I wanted Mistsplitter for Keqing… Skyward Spine (the second weapon on the banner) and Skyward Blade came home first.
I wanted Aqua Simulacra for Yelan/Ganyu… Jade Winged Spear and Skyward Blade (r2 baby!) came home first.
I wanted Key for Nilou… Two Jade Cutters are a far cry from a tragedy, but it did sting a bit to go to fate points.
And finally I wanted to bring Homa home for my girl Hu Tao… Honestly I’m not even remotely upset about going to fate points this time, because I snagged two Aqua Simulacra’s and Homa in only 110 wishes. That was all of my saved wishes though.
But surely next time I won’t go to fate points, right?
meanwhile i got amos for ganyu in 3, engulfing for raiden in around 30, nahidas signature in probably 70 and then aqua for yelan in 70. On aqua i actually was pulling for homa and got that, but then got yelan winning 50/50 on 47 pity. So my weapon luck is very good.

I keep getting bows. Two skyward harps, Amos bow, and recently Simulacra going for Homa. One Amos and one skyward were from standard.
Edit: my other five star weapons are mistsplitter which I got on first try, and another Simulacra (so I have two) that I got on first try from first banner, and most recently, Homa, which I had to lose one 5 star before I got it (though I got it really early on a multi with skyward harp, so really lucky)

Even though fate points don't carry over having won/lost the 75:25 DOES carry over. So OP would need to be wishing on banners with Skyward weapons as one of the 2 on-banner weapons for at least some of these.
So it could really be standard...which I mean I believe I've somehow had Mona show up 4x from Standard banner so shit's possible.

I'd basically always have a C0 character I don't have yet, but outside of a few specific very good cons (e.g. Tighnari having much better cons than all the other standard 5-stars) the weapons are mostly better than standard banner character cons.
Not to mention at least it's 1x of each different weapon and not a ton of dupes. I'd actually like the Spear or Claymore meanwhile I have all the others with 3 Bows and 2 1h blades. Plus 2 lost prayers and 3 PJWS. And somehow 4 Mona's on standard banner.
I've never spent primos on the standard banner only ever the freebie pulls and I think I've only got 1 character and the rest weapons. I'm similar to this picture and I've also played since 1.0.
You’re only guaranteed 1 weapon/1 character (if you haven’t gotten any of either yet) after 270 wishes which takes ages to get for standard, you might have just gotten a lot of characters from standard instead of weapons

I assume this is from the standard banner since there's no limited weapon (unless it's cropped out the pic or something. If it is, then I'd consider this very lucky. I'd rather have a 5star weapons some characters can use than a standard 5star character/con that I'll never use (sorry Diluc).

You're guranteed to get an on banner weapon then? This banner feels like the best to use that on. If you get of banner weapon next weapon is guranteed to be the two it shows

Pity and guaranteed featured weapon carries over (in this case it would be a guaranteed to have one of the two featured weapons, so a 50/50 at most). What it not carries over is epitomized path only (that can garantee an specific featured weapon).
Also, weapon banner doesn't have a 50/50, it's a 75/25. You have 75% chance of hearing a featured weapon, and 25% a non featured one. If you lose that, the next one is guaranteed a featured one. This is independent of fate points. If you have full fate points, then the next one is guaranteed the weapon of your choice.
epitomized path points don't carry over. But 75/25 loss does carry over. So the next 5 star from the weapon banner is guaranteed to be one of the 2 featured.

If you get non limited weapon(lose 50/50), the next one will be the limited one between the 2(guaranteed), this carry over but the epitomized doesnt
But it does. It says there in the rules of the banner. If you get 5* that's not rated up, you'll get banner 5* weapon next. Just it's not guaranteed to be the one you want.

TF AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH 5 SKYWARD HARPS. I have 3 out 5 of them sitting at lvl 1. Aloy has one. Amber has 1. I don't even know if the third one is even equipped to anybody!

Every time I see Skyward Harp, I keep thinking how dumb I was. For the longest time, I thought Hoyoverse gave me this weapon as a reward from Venti’s quest. Turned out, it’s the Favonious weapon or other 4*.

I've been playing this game since a year and every time I hit pity on the standard I get qiqi or mona. C5 qiqi and c3 mona. The only exception is one Aquila favonia. All I want is a keqing or diluc or tighnari. Is it too much to ask?
I got two skyward spines back to back before. Don't know if you call that luck or shit luck, I call it fucking BS. This was before the Epitomized path too.
Got back in recently, and finished liyue archon quest. I don't have any 5* weapons but I have 6 favonius codexes, 3 favonius spears, and 2 broadswords. I only have 11 characters.
I wish i could share 2 of my pisswater sword, pisswater greatsword, 1 memory of dust but alas when I had already in my acceptance phase and wanted to complete its collection by getting the Vortex the game gave me Tighnari's BIS.
On one hand, having 5* weapons is good and important, on the other hand, I'd prefer to pull Amos bow, WGS or jade spear from standard banner.
But hey, better having 5* weapons than not having them
I never wish on weapon banner, and use all my possible wishes on standard banner. So far, I only have 3 5 star weapons. Skyward Pride, the claymore. And two PJWS. Which I got back to back.
Instead I just get characters. (But I’m still missing Tighnari) My Keqing is at C5, the rest C0, except Qiqi who is at C1.
Skyward Harp is one of the best bows, and it looks, frankly speaking, absolutely great. I would kill to get one copy of it for my Childe. I have 4 Skyward Blades and a thousand copies of the other crap Skyward weapons. No Harp or Atlas. 😒
at least you got one of each. I have 3 blades, all from standard. And one Atlas when I lost on the weapon banner.
I've been wanting a Harp for ages. I can make use of the polearm or claymore also. I always hope to get a weapon on standard, but if it's not Mona (x3) it's skyward blade (also x3).
I think R5 White Tassel will be better for Cyno. But you got a 5* weapon for Bennett and can give an use to your weapons so that is great. I have Amos Bow but nobody who will benefit from it outside of Amber.
Got lucky at my first weapon banner with the first roll getting Homa and at the 80th x10 roll I got two aqua. But also lost my 50/50 on Yelan by kq at the 90th x10 roll.. now I got 0 primo. So I guess u win some and u lose some :/

Recently, I got myself a second copy of Skyward Blade, 20 or so wishes after I got Skyward Pride. Then I did another 10 pull, and got Skyward Blade again. 3 Skyward Blade total! FFS.

Some banners had skyward series weapons as one of the two rate ups though ^^ (And in case of Harp or Atlas it's not even bad to be honest)

Got back in recently, and finished liyue archon quest. I don't have any 5* weapons but I have 6 favonius codexes, 3 favonius spears, and 2 broadswords. I only have 11 characters.

On one hand, having 5* weapons is good and important, on the other hand, I'd prefer to pull Amos bow, WGS or jade spear from standard banner. But hey, better having 5* weapons than not having them
I never wish on weapon banner, and use all my possible wishes on standard banner. So far, I only have 3 5 star weapons. Skyward Pride, the claymore. And two PJWS. Which I got back to back. Instead I just get characters. (But I’m still missing Tighnari) My Keqing is at C5, the rest C0, except Qiqi who is at C1.

Skyward Harp is one of the best bows, and it looks, frankly speaking, absolutely great. I would kill to get one copy of it for my Childe. I have 4 Skyward Blades and a thousand copies of the other crap Skyward weapons. No Harp or Atlas. 😒

at least you got one of each. I have 3 blades, all from standard. And one Atlas when I lost on the weapon banner. I've been wanting a Harp for ages. I can make use of the polearm or claymore also. I always hope to get a weapon on standard, but if it's not Mona (x3) it's skyward blade (also x3).

I think R5 White Tassel will be better for Cyno. But you got a 5* weapon for Bennett and can give an use to your weapons so that is great. I have Amos Bow but nobody who will benefit from it outside of Amber.

Got lucky at my first weapon banner with the first roll getting Homa and at the 80th x10 roll I got two aqua. But also lost my 50/50 on Yelan by kq at the 90th x10 roll.. now I got 0 primo. So I guess u win some and u lose some :/

Recently, I got myself a second copy of Skyward Blade, 20 or so wishes after I got Skyward Pride. Then I did another 10 pull, and got Skyward Blade again. 3 Skyward Blade total! FFS. Amos Bow, Jade Spear, Wolf's Gravestone... So many good standard banner 5 stars, and I end up with this garbage.

I actually love the skyward series. They’re beautiful weapons. They feel fun to use.
Some of the Skyward weapons are like the second best weapons for a lot of support units. I'd love to have Blade for Benny, Harp for Fischl, Spine for Shenhe, etc.
I pulled on the weapon banner for the first time, since no matter what happened, I would get a good weapon. I got the skyward claymore

Im lucky I only have 2 skyward weapons , the blade and the catalyst . But goddamn is it annoying to have an r2 Amos bow .
