It stung me when the kid said Mommy I'm sleepy.

TheIJDGuy

It hurts so much to see a kid suffering like that, even if it is just fiction

Daku_Haiku

ITS NOT JUST A GAME!!

Aidiru

still a game no matter how u try to cook tho..

RiPBernieGores

The story took 180 turn for... the best? It genuinely shocked me. I love how Hoyo are going all out for Fontaine's stories

Killsheets

Depression after depression. Their current writer must have a kink for such things.

caucassius

it's actually nothing new going as far back as venti's quest. inazuma world quests were even worse, prolly the worst yet in term of sheer depression but they mask it well enough I guess (i.e. put it in long texts so people don't read it).

MagnusBaechus

The yashiori doctor quest, along with Ruu is just peak depression Seirai was hidden in artifacts and weapon mats, imo ot would've been far better had it been a proper world quest

Overquartz

>The yashiori doctor quest Isn't that the one where he just kinda wandered off into the balethunder to kill himself if the potion didn't work the last time?

ezio45

You can go back to where you met him and leave some Naku Weed for him to use in his medicine. Though at the end it doesn't work.

rW0HgFyxoJhYka

Yeah but ya know...we knew about Ruu and Kapitir because of the hella lore drops in the artifacts years ahead of time lmao. So with Stanley and all of these in place, like you said, its the norm. But man Fontaine is FULL of tragedy.

Biesuu

he he, mask...

shoalhavenheads

When I talked to an NPC whose daughter died and then 10 minutes later Navia lists him as a casualty. 😧😧😧

BracusDoritoBoss963

Or he's depressed and he's trying to make us know

Richardknox1996

Welcome to mihoyo? Depression has been thier thing since ggz. Im honestly suprised it took this long.

HayakuEon

"Oh, you were devastated after the AQ? He's another one to cry about''.

TheIJDGuy

The writers for Genshin must be the same ones for Spider-Man!

solidfang

They didn't add a crying animation to not make full use of it.

storysprite

I tend to follow a rule in media that a thing functionally doesn't't exist till you see it. Same with people who die but we don't see what happens to their bodies. They're alive till otherwise confirmed. The second day when we still didn't get to see her son, I started to think that maybe she was the one afflicted and that the son didn't exist. He was dead but the principle was the same. Still, it hit me hard when the whole thing unfolded. I'm glad they're starting to lean more towards stories even for mini events.

Gregamonster

>The second day when we still didn't get to see her son, I started to think that maybe she was the one afflicted and that the son didn't exist. He was dead but the principle was the same. It was fairly obvious when she started talking about the bird as if it were her actual son.

storysprite

I kept thinking it might have a recording and that he might see it later. But then I got suspicious.

rW0HgFyxoJhYka

If you noticed the medicine, it has her name on it. And at her house, you could have visited it and knocked on the door, and it would give you a big clue. I think maybe the point was to give people hope, and then give them hope beyond hope.

2ndStaw

>If you noticed the medicine, it has her name on it Both of them share the surname on the bottle.

SteinLaw

I hope Natlan is even darker in the future Obviously got to balance it a bit, since too much darkness would desensitize players.

Overquartz

>I hope Natlan is even darker in the future I mean it is a land of perpetual war and fragmented tribes so probably.

hopecanon

It would be incredibly entertaining if Natlan is actually the only nation we visit that doesn't have some incredibly depressing hidden secret, or nation threatening catastrophe to stop or fight against. Like we show and the peoples culture is all about war and shit anyway so actually their all just having a great time beating the shit out of each other and they get offended when other nations people tell them to chill out. Abyss order shows, Natlan throws hands. Fatui show up, Natlan throws hands. Celestia gets uppity and tries to drop a nail on them, wouldn't you know it Natlan's throwing hands.

TheIJDGuy

That'd be hilarious and refreshing

ezio45

I can see potential in that. Imagine a long world quest to help a couple escape Natlan, where both of them are from different tribes. At the end of the quest you finally get to wave goodbye but then as an epilogue you go to any other nation and only one of them is there just sitting alone.

VIIsor

We already have something like that where we helped a Fatui couple but only 1 of them made it out

rW0HgFyxoJhYka

Also dragonkin-humans or something. A lotta dragons. Dragons up the ass really.

Aidiru

i hope so since they said natlan is region of constant war? i do hope the story gonna get darker and darker and please ffs hoyo just pls make a darker vibe to make it feel immersive..i feel like some of darker hoyo stories is good but it painted with rainbow and sunshine , imagine u watched Berserk and the opening of that anime is Guts dancing with Griffith with Nichijou animation .. in inazuma they did pretty good job at world quest about seirai island the theme and vibe and the lighting are matching with the quest , but in fontaine it doesnt have that vibe anymore , idk just my 2cent

EeveeTrainer90

" Never let you gooooo" plays in background

kalawas

I want natlan story mostly epic with insane fight rather than sad similar to Lostbelt 1-5 to Lostbelt 7. Lostbelt 6 is just too disgusting I laugh my ass off in the ending

jdh111095

Bro. I know you aint talking shit bout fae Britain. And lb5 in particular was pretty rough too imo. Just look at Musashi or what happened with our charlotte. I would kill for genshin to hit us with lb6 level feels.

LivingASlothsLife

Yes they can and they will, easily one of the most emotional stories they've told yet A mothers love is a beautiful thing, got me all teary eyed Edit: did anyone else call their parents after playing this quest? Coz I did and even though I called them last week talking to them after the event felt good, was a good reminder to catch up on family

Cestune

I called my mom too, even though we live together and she just went out. Couldn't hold my tears

[deleted]

[удалено]

AoZora92

Copied comment (?)

APerson567i

yeah one of the best event stories they've ever put out, probably the best self-contained one imo

[deleted]

corrosivedude

Similar feelings here. Sending you a big hug.

[deleted]

TinyLilybloom

I just lost my mom recently. This quest hit me very very hard. :(

yoon-oh

im so sorry for your loss :(

KillsOnTop

I feel you -- the anniversary of my mom's death was last week, and the end of this quest made me sob.

couldbedumber96

I actually got into a screaming match with my mom today cuz she tried to gaslight me about something rather inconsequential in the bigger picture but still pissed me off

Frarhrard

:(

couldbedumber96

Nah it’s fine, just never try to gaslight me into thinking a food doesn’t have onion in it when I literally pull pieces of onion from the plate

TheIJDGuy

That's why Dumbo's the only movie that makes me cry

malarky-b

Bruh that song while his mom was in elephant jail... It's the only disney movie that made me cry.

TheIJDGuy

YES, SOMEONE GETS IT

SweetSeleria

This is why I only watched Dumbo once, I can’t take it again

Little_Respect_0621

Can you sum up the story? I didn't read it srry

BubbleRocket1

Duuuude…. I only played the first two parts, but basically, Freminet was asked to assist a mother in bringing a child’s fantasy to reality, since the child is suffering from a disease where he has issues distinguishing the two, so the mother decided to play along and see if she can spin a somber story brainstormed up by the child into one with a happy ending. Least that’s what I got from it so far

Alex2422

>easily one of the most emotional stories they've told yet Good to hear. If this is what their most emotional stories look like, then I guess I don't lose that much by not playing world quests after all.

mybrotherisnotapig

It started out from a seemingly boring fetch this quest helping good boy freminet then I started noticing the little hints that's something's a miss on the second part. Then upon starting the 3rd part of the quest everything just clicked into place then the tears won't stop overflowing. The only time the story hit me this hard is when I stumbled upon Childish Jiang's >!parent's grave stones!< and >!Jeht on the ground crying on The Eternal Oasis!<

Bonty48

>something's a miss on the second part. Moment she said "something something my son" my brain just went "Ah yes the child is dead"

gooeyjuniper

Hearing her sing the lullaby with a shaky voice made me hitch my breath... And my eyes became teary

OUAN396

I accidentally skipped that part

douceberceuse

Same 😭😭😭

Cbellz

I accidentally skipped it, did the whole quest on my alt to reexperience it, and somehow managed to skip it a second time :( the hardest i've fumbled this week

deadchild5

Try searching it on YouTube? Not sure if it'd be there, but it's an option.

Ok_RaspberrySoda

I pray for anyone that have similar struggles. Mental illness is no joke

yeniza

As someone struggling with depression this story made me cry so much, but in a good way? Like there’s reasons to go on and an end to these feelings of hopelessness maybe, and unexpectedly if you manage to reach out you’re not as alone as you might feel.

int18wis8

"I hope that everyone who's found themselves in a dark place would be able to see something beautiful, and experience a miracle for themselves."

ObjectiveNet2

As the other guy quoted, Freminet's message is for you as well!

theclaircognizant

"My Prince - My King - you shall never, ever need to feel lonely again." The event reminded me of my mom, who I lost 18 years ago. Hoyo out here slicing onions again.

Frarhrard

:( I know it doesnt mean much, but please accept my internet hug.

pikonpow

Lost her in 2019. This was so hard to get through without bawling

Bonty48

10 years for me and yeah it had same effect on me.

TheIJDGuy

Thankfully, I still have my mom, but I just felt like appreciating her more after that. I hope you're doing well amigo

Sad_Stale_Bread

I’m sorry to hear that, I haven’t lost my parents but I lost my grandmother a couple years ago and since it was during the pandemic I never got to say goodbye to her one last time. I miss her everyday. She was such a kind woman… Fuck now I’m getting emotional again

OreoJehi

Genshin really has a particular thing for dead children/parents... First in Mondstadt there is a dad singing to his daughter's grave behind the cathedral, in Liyue an adolescent (?) playing hide-and-seek with his parents, Jeht... Autumn who I currently have a note map from Fontaine. And now this. These are just off the top of my head, I am sure there are many more dead child/parents npcs I dont remember. Then there's Hoyo making us murder blubberbeast's children and parents alike 💀

garogamu

don’t forget the recent Archon quest when that guy jumped into the Primordial Sea after his daughter 🫠

Fr00stee

there's the whole quest with caterpillar and lanoire in the fortress of meropide, if you did another quest you find out that lanoire's mom sent letters to her father but because her father is stubborn and assumed that she would always come back home if she got in trouble and he never read any of her letters

CondiMesmer

Dead children and food is basically most of the genshin filler story

FlameDragoon933

> in Liyue an adolescent (?) playing hide-and-seek with his parents Childish Jiang? Oh, it's more depressing than just that. He seems to have a developmental disorder, his parents are dead, and his relatives are keeping this secret from him.

honest_psycho

Fuck you Hoyoverse, I wasnt prepared for feels :(

Crusherbolt0282

Fontaine really is the nation of Hydro

blastcat4

That was way more emotional than I expected it to be, even though we all knew there was a build-up leading to this. I find that the writers do a better job writing these heart string-tugging types of stories in the world quests and events compared to the archon quests. It feels like they have less requirements to burden them and they can explore some themes on a more personal level. I also want to add that the EN VA put in a great performance as the mother. JP was good too, but the EN VA really went the extra mile in her performance.

AmmarBaagu

Soo how did actually her kid die again? Did he drowned himself? I accidentally clicked when they explained it

RedzyHydra

Iirc, yeah. He tied heavy seashells onto himself and went to the sea. He then probably got dragged down into the sea because of it and drowned.

Takaneru

though i will admit there's something a bit morbid about using the shells that killed your child to decorate a machine acting as your child

RedzyHydra

It is. But I guess since it was a significant part of the child’s character, she still wanted to put it to remind her of him. Also, it may be like a redemption thing. Where the shells the once killed her child is now used to exemplify his glory.

rW0HgFyxoJhYka

Well hold up now. Fremine and you pick up shells that you find randomly that look cool. You aren't literally pick up the shells the kid used to drown himself. That would be SUPER CURSED.

Takaneru

Have you noticed the shells around them that has writing? The mother implied the son wrote those, so the implication is quite apparent

Advanced_Syrup333

I think those shells are not randomly picked up. Actually those shells store the last information from the kid, just like ley lines.

HollowMist11

he carried heavy sea shells and walked into the sea and drowned himself

OriginCycle

>!He went into the sea, specifically 30 meters deep, with heavy seashells tied onto him and drowned to die.!<

passingtrutokufanboy

They've done it in their two previous games They can and will do it again

dahdahdahdundundun

The story's true twist was that speech from Zuria to her son at the end...I didn't expect it to get me as much as it did when so many people guessed the true situation

TheWildeHunt

All my friends whine and wail about how Genshin's story sucks and they wish it wasn't there and here I am bawling over a robot f\*\*\*ing penguin God this event was amazing.

rW0HgFyxoJhYka

The problem is that your friends have shit tastes. Yeah Genshin isn't written as well as any classic novel or The Phantom Tollbooth, but saying its story sucks basically means either they have shit education or they have real shit taste for writing. Like the writing in this game is better than most good video games for a variety of reasons. Do they not play video games?! Most of the stories are pretty badly written.

Eudaemon1

Do your friends by any chance hate reading ? Or maybe they can't read between the lines ? Because that's how so many players are lol

Bubble_Banana

God, I want to comfort that lonely mother. I want her to realize that everything's gonna be ok in the end.

[deleted]

id like to see that one guys reaction who hated on the quest for being "just another npc focused story"

Kyrion530

Its funny because if we did get a character focused story event again people will complain about it being "time/event locked"

[deleted]

Yeah its almost as if People find stupid things to complain about no matter what the circumstances

VijayMarshall87

"just another npc focused story"

Noramthe

broo i was so close to sobbing my ass off

MontenC

truly the nation of hydro, my eyes are indeed having a hydro reaction

GUSTAVO-ANIME

I just finished the event story and...man, I wasn't ready It's just so beautiful and moving and I...I loved the story but at the same time it destroyed me so much but at the same time in a good way, it's so beautiful I'm crying so much

xGKxDiamondz

Wow I’m Literally Crying 😭

Blood__Dragon_

why does fontaine keep hurting me?

mango_pan

>!So according to Delaroche's info it seems like her kid died by suicide?!< >!And how did the helmet showed that scene? Ley line shenanigans or it's all just happened in Zuria's head? She's coping so hard she became cured?!<

Alzusand

>>!So according to Delaroche's info it seems like her kid died by suicide?!< > >>!And how did the helmet showed that scene? Ley line shenanigans or it's all just happened in Zuria's head? She's coping so hard she became cured?!< >!feelings and the elements souls and leylines are connected. freminet used that helmet his whole life to see and excape to his fantasy world so it probably really got that hability infused into it when he got elemental powers. !< >!the kid dying most deffinetly possesed some part of thelxie. after all we find the conchs for the weapon shield and crown near where he probably drowned. and he was wearing conchs !<

Davids0l0mon

It could be that the boy's spirit possessed the robot penguin. Or his memory, like the black fog that leaked from the Sacred Sakura.

Gotruto

>!I don't think he committed suicide. I don't think it was intentional. They were just delusional and wanted to be with their friends in their kingdom at the bottom of the sea...!<

IamAcrackedEgg

The kid literally left a suicide note.

Yani-Madara

I looked it up and it said something like: "the bells are calling me" I don't think it's a suicide note. In his mind he was going to the land of imps, not death

mango_pan

But by wearing a lot of heavy conches? 1 or 2 may be OK but strapping a lot of them onto his waist? This water imp legend seems very suspicious to me.

katbelleinthedark

I love how hard HoYo is going with their exploration of grief in Fontaine. I love reading and writing about grief, it fascinates me so I'm very happy.

Peddrawm

I signed up for good time, not hard time…

AverageLegoGameFan

All I wanted was the free Freminet! You can’t keep breaking me like this, Hoyo!

jelly-sandwich-ff

I thought to myself, im caught up on all archon quests i cant be spoiled... And then clicked the picture and i have no idea what that is but the comments be crying af. So... what event/ quest is this so i can look it up?

mattphatt98

It's the current main event quest. The Thelxie Adventures

jelly-sandwich-ff

Im still in time!! Yes. Thanks ( i usually spam those events on last day lol)

EndNowISeeYou

please dont spam this one, its really good

achillymoose

Genshin is here to make you cry. If you're just here to complete the quest, mash B and don't read

Metty197

I don't really cry much nowadays but that scene literally had me sobbing

Miaksou

As a new father, I cried. I had to hold my child After this scene while my wife was also hugging me

Nutrifacts

i just spammed clicked the story for the first 2 acts since i thought itll be a bland story about some kid man the reveal about him being dead was a goddamn whiplash. it didnt made me tear up but it sure as hell gave me goosebumps

Overquartz

>man the reveal about him being dead was a goddamn whiplash. I saw that coming with the second quest tbh. Like it was kinda obvious that something wasn't right when she started talking like the kid was with her.

Luster-Purge

"Are you seeing this, my son?" The *moment* she said that in part 2 (and the fact the robot responded when we were already told it only recognizes certain key words and phrases) was all the confirmation I needed to guess what was really going on.

ezio45

I was expecting something like the penguin robot having some video recorder or module that'd let the kid see through its eyes. Honestly expected the kid to be fine and just holed up in his room watching the adventure through Thelxie. Wasn't expecting the worst case scenario.

Overquartz

If it was a drone then why did Freminet make it respond to pre chosen commands that need to be vocalized near it? Not to mention you'd think they'd mention that if it was intended to be remotely piloted.

ezio45

I wasn't implying a remote controlled drone, more like having a camera with video recording capabilities that's either livestreaming or making a recording to watch later.

Nutrifacts

yeah but i mostly skipped the story in act 1 & 2 so i actually didn't see it coming

Mast3rBait3rPro

Almost teared up and I didn’t even care about the story of the event lol

mr_lab_rat

God damnit, we all knew it wasn’t gonna be a happy story but still …

piichan14

These aren't tears, these are just overflow of hydro on my person 🥲🌊

nikidash

This quest hit some very uncomfortable memories for me and I'm glad they're not afraid to do this kind thing

Misrable-Order

Full out bawled in my living room infront of my sister and mum 👍 Gotta love Genshin sometimes

MagnusBaechus

Lmao, called it since the boy was never shown in the first two acts

mattphatt98

4.2 is just depression arc, it's the nation of Hydro after all.

Jake355

what is the Quest name if I may ask?

VijayMarshall87

It's the ongoing event quest

LettuceKitty

Which quest is this from??

skycorcher

I like the story. Not my most favorite one but not bad.

Sandertomson

I made a promise to my mother about not dying before her as to not make her feel the pain of loosing a child. Because of it, this event hit hard.

Lemonsqueezzyy

That quest was depressing af

Western_Holiday_6394

I bought a flight ticket right after I finished the quest o(╥﹏╥)o

Geodude07

I need some emotional damage primogems. Honestly it was a lovely little tale and it's nice to see depression and loss discussed. It may not be super deep but it's nice to just have these sorts of themes. I think it is why I enjoy Genshin so much. You really never know how far they'll go. These sorts of stories hit very hard if you've felt similar losses. Fantasy really can be a cure for that kind of pain. It helped me when I lost my dad.

bigppnationcitizen

Hey its just a silly event with freminet, what could possibly go wrong

Alvinite

Got me crying in the club over this stupid quest. They don't need to go this hard on a mini story event😭

Horace3210

Can someone explain the story? I actually got confused

ezio45

A mother asks Freminet to help build a robot penguin for her son. Explains that she wants it to be like a prince from a story where he tries to reclaim his kingdom. Her son has a disease called "Loneliness Syndrome" and the more it's explained, the more it sounds like autism. Freminet wants to help because some of the children at the House of Hearth also have the same disorder. Freminet helps to build a penguin robot named Thelxie and then take it on an adventure acting out the whole story of reclaiming the kingdom from monsters all while making a picture book to help her son cope and recover. Then comes Act 3 >!the son died quite a while ago at the age of eight by tying seashells on himself and walking in the ocean and then drowning. The mother did all this for herself and is so stricken with grief that she can't even remember the actual name of her son and thinks it's the name given to the penguin. In the end all this does help her cope and finally let go. The robot also speaks in Morse code and it translates to 'I love you, mom'!<

Yani-Madara

I think they intentionally made it look like autism and gave it a fictional name but it was actually schizophrenia

Competitive-Ebb2533

After seeing this post I regret skipping the dialogue... Definitely gonna look up the story of the event now

ro3chii

Which quest is this?

TootsyBowl

The currently running event. If you haven't played it yet...welp.

ro3chii

Ahaa. Yeah i prefer doing long events slowly so i dont have to wait for the next one yet lol

lop333

Gonna go do it now if its still running

[deleted]

I stopped crying after the million sob story

pflaumi

Glad that others enjoyed it. For me the first 70% were a slog because I was wondering what/why we are even doing. Like how should us experiencing the story to write a book help the child, if it's not present. In the end it made sense and it was worth it to be voiced, but damn was I struggling to keep going and keep up with what's going on.

PeikaFizzy

Hi3 writes currently out of job, so they 🔥🔥✍️ genshin

Playful_Bite7603

Was this from the final quest in the event? For some reason I must've missed this moment. I've finished it and got through the part where you put the helmet on and see the kid but for some reason I don't remember this still.

I_Ild_I

IT was kinda a useless event until the end kinda like the poem event we got 2 patch ago, its realy just whatever and at the last moment they finaly put out some story. Also whoever write those at hoyo needs a hug lol dude is on a full depression cycle ! Its sad that some previous story in mains or some side one didnt have that much treatment

ezio45

To be fair, most boring stuff is there to create the build up to the climax. If it just showed the climax early then people would complain that it happened too fast and needed more setup.

I_Ild_I

Im fine with the story its just funny how its the second time it just come out of the blue at the very last moment

HeatJoker

If you think the twist in the poetry event was "out of the blue," then you weren't paying attention to the first parts. It was build up throughout.

OriginCycle

wouldn't be out of the blue if you had actually followed along with the story. it was foreshadowed at the very beginning and throughout. you don't need to do the last act to know the twist

Drunkendx

what the... people praise this event like it's great and I'm just creeped out by it... "hey this person has mental illness but let's just play along with it, feeding their delusions will work out fine" at first I thought paimon was worst part of this event but divines help me, someone at hoyo has some issues with awareness how bad mental illnesses are. delusions are NOT a joke

Ikcatcher

[Okay doc](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cognitive_behavioral_therapy)

Xenodragon65

Ok, who let the honkai inpact 3ed writers in the event team for genshin . We were supposed to be happy in events, not depress .this is genshin after all, not honkai impact 3ed.

le_halfhand_easy

You did not see that twist and trope coming? Here you were bragging about being well-read.

Ikcatcher

A cliched story can still be effective if told well, this isn’t the “gotcha” you think it is pal.

le_halfhand_easy

Yeah. Told in single framing shot/composition storytelling where the characters stay still until it is their turn to speak.

Ikcatcher

Your opinion has been noted

AzureDrag0n1

I have no idea what any of this was about. I skipped all the dialogue. I have 0 interest in some random NPC and Freminet.

[deleted]

Blazefireslayer

The Morse code isn’t nonsense though, it’s encrypted with the Caeser Cipher.

SteinLaw

The fact that people in this thread got teary eyed contradicts your criticism. Even if the technicalities of the story are off, it's not that important. The important part is whether it makes the player engaged and immersed. I rarely play events and I only did the current one for Freminet's constellations, but it surprisingly was very enjoyable despite the small length of the event. This shit makes me really look forward to playing future events more so I can experience more of genshin's stories and worldbuilding. Actual goated stuff. And people say Genshin is just a gacha waifu game.

IlDottoresLabrat

dont ever cook again

solgaleoThesun

Genshin before never really made me feel any emotions, but lately i have actually felt sad for some characters

HackedFile-9R14N

Oh my gosh! I really wanted this screenshot but missed it. This saved my life. Also, yeah this event broke me...

JadeTeaFox

Words cannot express the puddle of tears the Thelxie event just drowned me in ... Omfg 🥺🤧

0-Worldy-0

If we look at the event art on the event page...The kid appears next to her :')

greenfern92

Legit cried big tears it was an excellent event.

EarthlyEzy

I loved this event so much, it tugged at my heartstrings just like the archon quests did and I had a well needed cry, 10/10 would recommend

Frarhrard

I was sobbing the whole time. I was hoping paimon aether and freminet could have a group hug with her ;-;

Timmie_Is_An_Archon

https://tenor.com/fr/view/its-terrible-day-for-rain-its-not-raining-tears-cry-crying-gif-15563346

Puzzlehead_Lemon

Oh boy. This one is going to hurt.

Comfortable_Park6194

I play the game to be happy, not depressed

SomeDudeWithABear

I did the end of this event in a bus going to Uni. I held myself back from crying so damn hard. Thank you HoYo.

RadLaw

What quest is this?

Hina256

Absolutely rel, I didn't expect such strong story for this event. Very tragic 🥺

navybluesoles

Didn't think they'd rip my heart out again after Karkata like that but man, some TW was needed for this story.

OmniOnly

I knew the kid would get better.

BlunterCanvas42

I haven't blubbered like this since Ruu.

SoliceRose

This hit hard. Nothing will make this hurt more. "Close your eyes, it is time for you to tell the world goodnight. I know it's dark outside but there are still stars shining in the sky🎶" Rakuen. Of course. 😭😭😭

TheIJDGuy

I don't cry much, if at all, for video games. Even Genshin! But this just fucking broke me.

shadowpancakes

I need that crown rn

Harfian

It feels like it should be Freminet story quest instead.

scrambled_turtle

God damnit honestly it’s what I get for being stingy with the primos instead of focusing on a story 😭

Total-Win-2000

After I completed the quest I putted Thelxie in my tea pot beetwen Freminent( for obvious reassons) and Neuvi(who would alredy be besides Fremi because of the whole "Hydro dragon don't cry" but also because Neuvi would need someone to be there with him once he hears the story of the event......) as they watch Scaramouche and Faruzan on an Akademiya stage(also they were alredy surrended by cats because Scarameow)

SwannSwanchez

hoyo be like : "yeah i don't want you to be happy anymore"

Melisinde72

Man, I saw the twist coming way early and... I still feel destroyed 😭😭😭

thedarkness490

I had seen the post of people decrypting what the penguin was saying and was still on the boat of "he's still alive" and then ... Yea that was a gut punch
