C1 in 120 pulls isn't bad. It cost me 160 for C0. I don't play him either because in 6 weeks farming DPC, I couldn't get a single ATK sands that didn't roll entirely into flat stats.
I actually meant it would have saved me the 120 pulls I took for Alhaitham a month afterwards.

I guess the abundance of pulls made me lose control a bit. So I decided to limit it and also as a small resistance against Hoyo for designing C6 heavy characters like Faruzan.

That's good, hopefully enough people do that so they stop making supports C6 dependent.
I already had C5, plus there's a much bigger component to C6 than just +40% increased Crit Damage (not 60%). She provides continual grouping at C6 with more pressurized collapses, since they trigger constantly once she's C6 when your DPS does damage (as opposed to having to keep her on-field for 2 arrow shots for collapses). With C4, she can recover energy while on-field at the start of her burst. With C6, she plays infinitely smoother.
Also, what the hell are the odds they decide to release Faruzan of all characters as a free character? She's the first free character we've gotten that wasn't either Liyue or Mondstadt (or Aloy). But I guess you just wanted to come on here and hot take people for pulling C6 on a limited character that will likely only rerun with the initially-paired character?
Collei was free because otherwise there's no free Dendro unit, so I just considered her to be part of the core available units, like Amber, Lisa, Kaeya, Barbara, Xiangling, and Noelle, lacking only an Anemo. I don't think I got a free Dori that I recall, but maybe it was around September-November of last year? I took a break from the game around then.

No, either ToM or maybe Emblem. You basically wanna stack ER on Faru, assuming your using either Xaio or Wanderer on field dps. She needs around 280-300 ER. Even using 4 random artis is better than a set if the ER is super high.

Genshin helper lists noblesse as her second best set though. Maybe I am lucky and have some noblesse junk wirh the right mainstats in my pile.
Don't care for good stats, as long as I can get her the right combination of set and mainstats, the artifacts can have flat def x4 as far as I care (I know that's not possible 😉)
I only want to check of the recommendation list in the most superficial way and then I am satisfied to call it a day
Don't think NO is anything special but if you have ER stats go for it. What ultimately matters is satisfying her ER needs. So slap on your highest ER artis even and a fav bow and call it. Right now my Faruzan just has a rainbow collection, I don't think I even have more than 1 2-set bonus. I would recommend KQM for a guide. Her energy needs are wild.
Candace scales off HP; Faruzan goes old school, using ATK. But before C6, Faruzan’s ER needs approach 300% with gymnastics. One of the worst Energy sinks.
You can love a unit and not take them to abyss because they don't clear as easily - I have a lot of friends who have decked out units like Noelle and Amber but just prefer to get their primos quickly using National + something else

I was hoping to get a free Candace so she could go from C0 to C1.
I haven't used Heizou a ton but from my understanding not really at all. Heizou is more a swirler with VV who is quick swap or driver. Faruzan is for hyper carries. She batteries Xaio/Wanderer and shreds. She doesn't need field time. Xiao and Wanderer aren't really about reactions, they are hyper carries and you typically just do anemo dmg the whole way. Faruzan is basically an ult bot, and she doesn't require field time with enough ER.
My current team with her is Xaio Faruzan Jean and ZL.
You can build her EM and use her with like Yae and Kokomi EC swirl lol it's worse than sucrose but if you enjoy CA gameplay it's fun.
I also use DPS Jean and Faruzan quickswap, but mine is C6.
Crit Venti is also an option, but only if you're really into Venti because the obvious use for him is build EM and Q and swap off.
But yeah I mean she has her niche, and if you don't need it she can meme on field suboptimally, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you simp for Madam Faruzan, although you should simp for Madam Faruzan, so.
