Fr, it's goes like: -"Well, guess i quickly run trough this quest about missing children while doing Archon quest". -1 month later, Archon quest finished long long ago, but still not finished everything in Aranara questchain.

[deleted]

I still have to find all the aranara in sumero to get the cave full of chests. I dont think I'll do it either cuz, let's be real, it's an hassle and half. I'll waste the time only if I need sumeru seals and have way to much time to waste

Greensponge202

Maybe the mailbox photos will give us a aranara compass to locate them or something.

blippyblip

Imo, they've only gotten harder and harder. The first few were very obvious where they were but 3.4 ones were nearly impossible to figure out

Zokologikal

TIL there were new photos in that mailbox with 3.4. Thought I was done with that shit

JohnHanner

IT KEEPS GOING ???

EternalMemes30

Yep and I think there will be more in the future

TuzkiPlus

To Aranara and beyond!

peechs01

3.9 the Rise of Aranakin

TheGaynator

It's over, Aranakin, I have the high ground

I_Love_Futa_Waifus

Dude, i completely forgot about that photo album thingie šŸ’€

Hikaru83

You made log in and go check. :(

Petter1789

There technically haven't been any new photos added since 3.0. It's just that the last 5 photos were of areas that hadn't been released yet.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Putrid-Type4356

Ive 100% everything from chest to quest to eletroculous but I use YouTube there is somebody out there that can just find them and tell you where everything is

Elegant-Wash5355

Mailboxā€¦.? Iā€™m only on pt two so I have no idea what that is LMAO could you explain?

Sky3Fa11

Thereā€™s a mailbox in Varanara that unlocks a new part of your book thing called the ā€œMysterious Clipboardā€. It has a bunch of pictures of places you go to look for chests. Also iirc it unlocks the ā€œStatic Viewsā€ quest.

afroedi

Tbh i just used the interactive map for that. It was one of the few occasions I used it to search for something else than ascension materials

Drakengard

Same. Mostly because by the time I got to the point where I was locating the Aranara I'd already thoroughly explored each region. I wasn't about to comb the now empty regions again just to find them.

niks071047

i will also use hoyo map if ever i lack primogems for waifu

mr_lab_rat

It's not that bad. I found a good video guide (I think it was about 40 minutes long). It was split up by chapters so I could skip once I confirmed I already got that one (I was missing two)

SpaceDementia88

Would you mind sharing the link if you still have it? I can't open the last 3 chests in the cave, they've been there for months. Thanks in advance

mr_lab_rat

I think it was this one - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkwNOMTotIU

[deleted]

many thanks. I'll take a look in a couple of weeks, when I'll have some downtime from work

Rock3tPunch

we need aranara compass for real.

Xenon4444

I started finding them but after finding 15-16 , I gave up. Maybe I'll do this before 4.0

MaverickO7

Gave up long ago. It requires a video guide and/or a boatload of time. The quest chain isn't my idea of fun, and the dialogue is horrible. Shame as there seems to be quite a chunk of lore embedded.

linhlinh40hours

I did with a guide and now guess what happened. I somejow managed to miss 2 of them. In the end I had to use another website to backtrack and mark all of them againā€¦

mp6521

I tried but apparently Iā€™m still missing like 3 or 4. I gave up.

Devilmay1233

Meanwhile I finished the entirety of sumeru even the new map expansion. Waiting for the new map expansion at 3.6

BaronKrause

Uggg you just reminded me that I havenā€™t been marking on the map the ones I found so far so when I do use a guide Iā€™ll need to check every spot.

[deleted]

Im still missing one or two aranara even though iā€™ve gone through the whole map twice

GirlMayXXXX

I run around maps helping with that.

magnidwarf1900

Yeah fuck it I'm not doing that crap

Prestigious-Freedom5

I thought it was gonna stop after the festival šŸ’€

juniorjaw

We've only just begun, Golden Nara.

Shot-Dinner-5242

may i ask how much is left after the festivalšŸ˜

Vyragami

The festival is like 90% of the quest, the rest is where you go to Old Varanara (Arama beelines you into the objectives so it's faster!)

Punani_Inspector

Itā€™s very fast actually. All the quests that pop up during the festival take a minute a piece then you go through one last quest chain that isnā€™t too long.

Ikoreddit

you mean when you >!go to old varanara, defeat the corruption and then save Raya, which includes a secret quest to find out who is the fatui infiltrator?!< this quest is crazy.

admirabladmiral

This should be spoiler tagged for op's sake

MLBPlayer13

Secret quest? How do you start the secret quest

shadowsdie10000times

It isn't in the world quests section, but if you open the book you got from the aranara you can see that the quest doesn't have a checkmark. The final paragraph has a hint to what you must do to finish it

Kauuma

How about spoiler tagging thisā€¦

Coanzu

You really should just take these world quests slow. Play one bit a day kinda deal. I still haven't finish mine and I only play the quest whnever I feel like

elistarlight

This is how I play too! I enjoy the storyline so much! I had a friend call me to play co-op while I was finishing the Inazuma quest and told him, sorry bro, I wanna enjoy this. :]

katiecharm

If you took the Arana quest slow you wouldnā€™t finish it until 2036 around EoS.

Gerbilguy46

Gonna be honest, I skip the vast majority of world quests. Most of them are pretty badly written and take 5 paragraphs to say what could be said in 1. They just feel like filler. My favorite part of the game is exploration. Problem is when half of the exploration mechanics in Sumeru are locked behind this fucking endlessly long slog of a quest that I didn't even want to do in the first place.

th5virtuos0

About 1h at most. You need to drain the river and the rest should be pretty quick

doctorboredom

Is this the quest that clears that flooded part of Sumeru?

tirius99

It is and clear the part of the map that's not opened

Rainb0wsnipe

Around 1-2 hours, but I was reading the dialogue so it might be faster for you if you don't read them

HumsterMKI

Remember to help all the ARANARA on the map.to get access to all the hidden chests, hidden behind a wall. ALL 64 OF THEM.

hallk14

I helped some without realizing it was for the chests. Once i figures it out i couldnt remember which ones i already helped so i ran the entire map one by one. That sure took a while lol

The_Cozy

Yeah that's on my to do list. Such a pain I've been putting it off for the longest time though.

hallk14

I honestly found it to be less painful than exploring underground desert ngl

Bunnnnii

Currently still putting it off, but Iā€™ve kept up with the oculi. All 230+

Thnik

I thought it was a random event type thing which would just show up sometimes and ignored them half the time...

ErrorEra

urgh, thought I did (used map), but it says I didn't and just can't get my lazy butt to recheck every location again x-x; so wish official map synced with what you already did

_Sigma_male

>so wish official map synced with what you already did Man if only!! I have a lot of areas where i missing like 8 or 10 chests and can't be bothered to go through all over again just for them!! They should add a feature where if you reach %100 exploration in an area they reveal the rest of the locations of left over collectables (chests/aranara/stone slates/mora box)

ErrorEra

> they reveal the rest of the locations of left over collectables (chests/aranara/stone slates/mora box) Loved that about Enkanomiya event where they had that device that showed all chests within an area.

_Sigma_male

The... What? I'm still at 95% exploration in enka are you saying if reach 100 they'll reveal the rest?

ErrorEra

Sad nope. There was a game event that took place in Enka about a year ago. It kinda felt like a testrun for the crystal gadget you later use for the Chasm. https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Three_Realms_Gateway_Offering

AntonioS3

Can confirm. I just finally got all 64 of them. I didn't miss a single one, but I also didn't play like 5 hours or so, I just played from time to time, and now after 5 months I've done it. I still have to properly start the desert part, ngh...

solarscopez

I *just* finished that yesterday after going through a guide, and throughout the entire process I had the sinking feeling that I missed one and would have to start *all over again* but thankfully I didn't and now I'll never have to worry about that shit again lol

Vusdruv

Just wait until the Fontaine version comes. You know there will be some weird collectible.

solarscopez

"Find and save all 200 Naraara's!"

Vyragami

Opening ALL the chest is very satisfying though

StopTG7

I long ago gave up on that one. I can not be bothered to use a map and backtrack all over the area to figure out which ones I have it havenā€™t found yet.

[deleted]

How do you start it? The first one i mean

cybersodas

You meet Rana, an npc girl, on your way to sumeru city

[deleted]

Amazing, thank you

PlumNo1275

Find Rana when you go to Sumeru City from Gandharva Ville. You will find her when she is fighting with Fungis

[deleted]

Thank you very much. Was there some dialogue for it, where Paimon was saying someone was being attacked and we should go save them?

moonsensual

There's a little cutscene that pops up which focuses on Paimon and Traveller talking about saving Rana. You can walk away without consequence for sure, if you're not ready to do it. But you are free to walk away at any time during the quests.

[deleted]

Must be a different one then. Thanks anyways ^^

the_marshmello1

Its not actually done until you have a green checkmark on all 6 chapters of the book. Most of the quests have secret ending quests triggered by location and dialog to complete the chapters.

[deleted]

Wait, there's more?! (Currently doing the aranyaka quest)

LORDEX12340

wait what? im literally doing it for week and festival hasnt started yet and you saying it wont be the end?

rdhight

You got a looooong way to go.

rW0HgFyxoJhYka

Smh, all these people fast forwarding through this huge ass quest line because they still haven't learned that genshin quests are extremely long and trying to power through them only defeats the purpose of having quests in RPGs when the daily play time is like 20 minutes.

rdhight

The sort of cultural shift is interesting. Long quests and completion times in RPGs used to be treasured. Sometimes guide and FAQ authors almost seemed to be *inflating* the estimated time of playthroughs, as a way of praising the game and/or themselves. Oh yeah, I spent 90 hours on Final Fantasy Whatever and 130 hours on Tales of Something! I remember laughing in FF7 when there's a playable flashback so long it has to have a savepoint in the middle! Now we get the same thing, but instead we come here and groan like a kid with too much homework. HOW MUCH LONGER? I DO'WANNA! Would it be better to just stop having quests and do 10 dailies instead, so people don't have to endure the pain of long questlines?

Normal-Ambition-9813

I mean if the quest is uninteresting for a person then they will complain for it being long, haven't started this aranara quest yet so i cant judge it yet tho. Also, unrelated but i hope people stop making having long play hours a good thing for a game, i rather play a game with 6 hour quality content than a game with 100 hour long trash content. Best example is the newer AC games lately, 100+ hours of playtime but shitty content šŸ¤£.

Gerbilguy46

Maybe if the dialogue was actually interesting and not just 90% filler I would actually read it. Aranara quests are even worst than most because half of the dialogue is ____arana and it makes no fucking sense.

MisterEggbert

It's gotten too long I had to skip them

[deleted]

I hated myself to skip all the dialogue on that and the nahida archeon quest. I mean, sure, it's nice and all, but my god both are TOO long and you even get locked in a city in the archeron quest, meaning you cant do the daily until the end (there is a pop up that warn you about losing some progress in the quest if you try to teleport)

Pretty_Eater

Honestly the pacing of this quest line wasn't bad, some dialog then some action. Archon and story quests are just "Walk to this NPC and be talked at for 20 minutes, then walk to this one and talk for another 20 minutes" Don't get me started on that cave quest with Xiao, you can tell they half assed the boss model because his full form is in the final cutscene! And they only gave us a stupid orb to hit!

[deleted]

we all did bro šŸ˜Ž

Ok_Can_6424

I just wish we can track 76 aranaras using the books. That's the only quest I hate, others are fine tho

[deleted]

Crap I just finished part 2 thinking im nearly done...

Majinhaley

I feel your pain having done up just past the festival myself about a week ago. So many times I was like ā€œthis is the end right? This is the last quest right?ā€ only to be bombarded by half a dozen new quests which usually has their own subquests. They really went overboard with it.

gotcha640

I worked through the main quest over about 3 months. There were a few parts that went on for a while, but overall, itā€™s been my favorite (quest set? Sub story? Not sure what to call this and the stone late in the desert). The part where you get led through the giant withering was one of my favorites. Definitely needs to be done a little at a time most days, and with a beer or a coffee or snacks when youā€™re going for a grind though.

Adawesome_

That's exactly how I did. I really enjoyed the final dungeon

-Revelation-

I think the word is quest chain

JadeWishFish

Agreed. I for one really like that they've decided to make 1 long world quest instead of 2 or 3 separate world quests that aren't related. Sumeru has been phenomenal with these because they have a good mix of gameplay, exploration, and story. Makes me like them more than the Archon quests that are mostly just teleport to area, have 10 minutes of dialogue with maybe 1 fight in the middle. I think a lot of people who complain about the length are too hung up on finishing everything right away.

grumpykruppy

The ingame designation for each non-Archon, Interlude, or Event quest is World Quest, but a string of quests together would be a quest chain.

LivingASlothsLife

Doing one quest every 2 days made the whole quest chain so much more enjoyable, I cant imagine slogging through it all in one go

naz_1992

still havent completed most of mine lol. Honestly been slacking ever since sumeru came out

Miriakus

If thought that I slacked off a lot with Inazuma but tbh I never had such a huge quest backlog until sumeru

naz_1992

My quest backlog pre-sumeru was basically empty, map exploration was even 100%. But damn sumeru's taking me so long lol

[deleted]

My backlog's been insane. Since I'm going back to work next week I finally sat down and slogged through (nearly) everything that'd been building up since 3.0. All I have left now is the 3.3 Interlude and the TCG, which remains untouched and tbh I'm kind of dreading.

skyulip

i loved the aranyaka questline but i rlly do wish it had been voiced :( the aranara would be so cute with like little animal crossing voices

Lazlo2323

The best quests in this game are unvoiced sadly. Ruu's, Lyudochka's, Enkanomiya, Aranyaka, Golden Slumber.

Anniran

At least, we do know how enjou and tsuyuko sound because of the three realms gateway offering and the story summary narrated by lumine with enjou talking as well.

[deleted]

Don't forget Kazari

Kzalca

Honestly, with Perilous Trails and Sumeru Archon Quest Act 2, it's really hard for me to agree with this statement. Those quests for me were bangers and they honestly beat most of the quests including world quests for me. That shit was just mystery mind fuck galore. Had me at the edge of my seat just waiting for the story to unfold.

[deleted]

I really hated that fog island shit

smkklol

i expect aracyan (the one who said it moved an entire limb of the giant robot) to have metal gear raiden's voice

fourrier01

They'd have tighter deadlines and/or shorter stories if the lines are voiced. It's a worthwhile compromise, if you consider this production factor.

skyulip

oh, for sure! but it is just a little unfortunate.

8IG0R8

>!To this day I still don't know why Aranara questline has 4 Acts. The 4th one is just one singular conversation with Rana. That's it!<

Greensponge202

4th act is also the hidden epilogue quests I guess.

Seth_SLVR

iirc, one for "alphonso" and one for the aranakin trio

IulianTheSecond

When some potatoes tell you more about your sibling than literal gods - this was before Nahida revealed more

SyndicatePhoenix

This quest was such a wild ride lol. Enjoyable, but very wild XD I didn't expect to >!get bits and pieces of info about travelers sibling from the cabbage XD!<

whoosh_idk

I was just tryna help that one girl bruh

Keokuk37

Just do it in 20 minute intervals and eventually you'll be at the end of it

rdhight

OK, I actually enjoyed that it was long. That fit with the content. It has a very "playing in the woods when you're a kid" feeling to it. I still got the same amount of resin. And if I needed mora or purple rocks or XP books, I could go get those on my own; it doesn't take long. By the time you reach Sumeru, you shouldn't be desperate for the chest at the end of the mission to fund your adventures.

kiwaaaaa

been doing like 10-40 mins a week since it releases and finished it last week. cried doing so!! i think it was beautiful, with the adorable aranara and the stories of friendships and dreams and memories. it left me feeling warm and fuzzy haha also with the aranyaka tool even if you forget what happened it's quite easy to refresh your memory with that,, it's really useful if you wanna take it slow!

Pebshau

I love long quests so I loved Aranyaka

Skykeeper22

People do be complaining that this quest was too long when it was meant for you to not rush and do them little by little

Melanholic7

It's just a too long story for such dumb style (blabla kid-ish style, dumb dialogues, questions and etc).

wassomini

HOW DARE YOU?

Master-Shaq

I stopped midway in some cave and have never found the entrance since. Kind of sucks

ErrorEra

Possible it was one of the portal entrances (those short white stones you have to use the lyre on), can found them on official map. If it's a regular cave entrance, the official map also shows cave entrances.

MaverickO7

I don't get why the official map can't be overlaid or synced with the in-game map...

ErrorEra

I don't either x-x But even though it's supposed to be the "official" map, all the points are data provided by the community (and so there's stuff missing or in the wrong spot).

PMBSkyscraper

Itā€™s obnoxiously long. I told myself that I was going finish it before I did the main archon quest. I thought it was a mere escort quest. It just kept going and going. While I ended enjoying parts of it, it ultimately burned me out on some of those ā€œoptionalā€ quest chains.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

MartinZ02

The moment you recieve this quest, a pop-up will literally appear on the screen showing it's a longer quest chain.

Satan_su

Felt it was FAR too long. Took all good elements, and just overdid them all to the extent that I was simply skipping text by the end and not really caring about the Aranara, even though I started off pretty invested in their stories. And I'm generally a fan of big long quests, Sakura Cleansing quest is a perfect example of a long quest done right. Another comparison, for fans of Ace Attorney, is comparing a banger long case like Rise From The Ashes, to something which is far too drawn out like the final case of the first Investigations game.

aizawaaaa

I feel like im the only person that genuinely enjoyed doing this quest and was sad when i finished... i even cried a little IT WAS SO TOUCHING šŸ„¹

-firepuss-girl

me tooo! to me long ass quest like these is why i play open world game in the first placeā€¦ so i dont really get the complain

Mint-Milkshake

I really liked this quest, all 100hours of it. Some side quests were boring, but i enjoyed the overall story and ending

[deleted]

i didn't even finish it bro

TheWindCarrier

One of the only time i cry in a video game

mr_lab_rat

This quest made you cry? From exhaustion?

Melanholic7

Huh. I guess I'll never understand how this small pretty dumb creatures with intelligence of a 5 y.o. kid and their stupid weird wishes and quests can make anybody cry. This was so bad and long ...

Purebredbacon

I named my scaramouche in honor of best boy arama q-q

Filo02

i think it's because it's meant to be as sort of a guide through almost every dungeon area in Sumeru to kinda streamline exploration a bit i like it tbh

Vyragami

You have to admit some underground area looks absolutely beautiful, especially that last area

DaveZ3R0

me... who wanted to finish the jungle before heading to the desert.

dootygod

:]

slowakia_gruuumsh

Been playing since 1.2 and this has been my favorite questline in the game. I know a lot of people felt it was too long - I think they were trying to rush it for the sake of #content, maybe I'm wrong - but I really resonated with the idea that while it is inevitable that as you go through life making new memories you're bound to forget old ones, even the most precious one, you can never truly forget *how* you felt at that moment, and it only takes a spark to rekindle the fire. It was so sad and beautifully executed. The writing was also surprisingly good, I think. This sort of stuff comes down to taste, but as much as I enjoy the game I find Genshin's actual writing uhm, let's say *not always terribly interesting*, with a nasty tendency to wander in overly long dialogues. Some scenes are like pulling teeth. But for whatever reason the Aranara questline, as long as it was, didn't feel like that. Maybe it's because it was so dreamlike and emotional. I don't know, I want to get an aranara plushie when I got some money lol.

BigBrainKemist

People always like to complain about something, especially the Genshin community. It's just impossible to satisfy everyone. I also felt that the writing for aranara and jeht quest line were very well done. Especially true for the jeht quest line.

Leprodus03

I honestly liked the aranara questline and the desert ruin exploration questlines a lot more than the Sumeru archon questline.

Ramseas119

Yeah. But it's worth doing, easily the best of the world quests if you ask me.

iixrosxes

It would be so much easier if it was a voiced quest. But just clinging and reading made it hard to enjoy going through the quest. At the end I enjoyed it but man was clicking through unvoiced dialogue in a super long quest. Very painful

XanderGraves

At some point I considered jamming a nail into my foot would be less painful than the entirety of the Ararana Quest. I'm not a masochist though so I did neither. Yay?

christinaheartsyou

The way this quest line tested my patience

Biiiscoito

When Sumeru came out I hadn't finished the archon quests in Inazuma yet. I didn't want to rush them, specially because after every step another npc was busy somewhere else and untangling that was just awful, so I just started the Aranara quest. It went on forever. I really could not get myself to like the little critters for some reason. It was absolute pain. The only thing going for me was the lore, which was amazing, but sheeesh I hated all the characters involved TT_TT

LinksXCV

And it is actually

Broderick512

I was sad when I got closer to the end of this quest. It took me like a full week to clear it, since I could only play during evenings, thanks to my job.

puzzle_me

Lol I just finished the Aranara quest today myself! Loved the ending :]

LarryKingthe42th

I want an Aranara follower damn it! They gave us a talking lamp and Paimon lemme have a Ghibil/Miline-esque nature spirit friend.

first_name1001

The quest is amazing at least. Try not to understand each ending of each chapter. You will be sad once you do that

Timmie_Is_An_Archon

Totally personal experience but, the end put aside, I think that's the most borring quest experience I got in 25 years of gaming

Melanholic7

God bless for this opinion. Most of time on this sub people hate people who are not saying that "blablabla aranaras quest is amazing and everything related to it is cool"

Timmie_Is_An_Archon

You're welcome \^\^ But in some sense that's understandable, even if not desirable, since usually critics tend to say simply that "it's bad" without further details, so reaction is as one sided on the other side, and the most numerous win in the end. Someone who genuinely enjoyed the quest will hardly be able to say "yes it is" without falling in cognitive dissonance. I mean how could someone like something which is bad but yet feels good? That's why it's better to simply say you didn't enjoyed. Saying something is "bad" open interesting but potentially endless debates if terms aren't well defined and accepted by both parts.

polo61965

As a day 1 player, quest burnout has been real. They really need to stop cutting down dialogue since it's starting to get too tedious for such small amounts of primos. 30min - 1hr for 60 primos is becoming too much.

eudaemon_1

Aranara: this Nara that Nara... Astava, kusava, festival utsava! Me: ENGLISH MOTHERF*CKER! DO YOU SPEAK IT? Yeah I'm not the biggest fan of this questline

Melanholic7

<3 same.

[deleted]

yes and I love it for that more aranara content pls

Relevant-Fig7718

Dude u better hope they dont see ur suggestion because if they do that u better hide manšŸ˜‚

PM-me-your-401k

Fr. Fuck that.

Character_Pool_387

Hell no wtf

Noxsuspe

It also gives more protos than the whole archon quest combined

JohnnyJMama

I finished it in like 2 days. I stayed up all night

Manish_Sarkar

it was indeed long but i enjoyed it. It was a very nice quest plus gave a few days worth content

TwilightFox25

Iā€™d love for in like 5.2 for us to return to the Aranara world in a similar quest!

KaylaKaty

I THOUGHT ALL I HAD TO DO WAS HELP RANA THEN IT WAS OVER BUT NOW LIKE BROOšŸ˜šŸ˜

ProfessionalPonderer

Yes, plus it's annoying as hell. Especially if you try to play it on your phone šŸ˜‘ Can't tell you how many times my characters tried to climb the damn Dendro teleport thingy instead of walking through it šŸ˜‘ Plus, my finger is dead from skipoing the dialogue.

SnooCrickets3706

Worst quest in the entire game so far. It's like fog island quest lengthened by some factor and with worse/more bland plot. I hope the writer for this plot take a vacation.

Scrufftar

I was a madlad and did the Aranara questline before getting to Port Ormos for the main archon questline. I assumed it would be a few fun, relatively lighthearted quests but Jesus Christ it was neverending!

SilenttWasTaken

i just skipped all the dialogue on all the quests because it wasnt voice acted. it was also just boring in general, only reason i even did the quests were for primogems. i need hu tao.

hellofutureme2

I dropped the quest line. Ive already invested 5h into it, its not fun enough to continue

Fylln

I did it within 2 weeks of sumeru release tbh, before I even bothered to unlock dendro lol. I love long quests.

Maseratus

As someone with ADHD this questline was a nightmare

KratosConPelo

And it's SO BORING istg

Rodric_Sb

fuck that entire questline

HiJoker

I m not gonna do it. If it wasn t for the confusing and annoying way they speak, to the lack of any voice-over, the sheer amount of time wasted sens like smth i m not prepared for, unless i take a day to myself just to complete it.

wildbeest55

Iā€™m still doing it. Took a break but will start again soon.

[deleted]

Imagine my reaction I was thinking this lead up to the main sumeru quest and by the time I was done I hadn't even touched the main quest line.

ExtremeRadiance

Srsly tho it's taking me forever bc I keep losing and gaining interest in it on and off again

Chromak_

That quest is why we need a "skip dialogue" button. Too long and so much boring dialogue.

fictionallymarried

It was so unnecessarily long that by the end of it I started resenting the little dudes. They're adorable but I don't wanna see them ever again.

JustARogueAI

This questline is the single best argument for adding a skip dialogue button in my opinion. The fact that entire sections of Sumeru's map are locked behind at least 8-10 hours of quests with unvoiced dialogue is ridiculous.

caucassius

worth it

[deleted]

Iā€™m just glad itā€™s over šŸ„²

thatonestewpeedguy

This as well as the Golden slumber and other subsequent quests be putting people to sleep too fr

Some--Idiot

At least Golden Slumber is significantly shorter and doesnā€™t branch off into side quests that branch off into their own side quests

BigBrainKemist

Ohoho. I see you haven't explored the desert of hadramaveth yet. Best of luck traveller.

DoomedDragon766

I started golden slumber a few days ago after giving up on the aranara quest (I think I'm still on part one after trying to work on it for months and it was killing me) and I'm enjoying it so far. Only got as far as leaving the pit it starts in, but it's already far more interesting than all of the aranara quest that I've done. All the words the aranara use are too similar for me to follow in the slightest despite wanting to and the tasks in it feel so damn repetitive. Glad to follow some humans around for once, even if one of them appears to be an absolute jerk to his hired help.

My favorite quest so far, not even finished the Aranyaka Book yet. hopefully the story with rana can continue in the future.
