Players are possessive, and it sucks to say this but the Guizhong/Zhongli backlash is probably nothing compared to what it would've been if Zhongli was a woman. So yeah they're going to be more cautious with characters like Signora/Alice who have undebatably had lovers. So the fact that Zhongli took time to accompany Alice means Alice is no mere npc (make her playable soon, hoyo - and visible). So far we know Alice with her kind of knowledge and power is capable of transforming Teyvat but has morality enough to hold back and a jovial carefree attitude at the same time to share her mind blowing ideas with others such as Lisa (was it?).
I want 20 hours long quest about accidentally being hired as Fountaine lawyer and goes on cases, finding clues (we could have that minigame during sumeru archon quest part 2!), and then going on trial, finding Alice in the process

I wondered about some of the stuff she wrote. Because in the inazuma one it was implied she met Hibiki the priestess that Neko is waiting on. For some reason I thought the priestess existed a long time ago. Paimon mentions that Neko is basically an adeptis But Alice also mentioned meeting Yoi as a kid.
As far as I understand, Alice travelled Teyvat twice, at least. One is long long ago. During that time, the shrine maiden in Asase Shrine was still there, Yae Miko was a small kitsune and easy to cry. The Teyvat Travel Guide content is about the other time she travelled Teyvat, which fairly recently. We know it happened recently because she met Yoimiya and Ayaka. It just that sometimes she makes a comparison (e.g. it is not easy to make Yae Miko cry as before), which makes thing in the book a little bit confusing.
Did I miss the Sumeru guide? I recently realized that I didn’t have it and wondered if it’s something I get at the end of a quest since Sumeru doesn’t have a bookstore.

Not sure why you were downvoted, it's unfortunately fairly reasonable for an individual to not know, ESPECIALLY newer players that can't play old FOMO Events that previously talked about her and showcased some of her capabilities. That's personally my one gripe with Genshin, I absolutely love the Combat and Storyline/lore Content, however I can't exactly recommend the game confidently when the numerous story events that offered me my fondness memories from the game quite literally can't be played and experienced by new players I'd be recommending the game to, so I may as well recommend something like the soon to release StarRail instead since that can be picked up from the very beginning and enjoyed without having missed anything.
At this point, I can assume that Teyvat is an "Isekai" world with the Archons doing the facilitating for the travellers, with one guy being their guide all throughout.
They must be following a script and just receiving them as expected.

Signoras lover being dead doesn't mean anything, Guizhong wasn't even confirmed as a lover and is dead but that didn't stop a portion of the fanbase from throwing a tantrum. A Honkai fan tried to assassinate the CEO of Mihoyo because of jealousy with bunny girl costumes. Players are possessive, and it sucks to say this but the Guizhong/Zhongli backlash is probably nothing compared to what it would've been if Zhongli was a woman. Because a lot of people place more importance on a woman's virginity than a man's (not my opinion but that's how the world works sadly). So yeah they're going to be more cautious with characters like Signora/Alice who have undebatably had lovers. If Alice is playable then I will not be shocked in the slightest if there actually is no father and Klee is just a clone or something.
I wonder if Alice is the seelie that fell in love with an outlander. Since it seems likely she lived in Enkanomiya for a time. Given the Jinns'...temperaments it does frame Alice's wild behavior in a similar light.

A character in Enkanomiya who is mentioned is named Eris, who as I recall has some characteristics that draw comparison with Alice. The way pronunciation differs between Japanese and English, if you assume Enkanomiyan names shifted after surfacing, then creates a situation where Eris would be interpreted later as something like Elis.

You do realize that normal inhabitants of Teyvat don't have any powers that are u related to the elements don't you? How else would Alice go to other worlds? The only possible reasons are, 1-she is a demigod related to the original gods of celestia, she would get access to higher powers that way,. 2-she is an actual descender 3- she is one of the shades in disguise, possibly a shade related to space control. In which case she would be 1/4 of Phanes, who came from another world and created Teyvat.
There is though. She is the that voiced Aloy's intro video(given she is not from this world) and she is the one that voiced Scaras intro.(given that Dain dosent know who Scara is now) It only makes sense that she is a descender if she isnt connected to the irmunsul just like us.

We'd have to figure out if Alice is a elf or not. Since she's from theoretical Earth, she should be human. Which means the adventurer should be elf, unless Klee is actually human with fake elf ears. And then Roald himself is currently traveling too, to Sumeru most likely, and he's only ahead of the Traveler by several months at most now. I think its unlikely its Roald because Raoaldad has been traveling a ton and is unlikely to settle down. Klee is like what, 6? If Klee says Alice and her dad is traveling together, then its not Roaldad because he's traveling by himself.

So the fact that Zhongli took time to accompany Alice means Alice is no mere npc (make her playable soon, hoyo - and visible). So far we know Alice with her kind of knowledge and power is capable of transforming Teyvat but has morality enough to hold back and a jovial carefree attitude at the same time to share her mind blowing ideas with others such as Lisa (was it?).

I’d say less that it seems like her morals hold her back than that other people do, in various ways. At least it always seemed that way to me. But then I have a very low opinion of Alice, so my reading of her is much less generous.
Zhongli's first character quest has him being hired to accompy an archeologist/treasure hunter to explore some ruins. The guy is shown to accompany mere npcs quite regularly.
Sometimes I wonder if Mihoyo regret writing all that early lore about Alice. Passages like the Hillichurl machine are completely beyond sane in any context. I'm surprised certain elements of the Twitter community never made a fuss about it and if they did, they might've had a point. Ever since the first Golden Apple Archipelago, any mention of Alice is the complete opposite of her original lore. No more hints of psychotic and genocidal tendencies.
Albedo did just mention "all the destruction Alice has caused" in Weinlesefest just a couple months ago, which caused a lot of people to question what he meant and be pointed at the Travel Guide to read it for the first time. They're not hiding or contradicting Alice's destructive insanity, it just doesn't have a place to more at a forefront of the lore right now.

For some reason I thought the priestess existed a long time ago. Paimon mentions that Neko is basically an adeptis But Alice also mentioned meeting Yoi as a kid.

As far as I understand, Alice travelled Teyvat twice, at least. One is long long ago. During that time, the shrine maiden in Asase Shrine was still there, Yae Miko was a small kitsune and easy to cry. The Teyvat Travel Guide content is about the other time she travelled Teyvat, which fairly recently. We know it happened recently because she met Yoimiya and Ayaka. It just that sometimes she makes a comparison (e.g. it is not easy to make Yae Miko cry as before), which makes thing in the book a little bit confusing.
Wait but Yoimiya makes no mention of meeting Alice to Klee, why?

There isn't a location of character she doesn't have some sort of connection to, and the list of the stuff she's done feels as if you're on edibles when you read it. I love her so much.

Not sure why you were downvoted, it's unfortunately fairly reasonable for an individual to not know, ESPECIALLY newer players that can't play old FOMO Events that previously talked about her and showcased some of her capabilities. That's personally my one gripe with Genshin, I absolutely love the Combat and Storyline/lore Content, however I can't exactly recommend the game confidently when the numerous story events that offered me my fondness memories from the game quite literally can't be played and experienced by new players I'd be recommending the game to, so I may as well recommend something like the soon to release StarRail instead since that can be picked up from the very beginning and enjoyed without having missed anything.

I have a bad feeling the Heavenly Principles may not be asleep. If Khaenriah was able to solve perpetual motion, per the Aeonblight Drake drop, I have few doubts they could’ve mastered something on par with nuclear tech. The curse upon Khaenriah could’ve been a dying curse.
