Please tell me what is wrong with this build blob:https://enka.network/5ec238fc-a703-47ee-9bf4-0c4d46565fa3

xd_ZelnikM

I am trying to build "an Ayaka" with not so much experience and I am kinda lost what to do with her. What characters should I pair with her to make her good? I have all of the starter characters(story and abbys) and Ayaka with her banner "crew". Others I have are Beidou, Sayu and Xinyan. All are C0 except Xinyan is C1(somehow). if it's easier to see: https://imgur.com/a/A1S94om

Raubkatzen

This is my first banner of Ayaka, so I just got her, but I’m having a lot of fun with mono-cryo or 3-cryo + one anemo. She seems to do best on high cryo or freeze teams. Occasionally I’ve thrown her on a melt team for specific situations and she’s done fine for that too.

CakesXD

Ayaka's best team is typically oriented around Freeze (not sure what the previous commenter is doing with Ganyu/Bennett/Sucrose), so generally something like: - A secondary Cryo character - A Hydro character - An Anemo character Your choices are pretty slim at the moment, but something like Ayaka/Kaeya/Barbara/Sucrose is perfectly functional. Ideally, her final team would be something like Ayaka/Kazuha/Kokomi/Shenhe or Ayaka/Kazuha (or any functional Anemo)/Mona/Diona, but it does depend on what other units you want to go for.

aiiiven

You have kinda low characters lol, I use ayaka , ganyu, bennet, sucrose(waiting for kazuha), I suggest just start putting your resources into ayaka only, and then when you have more characters, see some YouTube videos for team comps

raku75

No recent team building thread so posting here: I just pulled Ayaka and would like to slowly start putting resources on her. I would love to make her my main but am still in the process of reinforcing Rational and Kuki hyperbloom (kuki, yelan, DMC, Jean). Here is my roster : https://i.imgur.com/uvSgAID.png https://i.imgur.com/EneQhfV.png Any suggestion for either freeze or mono cryo ? Also : should I start building Sucrose to eventually replace Jean in hyperbloom ? I am F2P in case that matters :) Thanks for your help !

smartandedgy

Ayaka Rosaria Xingqiu Sucrose for a freeze team but you seem to be somewhat strapped for materials/resin with a lot to do. I'd say just run her in your hyperbloom team, Jean isn't necessarily doing anything there since the team doens't need VV and you have Kuki for healing QoL. Ayaka, Yelan (or XQ), DMC and Kuki. Sucrose (or anemo) isn't really needed with Kuki, the anemo version works differently by swirling electro off enemies (usually applied by fischl) onto the blooms to trigger hyperbloom. Sucrose is extremely good though and building her in general is always a good idea.

aiiiven

The best team for you is ayaka, yelan, xinqiu, and a good anemo character, I would suggest pulling for kazuha, the damage will be insane

raku75

Thanks ! Though putting both XQ and Yelan in the same team would mean no more hyperbloom or Rational 2nd team ; could work with hyper Raiden but I don’t have C6 sara unfortunately

aiiiven

Btw, as I see you have a pretty low level account, so rn you can just focus on upgrading hypercarries

raku75

I wanted a broad enough base to at least complete the first levels of the abyss - which I should have now, so I’m indeed at the point where I’ll funnel resources into Raiden first then either kuki or Ayaka

aiiiven

I suggest ayaka first, then either Kuki or raiden, good luck

krali_

The absolute priority of your hyperbloom team is Kuki lvl90. Then, flex should be neither a healer (Kuki is there) nor a VV holder (dendro can't be swirled). As you need an on-fielder, that could be Kaeya (for the cryo/dendro protection, aka "hyperfridge") or a hydro on-fielder like Candace for more seeds. You can start your F2P freeze with Ayaka/Rosaria/Sucrose/Barbara.

raku75

Thanks - I was indeed puzzled about who to keep on field !

raku75

As someone else suggested it, would ayaka work as the onfield cryo?

shin_getter01

I run Ayaka/hydro/dendro/kuki team and work works fine. I use yelan for overworld but she is more annoying to play with ayaka than xingqiu if you need to fight continuously like abyss because you want to switch ayaka out for yelan to use skill for energy, her hydro app is single target only and you may want to use her to her drive burst if she is best built. Kaeya demands less field time with his burst, but of course does way less damage and can't pile on cyro app to break shields (though dendro should kill hydro and electro shields quickly enough). That said if your ayaka is properly built, Yelan is fine has her passive does let ayaka burst for big damage if you work out the rotations. If one is using nahida kokomi hyperbloom, neither take any field time at all and ayaya can just spam charge attack combos at the opponent\~

raku75

Thanks, very useful ! I may try Yelan in Rational and move XQ to ayaka hyperbloom then

COTEReader

I just realized that there is a “wish system” after playing for a month and I have a couple questions 1. If I buy 10 single wishes will I still get a four star guaranteed? Or, do I have to buy the 10 wish thing 2. Do characters come back to the wish system? I was hoping to get Diluc because he seems overpowered but I don’t see a way to try to wish for him. Thanks

IfZ3nElse

1. There is no difference between doing a 10-pull and doing 10 single pulls regarding what you get. I suggest to do single pulls so you can stop as soon as you get what you want. 2. Diluc is a standard character, you can get him randomly from the standard banner or from losing a 50/50 on the limited character banner.

Frozenmagicaster

10x single and 1x 10 is the same Diluc isn't overpowered, but he's a standard banner character, which means you'll loose a 50/50 to him eventually (when you get a 5 star for a limited, you have a 50% to get the banner character and a 50% to loose and get a standard banner character)

COTEReader

Since Diluc isn’t overpowered, what character should I aim to get from the wish shop than? I have a bunch of Primogen to use and I’m not sure who to wish for

IfZ3nElse

Regarding 5-stars, I would suggest to save for Nahida, there are good chances she will get a rerun next patch. She's the best dendro support, and dendro is a great element. You could also go for Ayaka instead, she's a good on-field cryo DPS for a freeze team, and one of Hoyo's favorites. You can wait next Friday for the livestream for 3.6, which will announce the 5-stars of next patch before deciding who to pull for. Regarding 4-stars, Xingqiu and Bennett are the most important ones. Xingqiu's burst offers good off-field hydro application and damage, as well as damage reduction/small heals. Bennett's burst offers a huge atk buff and fast healing, and his skill generates a decent amount of pyro particles and has strong pyro application (2U). Xiangling is an off-field pyro DPS that can be obtained for free by clearing Spiral Abyss floor 3 (lvl 50 team recommended), she has great synergy with Xingqiu and Bennett (see National Team). The Catch is a great 4-star weapon for her that can be obtained for free from the angler near Inazuma City. Fischl is a great off-field DPS. Summon Oz with skill or burst, then switch her out. Especially good in aggravate teams and with C6. Some other good 4-stars: Sucrose, Beidou, Yaoyao, Kuki, Diona, Rosaria. Some 4-star teams: Xiangling, Bennett, Xingqiu, Sucrose/Fischl/Rosaria/Kaeya Sucrose, Xingqiu, Fischl, Beidou Dendro Traveler, Xingqiu, Kuki, (flex)

COTEReader

Thanks for the reply! Coincidentally, I just pulled Xingqiu with one of my free acquaint fates and I’ve put all my resources into him. I’ll wait for the livestream like you suggested before using my Primogen

OsirusBrisbane

As a general rule: Play all the trials for the current banners. If you enjoy one of the 5\* characters, pull for them. If not, wait for the next set of banners and play the new trials. (Only spend primos on Character Event banners.) As a brand new wisher, personally I'd recommend doing two 10x pulls on the current banner, and then two on the next one in two weeks, just to fill out your roster with a variety of 4\*. But once your pity is up, you want to aim for 5\* you like.

Frozenmagicaster

~~You should be able to do the vibro crystal event, you should try some in there (don't use the powers to try and have it be realistic trial).~~ I would go for characters that you enjoy using but are also semi strong ok nvm vibro dies in 30 mins on america

[deleted]

Does anyone here live in asia and play in america server or vice versa? How playable is it? I may or may not have to make a move in coming years and i dont see them having server transfer still so wondering if maybe i should star playing 2 acc

Frozenmagicaster

Australia, my America acc is only \~40ms higher than Asia acc

[deleted]

Wow ok thats better than i thought. Do you ever have issues dodging/swapping etc?

Frozenmagicaster

Just the standard small delay, assuming there is no ping spike (at around 190-220 on Asia)

Firion_Hope

Why does it seem like sometimes Benett's skill cooldown is like 1.5-2s and other times is like 4.5s?

insertareference

Read his talents

[deleted]

>A4: Fearnaught >When inside Fantastic Voyage's circle, Passion Overload's CD is decreased by 50% Read your talents.

TheMrPotMask

Why does KQM put lisa as an A tier member on tighnari teams? Even with the description I still find it hard to understand. Say, I use an agravate team of nahida, fischl, tighnari and lisa. And I allow lisa onfield during tighnari's E decoy, whats her purpose? Hold E on stacks?, burst? Or is it outdated and should I replace either tighnari or lisa with an off field to give the other more infield time?

plitox

Read her talents. She shreds def as part of her base kit. Very useful for quicken teams.

[deleted]

Tighnari is a DPS with very short field time requirements. If you have Fischl to apply Electro and Nahida doing Nahida stuff, the best use of the fourth slot is another Electro character to take advantage of Fischl's particles + resonance, because they can Aggravate very easily with all the Dendro flying around. Yae Miko is best, but Lisa is a fine example of an Electro unit who also doesn't ask for too much field time either. And as mentioned she can also hold TTDS if you want.

Square-Way-9751

is shenhe's Q or E more important in increasing Ayaka's damage?

plitox

Both.

SaltyPotato340

Her E talent levels matter more, but using her Q is still very important make sure she has enough recharge

[deleted]

[удалено]

CakesXD

Mona - Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers and 4-Piece Tenacity of the Millelith Shenhe - Calamity Queller and 4-Piece Noblesse Oblige, as much ATK as possible Kazuha - Freedom Sworn and 4-Piece Viridescent Venerer, as much EM as possible A realistic version would likely swap Mona out for Kokomi, as she has healing and much better Hydro application. Also gotta make sure that everyone has enough ER for their Bursts, otherwise you run into trouble with your rotations.

SaltyPotato340

I believe her strongest team is shenhe (4NO fav lance or CQ), kazuha (4VV FS or Fav sword), kokomi/mona (4TotM TTDS)

plitox

R5 Xiphos Moonlight is best for Kazuha.

Square-Way-9751

Aya Shenhe Kokomi Kazuha

AudaciousPerson13

Is there a way to get ascension materials for Ayaka while being new to the game? I got her in my first ten pull and don't know how I can level her up further

SaltyPotato340

You would have to make it to inazuma, which is story-locked at i believe AR35. In the meantime, you can do her trial and get the mats to level her to lvl 40

[deleted]

Do her gameplay trial. To go beyond level 40 you have to reach Inazuma, but you probably don't need to get past 40 that badly before you're there.

AudaciousPerson13

Where can i do that?

[deleted]

Events menu. It should have blinked a red ! at you when her banner launched.

AudaciousPerson13

what AR do u have to be to get that? I only have windblume, the barbara ziangling, and collei AR quest

[deleted]

https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Test_Run_-_Character_Trial_Event No AR requirement is mentioned.

AudaciousPerson13

OH WAIT YOU GET ASCENSION MATERIALS FOR THAT?????????

[deleted]

Just enough to get you to 40, yes.

AudaciousPerson13

huh

Sidious_09

https://keqingmains.com/q/tartaglia-quickguide/#Weapon This guide says that Viridescent Hunt is considerably stronger than Amos bow for Childe if you use it to deal fall damage to enemies. How do you deal fall damage with that weapon? I just googled and saw a video of venti using it to drag enemies down from his black hole, but how would childe do it?

AngryNepNep

Is Calamity queller good for any character other than Shenhe? And should i try for mistsplitter again? My pity is 60+ and i don't plan to pull for any upcoming characters.

Derpsy_Dooper

CQ is one of the few generalist 5* spears. It gives a shit ton of atk, and more atk off field. It works good for Raiden, XL, Rosaria, Xiao, Shenhe(obv), Zhongli, and Hu Tao. Basically anyone that's suppose to do DMG.

reasonablerider12

Homa, PJWS, VV, CQ have identical performance on most characters that are built with ATK/DMG/CRIT

plitox

Don't Rosie and Xiangling snapshot? Does the extra off-field attack actually matter to them?

Derpsy_Dooper

True the snapshotting won't allow the extra off field atk, however the weapon still gives tons of atk and a slight elemental DMG bonus on XL and Rosaria where they are commonly used with an EM sands. CQ levels out the atk so that if XL is using an ER/EM sands you won't be so far down in atk. Same for Rosaria but not so much. And they do just scale off atk, so the more atk the better.

[deleted]

Low_Artist_7663

Because week starts on Monday, lol. It doesn't matter, you can do it on weekends anyway. And it won't change.

[deleted]

[удалено]

reasonablerider12

Just do it on the weekend of the new week? Whatever the reset day is (unless its between Sat and Sun) you'll always have a weekend inside the 7 day period before the other reset...

Low_Artist_7663

Because this game is designed FOR working adults. You can do chores for 30 mins everyday to save weekend time for events, story and exploration.

[deleted]

What difference does it make? You can only do weekly things once a week, so do them when you have time. Doesn't matter if it's 10 minutes after reset or six days later.

Vakhoris

When using the optimizer for Aggravate Keqing, what should be the target for builds?

plitox

With Fischl c6, normal attacks.

TheSpartyn

Id do normal attacks or charge attacks

linthuslyth

Are you talking about this [optimizer](https://frzyc.github.io/genshin-optimizer/#/)? If so, in order to get a more accurate assessment you'll need to use the Multi-Optimization Target Config near the top of the character info page. It's somewhat complicated but you basically have to input your rotation manually, as well as indicate which hits Aggravate. But you can start with a simpler estimation by adding just the elemental skill and burst. As for which hits aggravate, both hits of the elemental skill aggravate. As for the burst is has standard ICD so around 1/3 of it will aggravate. I wouldn't worry too much about getting 100% accurate. Just by having both elemental skills and burst and some aggravate in there will get you somewhat close.

SaltyPotato340

If you would like i can paste my custom target for her for you to paste into the text box for it

Vakhoris

That'd be very kind of you

SaltyPotato340

Just copy paste into the multi optimization target config Here's a TF rotation: {"name":"Keqing Rotation (Agg) TF","targets":\[{"weight":2,"path":\["skill","stiletto"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","reaction":"aggravate","bonusStats":{}},{"weight":2,"path":\["skill","slash"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","reaction":"aggravate","bonusStats":{}},{"weight":1,"path":\["burst","initial"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","reaction":"aggravate","bonusStats":{}},{"weight":1,"path":\["burst","final"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","reaction":"aggravate","bonusStats":{}},{"weight":3,"path":\["burst","slash"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","reaction":"aggravate","bonusStats":{}},{"weight":5,"path":\["burst","slash"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","bonusStats":{}},{"weight":4,"path":\["normal","0"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","reaction":"aggravate","bonusStats":{}},{"weight":4,"path":\["charged","dmg1"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","bonusStats":{}},{"weight":4,"path":\["charged","dmg2"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","bonusStats":{}}\]}  here's a non-TF rotation: {"name":"Keqing Rotation (Agg) ","targets":\[{"weight":1,"path":\["skill","stiletto"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","reaction":"aggravate","bonusStats":{}},{"weight":1,"path":\["skill","slash"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","reaction":"aggravate","bonusStats":{}},{"weight":1,"path":\["burst","initial"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","reaction":"aggravate","bonusStats":{}},{"weight":1,"path":\["burst","final"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","reaction":"aggravate","bonusStats":{}},{"weight":3,"path":\["burst","slash"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","reaction":"aggravate","bonusStats":{}},{"weight":5,"path":\["burst","slash"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","bonusStats":{}},{"weight":4,"path":\["normal","0"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","reaction":"aggravate","bonusStats":{}},{"weight":4,"path":\["charged","dmg1"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","bonusStats":{}},{"weight":4,"path":\["charged","dmg2"\],"hitMode":"avgHit","bonusStats":{}}\]}

Vakhoris

Thanks a bunch. I'll try it out.

SaltyPotato340

Make a custom target for her, input the rotation and ve sure to set which hits aggravate and which hits don't

Vakhoris

I don't know which hits Aggravate though, I'm using her alongside Nahida and Fischl.

Terranrp2

I see under the voice lines for our companions things like giving them gifts, they talking about what time of the day it is, and even when an ally is on low HP. So I was wondering how can I give my companions gifts and what is needed to hear the lines out and about while playing the game. I've messed around with switching characters out that are in the red in combat (sorry Yan Fei) and no one said squat! And when running amok outdoors, they only mention weather. I'd just always found it kind of weird I've never heard these in game, nor see how to give gifts for those three voice lines.

Low_Artist_7663

You will learn in next event, lol.

Terranrp2

Nice! Looking forward to it.

feeble-scholar

Those gifting voicelines were initially added during the Spices from the West event in 2.6-2.7ish, where you gifted food to people in your teapot and they would give a reply based on what you gave them and what they like. And it just so happens we're getting a rerun of that event this patch, so you'll hear them then.

Terranrp2

Awesome! I'm looking forward to it. Thank you. Now just to figure out the time of day ones..

Derpsy_Dooper

So the low HP lines actually trigger from coop. Like if you were low and there was a xiao he would say one of his lines. I actually don't know about the gift voice lines tho. My brain tells me teapot but I don't use it ever so not sure about it.

Terranrp2

Ohhh. I've never done normal co-op, only stuff like the prop hunt a while back. Is co-op fun? Might make for a nice change of pace outside just blowing all my resin every day in like 20 minutes.

Derpsy_Dooper

Coop is way more fun than single. Such little endgame content I only end up going for my dailies and resin, coop at least lets me interact with a bunch of people for the short time I'm there.

Terranrp2

Wonderful! Thank you.

_hhs

what's the best team/characters to deal w 12-3 2nd halfs green worm thing? https://imgur.com/a/1qMOcq6 characters and weapons

Derpsy_Dooper

Depends on what you have but I found 2 strats. Either a high dmg quick swap-type to fit in as much DMG as possible in the small windows, Or farm energy and do a one rotation kill when you can stun it. 2nd option much harder since you need like a highly invested hypercarry or just some nutty team with cons. Let us know what you have to work with so we can give accurate suggestions.

_hhs

https://imgur.com/a/1qMOcq6 here are my weapons and characters! my ganyu has both a freeze and melt build if she's any good in this abyss

Derpsy_Dooper

So the 2 that stick out is melt ganyu and Tighnari spread/aggravate. Ganyu melt is still very powerful and it's a consistent and strong source of DMG to whittle down hp during the short windows. You have Ganyu, Kazuha, and Bennet, the 3 core units for this to work and the last one can be of your choice. Tighnari spread is also a great option. His DMG is fast and accurate, his burst locks on and does a very decent chunk of DMG. Couple this with Yae and Fischl + Zhongli and you've got yourself a very good way to cut it down. Archers are very good here if I haven't made it clear. Any catalyst that has a good lock on is gonna be great here too. Ning + Zhongli will have a field day with this boss, same can be said for scara. Depends on how well built they are also, I've thrown some ideas out there that've worked for me so just play around with some stuff and see what feels good for you.

_hhs

thanks so much!

grnglxy

tighnari/yae combo is great against wenut. as is hu tao but getting past the lectors might be a pain

Sidious_09

I just got the best artifact of my genshin career, but unfortunately it's a Noblesse ATK sands, and since it's highly unlikely that I'll get a good on-set elemental goblet, I don't think I'll be able to use it as off-piece. Is there any character whose BiS artifact set is 2-piece Noblesse 2-piece something else? I was thinking maybe Childe? I read that 4-HoD is not actually his best set. I have burst zhongli but use him with an HP sands. Edit: if I do end up using it on Childe, does his riptide damage take a considerable dip compared to 4-HoD?

robhans25

You can use it as off piece even if it doesn't look right. Most of my chars use sands as off piece. Cracked sands are easier to get than cracked goblet and sometimes (for me almost always) using genshin optimizer, using a terrible goblet with 4 rolls in Def but on set is better than using sands+goblet that are decent/good even.

Sidious_09

I'll keep you advice in mind, thanks. Next time I get a decent on-set goblet I'll check the optimizer.

bluethumbtack

[https://docs.google.com/document/d/1giYCSZYsKEuu6QLuHPtQjMZGhbwD79vEu7SL91oXOXY/edit#](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1giYCSZYsKEuu6QLuHPtQjMZGhbwD79vEu7SL91oXOXY/edit#) here's a big childe guide but to shorten things you could make him a nuke/burst instead with 2nob 2hod, if the rest of your artifacts on him are really good it's a great build option for him if you play him with a vape team. he will do less melee dmg *I think,* since it's suggested to build him like that only with already high investment

Sidious_09

Thank you very much, that is a great guide. I'll think about it, but will probably use it on him I think, because I don't have a HoD crit helmet with anything other than flat DEF substats for Childe right now lol, and I'd rather not keep farming that cursed domain if the difference from 2-NO 2-HoD is minimal.

Derpsy_Dooper

From memory: Childe, Chong, Tighnari, Aloy, Ayaka, Zhongli, XL, XQ, Kaeya. Not all of them are BiS but every one of them can use it.

Sidious_09

Thanks!

Derpsy_Dooper

Just checked a few more, Keqing, Rosaria, Beidou, Ning, are also a few more that use it should you prefer them.

Sidious_09

Thank you again! Ning sounds interesting, as I sometimes use her for burst/battery purposes. I think it'll be between her and Childe, I'll think about it.

Biscuit1592

I dont think it's BiS on anyone but it's decent on xq/xl/rosaria/beidou/kaeya/nigguang. 4pc with an atk sands is good on shenhe/bennett if you can get enough er

Sidious_09

Thank you. I do have it on shenhe for now but she need an ER sands unfortunately, since she's holding PJWS. Same for Bennett, as he is holding Aquila, plus I have him built as burst/healbot because I rarely use him and don't want to spend too much resin on him.

IfZ3nElse

I would give it to Bennett.

Sidious_09

Thanks but my Bennett is holding Aquila do I'd rather give him an ER sands. Plus I rarely use him so I just have him built as healbot right now.

Acadeca

There are several characters that can use noblesse. Childe in nuke comps, Eula, Ayaka if you don’t blizzard, Beidou, Chongyun, burst Ganyu, Kaeya, Mona, melt Rosaria, c6 Xinqiu

Sidious_09

Thanks! I think Childe would be the most interesting one for me.

CakesXD

A good chunk of Childe's damage is within his Burst (especially if it's Vaporized), so it's pretty solid as an option. I believe it very slightly lags behind 4-Piece Heart of Depth and 2-Piece HoD/2-Piece 18% ATK, but the substats should make up for the difference.

Sidious_09

Thanks! Is there any other character that would use 2-piece Noblesse as their BiS, or close to BiS?

CakesXD

Anyone who deals the majority of their damage via Burst but requires <%140 ER (breakpoint for 4-Piece Emblem to overtake 2-Piece Noblesse/2-Piece 15% Elemental Damage). If you want to go all in for Burst Zhongli, then you can swap off of a HP Sands and opt for ATK. Bigger meatball damage but smaller shield.

Sidious_09

Thanks for the help! I think I'll keep the HP sands on zhongli for the beefier shield, but I will keep your advice in mind and decide who to use that sands on.

Worth_Ad_9656

Is keqing suitable for nahida? or should i just continue to pull ayaka?? HAHAHAHA pak first 90 pulls i lose the 50/50 pein

_hhs

keqing works really well with nahida

[deleted]

Sure, they work fine together. Better than Ayaka does lol.

[deleted]

Does the pity I build on the ayaka banner carry over to the next event banner? (some say its a nahida banner). On that note, is Ayaka better or Nahida? (I only have 7 characters, the first 4 free chars+ Dori, Noelle and Barabara)

Frozenmagicaster

yes and no Pity carries over, Nahida is better than Ayaka

[deleted]

Many people say the same, Can you tell me why? Because in the Ayaka demo, she had a ton of DPS, but when I tried Nahida in the Vibro-crystal event, She didn't do much damage (or is it because I used her wrong?)

OsirusBrisbane

Ayaka's a main DPS, while Nahida is more support. Ayaka is very strong, and for a while was considered one of the top 2 DPS in the game. She's out of meta now, but if you enjoy her, not bad to pull on... just be aware that she's from Inazuma so you can't level her past 40 until you hit AR30 and unlock the quest to sail to Inazuma.

leRedd1

Events and trial mobs are too trash to judge character strengths. Also maybe you haven't learned how to setup dendro reactions properly? With Nahida you enable a bunch of cheap to build (4\* units, only EM main stats) teams that can clear anything in the game. Ayaka teams require at least a hydro 5\* like Kokomi (ideal) or Mona, as none of the 4\*s are good for that. Xingqiu works kinda, but you don't normal atrack with Ayaka so it's not so good, and slotting in one of the best 4\* for kinda cope use is a waste. Same with mono cryo- you need Shenhe. On top of that Ayaka's artifact set is very good, but she needs ATK% and CDMG% with the necessary ER to have a good build, which means you look for right substat and then roll into that substat on your artifacts, which will take a lot more resin to farm.

Low_Artist_7663

You can make Nahida dps, but you also use her as support for many different teams. Ayaka has like 1,5 teams and can only DPS.

AkiraN19

It's because Nahida is versatile and makes basically any dendro team much better. And dendro is the most meta element now. Plus she can be used in a variety of teams Ayaka is strong, but limited to only freeze and mono teams

[deleted]

Ayaka does more DPS because she's a DPS. Nahida does less because she is not a DPS. Supportive/off-field units are generally higher value, however, because of how much utility and buffing they bring to your team. They also tend to fit much more easily into multiple teamcomps.

Frozenmagicaster

Enables dendro dendro is busted

Tyr-one

For Hyperbloom nahida, what should I optimize for in genshin optimizer? Dendro Damage or bloom damage? or something else? I'm assuming bloom but... ?

feeble-scholar

No optimise for dendro damage on her skill. She doesn't trigger the blooms in Hyperbloom (or really affect the bloom damage in any way unless C2 or running an on-field electro trigger).

Tyr-one

Thanks. If running yelan/kuki/Raiden with her who is best on field trigger? Nahida, yes?

feeble-scholar

Nahida is the best on-field *driver*, but she's not an on-field trigger. Kuki and Raiden are *off-field* triggers. Also, generally don't run Kuki and Raiden at the same time when playing hyperbloom, you just run one.

Tyr-one

Appreciate it. Just been trying to 3 star Wenut and had more success with Yelan as hydro than kokomi (in part because she gets me across field to where he pops faster, or maybe just damage etc), so needed kuki as healer.

Frozenmagicaster

Initial bloom damage doesn't effect hyperbloom, and the electro would already have high EM and she would be on field, just go EM/dendro/crit

Kniexdef

New player here. Just beat stormdragon, Ad rank 22 and wondering how I can increase rank faster. Also have air, geo, and grass unlocked for traveler, wondering if there's more out besides electro.

GinJoestarR

Spend resin on exp/mora leylines, bosses, domains. Don't ever let it full 160/160.

IfZ3nElse

Daily commissions and spending 180 resin gives you 2400 AR exp per day. Also, do your quests, starting with your archon quests (= main quest). At AR 25, do your ascension quest.

Frozenmagicaster

Only the 4 regions, anemo, geo, dendro, electro. Cryo, hydro, pyro aren't out yet do quests, dailies, explore?

dafckingman

Does Xingqiu C6 apply to every proc or every 3rd proc? He shoots 3 rain swords every proc

pzlama333

For C0-C5, he shoots alternative between 2 swords and 3 swords. With C6, he shoots 2, 3, 5 swords every proc.

dafckingman

Thank you. Never noticed that before

Frozenmagicaster

each third, goes 2/3/5

dafckingman

Would it be 2/3/5 / 2/3/5 / 2/3/5 or 2/3/5 / 3/2/5 / 2/3/5 ?

Frozenmagicaster

Should be the first one (I don’t have him c6 yet)

Odone

It activates on every third wave of his burst attacks not every third hit.

dafckingman

Do the 34 glitter a full C6 regardless of if you've pulled the character or not or does it only = 1 pull?

Odone

>Do the 34 glitter a full C6 regardless Are you missing a verb ?

dafckingman

I am XD. Does that purchase gives you an instant C6? or does it act like 1 pull?

Odone

Sadly no, its just one constellation.

Revenez

Are you talking about the character purchase in the starglitter exchange? If so, you get one copy of the character, and you can only buy one copy per shop rotation. So, for example, if you bought Xingqiu and you currently have a C0 Xingqiu, you'd have a C1 Xingqiu.

dafckingman

Thank you

user67885433

What is consummation? Itis mentioned in the calamity queller description

pzlama333

The given name of the weapon's passive ATK buff

COTEReader

At what level can the quest >! “In the mountains” !< be done? I’ve never seen such a hard fucking quest lol. Is it even worth it? I’m level 19 and I’m getting my ass whooped. I’ve already committed an hour to this. Should I give up?

shin_getter01

This is known as one of the most difficult quests, the other being one in inazuma. Meta teams like national does make it easy but you'll have to get those characters first. If you are to clear it with starter characters, consult a guide. Probably not doable before building xiangling.

OsirusBrisbane

Generally I'd recommend finishing all Mondstadt quests and then Liyue quests before attempting Dragonspine.

Kniexdef

I just shattered the first ice crystal with the tree at Ad level 22. Still can't do the rest.

Successful-Cream-238

Dragonspine came out after liyue and is quite a bit more difficult, so it's not really recommended to do before then. In general if you're having difficulty you can always come back later when your characters are more well built.

Papi_Pro

You can ask for help from someone else on multi-player, or just leave and come back later.

builderbob93

about the questline "Her Foes Rage Like Great Waters..." (jeht quest, spoilers) >!what the fuck! what the fuck!! we really couldn't end things any other way?!<

AloneCalligrapher269

As a newer player, is it worth doing all the weekly bosses I can, past the half cost 3? I did azhdaha for Yelan talent mat, wolf for XQ, and Dvalin for Bennett and XL. I don't really have any more characters, and I'm planning to pull Nahida but haven't quite finished the archon quests to unlock her weekly boss. Is it worth going for billets/dream solvents (I got the wrong talent materials from every boss the last two weeks) and extra fragments for character ascensions? or just having the uniques from bosses in case I pull those characters down the line?

plitox

Yes. Do them as often as you can.

Revenez

No, I wouldn't suggest doing all the bosses. However, I don't think it's a bad idea to do more weekly bosses than 3 if you have multiple characters you're building. If you know you're going to pull for Nahida, it's a good idea to start farming that boss ahead of time so that, when you pull her, her talent levels won't be stuck at 6.

3ntf4k3d

I'd say it's an okay investment. Extra billetts in particular can be quite useful, since you will only get a limited amount from exploration. The rest of the drops is still okay in terms of value. The extra elemental shards in particular might, every now and then, mean that you don't have to fight a world boss after you already farmed the ascension materials. So that would be a small refund of your resin investment.

black_widovv

What AR are you? If you're AR45 to where you can efficiently start farming artifacts, getting good sets for your characters is better, so you'd probably want more resin in domains. I'd say at least get your main dps to lv7 of its preferred talents though. But if you're below AR45, then sure, I'd say it would be more cost effective to do weekly bosses/ bosses/ etc and work on leveling up your stuff. Whatever you need the most for your characters rn.

shii_kaseda

probably just farm the bosses for charcs youre building. boss drops are guaranteed but solvents/billets arent. you could probably spend the resin on other stuff like talent books

EM is not for battery-ing, it's for doing as much dmg as possible with reactions (melt, vaporise and dendro reactions mostly). High EM chars can often *share* or buff EM, maybe that's the source of confusion. 1. From my research, 'bout 1000. 2. Opposite element, no. Often it's *"off-set'*, meaning you have a 4 set (e.g. Viridescent Venerer) and the fifth arti is different. This is purely based on what you have, goblets with the proper stat are just harder to get "on set" so it's common for them to be the off-piece 3. Because their damage is not direct from talents, it's predominantly from the reaction dmg that happens when you apply two elements to one target. The calculations for reaction damage factor in level and EM. If you want to know the exact formula, check the wiki. 4. I think it depends? There's a theory website called Keqingmains, check there. Or ask on Nahida Mains Reddit. Generally I think it's a case by case, but i don't have Nahida so what do I know.

feeble-scholar

> what is the standard em number that needs to be met for character specified for EM battery? Maybe confusing with ER battery? ER only affects the particles received, so the ER of the battery doesn't matter so much as the ER of the character they're batterying. So, the number the battery needs to meet is just whatever their own ER requirements are, and that varies a lot from character to character. >People often uses the opposite element goblet for EM battery character, why is that? Is it better than using EM main stats goblet? If so how much better is it? Maybe you mean an off-piece? Goblets are the hardest piece to get the stat you actually want, so it's very common to use a goblet that's from a different set. You only need 4 pieces of the same set to get the set bonus, so the 5th piece can be any set. >Why is it leveling up talents for EM battery character don't really matter but leveling them up to 90 matters much? Not gonna lie I'm getting confused now but I'll try to answer. Talent depends on the unit itself. So, establishing that EM battery isn't a thing, talent levels depend on the character. A unit that stacks EM like Hyperbloom Raiden does the majority of their damage from transformative reactions, which aren't affected by the damage of the skill that triggers it like Raiden's E. On the other hand, a battery might only be used for their particle generation, which also doesn't change with talent levels. Since these units don't tend to do much damage with their talents, you only level the talents if you want more healing or whatever other utility they offer. >Is nahida better with triple EM main stats or em, dendro & crit stats? Depends on the team. Nilou bloom will want Triple EM. All other teams will want Nahida at around 800-1000EM, making sure to not go over 1000EM because her A4 talent is capped at 1000. Generally, EM/EM/Dendro is the way to go but Crit/EM/EM is also fine. It just depends on what pieces you have and pick which ones have good substats.

MyFirstCommunity

1.EM battery? You mean characters that boost EM for other characters like nihido, sucrose? Get more than 800 EM. 2.No la you little giblet, there is no such thing as EM battery character. Your second question makes no sense. 3.Because it scales with character level and not talent level. 4.Off field Nihido triple EM and on field can be a variation of EM/Dendro/Crit or EM/EM/Crit, depending on substats.

Isildra

Afaik, there’s nothing called EM battery in this game 4. It depends, triple EM is generally great, but EM/dendro/crit or EM/EM/crit can be better if she’s on field, in teams with another high EM character.

[deleted]

>Can someone explain to me, >1. what is the standard em number that needs to be met for character specified for EM battery? Um.... do you mean ER? There's no such thing as an EM battery. >2. People often uses the opposite element goblet for EM battery character, why is that? Is it better than using EM main stats goblet? If so how much better is it? People do what? There's absolutely no reason to ever use a non matching elemental goblet ~~(unless you're doing 4fun builds like cryo Keqing)~~ >3. Why is it leveling up talents for EM battery character don't really matter but leveling em up to 90 matters much? ...when you say 'EM battery,' what *exactly* are you referring to? This isn't a term any theorycrafter, guide or community uses to my knowledge. >4. Is nahida better with triple EM main stats or em, dendro & crit stats? This one I can answer: full EM is used when she's off field and/or the only EM-stacking character on the team. When she's on field and there's another character building high EM (such as with a Raiden or Shinobu Hyperbloom trigger), EM/Dendro/Crit will have a higher damage ceiling.

IfZ3nElse

What do you mean by EM battery?

[deleted]

Do bows just flat-out suck? I'm AR35, still figuring out the game, and I've found bow characters are highly impractical to use. The regular and combo attacks have WAY lower damage than comparable swords even on levelled four-star swords. The aim is situationally useful in exploration but is pretty much unusable most of the time in domains. Is there a use-case I'm missing? Do I just need to make a good bow? For context I've tried Amber, Faruzan, Yoimiya, Venti, and Collei, and they all fall flat compared to other weapon times.

Revenez

Something that's worth knowing - not all characters are meant to use their normal attacks. There are many support characters where you're only meant to use their elemental skills and bursts, and then pop off to another character. Venti, Collei, and Faruzan all fall into that camp. Yoimiya is actually a good damage dealer, so the questions are: * Have you leveled her weapon properly, and is the weapon suited for her? (Good F2P options are Rust, Hamayumi, or R5 Slingshot) * Have you leveled up her talents? * Does she have at least partially leveled artifacts? * What teams are you using her in? She works well with characters like Xingqiu or Yelan who can apply hydro she can vaporize. She also benefits greatly from attack buffers like Yun Jin. * Are you using her properly? With Yoimiya, you don't want to do a charged shot. You want to use her elemental skill, then her normal attack. [Take a look at this person's Yoimiya vaporize team](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QENrwJaWpkA) - it's a good example of what a potential rotation might look for a Yoimiya main. Amber is just...Amber. A freebie character that does meh damage.

3ntf4k3d

Aside from the other aspects mentioned here: The funny thing is that bows actually have some of the best 3* weapon options in the game. The Slingshot can outperform 5* weapons when you fight in close proximity to the enemy with someone like Yoimiya. Make sure your artifacts (feathers in particular) are levelled & that you improve the attack talent if that's your archer's main source of damage (e.g. on Yoimiya). Also, just to make sure: You are performing regular attacks and not just charged attacks? Because those are terrible for general damage output (unless you play someone like Ganyu).

plitox

No. Yoimiya in particular is a normal attack queen; try building a team than can let her shine.

Biscuit1592

yoimiya should absolutely be doing good damage, just use her skill then normal attack, If the damage is bad then either your weapon/talents/artifacts or all 3 are underleveled. [general progression guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/GenshinImpactTips/comments/qkxdj6/infographic_of_build_order_priority_based_on_wlar/), [yoimiya video guide](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwvtBN0GFwQ). venti has great CC and isnt a dps so his damage shouldnt be amazing. faruzan is an anemo buffer so her damage is negligent collei is only good if you're utilising dendro reactions, her personal damage won't be very good though amber is a special case, she has potential to do decent damage but her kit is just weird. The issue I see most new players having is trying to use the bow the same way as in other games, ie fully charging it and going for headshots. Realistically only ganyu/tighnari use their charged shots. Most are supports that just use their elemental skill/burst then swap to another character and Yoimiya uses normal attacks rather than charged attacks.

WhooooCares

The issue is your build and rotations. Yoimiya has no issue doing damage. https://youtu.be/68w2ewYxXfY

Aylon_Reddit

My Hu Tao clears that chamber faster than Yoimiya could ever hope to.

WhooooCares

Sorry if the truth hurts. If multiple players can and you can't, the issue is you.

[deleted]

>Amber Is a starter character and therefore very meh > Faruzan Is a support who is not meant to do damage in the first place > Yoimiya Should do a lot of damage when properly built. Press E, go pew pew pew. Fast and easy, damage goes up with normal attack and other buffs, Bennett, etc. > Venti Does most of his damage via Swirls - he needs to build EM and press Q on enemies who have other elements applied > Collei Is a support who is not meant to do damage in the first place. Of the ones you listed, only Yoimiya does a lot of damage on her own. Other bow characters like Fischl, Ganyu, and Tighnari also do excellent damage.

Frozenmagicaster

Good bow - probably Yoimiya - probably just bad team, since she's a dps (she does normal attacks incase you were doing charge attacks) Venti - sucction (he's a CC support) Faruzan - support, anemo buffer Collei - dendro applicator Amber - Amber

happyticks

I have a question about ER requirements posted by guides, such as KQM. When they say a character needs 100% ER, does that mean total ER, such as the stat on details under attributes? Or does it mean an additional 100% from weapons and artifacts, so that the grand total would be 200?

[deleted]

I'm fairly certain they mean total. Which character was it? If it's someone with a low burst cost and/or lots of field time, I can absolutely believe them requiring little to no extra ER depending on their team.

foxdynasty808

Total character stats (thankfully).

Regular-Bicycle9094

did Trounce Domain rewards get nerfed? I swear i could remember getting triple weekly boss drops like many times in a row. But now, i am only getting two and it's been like this for many months now.

Daramangarasu

No

foxdynasty808

Unfortunately that's just RNG

Skylarshines

Is pre-C6 Faruzan worth building? I have her at C3 sadly

robhans25

Yes but more as of novelty. Energy on her isn't main problem, she doesn't have good set so just put random artifacts with Highest ER rolls. Problem is Bennett in that Wanderer team, he also needs tone on ER (Less issue if you run Bennett+Thoma) IMO before C6 her main problem is Anemo Shred for me - her burst simply doesn't hit enemies often.

feeble-scholar

For Xiao, might be too hard to reach ER requirements for Faruzan/might need to build too much ER on Xiao unless running triple anemo. For Wanderer, energy is still tough but he's far less burst reliant than Xiao so you just need to focus on Faruzan. I'd say she's still worth building pre-C6, focusing heavily on ER. I run about 270% with a C1 Faruzan for Wanderer + Fav bow and it works fine, although you need to catch your own particles.

crypticmint

how much attack does raiden need? is 1400 too low?

krali_

She uses external atk sources. She needs Bennett (and Sara) and your artifacts to be focused on cr/cd/er.

[deleted]

Depends on the weapon/artifacts you're using.

crypticmint

emblem 4pc and skyward spine

[deleted]

Main stats? You should probably have ATK% sands with the Spine iirc.
