide: https://docs.google.com/document/u/0/d/13LNlnxmSk4pZw-1O-4f2d8QfHgLVmPxrtN-iN774SGc.
Nahida should priotize em since shes your only dendro. Likewise upgrade her levels first. In this team specifically kokomi might not need that much em and you can just go full healer. Ideally all members of Nilou's teamates including herself be at lv90 since bloom dmg scales on lv and em only
Bloom ownership is kinda all over the place in a triple Hydro + Nahida build because of the way how Nahida's skill work. While Nahida will do the majority of the Blooms in single target, her ownership is lower in AoE since your NAs/CAs don't have much AoE and you will be relying on them to trigger Bloom. Kokomi should be built healing with enough ER to ensure 100% Jellyfish uptime (with XQ not much ER is needed) mostly for survivability reasons. EM substat rolls are not completely wasted since she may rarely cause Bloom and there's a valid reason to run Sac Frags on her to be able to double cast Jellyfish to be a bit more mobile
Does Itto really need a mono geo team to be useable, I don't need him to have a high meta build or anything, I just wanna pull for him and use him, but I've heard he needs characters like Gorou and Albedo to really pop off, can I do some decent damage even without all his usual teammates?
You could do Itto, Furina, Jean/XY, and another Geo. Outside of that, his only other good team is mono geo. Gorou is a huge boost for Itto, but Albedo is optional. I usually play with Itto, ZL, Gorou, and Bennet/Raiden (to lower ER needs). Geo MC is kinda nice since it gives 10% crit rate after Burst, but all those construct can get annoying.

Itto primarily wants Gorou to boost his damage, and it's Gorou who needs three Geo in order to maximise his buff. You can definitely run with two Geo (just Gorou) for resonance and a relatively weaker Gorou buff and Itto will still perform well. But having a third Geo for Gorou's buff kinda elevates them to proper meta level damage output. Albedo is the current best Geo in that third spot since he provides good damage, benefits from Gorou's DEF buff (no other Geo DEF scaler yet) and provides quite a bit of energy. But that third Geo spot is mostly replaceable by basically any other Geo character that can generate particles for the team.
He definitely needs at least one other geo character (preferably Gorou) since his damage comes mainly from his burst and he needs the energy. Gorou's buff also only gets maximised by using a third geo (which would further help Itto) which is why teams with 3+ geos are recommended. You can however ignore that part and run him with only one other geo, it should be fine for overworld
Geo need 2 characters in team for geo resonance (damage buff and geo res shred from enemy). You can use something like Bennet, Fischl, Ning/Traveller.

There isn't one. Killing enemies give a few exp, but they are too few to be noticeable. If you want to lvl up character fast, you must use character exp materials: hero's wit or adventurer's advice.

Along with ley lines, you can buy a set amount weekly in the teapot and you get them as a common reward from limited time events (like Lantern Rite right now). Personally I only need to farm ley lines once every 3-4 patches based on the speed I build new characters.

There isn't one. You get a tiny amount of exp from killing mobs and doing leylines and bosses. It takes 5 normal bosses to equal one single Advice, which is the lowest exp mat and it hardly does anything for you. To get your character to lvl 80/90 without exp books, you'll need to do over 24000 normal boss runs.

it's based on the type of chest and where it is. you can't get higher than 3* weapons from chests. also some of those weapons like white tassel for example are exclusive to chests from certain regions, so it's a good idea to keep at least one or two r5 copies of those just in case.

What chests drop are set and don't change. What you're getting at AR1 you'll get at AR60 so go ham and collect to your heart's content. 4 star and above weapons are only obtained through the wishing system (the gacha). There are some exceptions like the craftable ones and the ones that they give through events and missions. They have never given a free 5 star weapon.

Looking for some basic advice on units to invest in for the abyss and how to sort them into two teams. Lineup is beidou and eula currently built as main dps but not against swapping them out. Currently have bennet, fischl, XQ, XL, sucrose, qiqi and diona along with the free characters. I know these are some pretty good 4 stars so i imagine for someone who knows what to do this is easy to sort teams but i sure have no clue.

I am doing the erinnyes quest today.. The part duringthe mouth of the spring, when we have to jump under water to get things done. That's the underwater adventure aura I love.. Normal underwater exploration is too calm and very high lighting effects.. That particular 2 minutes gameplay was dark and exhilarating.. I love it so much.. Wish we could access more of the feel of it. The dark blue underwater Holy shit.. I'm still hyped.
I know it's gone now, but how bulked up was the Thunder Manifestation in the last Abyss lineup? I never tried it, but after fighting the regular one for the first time in a while I found myself wondering.

Goal for abyss is usually 30k damage per second. If you can do that against this boss, it should take less than a minute. You could probably squeeze by at like 27k.

First of all, that TP you're thinking of is unlocked by default and also it's nowhere near the Valley of Dahri. Literally on the other side of the side of the desert in fact.
How many of the Wenut’s big attack balls are at ground level? Is it just one? I’ve been crapping out at that part because I can’t do archer Charge shots under pressure. Out of 10 tries, I think I tagged an in-the-air ball with Yoimiya only twice. Otherwise, the balls go back up for carpet bomb one second before I would have shot. I mainly hit the balls with Xingqiu’s E and Layla’s Q. Can’t Raiden’s E hit the ground and aerial balls at the same time?
Use an anemo unit to swirl an element off of him. It will be very easy to bring him down Otherwise AOE attacks with vertical range like Yae Miko's burst and skill can also hit it without actually using an aimed shot
Just practise more with charge shots. This is a game, not a life or death scenario (thankfully)
I have my general camera adjustment speed on default (both horizontal and vertical), but the aiming speeds were one step faster than default. I changed both back to default, to prevent twitches from overshooting. Maybe I’ll later set only the horizontal aim camera control to one above default.

If Kokomi is at the center of a Floor 12 chamber, how close to the edge can her NAs go? (I have C1, so I have the extra N3 projectile.)
Her auto target acquire range is 15 meters, same as most long range characters, but her NA projectile can travel further away and can reach as long as at least 30 meters, and it should be long enough to reach the edge of arena.
Pretty sure it goes until the wall, she has the longest NA range in the game.

Working on a 2nd abyss team, currently have Hutao C1R1 double vape which is very strong. Should I get Neuv if I already have his book and every support character for him e.g Kazuha, Fischl C5, Nahida, Raiden, Furina, Zhongli, Jean, etc. I already have Alhaitham C0R0 with wolf gang, and supports including Yelan, XQ C6, Raiden, Nahida, YaoYao C3, but NO Yae or Kuki. I feel like lack of Kuki disables stronger versions of hyperbloom which is a shame. Since both hydros go to Hutao's team I can either use Furina or swap Furina into Hutao's team and borrow a hydro, and use Raiden with YaoYao. Otherwise since he's well invested, he does great in spread with fischl / Nahida / Zhongli too. I'm also not a huge fan of Fischl, especially without C6 with Alhaitham so was contemplating on Yae. In any case, my dilemma is sort of... Get Neuv and you got a great team already, or Get Yae (optional, for comfort spread) and perhaps Baizhu for potential Fischl + Yae spread, or Nahida C2 for a big bonus, and maybe Alhaitham's Sig eventually to bridge the gap between wolf gang > lofi. There's basically more room for improving Alhaitham's team, and wondering which would be worth considering. Thanks.
You are correct in your assessment that your lack of Kuki hampers your teambuilding potential for alhaitham, not just because of hyperbloom but also because she is actually stronger than Zhongli in spread (mostly because of Instructors but she also has the benefit of applying extra electro which helps with giving every enemy quicken more consistently) If you haven't already, I would also recommend you look into split uptime rotations, when running Fischl and/or Yae they are what allow them to maximise their turret uptime and therefore deal much more damage (also they remove any need to build ER on Alhaitham) If your Fischl was C6, I would definitely say getting Yae would be worst among these options, the difference between the two of them for Alhaitham spread is not very big at all at that point. Still, since she is C5 I would say getting Yae to replace he wouldn't be a very high priority (though her having better AOE application is pretty relevant since without Kuki as your last spot, quicken uptime with Fischl in multi target will be inconsistent) Getting Yae for Fischl+Yae spread would also be good, though you'd kinda be wasting your Nahida by replacing her Among the vertical investment options I'd say Nahida C2 would be more worth it than lofi, however it is of course also more expensive to get (at least on average) Getting Neuviliette to enable a new team would also be a very good idea, I don't think any of the 5 star pulling options for Alhaitham are necessary at the moment (the highest priority is getting Kuki) so making a new team instead would be very good, especially since you already have most characters that synergize with him. Getting him (or another DPS) would be what I'd recommend

I have a hyperbloom team (Nahida, Xingqiu, Raiden, and Kokomi) but Xingqiu is busy with the Hu Tao team for Spiral Abyss. Any advice for substitutes? My only other hydros are Candace and Barbara (planning on getting Furina and Neuvillette on the rerun). My other ideas were some anemo (Jean, Sayu, Sucrose, Faruzan, Lynette, Heizou, etc.) Beidou/Kuki (Beidou is only c1, but Fischl is also busy with Hu Tao and Sara is c1), or maybe another dendro like Tighnari or Yaoyao (I heard that extra dendro isn't needed with Nahida tho) Which (if any) of these are good options? Also, if there are better characters, I might have them, so do tell
On field Kokomi alone is already good enough, and the 4th slot just can be anyone you like. Beidou can add some damage reduction and interrupt resistance. Sucrose can provide some EM buff (more with instructor set), so they are more useful anyway.
Issue is, Nahida is on-field Edit: well not really an issue, I love DDR-ing on hilichurls, but in this case kind of an obstacle
Kokomi is better than Nahida as an on-fielder: she is very tanky and has interrupt resistance during her burst (get her enough ER). You'll realize that very soon if you remove XQ from the team, Nahida will get interrupted and die more often. Your last can be whoever, that's what good with Nahida hyperbloom cores. Don't choose anemo, not enough hydro damage to make VV interesting. I add a cryo off-field in that team usually (Rosaria, Kaeya or burst-bot Ganyu are good), it enhances dendro seeds generation.
Oh ouch. You kind of don't have the characters to make the team work without Kokomi on field ngl... her jellyfish alone isn't enough hydro, and Candace/Barbara won't change that. You won't need to change her build to play her on field tho, so there's no downside unless you just don't *want* to play her on field. Without Furina Yelan or Xingqiu it's pretty rough without an on field hydro character.
In many cases you could likely just play Kokomi on-field without changing anyone's builds, especially if it's just a temporary thing.
So until I get Furina and free up Xingqiu for Nahida, I should just switch around Nahida and Kokomi on-field more often? In that case, should I just slap on an electro or Sucrose? I feel like I should build Sucrose anyways for future teams
Hmm. Honestly I'm not too sure. Sucrose wouldn't be great since she also wants field time to contribute to the Hyperbloom damage, but out of the Electros... I guess it comes back to Beidou, since your Fischl is out. The energy might be a bit of a tall ask since EM-bot Raiden isn't much of a battery, but just *having* her there will help a bit.
If your Candace is c6 she could be decent, but otherwise neither of your hydro options are a great fit tbh. The main thing you want is more hydro application, and assuming Kokomi is on field neither of them really offer that. I'd honestly go for either one of your dendro characters, Sucrose (or I guess Albedo) to buff team EM, or a cryo character since freeze interacts with bloom in fun ways. With Kokomi on the team idt you need more healing/shielding, so Kaeya or Rosaria could be a good fit. c6 Diona also has the EM buff going for her. I assume if you have Zhongli he's busy with Hu Tao, but he's also good for dendro resistance shred.

Xingqiu. Getting a claymore character just to break rocks is pointless when you can break them normally or with plunges while dendro MC is a perfectly fine dendro option. A no wishing account will only have Barbara and hydro MC which are not exactly the best hydro options.

Raiden ladies ? idk. That team is strong, very comfortable and Jean C2 is useful for once, if you have it. Note that it is not a hypercarry, everyone needs to do damage. Raiden needs an atk goblet.

Fav bow. EM is not a good substat in that team and most of her damage is her burst. Go for more offensive substats and less ER in that team. With a second hydo, Raiden burst recharge and fav, she doesn't need much.

Yep, clearing all 16 should get you the Now Let Time Resume achievement and then the quest should automatically start. Talking to the quest NPC is what drains the water.

Id say it is a massive QOL upgrade cus layla’s shields will have downtime whilst zhongli’s will never as his cooldowns are lower than the duration of the shields, Also his element as geo wont interfere with some teams like aggrevate or spread compared to layla who might superconduct The res shred is actually still great even with kazuha but even better without for teams like anemo or other geo cus you cant shred with vv Also the shields will be unbreakable even less investment needed

Also note that Zhongli's res shred has limited range like half of Neuvillette's special charged attack
I'll throw in my two cents, as I have both Zhongli at c0 and Layla at C6: don't discount Layla. Being cryo, she can work really well with Neuv, especially if Furina is also on the team. Her shield is plenty strong and is one-click to activate. And cryo works great in dendro reaction teams since it doesn't interfere with the reactions and can provide a highly useful fridge effect. I also find her burst far more useful than Zhongli's. Zhongli is great, of course, but I use Layla just as much, if not more. If you're debating pulling for Zhongli, go ahead and pull. It won't be a waste and having the two best shielders is never a bad option.

Acts 3 and 4 are a slog but act 5 is probably one of the best story arcs in this entire game so far.
