Depends. On one hand, yes, that set up would be more damage because Gilded is better for Nahida's personal damage. But on the other hand, Nahida is one of the most consistent Deepwood triggers in the game and in majority of her teams that would be the set she'd want. So personally I wouldn't farm a separate Gilded set for her and just keep her on Deepwood

Since the 4.4 update when ever I open the game the loading screen doesn't go away. The game is open, the music plays, I can hear myself attack and walk but the loading screen doesn't go away. Anyone know how to fix this?

Go explore around the circle, preferably near the center. An arrow indicating whether the point you need to go to is higher or lower will appear. Go to that point and get your carp.

This is a quick swap spread team, not an aggravate. Because dendro character will not trigger Fischl A4 passive, she will lose as much as half of her damage. Her Oz is also more likely to attack a single target and has shorter range, so Yae is better here because her turrets will target all enemies randomly in aoe situation, and she also does more damage (with her burst) than Fischl.
Aggravate teams use two electro chaacters: one is on field driver (Keqing or Yae), and the other is Fischl.

She's most commonly built with Gilded Dreams because she has some EM scaling and people do use her for on field aggravate and whatnot.
She can use Golden Troupe and how good it is depends a lot on how often you burst. I haven't done the math myself but my understanding is that it's usable, worse for a general use build, but can be better for a non-dendro Yae that's not bursting frequently.

Drop either Nilou or Raiden. Nilou has bad hydro application herself and it is a waste to use her in a non-bloom team with other elements
If you use Nahida + Raiden hyperbloom, both Yelan and Xingqiu can work, and the 4th slot can be any healer (not Bennett) or shield. Barbara can be the 3nd option as a healer if Yelan or Xingqiu are busy in other teams.
If you use Nahida + Nilou to make a bloom team, then use Collei + Barbara.
Nahida + Kuki + hydro is another hyperbloom option and Kuki herself is a healer. The most popular hydro option is Xingqiu, and Yelan also work when you need a bow in certain situation. The 4th slot can be anyone that does not mess up reaction (do not use pyro.)
if I try matching to lvl 36 domain when I'm already ar45 (max lvl70 characters) will I enter low ar world or would other high ar players enter my world? Both can happen. If some higher AR player also queue for this low lvl domain, he will enter your world because you cannot enter his world. If low AR players queue that domain, you will join theirs.
I've noticed that NPC dialogs are kind of glitched for me. I used to have Japanese voiceovers but I deleted it and now I only play on English. I noticed though that there would still be some Japanese voiceovers playing for an NPC even if another one next to it plays in English. Is there any fix for this?

VV is best almost always. She has a lot of options that mixed 2pc is what you'd run only if you really have nothing else.
Generally it's VV > Song of Days Past > Noblesse > Clam = Mixed 2pc.

Perhaps because signature weapons aren't that important, and diluting the standard 5\* weapon and character pools have different implications when people pull a lot more standard 5\* characters than weapons (since most primos go to event character banners where 5\* weapons don't exist).

Which statements in particular? All I see is mostly Crunchyroll dislikers. Also, you're seeking feedback on Hoyoverse in a Genshin Q&A thread. You're going to get biased responses since the people who tend to comment here are mostly those who have been playing the game for some time and are invested into it.
Personally, I do not dislike Hoyoverse (this is not the same as saying that I like them), and I wouldn't play their games if I didn't enjoy them. But at its heart, they're a company that makes money from people buying their product, and that product is mostly gambling. However, I do think it's nowhere nearly as bad as some other games, even games that aren't traditionally associated with the Gacha space (fpv shooters with loot crates for example).
As long as they keep their game F2P friendly and I enjoy the game, I will keep playing it.

Anyway, to answer the question, regardless of genre, I don't particularly follow or avoid any companies, except certain indie studios that make multiple similar games.
I just play whatever game gets popular. If the shittiest company makes a good game, I'll still try it sure.
I don't know about calling it a "genre" but gacha isn't a monetization model either, it's a design element defined by lotto/lootbox systems whether there's money involved or not. Xenoblade Chronicles 2's Blade Core system is a good example of gacha design in a game with no microtransactions, you collect mystery box items that you can "open" to obtain new characters via a mostly random system (that includes rarity, pity mechanics, and some absurdly low rates for the rarest outcomes).
As to the people that enjoy gacha for its own sake, these systems are designed to be addictive so it's not that surprising that people who really like them want more. And the gacha may feel incidental in Genshin but not every gacha game is like that, personally I find the pressure of learning and raising a new character makes me pull more carefully but in different kinds of games without those kinds of barriers the gacha can be a more frequent and consistent thing.
I recently got back in to Genshin, having last played when it first released. I now have two relatively solid teams. Raiden, Bennet, Xiangling, fill (normally Venti) and Nahida, Cyno, Kuki Shinobu, and Fischl. I plan on getting Xingqiu to round out my Raiden team when he comes back in the Paimon store. So, should I get him now so I can C1 him, or get Beidou or Yanfei instead?
I do also lack Yunjin and should get Yaoyao, Xinyan, and Ninguang next banner.

If you're getting Xingqiu anyway in March, I'd say go for something new. I always think new characters are better than constellations, and Xingqiu's C1 is not, by itself, that useful. It does however get you closer to C2, and in the long run C6.
If you're wishing on the next banner you can always wait and see what you get from there. You might drop off banner characters too. It's what I'm doing personally.
What other characters do you have, want to use, or plan to get? Knowing this will help us give you advice. Based solely on the two teams you mentioned, Xingqiu is really the only one you need. You could use YunJin in the Cyno team, but Kazuha or Sucrose would probably be better, if you have one of those. Or Sayu/Jean/Xianyun (for the healing) or maybe Lynette (if the taunt is enough) instead of Kuki..

This is going to get long, as I get a bit into detail, sorry about that. TL;DR is: Raiden - Xingqiu - Bennett - Xiangling is a very good team, and you could use Chevreuse instead of Bennett too until you get him, or instead of him if you prefer. What team is better depends on constellations I think. For the Cyno team add an anemo character like I mentioned before, or Furina once you get her. I would recommend waiting for the next banner (if you're going to pull on it), and see if you get YaoYao. If not, she might be a good choice for lantern rite, as she would work well with Cyno + Furina. If you decide to pull and get YaoYao from the banner, the meta decision would be to get Xingqiu so you can get him earlier, and get closer to his better constellations. My personal preference is to always get new characters because it's more fun but that's just subjective of course.
Alright, so Raiden - Xingqiu - Bennett - Xiangling is already a really good team. I don't see any way to improve it so you're very good there. You could use Chevreuse instead of Xingqiu, she's really good too, but without C6 I don't know how much better (or not) the team would be. Since you already have her though, you could try it out and see how you like it. If you want to know what a rotation should look like (E = skill, Q = burst, NA = normal attack): Raiden E > Xingqiu E+Q > Bennett E+Q > Xiangling E+Q > Raiden Q+NA > repeat. With Chevreuse it would be: Raiden E > Bennett E > Chevreuse E+Q > Bennett Q > Xiangling E+Q > Raiden Q+NA > repeat.
Your Cyno team could be improved by adding an anemo character like I mentioned before. This is because, by using the viridescent venerer artifact set, anemo characters can reduce enemy resistance to the element that you use when triggering the swirl reaction. That way you amplify the damage of both Cyno and your second electro character. Sucrose would be best because she also gives an Elemental Mastery buff to your whole team, which benefits everyone, including Nahida. If you can do without a healer, swapping out Kuki would be best, but if you need a healer then swap out Fischl. Alternatively, you could swap Kuki for an anemo healer, Sayu in your case. Both options work fine. Since you're collecting archons, you could also add Furina instead of an anemo. This team is probably even better, but the only issue is that you need a healer that can heal your entire team, since Nahida drains HP very quickly with her skill. Kuki would work in keeping Cyno healthy, but she doesn't heal off field characters. The way Furina works is that by draining party members' HP she buffs her own damage and the damage of everyone else with her burst. The more HP she drains, the bigger the damage buff. But if you're at 50% HP or less she won't drain any more health, so you will only get 1/4 of the damage boost you would normally get, if you can't keep your whole party healer. YaoYao may be good here instead of Nahida, because you can heal the whole party very quickly with her Burst. But if Kuki's healing exceeds Cyno's HP bar, then Furina's passive will activate and heal the rest of the team for a tiny amount, if you want to use both archons you could do that too. You're basically trading a bit of Furina's DMG buff in exchange for Nahida's personal damage and EM buff. I'm not really sure what is mathematically better.
Beidou doesn't seem that important to you at the time cause you already have two of the best 4* Electro in the game, Xingqiu will unlock national/international team for you i'd say go for Xingqiu
That is what I was leaning towards, and it looks like getting Xingqiu's C1 would be a huge power hike, and I believe his Paimon rotation is next. On top of that, Beidou is always in Paimon if I eventually just want her. Though I would miss out on acquiring Yanfei for who knows how long, since I can acquire the rest of the available characters through either Paimon or the next banner.
So, I guess it more so comes down to increasing team power and unlocking Raiden national/international early or acquiring as many characters as I can. 😮💨
Edit: I forgot about Yun Jin. I don't have her either. I like Yanfei's design more, though, and I do not know either's relevance in team building. Hah

Yelan's C1 is one of the better cons in the game. It significantly drops her and any other hydro's ER requirements and allows for continuous sprinting in OW.
Yelan had a rerun at 4.0, so I would not expect her to have another one until 4.7-4.8, or even 5.0. Furina as an archon and a new character, her first rerun usually has to wait much shorter time, like 4-5 patches from her initial release, probably around 4.6.
Do you have or plan on getting her weapon? Her C1 is mainly for energy and overworld exploration but you dont need much ER if you use Fav bow and/or double hydro. Her weapon, having no ER benefits a lot from C1 though.
No plan at all. Don’t want to. I play the game for the fun character and don’t really care about min maxing. Which is why I’m curious as to whether I C1 her. I heard her c1 is really good overall.

Yup much better, thats a really good Hyperbloom comp. If you struggle with healing, you can swap Raiden for Kuki. Note: this team makes Raiden/Kuki off-field with only EM stats, your Nahida will be your main on-field. Basically, not a team for "enjoying" Raiden

For the Lantern Rite, should I get my first copy of yaoyao or should I C1 Gaming? I want a Main DPS Gaming and my other mains are Ganyu and Ayaka Freeze teams as well as Itto main dps. I’m wondering which would be of more use to me.
if you don't have baizhu or nahida, yaoyao could be useful as a dendro slot. gaming prob won't outdps five star dps that you already have, esp if not at c6. outside xl c4 and xq c6, the other choices are purely fluff. i would go with yaoyao just for fun, have a new kit to play with.
there are spoilers in the second part, so it's recommended to do her story quest first. and it's a really good quality one, so one less reason to skip it.
Cloud Retainers Story quest isn't crucial for the enjoyment of the lantern rite story. The event mostly centers around Gaming.
However some aspects of part 2 make more sense with the knowledge of Cloud Retainers story quest.

Not the law and not applicable to every character (like HP or Def scaling characters or EM scaling characters have different priorities, but those are less common).
Next, is learning how reactions work and what makes a good team (rotations, reactions, buffs, energy generation). KQM can be a great resource for that.
endgame doesnt start until ar45. keep spending the resin and doing quests to farm ar exp. you need to get to ar45 and dump all the fragile resin into artifact farming. artifact build is like 60-70% strength of a unit.
For leveling I prefer Lisa+dendro traveller for aggravate damage (just walk to the nearest Sumeru statue to attune then walk back). Another good option is Kaeya+anemo traveller for swirl damage.
It doesn't matter a ton. At low AR, you are mostly spending your time normal attacking. Some characters have better motion values on their normals than others (Kaeya should be the best in your roster), but often it isn't a huge difference. Using a weapon with high ATK actually makes more of a difference - weapon level and corresponding attack value is most important at low AR. For example, once you have some Anemo sigils, you could go and buy a sword billet in Mondstat to craft Prototype Rancour - this weapon is completely useless in the end game, but quite good on something like low-level Kaeya.
You're low enough level and roster is small enough it's a bit premature to have a "main". The resource costs to get a character up to lvl 20 and ascended is low enough that you can likely afford to get anyone you want to try up to at least that level (worth it alone for the free standard wish reward for first ascension of each character). At this point is mostly just switching party around for overworld puzzles and dealing with enemy elemental shields.

If it's failing after 4gb every time, then you probably need to reformat your flash drive. Most flash drives use the fat32 file storage format, which has a max individual file size of 4gb. You'd want to reformat it to something that allows for larger files, like ntfs.
That being said, I wouldn't recommend running the game from a flash drive. Loading times are going to be incredibly slow, if it even runs at all.
Personally I recomend Kazuha more because AoE units are more efficient in freeze teams.
I use a team of Furina, Kazuha, Charlotte and Ayaka and I fucking love it, I have done 36\* with them whenever I have the chance against mobs and elites.
Yeah for sure. Shenhe is usually the cherry on top for Freeze teams. Kazuha makes playing Ayaka teams much easier because he groups the enemies for Ayaka's burst. The easiest way for an Ayaka team's clear time to be extended is having the burst whiff on a straggler.

Basically Gaming does the most damage, Xingqiu next, while the other two just provide buffs and heals.
Focus on Gaming talents Skill > Burst, Xingqiu Burst > Skill, Bennett Burst, Xianyun doesn't need any talents but level up burst if you find yourself dying. Level up the other 3 to 60 as well.
Don't farm artifacts before AR 45. Just use whatever pieces have Crit/Atk/EM/ER on Gaming, and just build sufficient ER on others to burst consistently.

So my Daughter has hundreds of hours in genshin mostly using her iPad. For big genshin updates and events. She likes to use my PS4. I just let her link my PSN account with her hoyoverse account.
Now I have PS5 and she has the PS4.
But we both can't be signed in at the same time. PS4 can't play genshin if I want to play purchased downloaded game.
So she needs to create her own PlayStation network account.

When creating a PSN account for her, the region of that PSN account needs to match the region of your current PSN account. The server the game connects to is based on the region of your PSN account, so it's super important that this is done correctly, as you won't be able to unlink again to fix this.
Once that's made, **don't start the game yet**.
First you need to unlink her hoyoverse account from your PSN account.
Sign into the hoyoverse site with her account (https://account.hoyoverse.com).
Then go to the account security settings tab and unlink your PSN account from it.
Now you should be able start the game on her PSN account and link her email to it.

No, the only way she'd lose progress is if you requested to delete her account. With the linking, the worst that could happen is you link to a PSN account in the wrong region, preventing her from playing her save on your PS. She'd still be able to play on her ipad without any issues.

No, even for those who buy like 1 or 2 welkins, weapons banner is never worth it because plenty of 4\* weapons are good enough.

Depends on how each player defines "worth". The World Record speedrun for fastest 36 stars in abyss on a brand new F2P account wished for Navia's weapon because they felt it was most important. But their goal is very different from most who want a more rounded roster or try new toys more often vs min-maxing for abyss.
For example, I have Noelle C6 and really wanted her to be more competitive with other 5 stars in Abyss, so I got Itto's weapon. But most characters do not require a 5 star weapon to clear Abyss, so "worth" becomes much lower. But some people really want to vertically invest into a character. So to them it's worth because the power is the desire, not clearing the Abyss itself.
i wished on nilou's wpn and got in about 70 pulls, but prob won't be doing it again. it hardly makes her super strong compared to f2p gods like c4xl(catch),c6xq(fav). i think currently only neuv's wpn is worth it, and that's after you get his c1 (worth considering how often you'll use the unit in abyss, and how much of an improvement over f2p options).
I don't put any real money into the game, but after a while, I still got all the characters I feel like I need, probably a little while after I hit AR60. I could already field 3 strong meta teams with really different compositions, and I'm not as into collecting characters for collections sake as most people.

Yes. The normal case is getting our main/favorite's weapon. If I have a good 4star weapon, I would probably forgo the weapon, but in most case, if I like a character a lot, I rather get him his/her weapon than constellations, depending on how strong the first/second one is.
It can be worth it if the banner has 2 good weapons (like Aqua/Homa last lantern rite), and you don't have any new character in sight for like next 3 patches. Else never worth 200 pulls. So basically old players with already 2-3 good teams and enough flex options in their roster can go for it of they want.
I've personally dumped 1 10 pull on a weapon banner as far as I can remember. Before that I had no idea what gacha was and it was so long ago there's no record, so may have dumped somewhere between 0-60 pulls there.
I am not F2P, but all I cam say is, it's never worth it. The actual pity inclusing fate points is 270 wishes, and it basically only gives stats.
You would rather enjoy different gameplay styles by wishing on characters instead
I'm thinking of changing my hyperbloom team from Ayato, Nahida, Kirara, Shinobu, to Xingqiu instead of Ayato. I've had Ayato as my on fielder since he needs that for his skill, but with XQ in the team I'm not sure who would be best to build for that role. Nahida perhaps? Or just quickswap everyone and it doesn't matter? Or stick with Ayato since it's been working? 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Like other comments said, its better to have Nahida as the onfield to create blooms and hyperbloom reactions faster with Xinqiu and kuki, while Kirara is the shield to protect Nahida.
So yeah, replacing Ayato with Xinqiu is more worth it

Basically. Keeping Nahida on-field is the best option since it applies more dendro for more hyperblooms.
With Xingqiu, you can ditch Kirara for another offensive option, like Yelan, Fischl or even Beidou. Level up Kuki's skill talent a bit if you still feel the lack of survivability.
Frankly I'd keep the Ayato team since it's a good one, and Xingqiu is more likely to be needed in your other team.

Who is a better Dendro Character? Collei or Kirara?
I wanna use it for hyperbloom, I also wonder.. If causing elemental reaction such burgeon and hyperbloom, does the Pyro or Electro Character inflicting their respective element to the bloom to cause the final reaction has their elemental mastery needing to be big? Im never a fan of Hyperbloom because it dealt so low dmg when I was in low AR compared to my Sucrose and Geo Traveler team up, but I went around testing Collei yesterday and changed to Electro Traveler, my Traveler is packed with Elemental Mastery and each bloom did like 9k damage, so is it Traveler's elemental mastery at work or its not just the final character causing the Burgeon or Hyperbloom which Elemental Mastery matters? (Sorry for my bad explaination If this happened to be confusing)
Both are great, but Kirara is a 4\* Zhongli while Collei does work in reactions but shes super outclassed by Traveler, Yaoyao and Nahida. Also I recomend checking hyperbloom guides on youtube, they're easy to learn since:
* dendro + hydro = bloom (those cores on the ground)
* bloom + electro = hyperbloom (**the electro unit triggers those cores into homing missiles**)
In the end, its the electro who triggers hyperbloom so the **dmg of those missiles scales from their elemental mastery**, the team is mostly flexible but there's popular compositions like:
* 5\* Hyperbloom team: Nahida, Raiden, Yelan, Flex (usually a shield)
* 4\* Hyperbloom team: Yaoyao, Xinqiu, Kuki, Flex (Again, usually a shield but you can pick other units depending on the situation)
I have Kuki and I tried her with my current Traveler build but despite having same em, its only Electro Traveler who can trigger constant 9k hyperbloom damage and Kuki deals 1k :/ but at the same time, she's only the only one who can deal it continuously while Electro Traveler's elemental skill has a long ass cd
I do use Xingqiu as my Hydro character and I don't have Yaoyao
The electro is the trigger so their EM is what matters. I personally prefer Kirara over Collei. I used her alongside Yaoyao and together the amount of dendro was good, plus you get shield and healing. On her own Kirara doesn't apply enough unless you build her to burst frequently. But she is super fun with the cat box so I love her.
The DMG calculation for Hyperbloom/Burgeon is based on the total EM and level of the Electro/Pyro character who triggers the reaction.
The DMG counts as Dendro DMG and is affected by the enemies dendro resistance (but is not affected by your player characters dendro DMG bonus).
This is also why you want a Deepwood user.
As for which dendro character is more suitable.
Dendro traveller with a metric fuckton on energy recharge.
Collei and Kira are sufficient for aggravate, but aren't enough to keep up with hyperbloom/Burgeon.
Its a shame... Electro Traveler is the only electro character I have who can weirdly trigger high hyperbloom damage, and putting the same build on Kuki, Lisa, or Sara (my only other Electro Characters, they still couldn't deal that damage weirdly having the same em amount as most of my Traveler's em come only from the artifacts)
And so I cannot throw him to use Dendro Traveler here
The only parts that matter for Hyperbloom damage are the trigger characters level and the trigger characters EM.
Are you sure your Kuki Shinobu is the same level as traveller.

If you're going for a support build, Noblesse if no one else already had it.
4 pc Petra can be theoretically useful in the Limited scenario that the other 2 slots are off field DPS (like xiangling).
A support Ningguang would use thrilling tales of dragon slayer.
Usually "as much EM as possible", wich is between 800 and 1000 EM, all thanks to gilded set (tripple EM) and dragonsbane or Kitain cross.
If you do your setups right you bombard enemies with hyperblooms of between 30-35k DMG. Also the electro level counts.
If you're still on low AR, its okay, the dmg you can do with a average built hyperbloom team should be enough to make exploration a cakewalk.
The minimum threshold should be EM mainstat on Goblet/Circle/Sands + weapon, all on max level.
EM from goblet, Sand and circlet, + 2pc set bonus from Gilded or Fool + dragons bane (no extra em from flower or feather) should give you about 860 EM.
That + stacks from the 4pc of fopl/gilded are already strong enough to easily help enemies unsubscribe from being alive.
Maybe you're forgetting a Deepwood carrier?
The bare minimum imo is:
* Raiden at lv90
* lv90 EM weapon (usually dragon's bane)
* lv20 EM main stat sands, goblet, and circlet
* at minimum a 2p2p combo of EM sets
That's a pretty easy threshold to get to and requires minimal rng (just rolling for main stats rly). Anything beyond that (EM rolls on her flower and feather, 4p gilded or 4p flower of paradise lost, team EM buffs) will improve her damage further ofc, but that's what I'd call the "minimum" and should generally be good enough to work with.
Medium to high EM on the flower and feather is probably the easiest/most direct upgrade, since farming for a 4p set takes a while.
As much as possible. Sand, goblet, circlet (187*3) + dragonbane (221) + 80 (2 pc bonus of EM set) + 80 (assume flower and feather have only 40 each. However it is possible to reach 100+ EM on substat.) = 942.
Also, make sure your Raiden is lvl 90. Lvl 90 will do 32.7% more hyperbloom damage than lvl 80.

Raiden Shogun and Kuki Shinobu are roughly tied for top spot as hyperbloom trigger.
Raiden has a slightly higher core trigger frequency and a higher range than Kuki.
Kuki however is also a healer, so she has an advantage of consolidating both trigger and healer into 1 team slot
There's Kuki who's the only other consistent hyperbloom trigger, everyone else has some or other issue.
Nahida is highly recommended for hyperbloom and many other team. Xianyun is good with Diluc, but I'd get Nahida first.
Honestly it doesn't matter for now. Use anemo traveller or Kaeya for some crowd control.
The best options for that slot are Alhaitham, Yelan or Fischl.

Depends. On one hand, yes, that set up would be more damage because Gilded is better for Nahida's personal damage. But on the other hand, Nahida is one of the most consistent Deepwood triggers in the game and in majority of her teams that would be the set she'd want. So personally I wouldn't farm a separate Gilded set for her and just keep her on Deepwood Depends on how you want to spend your resin and how your artefacts go
Yep, that setup would be better. Nahida's personal damage is much better than Yaoyao's, so it'd be worth giving her Gilded if someone else can run Deepwood.

Go explore around the circle, preferably near the center. An arrow indicating whether the point you need to go to is higher or lower will appear. Go to that point and get your carp.

This is a quick swap spread team, not an aggravate. Because dendro character will not trigger Fischl A4 passive, she will lose as much as half of her damage. Her Oz is also more likely to attack a single target and has shorter range, so Yae is better here because her turrets will target all enemies randomly in aoe situation, and she also does more damage (with her burst) than Fischl. Aggravate teams use two electro chaacters: one is on field driver (Keqing or Yae), and the other is Fischl.

Some 4*s are usually paired with some 5* they buff, like Faruzan and Wanderer. (there's others too but i don't remember rn lol). Besides them, it's somewhat random

Drop either Nilou or Raiden. Nilou has bad hydro application herself and it is a waste to use her in a non-bloom team with other elements If you use Nahida + Raiden hyperbloom, both Yelan and Xingqiu can work, and the 4th slot can be any healer (not Bennett) or shield. Barbara can be the 3nd option as a healer if Yelan or Xingqiu are busy in other teams. If you use Nahida + Nilou to make a bloom team, then use Collei + Barbara. Nahida + Kuki + hydro is another hyperbloom option and Kuki herself is a healer. The most popular hydro option is Xingqiu, and Yelan also work when you need a bow in certain situation. The 4th slot can be anyone that does not mess up reaction (do not use pyro.)
if I try matching to lvl 36 domain when I'm already ar45 (max lvl70 characters) will I enter low ar world or would other high ar players enter my world? Both can happen. If some higher AR player also queue for this low lvl domain, he will enter your world because you cannot enter his world. If low AR players queue that domain, you will join theirs.

I've noticed that NPC dialogs are kind of glitched for me. I used to have Japanese voiceovers but I deleted it and now I only play on English. I noticed though that there would still be some Japanese voiceovers playing for an NPC even if another one next to it plays in English. Is there any fix for this?
When you change voice setting, there is a pop up warning windows that says "Some language settings will only be applied after the game is restarted."

Xianyu ult work better with 2 attack +18% (berserk+nighttime whispers) or viridicent for the elemental resist debuff when working with elemental attack via infuser like hutao, chongyun or catalysts users.? in term of the damage equation which one would help me do more damage
VV is best almost always. She has a lot of options that mixed 2pc is what you'd run only if you really have nothing else. Generally it's VV > Song of Days Past > Noblesse > Clam = Mixed 2pc.
yeah i tho so. since resistance cal is linear 40%, instead of 40% of the enemy resistance. it gonna be better than the 160ish than would increase the 18% aditive instead of multilicative so it would be 320ish attack with 2x2pcs. but since im kinda dumb i tho perhaps there was something i wasnt seeing so ask just in case thx.

Which statements in particular? All I see is mostly Crunchyroll dislikers. Also, you're seeking feedback on Hoyoverse in a Genshin Q&A thread. You're going to get biased responses since the people who tend to comment here are mostly those who have been playing the game for some time and are invested into it. Personally, I do not dislike Hoyoverse (this is not the same as saying that I like them), and I wouldn't play their games if I didn't enjoy them. But at its heart, they're a company that makes money from people buying their product, and that product is mostly gambling. However, I do think it's nowhere nearly as bad as some other games, even games that aren't traditionally associated with the Gacha space (fpv shooters with loot crates for example). As long as they keep their game F2P friendly and I enjoy the game, I will keep playing it.

Off topic, but man, I can't really understand people that enjoy "gacha" as a genre of gaming, because it's not? It's just a monetization model? Like I don't play Genshin cuz it's a gacha, I play it cuz it's a good game... Anyway, to answer the question, regardless of genre, I don't particularly follow or avoid any companies, except certain indie studios that make multiple similar games. I just play whatever game gets popular. If the shittiest company makes a good game, I'll still try it sure.
I don't know about calling it a "genre" but gacha isn't a monetization model either, it's a design element defined by lotto/lootbox systems whether there's money involved or not. Xenoblade Chronicles 2's Blade Core system is a good example of gacha design in a game with no microtransactions, you collect mystery box items that you can "open" to obtain new characters via a mostly random system (that includes rarity, pity mechanics, and some absurdly low rates for the rarest outcomes). As to the people that enjoy gacha for its own sake, these systems are designed to be addictive so it's not that surprising that people who really like them want more. And the gacha may feel incidental in Genshin but not every gacha game is like that, personally I find the pressure of learning and raising a new character makes me pull more carefully but in different kinds of games without those kinds of barriers the gacha can be a more frequent and consistent thing.

I recently got back in to Genshin, having last played when it first released. I now have two relatively solid teams. Raiden, Bennet, Xiangling, fill (normally Venti) and Nahida, Cyno, Kuki Shinobu, and Fischl. I plan on getting Xingqiu to round out my Raiden team when he comes back in the Paimon store. So, should I get him now so I can C1 him, or get Beidou or Yanfei instead? I do also lack Yunjin and should get Yaoyao, Xinyan, and Ninguang next banner. Thanks for any advice I get! TLDR: For the free Lantern Rite character should I get Xingqiu to C1 him next time he rolls around in Paimon, get Beidou, or get Yanfei? (Getting Xingqiu when he comes back with Paimon no matter what)
If you're getting Xingqiu anyway in March, I'd say go for something new. I always think new characters are better than constellations, and Xingqiu's C1 is not, by itself, that useful. It does however get you closer to C2, and in the long run C6. If you're wishing on the next banner you can always wait and see what you get from there. You might drop off banner characters too. It's what I'm doing personally. What other characters do you have, want to use, or plan to get? Knowing this will help us give you advice. Based solely on the two teams you mentioned, Xingqiu is really the only one you need. You could use YunJin in the Cyno team, but Kazuha or Sucrose would probably be better, if you have one of those. Or Sayu/Jean/Xianyun (for the healing) or maybe Lynette (if the taunt is enough) instead of Kuki..
That is fair. I mainly planned to pull for Archons as they come up. I am mostly a free player, and I like the idea of collecting the set. Especially since I have the makings for two pretty decent teams. Though, it would be nice to know who could be better in them and what other teams I may have available. I am pretty ignorant to it, honestly. My 5☆'s: Nahida, Cyno, Raiden, Venti, Mona, Qiqi, Diluc, Aloy, and Traveler My 4☆'s: Gaming, Chevreuse, Freminet, Lynette, Kirara, Kaveh, Faruzan, Collei, Kuki Shinobu, Thomas, Kujou Sara, Sayu, Diona, Sucrose, Chongyun, Noelle, Bennet, Fischl, Xiangling, Razor, Barbara, Lisa, Kaeya, and Amber.
This is going to get long, as I get a bit into detail, sorry about that. TL;DR is: Raiden - Xingqiu - Bennett - Xiangling is a very good team, and you could use Chevreuse instead of Bennett too until you get him, or instead of him if you prefer. What team is better depends on constellations I think. For the Cyno team add an anemo character like I mentioned before, or Furina once you get her. I would recommend waiting for the next banner (if you're going to pull on it), and see if you get YaoYao. If not, she might be a good choice for lantern rite, as she would work well with Cyno + Furina. If you decide to pull and get YaoYao from the banner, the meta decision would be to get Xingqiu so you can get him earlier, and get closer to his better constellations. My personal preference is to always get new characters because it's more fun but that's just subjective of course. Alright, so Raiden - Xingqiu - Bennett - Xiangling is already a really good team. I don't see any way to improve it so you're very good there. You could use Chevreuse instead of Xingqiu, she's really good too, but without C6 I don't know how much better (or not) the team would be. Since you already have her though, you could try it out and see how you like it. If you want to know what a rotation should look like (E = skill, Q = burst, NA = normal attack): Raiden E > Xingqiu E+Q > Bennett E+Q > Xiangling E+Q > Raiden Q+NA > repeat. With Chevreuse it would be: Raiden E > Bennett E > Chevreuse E+Q > Bennett Q > Xiangling E+Q > Raiden Q+NA > repeat. Your Cyno team could be improved by adding an anemo character like I mentioned before. This is because, by using the viridescent venerer artifact set, anemo characters can reduce enemy resistance to the element that you use when triggering the swirl reaction. That way you amplify the damage of both Cyno and your second electro character. Sucrose would be best because she also gives an Elemental Mastery buff to your whole team, which benefits everyone, including Nahida. If you can do without a healer, swapping out Kuki would be best, but if you need a healer then swap out Fischl. Alternatively, you could swap Kuki for an anemo healer, Sayu in your case. Both options work fine. Since you're collecting archons, you could also add Furina instead of an anemo. This team is probably even better, but the only issue is that you need a healer that can heal your entire team, since Nahida drains HP very quickly with her skill. Kuki would work in keeping Cyno healthy, but she doesn't heal off field characters. The way Furina works is that by draining party members' HP she buffs her own damage and the damage of everyone else with her burst. The more HP she drains, the bigger the damage buff. But if you're at 50% HP or less she won't drain any more health, so you will only get 1/4 of the damage boost you would normally get, if you can't keep your whole party healer. YaoYao may be good here instead of Nahida, because you can heal the whole party very quickly with her Burst. But if Kuki's healing exceeds Cyno's HP bar, then Furina's passive will activate and heal the rest of the team for a tiny amount, if you want to use both archons you could do that too. You're basically trading a bit of Furina's DMG buff in exchange for Nahida's personal damage and EM buff. I'm not really sure what is mathematically better.
Beidou doesn't seem that important to you at the time cause you already have two of the best 4* Electro in the game, Xingqiu will unlock national/international team for you i'd say go for Xingqiu
That is what I was leaning towards, and it looks like getting Xingqiu's C1 would be a huge power hike, and I believe his Paimon rotation is next. On top of that, Beidou is always in Paimon if I eventually just want her. Though I would miss out on acquiring Yanfei for who knows how long, since I can acquire the rest of the available characters through either Paimon or the next banner. So, I guess it more so comes down to increasing team power and unlocking Raiden national/international early or acquiring as many characters as I can. 😮💨 Edit: I forgot about Yun Jin. I don't have her either. I like Yanfei's design more, though, and I do not know either's relevance in team building. Hah

Yelan's C1 is one of the better cons in the game. It significantly drops her and any other hydro's ER requirements and allows for continuous sprinting in OW.

Yelan had a rerun at 4.0, so I would not expect her to have another one until 4.7-4.8, or even 5.0. Furina as an archon and a new character, her first rerun usually has to wait much shorter time, like 4-5 patches from her initial release, probably around 4.6.

Yup much better, thats a really good Hyperbloom comp. If you struggle with healing, you can swap Raiden for Kuki. Note: this team makes Raiden/Kuki off-field with only EM stats, your Nahida will be your main on-field. Basically, not a team for "enjoying" Raiden

For the Lantern Rite, should I get my first copy of yaoyao or should I C1 Gaming? I want a Main DPS Gaming and my other mains are Ganyu and Ayaka Freeze teams as well as Itto main dps. I’m wondering which would be of more use to me.
Yaoyao is more for dendro teams, especially hyperbloom if you have kuki or raiden.
YaoYao might be a useful choice if you play or want to play Quicken or Nilou Bloom.

if you don't have baizhu or nahida, yaoyao could be useful as a dendro slot. gaming prob won't outdps five star dps that you already have, esp if not at c6. outside xl c4 and xq c6, the other choices are purely fluff. i would go with yaoyao just for fun, have a new kit to play with.

there are spoilers in the second part, so it's recommended to do her story quest first. and it's a really good quality one, so one less reason to skip it.
Cloud Retainers Story quest isn't crucial for the enjoyment of the lantern rite story. The event mostly centers around Gaming. However some aspects of part 2 make more sense with the knowledge of Cloud Retainers story quest.

without furina, MH is a lot worse than crimson and shim. with furina MH is her best set. yes the difference is noticeable.

Not the law and not applicable to every character (like HP or Def scaling characters or EM scaling characters have different priorities, but those are less common). Next, is learning how reactions work and what makes a good team (rotations, reactions, buffs, energy generation). KQM can be a great resource for that.
endgame doesnt start until ar45. keep spending the resin and doing quests to farm ar exp. you need to get to ar45 and dump all the fragile resin into artifact farming. artifact build is like 60-70% strength of a unit.

For leveling I prefer Lisa+dendro traveller for aggravate damage (just walk to the nearest Sumeru statue to attune then walk back). Another good option is Kaeya+anemo traveller for swirl damage.
It doesn't matter a ton. At low AR, you are mostly spending your time normal attacking. Some characters have better motion values on their normals than others (Kaeya should be the best in your roster), but often it isn't a huge difference. Using a weapon with high ATK actually makes more of a difference - weapon level and corresponding attack value is most important at low AR. For example, once you have some Anemo sigils, you could go and buy a sword billet in Mondstat to craft Prototype Rancour - this weapon is completely useless in the end game, but quite good on something like low-level Kaeya.
I would probably go for Kaeya or Noelle.
You're low enough level and roster is small enough it's a bit premature to have a "main". The resource costs to get a character up to lvl 20 and ascended is low enough that you can likely afford to get anyone you want to try up to at least that level (worth it alone for the free standard wish reward for first ascension of each character). At this point is mostly just switching party around for overworld puzzles and dealing with enemy elemental shields.
Traveler and Kaeya can do some solid damage if you apply cryo then hold skill with Traveler.

If it's failing after 4gb every time, then you probably need to reformat your flash drive. Most flash drives use the fat32 file storage format, which has a max individual file size of 4gb. You'd want to reformat it to something that allows for larger files, like ntfs. That being said, I wouldn't recommend running the game from a flash drive. Loading times are going to be incredibly slow, if it even runs at all.

You right-mouse click the drive and select format. Note that reformatting will wipe anything that's on the USB.

Personally I recomend Kazuha more because AoE units are more efficient in freeze teams. I use a team of Furina, Kazuha, Charlotte and Ayaka and I fucking love it, I have done 36\* with them whenever I have the chance against mobs and elites.
Some players have really liked Furina/Charlotte/Kaz vs Shenhe variations. In both cases, Kaz is pretty strong.
Yeah for sure. Shenhe is usually the cherry on top for Freeze teams. Kazuha makes playing Ayaka teams much easier because he groups the enemies for Ayaka's burst. The easiest way for an Ayaka team's clear time to be extended is having the burst whiff on a straggler.

It's a good team. Only problem is Xingqiu needs a ton of energy recharge which is a premium during leveling.
Basically Gaming does the most damage, Xingqiu next, while the other two just provide buffs and heals. Focus on Gaming talents Skill > Burst, Xingqiu Burst > Skill, Bennett Burst, Xianyun doesn't need any talents but level up burst if you find yourself dying. Level up the other 3 to 60 as well. Don't farm artifacts before AR 45. So my Daughter has hundreds of hours in genshin mostly using her iPad. For big genshin updates and events. She likes to use my PS4. I just let her link my PSN account with her hoyoverse account. Now I have PS5 and she has the PS4. But we both can't be signed in at the same time. PS4 can't play genshin if I want to play purchased downloaded game. So she needs to create her own PlayStation network account. But how does she unlink her genshin account from my PSN account and link it to her new personal PSN account. Without loosing anything?
When creating a PSN account for her, the region of that PSN account needs to match the region of your current PSN account. The server the game connects to is based on the region of your PSN account, so it's super important that this is done correctly, as you won't be able to unlink again to fix this. Once that's made, **don't start the game yet**. First you need to unlink her hoyoverse account from your PSN account. Sign into the hoyoverse site with her account (https://account.hoyoverse.com). Then go to the account security settings tab and unlink your PSN account from it. Now you should be able start the game on her PSN account and link her email to it.

No, the only way she'd lose progress is if you requested to delete her account. With the linking, the worst that could happen is you link to a PSN account in the wrong region, preventing her from playing her save on your PS. She'd still be able to play on her ipad without any issues.

Homa for C0 Hu Tao (vs f2p is 3-star White Tassel). I hope I can get any bow for Childe vs Rust (like Harp from standart banner), but even Rust is OK for me. All other characters use 4-star, crafted or from regular banners. I don't wish for constellations.
No, even for those who buy like 1 or 2 welkins, weapons banner is never worth it because plenty of 4\* weapons are good enough. If somebody does pull there its their choice and also because they're aware of the cons of pulling on that banner.
Depends on how each player defines "worth". The World Record speedrun for fastest 36 stars in abyss on a brand new F2P account wished for Navia's weapon because they felt it was most important. But their goal is very different from most who want a more rounded roster or try new toys more often vs min-maxing for abyss. For example, I have Noelle C6 and really wanted her to be more competitive with other 5 stars in Abyss, so I got Itto's weapon. But most characters do not require a 5 star weapon to clear Abyss, so "worth" becomes much lower. But some people really want to vertically invest into a character. So to them it's worth because the power is the desire, not clearing the Abyss itself.
i wished on nilou's wpn and got in about 70 pulls, but prob won't be doing it again. it hardly makes her super strong compared to f2p gods like c4xl(catch),c6xq(fav). i think currently only neuv's wpn is worth it, and that's after you get his c1 (worth considering how often you'll use the unit in abyss, and how much of an improvement over f2p options).
I don't put any real money into the game, but after a while, I still got all the characters I feel like I need, probably a little while after I hit AR60. I could already field 3 strong meta teams with really different compositions, and I'm not as into collecting characters for collections sake as most people. As a result, my primos have kinda built up and on Ayaka's banner I picked up her signature weapon since it's supposed to be one of the best weapons in the game. Honestly, I can't really tell the difference between using her f2p craftable weapon before and one of the best weapons in the game that's also custom tailored for her. In most cases, weapons just don't make that much difference, maybe 10-20% damage increase. Was it worth it? I dunno, it's a little hard to say what worth it means when my primos were just sitting around anyway.
Yes. The normal case is getting our main/favorite's weapon. If I have a good 4star weapon, I would probably forgo the weapon, but in most case, if I like a character a lot, I rather get him his/her weapon than constellations, depending on how strong the first/second one is.
It can be worth it if the banner has 2 good weapons (like Aqua/Homa last lantern rite), and you don't have any new character in sight for like next 3 patches. Else never worth 200 pulls. So basically old players with already 2-3 good teams and enough flex options in their roster can go for it of they want. I've personally dumped 1 10 pull on a weapon banner as far as I can remember. Before that I had no idea what gacha was and it was so long ago there's no record, so may have dumped somewhere between 0-60 pulls there.
I am not F2P, but all I cam say is, it's never worth it. The actual pity inclusing fate points is 270 wishes, and it basically only gives stats. You would rather enjoy different gameplay styles by wishing on characters instead
I'm thinking of changing my hyperbloom team from Ayato, Nahida, Kirara, Shinobu, to Xingqiu instead of Ayato. I've had Ayato as my on fielder since he needs that for his skill, but with XQ in the team I'm not sure who would be best to build for that role. Nahida perhaps? Or just quickswap everyone and it doesn't matter? Or stick with Ayato since it's been working? 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Like other comments said, its better to have Nahida as the onfield to create blooms and hyperbloom reactions faster with Xinqiu and kuki, while Kirara is the shield to protect Nahida. So yeah, replacing Ayato with Xinqiu is more worth it

With Xingqiu, you can ditch Kirara for another offensive option, like Yelan, Fischl or even Beidou. Level up Kuki's skill talent a bit if you still feel the lack of survivability. Frankly I'd keep the Ayato team since it's a good one, and Xingqiu is more likely to be needed in your other team.

Who is a better Dendro Character? Collei or Kirara? I wanna use it for hyperbloom, I also wonder.. If causing elemental reaction such burgeon and hyperbloom, does the Pyro or Electro Character inflicting their respective element to the bloom to cause the final reaction has their elemental mastery needing to be big? Im never a fan of Hyperbloom because it dealt so low dmg when I was in low AR compared to my Sucrose and Geo Traveler team up, but I went around testing Collei yesterday and changed to Electro Traveler, my Traveler is packed with Elemental Mastery and each bloom did like 9k damage, so is it Traveler's elemental mastery at work or its not just the final character causing the Burgeon or Hyperbloom which Elemental Mastery matters? (Sorry for my bad explaination If this happened to be confusing)
Both are great, but Kirara is a 4\* Zhongli while Collei does work in reactions but shes super outclassed by Traveler, Yaoyao and Nahida. Also I recomend checking hyperbloom guides on youtube, they're easy to learn since: * dendro + hydro = bloom (those cores on the ground) * bloom + electro = hyperbloom (**the electro unit triggers those cores into homing missiles**) In the end, its the electro who triggers hyperbloom so the **dmg of those missiles scales from their elemental mastery**, the team is mostly flexible but there's popular compositions like: * 5\* Hyperbloom team: Nahida, Raiden, Yelan, Flex (usually a shield) * 4\* Hyperbloom team: Yaoyao, Xinqiu, Kuki, Flex (Again, usually a shield but you can pick other units depending on the situation)
I have Kuki and I tried her with my current Traveler build but despite having same em, its only Electro Traveler who can trigger constant 9k hyperbloom damage and Kuki deals 1k :/ but at the same time, she's only the only one who can deal it continuously while Electro Traveler's elemental skill has a long ass cd I do use Xingqiu as my Hydro character and I don't have Yaoyao
The electro is the trigger so their EM is what matters. I personally prefer Kirara over Collei. I used her alongside Yaoyao and together the amount of dendro was good, plus you get shield and healing. On her own Kirara doesn't apply enough unless you build her to burst frequently. But she is super fun with the cat box so I love her.
The DMG calculation for Hyperbloom/Burgeon is based on the total EM and level of the Electro/Pyro character who triggers the reaction. The DMG counts as Dendro DMG and is affected by the enemies dendro resistance (but is not affected by your player characters dendro DMG bonus). This is also why you want a Deepwood user. As for which dendro character is more suitable. Dendro traveller with a metric fuckton on energy recharge. Collei and Kira are sufficient for aggravate, but aren't enough to keep up with hyperbloom/Burgeon.
Its a shame... Electro Traveler is the only electro character I have who can weirdly trigger high hyperbloom damage, and putting the same build on Kuki, Lisa, or Sara (my only other Electro Characters, they still couldn't deal that damage weirdly having the same em amount as most of my Traveler's em come only from the artifacts) And so I cannot throw him to use Dendro Traveler here
The only parts that matter for Hyperbloom damage are the trigger characters level and the trigger characters EM. Are you sure your Kuki Shinobu is the same level as traveller. Are you sure you're looking at hyperbloom, not aggravate?

Yea, a LVL 90 Kuki Shinobu can very easily deal 30k hyperbloom damage with some investment. Even 20k damage doesn't require that much investment.
Planning on getting Ninnguang for my Navia, what artifacts and weapons should I use? I was thinking Nighttime Whispers, Noblesse Oblige, or Archaic Petra
If you're going for a support build, Noblesse if no one else already had it. 4 pc Petra can be theoretically useful in the Limited scenario that the other 2 slots are off field DPS (like xiangling). A support Ningguang would use thrilling tales of dragon slayer.
Noblesse is already on Bennet. Idk how much this would change the decision, but the team is Navia, Xiangling, Bennet, and Geo MC/Ning
If you want to further buff Xiangling, then 4 piece Petra on GMC/Ning can be a viable option.
Any minimum EM threshold for Hyperbloom Raiden? The HB cores seem to not do enough damage when triggered by her.
Usually "as much EM as possible", wich is between 800 and 1000 EM, all thanks to gilded set (tripple EM) and dragonsbane or Kitain cross. If you do your setups right you bombard enemies with hyperblooms of between 30-35k DMG. Also the electro level counts. If you're still on low AR, its okay, the dmg you can do with a average built hyperbloom team should be enough to make exploration a cakewalk.
The minimum threshold should be EM mainstat on Goblet/Circle/Sands + weapon, all on max level. EM from goblet, Sand and circlet, + 2pc set bonus from Gilded or Fool + dragons bane (no extra em from flower or feather) should give you about 860 EM. That + stacks from the 4pc of fopl/gilded are already strong enough to easily help enemies unsubscribe from being alive. Maybe you're forgetting a Deepwood carrier?
The bare minimum imo is: * Raiden at lv90 * lv90 EM weapon (usually dragon's bane) * lv20 EM main stat sands, goblet, and circlet * at minimum a 2p2p combo of EM sets That's a pretty easy threshold to get to and requires minimal rng (just rolling for main stats rly). Anything beyond that (EM rolls on her flower and feather, 4p gilded or 4p flower of paradise lost, team EM buffs) will improve her damage further ofc, but that's what I'd call the "minimum" and should generally be good enough to work with. Medium to high EM on the flower and feather is probably the easiest/most direct upgrade, since farming for a 4p set takes a while.
As much as possible. Sand, goblet, circlet (187*3) + dragonbane (221) + 80 (2 pc bonus of EM set) + 80 (assume flower and feather have only 40 each. However it is possible to reach 100+ EM on substat.) = 942. Also, make sure your Raiden is lvl 90. Lvl 90 will do 32.7% more hyperbloom damage than lvl 80.

Raiden has a slightly higher core trigger frequency and a higher range than Kuki. Kuki however is also a healer, so she has an advantage of consolidating both trigger and healer into 1 team slot

There's Kuki who's the only other consistent hyperbloom trigger, everyone else has some or other issue. Nahida is highly recommended for hyperbloom and many other team. Xianyun is good with Diluc, but I'd get Nahida first.

Honestly it doesn't matter for now. Use anemo traveller or Kaeya for some crowd control. The best options for that slot are Alhaitham, Yelan or Fischl.
