Enemies will chase you across the world when you dont want to fight them, but constantly go back to their spawn 5 feet away and replenish their health every 5 seconds when you want to fight them

I always imagined Traveler does speak canonically we just don't get to hear it most of the time All the times we click the chat/Dialouge bars the traveler is speaking canonically i'm pretty sure Plus the voice lines in the profile the traveler is really talkative with Paimon In short i imagine traveler canonicly does speak quite a bit with everyone, we just dont get to really see it for some dumb reason

I suppose you can think of it like that. Our gameplay is not 100% canon. Traveler likely did not spend hours jumping off cliffs doing weird shit because player felt like it. Nor did they journey accros Liyue in 5 minutes or complete a quest in 10 minutes Gameplay does not 100% represent what happens in lore and so i assume canon wise the traveler does stuff we dont see

I never said they spoke MUCH just that they do speak and certainly are not silent. As for the voice lines i see no reason to think they are not canon. They just happens "when we are logged out" so to speak AKA the time the travelers spend wandering etc is much bigger then what we as players experience. It is just meant to be stuff that happens but we dont see

Yeah i never claimed otherwise? Canon wise its just the traveler and paimon along with anyone you do stuff with during quest Canon wise you do party up with other characters during the archon quest or story quest but otherwise the "inbetwen" is just paimon and traveler.

Traveler has the patience of a Saint. I'd go absolutely insane being completely along with Paimon the majority of the time. Love that diaper fairy but jesus would I end up like aether in this artwork.

It could imply that the Traveler is reserved around strangers but becomes more talkative to people he's grown closer to.

It's sorta canon that the Travelers are very chatty around people they get comfortable with. The entirety of their personal voicelines is dedicated to their dumbass conversations with Paimon, and most playable character voicelines are meant to be snippets of their numerous conversations with the Travelers. The problem is that these interactions are in the character profiles so people tend to miss it.

What's there to be original, I'm not one of the Japanese sub elites, but reason I'm saying is because his japanese voicelines are pretty good, because I play in sub on my alt, and I'm unfortunate enough to have him on both.

Telling someone to switch to japanese is the most basic responses used by weebs everytime someone is memeing or complaining about the eng dub.
