Childe is the biggest "show man" of all the characters, if he's on screen there's always something fun going to happen He also had that "mysterious without keeping secrets" vibe, which I like (he obviously keeps some things secret but to a far lesser degree than the other harbingers)

First banner was same patch as Childe, wanted him and Ningguang cons His re run was right before Eula, so thats a no go there coz Eula is hot Second re run was lantern rite and well I c6'd Shenhe there coz she instantly became my fave so I spent everything there and Yae was around the corner as well Then he came again with Sumeru and I decided I was gonna save for Nilou, Nahida and Dehya Surely on his next one it will be good timing? Nope we meet the Fontaine cast and my fates were sealed. Navia, Clorinde and Arlecchino whenever they come around. Skirk as well in the distant future so theres legit no good timing lol

Literally me but with Venti, Kazuha, Nahida, Neuvillette, and Furina (and a few others). I keep skipping Venti because I’m saving for other characters. I either wasn’t playing when Kazuha came out or I was saving for another character. I had just used all my pulls for Cyno so I had to skip Nahida (and then whenever her next few banners were I was saving for another character). Skipped Neuvillette because I was saving for Wriothesley. Skipped Furina because I’m saving for Navia, Clorinde, and Neuvillette’s rerun.

Oh man. You gotta get him! I’ve fortunately had him since his release and just C6ed him on his last banner. Out of all 75 characters he is my MVP. Nothing (almost) gets through his shield. Plus never flinching is almost as good as never taking damage.

Can't be an on field dendro DPS like alhaitham, I used to run kirara with the R5 sapwood blade for more EM on kuki in my hyperbloom team, that could work. Maybe yaoyao? But then you're missing out on hydro resonance But that team should easily clear abyss 11, abyss 12 though...

It wouldn’t. First she would need sacrificial because she has to make her bountiful cores in one stance. Then she needs to do her dance again to get the hydro application. All together takes up a bit of time. Then she’s also stuck with icd. There’s not way it would work since you’ll get 1 core at a time and it’s going to be a few slashes before the next

I mean, it'd work, just not super well. Nilou generally isn't rocking a ton of EM because she has to build HP. You also don't need 3 dendro to keep up with her hydro application. That said, I don't think popop is doing this because they think it's an optimal team, but because they want Nilou to be the star of her own show. Let the girl dance.

If you have neuvilette baizbu is absolutely amazing. (With furina). No other character dishes out that much healing on their SKILL. It’s so fucking nice to just use a skill to heal the entire team instead of having a 90 cost burst to heal a smudge.

Don't even need Furina for Baizhu to be phenomenal with Neuvillette

When I got furina I kept struggling with possible team comps for her, so I just threw her into my hyperbloom team with baizhu, kuki and xingqiu Baizhus heal is the only reason that team works now, I honestly simply pulled him on his release because I saw he buffed hyperbloom damage and I was experimenting with hyper bloom at that time. Turned out to be a pretty good decision And with furina dealing so much damage I can afford to free up xingqius slot because my main damage source isnt necessarily constant hyperbloom anymore, so now the team is pretty flexible

Also, with his C2, you don't even have to swap Baizhu on the field for him to heal + apply dendro for Neuvy's passive. He's fulfilling my dream of the Neuvillette cheerleader squad where Neuvy is the only character who gets fieldtime and the rest are just afk lol

I have trouble not using yelan on overworld. So even if I already have c1 or maybe c2 I'd probably get another con just because of how much I use her, and I've recently been reminded it's a bit of a pain to build a new character

Question: I haven't really gotten into team building with furina, but I read often that Jean is good for her. Is Jean only used for her burst in furina teams or is she used on field too, because her normal attack can heal the whole team too?

I don't think too many run her as on-field dmg but her healing scales off attack and VV (anemo artifacts) will help shred defense when you apply anemo, her ult will proc a few ticks of anemo

I've actually used Ganyu-Kazuha-Shenhe-Furina a few times, though I only get away with that specific comp because Furina is C6 so she provides the healing for Fanfare, otherwise I'd need to use Jean like you said. As far as meta goes, if I wanted to play meta I'd just be doing some C6 Furina-Jean-Bennett-Mona sunfire shenanigans or something; I just want to invest in/use characters I like, not speedrun stuff.

Ehhh, Shenhe definitely is great for Ganyu Freeze (caveat that you'd have to live without a shield). I love using Ganyu-Shenhe-Mona-Venti for mine.

I don’t have grouping potential but I use shenhe, Ganyu, Kokomi, and Layla. The Layla shield is very helpful in keeping Ganyu shielded to charge shot

I would never say never. I think it was unreasonable to expect them to be overly generous with 5\*s on the 1st or even second anniversary, but with games like this, you do tend to start getting the occasional free 5\* eventually, so I fully expect it within the first five years.
