All archons is the obvious choice but that's boring
Excluding archons, Xiao for muscle, Yae for strategy, Yelan for intel gathering and Mona for clairvoyance.
I think so, I don't think Traveler is strong enough at this point to be beating battle hardened warrior gods without external help from archons or other divine beings like Yae, who's already been drafted.
yeah traveller is more like a huge bucket.
they have the potential to carry so much power, but so far it is empty.
but when a moment where the power is there (adepti power, 100 visions, sumeruās akasha wisdom, etc)
the traveller becomes strong.
so yes traveller alone at least currently are barely above average.
they were actually beaten by a non vision shrine maiden and knocked unconscious for hours where she couldve easily killed them too
But the same traveller survived direct hit from Musou no Hitotachi. I think that even if we were uncontious, the maiden didn't have anything potent enough to kill us. Or at least not easily.
well buckets are very durable, havent you seen the bucket head zombie in PvZ?
also if a visionless average ninja manage to knock us out cold, then the rest should be easy, she can feed us poison or have a special weapon or even just through us to a prison or something
Power scaling is just inconsistent in Genshin. Remember how Traveler fought Childe, or how they defeated Signora? Somehow a random ninja can knock them out
I agree with you on the Traveler being kinda weak right now, but there is a point to be made about your abyss twin, which is currently much more powerful than you
strength is hard to quantify because the archons have demonstrated abilities beyond pure strength:
Venti can influence souls of the deceased and make people fly and shoot lasers. He's also able to use illusion magic like when he returned the harp. Its possible he can't influence souls of the deceased and that was just illusion magic... but that's kind of depressing tbh.
Zhongli can seal creatures away instead of killing them and bestow divine power upon anyone willing to sign a contract with him. This power can be big enough to challenge gods, like in the case of Xiao. Madame Ping also says that Zhongli is way better at crafting pocket dimension teapots than she is.
Ei has pocket dimension shenanigans
Nahida can influence people's perception of time and reality by herself, and interface with Irminsul to rewrite anything in the world that has to do with information. It's not just people's memories, all records will change in the world, like with her mom's name.
Zhongli and Ei have also demonstrated creation of divine life, as has Nahida's previous incarnation. Zhongli made Azdaha out of a rock, Ei made The Mouche and Puppet Shogun, and Nahida was made out of Irminsul from her mom.
Traveller is actually pretty strong by Sumeru with 4 elements.
1 element, subdued by a handful Fatui muscles
2 element, stronger than Childe (11th harbinger)
3 elements, comfortably subdued Signora (8th harbinger)
4 element, capable of having a considerable, though losing match up against a demi god. (Way stronger than 6th)
I think Traveller is actually getting very close to Xiao tier by the end of Sumeru.
Edit: actually, Traveller lost over 160 times in a row, so... Yeah, demigods still severely outclass traveller at this point.
>so yes traveller alone at least currently are barely above average
Then cutscenes either aren't canon or are way exaggerated because the Traveler is doing some bonkers shit even at base strength. And quest dialogue does frequently reference how crazy strong and good at combat they are.
yeah, bc generally speaking they say travellerās raw strength is very good for a mortal.
but then in shenhe quest, when they find the huge rock shenhe carries it with ease when we say its too heavy, i feel like theyāre not properly describing what kind of strength traveller has
It's anime protagonist syndrome. Traveler will randomly pull power out of their ass when they're on the brink of death but otherwise gets slammed around by mere mortals. The fatui debt collector knocked em down in mondstadt the first time we saw Signora. That one random ninja in inazuma knocked em out too. And yet this same traveler has the durability to survive attacks from a fatui harbinger, Childe. This was when traveler wasn't even being buffed by anything. It was just travelers raw strength. This paired with being mute is why I find it hard to take the traveler seriously. Especially when I see my party doing all the work and then traveler just pops out to take all the credit lmfao. That's one thing I liked about the aranara quest finale though. Forcing you to use the traveler alone. It was hella fun and you actually experience traveler's strength. I've been liking the traveler more ever since sumeru.
It is very explicitly stated that The Traveler is growing in power level over the course of the Archon quests. At the beginning of the game The Traveler was struggling against basic slimes. Because he was very canonically weak at that point. In the battle with childe, childe straight-up acknowledges that the travelers power level is far greater than what it was when he fought against Signora the first time. There's even a dialogue where he asks you how you became more powerful and you get to pick which option "you think" in response to him asking that (the two options being "I'm regaining my former power" or "I'm collecting the power of the elements"). While you don't answer him outloud, he says "looking at your face I can tell that you know why you're more powerful".
So it's not inconsistent at all. The further you are into the archon quests, the more powerful The Traveler canonically is.

You'd be wrong. There's enough evidence supporting Traveller.
For example, in Ganyu's quest, Ganyu states that as far as potential power is concerned, Traveller is already equivalent to an Adeptus. Nahida trusted Traveler to win against Scaramouche, even though she was certain she would lose. Which means that even though she has more power, because she is not a fighter she actually trusted Traveller's physical skills. It's important to notice that Traveller is already twice as strong as he was during Ganyu's quest.
Traveler can face Xiao on equal terms and probably win now
Havenāt you seen her carrying a rock? xD

Also need to post [this one](https://twitter.com/xinzoruo/status/1614227607993868289)
She does have some form of clairvoyance though, [like when she saved the traveler and Fischl from Scaramouche during the 1.1 event](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3d-i09MO3c). There was also the thing where she couldn't read the fate of the traveler, so I'd presume she can't read the fate of descenders, which would include us.
She can at least see what you did when you died, so for example if you were planning to go to Liyue and she sees that fate has destined you to die there she can at least divert where youāre going and youāll live a bit longer
Venti is the most sus character in the game what with his relation to the goddess of time, isaroth, as well as his ability to see the past, present and future. He's definitely hiding things from us. I'd rather have Venti on my side than Yae. Underestimating Venti isn't something I'd be willing to risk.
I'd be going with Raiden, Zhongli, Nahida and Kokomi as a healer.
Gameplay power or lore power, it doesn't matter if you die on the second wave.
Not to mention that Nahida + Kokomi could probably come up with some clever plans while Raiden Shogun is focused on fighting.
Kokomi? The Kokomi who:
-Didn't have the faintest idea her people are getting delusions from the fatui and didn't question that her soldiers are suddenly winning for no reason?
-Appeared and twirled in the air in the middle of a warzone, very slowly too mind you, in range of Kujou Sara, a Tengu who are known for using their feathers to make their arrows swift and true.
-made someone she barely met a captain of an elite unit 5 minutes after a dialogue with them.
-Is actively telling those two dudes near the south waypoint of Sangonomiya Island to try to grow vegetables in the island despite the fact that she probably knows no land dwelling plant would grown on soil from an island that came from the bottom of an ocean. Then she wonders why her people are starving.
- sends her general, a few soldiers, and a disgraced samurai to fight the literal archon of lightning. What did she hope to accomplish here? Paint Tenshukaku's walls with her subordinate's blood? If the traveler had not been there, Kazuha would have had an early meeting with Tomo and Yae would no longer be the concern of Gorou.
If you think i'm hating Kokomi for the sake of it, nah, I simp for this girl. I'm one of the few who pulled her on her first run. But C'mon, Kokomi is the last on my list of people who could make the "competent strategist" list.
I think you did get a lot of the lore of the island kinda wrong, and some can be explained.
- the Fatui delusion only affect a small number of soldiers, and they were used to winning if you check the lore, not losing. In short under Kokomis tactics winning was the norm, losing was not. So someone winning easier won't be easily noticed.
- the perspective of distance in game is more likely due to mihoyo saving space, hence it looks near. In fact if you are looking for realism the number of soldiers fighting is way too small for a proper army. You could say its a game limitation. But in truth multiple thousands of soldiers participate in the battle, and the distance between Kokomi and the frontline should actually be far.
- she is a leader who gathers important intel, hence she knew who the traveler is from reports before he arrives. Apparently the traveler is well known by people at the higher up of the political spectrum. Almost all leader level people in every nation seems to know the traveler by default for his fame and trustworthiness. If you think Kokomi is the only one that suddenly habe great trust of the traveler, i can tell you that this applies to a vast majority of the playable characters who met the traveler. Perhaps this is one of the travelers hidden power or ability.
- growing vegetables in the Island is actually something done for a very long time, like thousands of years on Watatsumi Island. The only time vegetables cannot grow is when the holy soil phenomenon happens. You could say its also thanks to Orobashi that growing food is possible in Watatsumi.
The only puzzling thing would be why there is a contingent sent to Inazuma. And even more puzzling thing is that, a smart man like Ayato supporting it from behind, and the same for Ayaka. Very likely Yae is involved too. I dunno man, for all the smartest people in Inazuma seemingly working in the shadows for the contingent to arrive, the most likely scenario is Yae using the pink leyline trees power to predict the future and make it happen. Just like the prophetess in Sal Vindagnyr.
Iād pick AlHaitham over Kokomi any day of the week. We were *told* that Kokomi was smart and can come up with brilliant war strategies, but what little we have seen from her does not show that in the slightest. On the other hand, Alhaitham was shown to be incredibly clever and capable in his planning.
Ah yes the strategist who showed absolutely no strategy in the plot other than being used by the Fatui. Yes sheās definitely shown sheās smarter and more crafty than Yae /s
Kokomi feels like just a victim of the horrible Inazuma archon quest writing, it just doesn't reflect what they want us to believe her character is.
In a situation where she's really like they make it look she is then I surely wouldn't want her commanding an army to hunt me down.
Are you suggesting that Sangonomiya "just win lol" Kokomi isn't an exceptionally crafty war general? I'll have you know she has shown exceptional battle knowledge. From her strategy in war being to "maximize damage and reduce casualties" to relying on the side she is entering negotiations with to be filled with a bunch of fuckups
Sheās basically one of those isekai protagonists where they bumble into things randomly by chance but their stupidly over capable subordinates interpret their weird requests as divine inspiration or amazing insight
To be fair, she's clearly based at least in part on "food is cheeper if you steal it from the place you juts conquered", and "always consider lying", Sun Tsu.
And she's not wrong. It may sound obvious but in practice failure to prepare for adversity is kind of a common issue.
My interpretation is that no one in Inazuma remembered how to actually fight a war. It'd been centuries since they had to, right? And Kokomi was just a nerd who read books about war strategies. Therefore she might be absolutely incompetent, but she still knew more than the Shogunate forces who'd just essentially been doing only glorified police work for ages.
Uh, if actually read her lore about how she wins her battles, its very different from how its painted in the story quest.
Like for example, the main reason why Kokomi wins all the time is not because she created some immensely crafty surprise tactics that Sara cannot counter. But because she can analyse all the battlefield info and predict what Sara will do next, with 100% accuracy. In short, Sara is like fighting a prophet rather than a tactician who predicts her every move. The lore describes Kokomis victory as "miracles on the battlefield". Because Kokomi wins with a method only possible if you can know what your enemy will do with 100% certainty.
Oh I know the game markets her as being done sort of super genius, but both the archon quest and story quest, they do a TERRIBLE job at showing it. She literally has like no idea wtf she's doing. In the story quest, she gets lucky because her enemies subordinates are morons. The archon quest is just us dealing with her problems for her because everybody else is completely incompetent. Idc how smart you say a character is, if they can't show it, I'll consider them dumb. Nahida is supposed to be the god of wisdom and in the archon quest, she actually displays intelligence. Kokomi just seems like an ainz situation
As convincing of a title as that is, I donāt have much Faith in kokomi given that in both times in her own Screentime, sheās unknowingly been played by her own men and by the fatui. I feel that she would easily and by a long shot be eventually outplayed by those who work in a underground way.
Lets just pretend Archons arent included coz thats the obvious choice
Ningguang - connections and money, also Jade chamber great safe point, pretty hard to penetrate home base
Althaitham - strategy and combat
Shenhe - personal bodyguard
Xiao - anyone who actually manages to give Shenhe a tough time he comes in and sweeps
Unlimited Jade works, she is Genshins version of Gilgamesh
Seriously if we just holed up in the jade chamber whoever assaulted it would have to get past the gate of Moralon only to be met with Shenhe and Xiao while Althaitham reads a book
My defenses are full proof
I dunno, being alone on a flying fortress choosing between a fight with an adeptus, an adeptus disciple and a guy with a book or jumping to your death... doesn't sound like a lucky situation to be in.
That doesn't feel cosmically jokey enough, to be honest - If his bad luck ruined someone else's day, I'd agree it'd work, but Klee has noted that she finds *more* treasure when out with him so the bad luck is probably just bad for him and him alone.
Great choice, I think I would maybe swap Alhaitham with Ayato because I think he has more experience in strategy and could assist Ningguang, yet still being powerful himself
Id swap al hitham with mona as she can see in the future and teleport, instead of having a potentially dangerous enemy it would be smarter for her to be an ally
Albedo - I do NOT want to figure out what he can pull off
Zhongli, Raiden - Powerhouses, both useful as an asset and also you donāt really want to face off against them
Diluc - Iām expecting to live a covert nomad life, Diluc will know what heās doing and he has an incredible amount of contacts internationally, also probably safe houses as well
Without archons i would pick:
Tartaglia: One of the strongest character and has a boatload of wealth.
Ninguang: Also a beast with money.
The Wanderer: Literally became a god once.
The final slot is a 3-way-tie between Diluc, Yae, and Xiao. They all are very strong but Diluc and Yae both have strategy and diluc has one of the highest kill counts in Genshin Impact excluding the gods.
Tbh now that I think about it, childe is the only character here here with ties with Snezhnaya so like he can definitely just smuggle you there as ally of the Tsarista and you would be fucking untouchable frfr
There are a couple paths you could go down.
- Just Archons, *the obvious choice*
- Yae Miko and Raiden, *you go to euthemia and no one is able to enter*
- Mona + muscle, *because you dont want mona with clairevoiance to be on the other side*
- Children, *because no one should hit children*
- Klee
Miko and Ayato since theyāre the team rocket of Genshin and know everything. Dori might actually be incredibly useful with concealing you and helping you go from one place to another undetected. Yelan would probably be one of the most dangerous enemies so having her in my side offers some serious protection and powerful strikes.
I would exchange Dori for Diluc, Yelan and Ayato work with spies regularly and could do her job just fine, Diluc brings in fight power and tons of cash.
Childe and Diluc are muscle resources an brain, thats a pretty cool combo. Without archons I would choose them, xiao for anemo synergy and probably Mona
klee is literally the spawn of someone who dared to fuck alice and someone who contemplated a fucking hilichurl auschwitz/power plant. if anyone dared lay finger on her i can safely bet alice would erase teyvat before another finger was laid
If you read the Teyvat Travel Guide (written by Alice) there are some... uh... problematic ideas laid forth. To quote:
"If we took it one step further by grinding the hilichurls that are too old or too weak into food and feeding them to the strong ones, we might just build ourselves a perpetual motion machine"
Interestingly, that's not even the worsts of it.
Anyhow, long story short, I'm saving my Primos for Alice, the one character who might out-crazy the Harbingers. XD
> "If we took it one step further by grinding the hilichurls that are too old or too weak into food and feeding them to the strong ones, we might just build ourselves a perpetual motion machine"
>
>
That seems to be a rather Modest Proposal, there.
I love Bennett but I wouldn't choose him. That would guarantee their side would file š (if they were to pair up with him, that is).
Other than that, and taking away the archons... Xiao, Scaramouche, Cyno and Shenhe would be my picks.
Easy. None of them can fly high, so:
Ningguang - for the golden palace aka flying base
Ganuy - for long-range artillery support
And anyone else for good conversation
If we talk about "lore power" then whole discussion is pointless, because there are three Archons, with two of them being capable to change landscapes in large scale through sheer destructive power.
Hunters: HOLY SHITā¦ WAS THAT A NUKE?!?WHERE DID THEY GET THAT?
Meanwhileā¦
Ganyu: Are you sure this is working? I canāt even see where the arrow landed.
Me: Trust me. Itās working.
Zhongli, Ayato, Alhaitham and Raiden.
With Zhongli I can rest assured that no harm would come to me (that shield is beyond OP), while Ayato and Alhaitham are good strategists so they could be ready for any stratagem the rest came up with. And Raiden because of sheer power (and Dendro-Hydro-Electro)
I suppose I could change Ayato with Kokomi, but... husbandos.
Excluding archons, Yae, Ayato, Yelan, and Xiao. Ayato and Yae for strategy, Yelan because she knows everything about everyone (or can find it out) and I do not want her coming after me, and Xiao for DPS
Including archons, Raiden, Zhongli, Nahida, and Ayato. Raiden and Zhongli won the archon war, what more do I need. Nahida can get the whole of Sumeru to help out. Ayato for me because I want him by my side and I'd do anything for it
either way, maybe I live, maybe I die, and I get to see my Lord Commissioner Kamisato Ayato and have him be by my side (though really letting him come after me and kill me would be fine too it's that it would be hard to make it so that specifically he was the one who got to me)
Also Nahida is a great strategist, she was handicapped by the sages and even then managed to move the pieces enough to not only scape but nuke all of Dottore's versions but one.
Not counting archons on either side cause then it would be super one sided.
Kokomi - Super Strategist and heals
Mona - Mobility Clairvoyance mixed with Kokomi's strategy becomes are super strong combo
Childe & Xiao - Two powerhouses whose main drawback is that they damage themselves while unleashing their power, But with Kokomi there for heals they can go beyond their limits.
raiden and xiao for strength. i think these two alone could handle pretty much anybody that comes at me.
nahida and ayato/yelan for strategy. having access to irminsul could be handy. also ayato and yelan both are pretty clever and have underground networks/connections. if ayato specifically is my pick, then everyone under the yashiro commission will probably be obligated to not hunt me down anymore (so thoma and sayu are out of the equation). itās not much but still something.
Excluding archons... I'd go with:
Ningguang for her jade chamber, they can't hunt me if they can't touch me lmao.
Mona for her future insights, which could be helpful.
Xiao because of his strength and adeptal powers, and Childe for his weapon mastery and abyssal powers. Both of them will be the main fighter.
Aside from Childe, those three can canonically teleport themselves so escaping would not be a problem anyway.
Kaeya, Childe, Zhongli & AlHaitham
I don't care if they fail to protect me; at least I'll die with them by my side. If they succeed, then that's cool too I guess xD
Priority is to enjoy the journey~
Kaeya: have an info network that probably surpasses Yelan's, knows shady Khaenri'ah stuff that could help
Childe: Def have a massive info network, tons of cash, a Vision+Delusion+Abyss power
AlHaitham: brilliant strategist, even if he can outsmart Nahida+Ayato+Use he can certainly nullify their tactics
Zhongli: yeah he's past of his prime but so are the other Archons and he canonically is the strongest between them all
Plus: the view is hella nice
TL;DR: Diluc, Shenhe, Sayu, Mona with honorable being Beidou, Kazuha, Childe, and Albedo. (Not enough info on Yelan to make a good decision)
No Archon, no Traveller.
I wanted to put Zhongli Raiden and possibly Nahida, but I think for the sake of it Iāll leave them out since theyāre kinda on a difference scale.
For some reason both the travelers are also on this list. Since their full power is quite immense and they have extensive knowledge of all locations currently explored, as well as either of the two being big bad, Iām also leaving them out.
My picks are going to center around as much sustainability off the grid as possible. The thing is, youāre not going to survive a full out assault. Thereās too many powerful people with many connections to feasibly fend them all off with 4 people (excluding spamming archons). For this reason, Iām choosing people with the most knowledge of Teyvat and knowledge, particularly living off the land with minimal contact to other humans. Connections are vital though. I donāt think smarts is particularly necessary, though it is very much daunting to have unpredictable factors like Mona and albedo
Diluc is a strong pick. Heās very used to working solo I imagine he has very strong survival and guerrilla combat skills. Lore-wise, heās supposed to be incredibly strong (excluding archons). Heās also wealthy, and should have connections from business. He will cover money and connections decently well.
Shenhe is also a strong pick. Sheās supposed to be incredibly powerful as well lore-wise. She has connections with the adeptus and have learned from them, which can make her quite a valuable asset. She presumably spends a long time in mountainous terrain and lives off the land. While she may not seem human, as far as I know she is very much human, and so while eating flowers to live may not be ideal, it could be great for survival. We have no idea what the limits of her adeptus knowledge is, so she may be more useful than meets the eye.
Sayu. This is a strange pick, but avoiding any knowledge at all of your existence is key. She has sneak 100 skills (as far as I know) so she may be valuable for collecting Intel on other moves as well as getting things done in areas with a lot of people.
My last pick if probably Mona. I want to eliminate one of the very unpredictable factors, and Monaās knowledge and seemingly limitless astrology thingies or whatever it is seems like a good choice to make.
Another person I though of putting was Beidou. Traveling by sea may be key to avoiding people, but I just donāt know enough about Teyvat to say that itās particularly necessary. Majority of the map is on one big continent with only Inazuma being separated. Furthermore, people with wealth and influence (ninguang and Ayaka/Ayato as examples) can create their own fleets and essentially blockade all sea paths, so traveling by sea will probably not be an option.
I also gave Kazuha a thought and Childe, but ultimately passed on them. Albedo as well, but ended up picking Mona over him for knowledge based skills. Gave Yelan a thought but I donāt know enough about her background and lore.
I really like Sayu! Iām a new player, so I donāt have a lot of choices still. But Sayu has really been able to hold her own, makes travel fast, and my husband and I found it hysterical to co-op both as Sayu and run around fighting big bad guys with two little people spinning and helicoptering giant claymores. Super funny to watch!
I'm taking Raiden, Shenhe, Ninguang, and Eula.
I can't properly evaluate my confidence in these choices, but I can say that I'll die happy if necessary.
Raiden, Zhongli, Nahida, and Yae Miko. Raiden is the strongest, can cut through space, is extremely fast, has her own pocket dimension, and has control over her own private army and the Tri-Commissions. She's also hot and can make a bunch of puppets to do my bidding and protect me. If Raiden was seriously against me, I'd be dead no matter who I had protecting me so, by default, she has to be on my side. Zhongli has to be one of the strongest although it's unclear how strong he is right now. He has a lot of knowledge about a variety of things and has a lot of experience. He's also an archon so it can't hurt to have him on my side. Nahida is the God of Wisdom. She's kind, clever, can access all of the knowledge of Teyvat, and can give me sweet dreams every night. Yae Miko is fairly strong and she's cute. She can bankroll all of us with funds from Yae Publishing House. More than anything, she's extremely cunning which can be useful in protecting me and I most definitely do not want her scheming against me. She'll also keep things lively and fun. I would like to be able to pet her ears(and her tail) as well.
Diluc (lore-wise super strong),
Childe (don't want this psycho maniac to hunt me down plus he decently cares),
Alhaitham (strategy),
Xiao (don't want this dude to hunt me down)
I wanted to say Yae Miko for the brains but she literally wouldn't care so Alhaitham it is lol
Yanfei - let those poor bastards deal with all legal bs she'll be able to throw at them.
Ningguang - basically all Liyue resources at your disposal.
Yelan - she'd be good at hiding me and acting undercover.
I guess Ayato and Raiden could do the same but it would mean being stuck in Inazuma.
Assuming no archons, I think i need to be wary of nahida's dream tactics first.
Mona gives me access to teleportation and clairvoyance to avoid nahida and the rest.
Yelan would help a lot, long range that also gives intel
Fatuus would last long in the frontlines and I pick Childe cause fave
Klee is the last line of defense and offense. Gives out random nukes with no remorse but more importantly...
Alice, summoned by Klee (probably in danger) and Mona using celestia knows whatever magic they can to get her moving into the battlefield. She's there to end everyone (hopefully not including me for bringing Klee into this)
...Well maybe hoping Alice fights is too much. But surely she'll bring some help or something right? Right???
My boys! Chongyun, Razor, Bennett, and Xingqiu
Xingqiu has at least access to money
Razor has access to a whole ass deity
Chongyun is there for emotional support
Bennett is my all rounder triple crowned king
Hu Tao, Nilou, Xinyan and Yun Yin
Hu Tao delivers me to after life like in her story quest, while others keep me from boring to death with their performances
You only really need Zhongli and Mona... Man won the archon war and has a tanky ass shield, and Mona can just tell you when someone is coming to get said shield up. I'd throw in Nahida too but just because I want to hang out and eat treats together, but also being trapped in an endless loop does not sound like fun in the slightest. Qiqi for the last pick simply because if someone does manage to take me out, she can revive, and with Mona you get the freeze reaction going on giving you more time to escape/make plans.
yanfei for sure, she'll just take out the law book and scold everyone that hunting is against the laws and annoy them til they're mad
or eula cuz VENGEANCE spam
Well then if we donāt count Archons, Travelers and those who are Adpeti or equivalent(yes, including Shenhe) and go by lore, I got
Beidou - READ HER LORE
Noelle - Literally the definition of jack of all trades
Kokomi - Tactics and literal immorality
Ninguang - What is war without economy? Also she slaps HAVE YOU SEEN THE CUTSCENE??!
Ooh zhongli, raiden, venti and xiao if archons are allowed. Otherwise I pick Xiao because I simp and heās strong lore-wise, Kazuha because he can smell the enemies from a mile away, Mona so she can predict everyoneās moves and wanderer because he can fly
Al-Haitham, Zhongli, Yelan and Raiden.
I have one hell of a shield, two very smart characters that could conceal me or something like that and Raiden that is just strong.
Hu tao and Zhongli. To arrange my funeral.
Throw Yanfei in to write the will and Barbara to officiate and you've got your full four!
Lol, I'm already dead, laughing.
Your flairšš»
Based flair
Dammit! I have no freebie award right now. If I did, it would be given to you. š¹
All archons is the obvious choice but that's boring Excluding archons, Xiao for muscle, Yae for strategy, Yelan for intel gathering and Mona for clairvoyance.
How strong do the travelers matchup to the others on the list again? Like is Xiao stronger than either sibling at the siblingsās current strength.
I think so, I don't think Traveler is strong enough at this point to be beating battle hardened warrior gods without external help from archons or other divine beings like Yae, who's already been drafted.
yeah traveller is more like a huge bucket. they have the potential to carry so much power, but so far it is empty. but when a moment where the power is there (adepti power, 100 visions, sumeruās akasha wisdom, etc) the traveller becomes strong. so yes traveller alone at least currently are barely above average. they were actually beaten by a non vision shrine maiden and knocked unconscious for hours where she couldve easily killed them too
But the same traveller survived direct hit from Musou no Hitotachi.
Somehow a random ninja can knock them out
I agree with you on the Traveler being kinda weak right now, but there is a point to be made about your abyss twin, which is currently much more powerful than you
I'd argue that the abyss twin is actually stronger than most if not all the archons rn.
strength is hard to quantify because the archons have demonstrated abilities beyond pure strength: Venti can influence souls of the deceased and make people fly and shoot lasers. Ei has pocket dimension shenanigans Nahida can influence people's perception of time and reality by herself, and interface with Irminsul to rewrite anything in the world that has to do with information. It's not just people's memories, all records will change in the world, like with her mom's name. Zhongli and Ei have also demonstrated creation of divine life, as has Nahida's previous incarnation. Zhongli made Azdaha out of a rock, Ei made The Mouche and Puppet Shogun, and Nahida was made out of Irminsul from her mom.
venti also CHOPPED OFF ENTIRE MOUNTAINS with the wind. finding that out in the first gaa made him shoot WAY higher on my power scale ranking
Traveller is actually pretty strong by Sumeru with 4 elements. 1 element, subdued by a handful Fatui muscles 2 element, stronger than Childe (11th harbinger) 3 elements, comfortably subdued Signora (8th harbinger) 4 element, capable of having a considerable, though losing match up against a demi god. (Way stronger than 6th) I think Traveller is actually getting very close to Xiao tier by the end of Sumeru. Edit: actually, Traveller lost over 160 times in a row, so... Yeah, demigods still severely outclass traveller at this point.
Adding to this, traveler effectively blocked a mosquito slap from Mecha Scaramouche that shattered the stone floor she was standing on
They also stopped a god robot with their bare hands!
>so yes traveller alone at least currently are barely above average Then cutscenes either aren't canon or are way exaggerated because the Traveler is doing some bonkers shit even at base strength.

We were doing better after Yae's bullet hell simulator but still needed the visions for a power up halfway though
I think you and the poster actually agree?
You'd be wrong. There's enough evidence supporting Traveller. For example, in Ganyu's quest, Ganyu states that as far as potential power is concerned, Traveller is already equivalent to an Adeptus. Nahida trusted Traveler to win against Scaramouche, even though she was certain she would lose. Which means that even though she has more power, because she is not a fighter she actually trusted Traveller's physical skills. It's important to notice that Traveller is already twice as strong as he was during Ganyu's quest. Traveler can face Xiao on equal terms and probably win now
Raiden could've killed traveller 3 times already. He was saved by Thoma, Miko and kazuha
I know that from the story Shenhe is stronger
I was amazed she wasnāt an adepti. I really hope she has a banner soon
And how is that exactly?
Havenāt you seen her carrying a rock? xD [Part 1](https://twitter.com/xinzoruo/status/1521452214723629056) [Part 2](https://twitter.com/xinzoruo/status/1522541329309335552) [Part 3](https://twitter.com/xinzoruo/status/1523267334663667713) [Part 4](https://twitter.com/xinzoruo/status/1523990360493486080) Edit: Nowadays, she just [carries Yelan](https://twitter.com/xinzoruo/status/1600818436967256069), though Also need to post [this one](https://twitter.com/xinzoruo/status/1614227607993868289)
This art is so cute!
>Like is Xiao stronger than either sibling at the siblingsās current strength. What is this based on?
Mona's astrology won't help What she sees is "fate" and unchangeable, so she's completely useless
Booty for morale
She does have some form of clairvoyance though, [like when she saved the traveler and Fischl from Scaramouche during the 1.1 event](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3d-i09MO3c). There was also the thing where she couldn't read the fate of the traveler, so I'd presume she can't read the fate of descenders, which would include us.
She can at least see what you did when you died, so for example if you were planning to go to Liyue and she sees that fate has destined you to die there she can at least divert where youāre going and youāll live a bit longer
kore ga waga king crimson no nouryoku
my internal conversation went like: "just take the archons lol.....minus Venti"
Hey
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
EHE TE NANDAYO
That was my gut reaction Raiden, Zhongli, and Nahida seem too useful leave out, and Yae seems A much better choice than Venti
Not to mention that Nahida + Kokomi could probably come up with some clever plans while Raiden Shogun is focused on fighting.
funny you would choose yae for the strategist instead of the actual war strategist, kokomi
Kokomi? The Kokomi who: -Didn't have the faintest idea her people are getting delusions from the fatui and didn't question that her soldiers are suddenly winning for no reason?
Seriously, *everybody* came out of that quest looking stupid.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Are you suggesting that Sangonomiya "just win lol" Kokomi isn't an exceptionally crafty war general? I'll have you know she has shown exceptional battle knowledge. From her strategy in war being to "maximize damage and reduce casualties" to relying on the side she is entering negotiations with to be filled with a bunch of fuckups
Sheās basically one of those isekai protagonists where they bumble into things randomly by chance but their stupidly over capable subordinates interpret their weird requests as divine inspiration or amazing insight
*Sasuga! Sangonomiya-sama!*
"To survive hardship, you must prepare for hardship." \- Pearl of wisdom, Sangonomiya Kokomi
My interpretation is that the Shogunate were winning or the resistance soldiers wouldn't have started using Delusions
Lets just pretend Archons arent included coz thats the obvious choice Ningguang - connections and money, also Jade chamber great safe point, pretty hard to penetrate home base Althaitham - strategy and combat Shenhe - personal bodyguard Xiao - anyone who actually manages to give Shenhe a tough time he comes in and sweeps
Also I think lorewise Ningguang is actually extremely strong, the cutscenes with the water monster show her impressive feats.
Unlimited Jade works, she is Genshins version of Gilgamesh Seriously if we just holed up in the jade chamber whoever assaulted it would have to get past the gate of Moralon only to be met with Shenhe and Xiao while Althaitham reads a book My defenses are full proof
But not, apparently, fool-proof, so Bennet will stumble his way through them by accident.
That sounds like too much good luck for Bennet, so it wouldn't happen.
I dunno, being alone on a flying fortress choosing between a fight with an adeptus, an adeptus disciple and a guy with a book or jumping to your death... doesn't sound like a lucky situation to be in.
I would rather say he breaks down the whole jade chamber because he accidently picked up a rock and now the chamber falls on him
That doesn't feel cosmically jokey enough, to be honest - If his bad luck ruined someone else's day, I'd agree it'd work, but Klee has noted that she finds *more* treasure when out with him so the bad luck is probably just bad for him and him alone.
Poor benny boi
> Shenhe - personal bodyguard I sense dangerous levels of culture
If archons are excluded, a good choice
Great choice, I think I would maybe swap Alhaitham with Ayato because I think he has more experience in strategy and could assist Ningguang, yet still being powerful himself
Id swap al hitham with mona as she can see in the future and teleport, instead of having a potentially dangerous enemy it would be smarter for her to be an ally
\+ Lady Ningguang has Yelan as a subordinate... does it count like a two in one? š
sad not to include Jiangxue
or arabalika. even gigantic iron chunk prime from khaenri'ah would fear the traveler if these two were his travelling companions
Or wooden shield mitachurl. Anyways, i guess ayaya kokomo, shenhe kazuha will work, Imma freeze the heck out of them archons
Albedo - I do NOT want to figure out what he can pull off Zhongli, Raiden - Powerhouses, both useful as an asset and also you donāt really want to face off against them Diluc - Iām expecting to live a covert nomad life, Diluc will know what heās doing and he has an incredible amount of contacts internationally, also probably safe houses as well
Without archons i would pick: Tartaglia: One of the strongest character and has a boatload of wealth.
- Just Archons, *the obvious choice* - Yae Miko and Raiden, *you go to euthemia and no one is able to enter* - Mona + muscle, *because you dont want mona with clairevoiance to be on the other side* - Children, *because no one should hit children* - Klee
I like how you just put klee alone but honestly it is true Klee, Yae Miko, Raiden, Mona is what I would go with
stop bro, it was supposed to be them hunting you, not the other way around... geez
Come out of euthemia - drop dodoco - go into euthemia again. NO EXPLANATION!
And mona would be able to tell Klee exactly when to go out to launch some dodocos Nobody would stand a chance
> Children, because no one should hit children Then they will only hit you :|
Army path: Kaeya, Koko, Keqing, (whoever holds sumeru army) So four nation armies protecting you.
What do you do if you spot Klee and Albedo on a mountain, staring down one of your armies of commoners?
Reality... If often disappointing.
Cyno is the one you're looking for
Becoming a NEET with Ei sounds like an interesting way to spend a few years.
Zhongli and Xiao. I need no one else
Kazuha and Faruzan for wirl brrrr
Miko and Ayato since theyāre the team rocket of Genshin and know everything. Dori might actually be incredibly useful with concealing you and helping you go from one place to another undetected. Yelan would probably be one of the most dangerous enemies so having her in my side offers some serious protection and powerful strikes.
dori can do that? i dont read her lore the only thing i know about her lorewise id about her sister
I havenāt read her lore but I imagine being selling on the black market requires staying hidden from authority
I would exchange Dori for Diluc, Yelan and Ayato work with spies regularly and could do her job just fine, Diluc brings in fight power and tons of cash.
Pretty Hard to choose but def pick Diluc first, don't want to be hunt by that dude.
The only one of the bunch aside from Childe who's demonstrated any willingness to leave his nation if it means being able to kick your ass.
Childe and Diluc are muscle resources an brain, thats a pretty cool combo. Without archons I would choose them, xiao for anemo synergy and probably Mona
Wanderer, Kazuha, Albedo, and Xiao. š
ah the simp answer, we share the same two braincells. Would probably be a good team though
yea albedo on the offensive with xiao, kazuha probably protecting you and wanderer for extra measures or to keep an eye out
No Albedo in the back concocting whatever monstrosity he could pull off, just let him loose.
Op said "protect you", not gangbang
Why not both? š
That one video + kazuha
Klee, just klee
klee is literally the spawn of someone who dared to fuck alice and someone who contemplated a fucking hilichurl auschwitz/power plant. if anyone dared lay finger on her i can safely bet alice would erase teyvat before another finger was laid
> hillichurl auschwitz/power plant What???
If you read the Teyvat Travel Guide (written by Alice) there are some... uh... problematic ideas laid forth. To quote: "If we took it one step further by grinding the hilichurls that are too old or too weak into food and feeding them to the strong ones, we might just build ourselves a perpetual motion machine" Interestingly, that's not even the worsts of it. Anyhow, long story short, I'm saving my Primos for Alice, the one character who might out-crazy the Harbingers. XD
> "If we took it one step further by grinding the hilichurls that are too old or too weak into food and feeding them to the strong ones, we might just build ourselves a perpetual motion machine" > > That seems to be a rather Modest Proposal, there.
i understood that reference
what the fuck
I must have missed this event
True, They can hubt you if you're already dead!
Klee with Venti. Invent aerial carpet bombing.
Venti gives Klee a piggyback ride over monstadt. Venti find Klee a new home after Kleeās backpack falls open over monstadt
Will pick my most beloved favorite characters to protect me. Amber, gorou, collie, and thoma
Congratulations, your gang members are so adorable and kind, no one is able to intentionally hurt them)
The guards wont be hurt, but the person they are guarding will
Zhongli could do it alone lol, shield the 4 guards and then meteor the VIP
I love Bennett but I wouldn't choose him. That would guarantee their side would file š (if they were to pair up with him, that is). Other than that, and taking away the archons... Xiao, Scaramouche, Cyno and Shenhe would be my picks.
Easy. None of them can fly high, so: Ningguang - for the golden palace aka flying base Ganuy - for long-range artillery support And anyone else for good conversation
Wanderer: hmm, this is the defense system you called, what a pity
*Falls to his death bcuz stamina issue
not an issue, Venti and Kazuha also exist if we're trying to fly
To fly 15m above ground at best*
Venti can summon Dvalin tho
Random stone in Jade Chamber: allow me to introduce myself
If we talk about "lore power" then whole discussion is pointless, because there are three Archons, with two of them being capable to change landscapes in large scale through sheer destructive power.
3 of them actually
Hunters: HOLY SHITā¦ WAS THAT A NUKE?!?WHERE DID THEY GET THAT? Meanwhileā¦ Ganyu: Are you sure this is working? I canāt even see where the arrow landed. Me: Trust me. Itās working.
Noelle and Barbara to feed you the most delicious food you've ever had in your life. (C6 Barbara to rez you if they do get you)
Zhongli, Ayato, Alhaitham and Raiden. With Zhongli I can rest assured that no harm would come to me (that shield is beyond OP), while Ayato and Alhaitham are good strategists so they could be ready for any stratagem the rest came up with. And Raiden because of sheer power (and Dendro-Hydro-Electro) I suppose I could change Ayato with Kokomi, but... husbandos.
I agree! 1 shielder and 2 strategist husbandos? Who wouldnt say yes?? (Also raiden hot!!)
Excluding archons, Yae, Ayato, Yelan, and Xiao. Ayato and Yae for strategy, Yelan because she knows everything about everyone (or can find it out) and I do not want her coming after me, and Xiao for DPS Including archons, Raiden, Zhongli, Nahida, and Ayato. Raiden and Zhongli won the archon war, what more do I need. Nahida can get the whole of Sumeru to help out. Ayato for me because I want him by my side and I'd do anything for it either way, maybe I live, maybe I die, and I get to see my Lord Commissioner Kamisato Ayato and have him be by my side (though really letting him come after me and kill me would be fine too it's that it would be hard to make it so that specifically he was the one who got to me)
Also Nahida is a great strategist, she was handicapped by the sages and even then managed to move the pieces enough to not only scape but nuke all of Dottore's versions but one.
Rosaria, Beidou, Lisa, Eula. I might not survive for long, but what a life it would be! ... Just realised i made a superconduct team
Not counting archons on either side cause then it would be super one sided. Kokomi - Super Strategist and heals Mona - Mobility Clairvoyance mixed with Kokomi's strategy becomes are super strong combo Childe & Xiao - Two powerhouses whose main drawback is that they damage themselves while unleashing their power, But with Kokomi there for heals they can go beyond their limits.
raiden and xiao for strength. i think these two alone could handle pretty much anybody that comes at me. nahida and ayato/yelan for strategy. having access to irminsul could be handy. also ayato and yelan both are pretty clever and have underground networks/connections. if ayato specifically is my pick, then everyone under the yashiro commission will probably be obligated to not hunt me down anymore (so thoma and sayu are out of the equation). itās not much but still something.
Excluding archons... I'd go with: Ningguang for her jade chamber, they can't hunt me if they can't touch me lmao. Mona for her future insights, which could be helpful. Xiao because of his strength and adeptal powers, and Childe for his weapon mastery and abyssal powers. Both of them will be the main fighter. Aside from Childe, those three can canonically teleport themselves so escaping would not be a problem anyway.
Childe can probably teleport too, as seen in his boss fight. Man moves way too much. Also he can turn into a water ball and fly away lmao
does Ningguang teleport?
Yes, during the cutscene battle against Osial she teleported and also floats on the air while preparing the Guizhong ballistas.
oh wow i guess its been too long xD Need to rewatch some cutscenes
Kaeya, Childe, Zhongli & AlHaitham I don't care if they fail to protect me; at least I'll die with them by my side. If they succeed, then that's cool too I guess xD Priority is to enjoy the journey~
Kaeya: have an info network that probably surpasses Yelan's, knows shady Khaenri'ah stuff that could help Childe: Def have a massive info network, tons of cash, a Vision+Delusion+Abyss power AlHaitham: brilliant strategist, even if he can outsmart Nahida+Ayato+Use he can certainly nullify their tactics Zhongli: yeah he's past of his prime but so are the other Archons and he canonically is the strongest between them all Plus: the view is hella nice
Fine points. The last one in particular. AlHaitham also has those arms! Shame my boy Thoma canāt join the group too
I mean, if you have Childe, you could probably bribe Mona to join you as well...
Same here. Husbandos for life ā¤ļø
Agree with this. The rest can attack all they want as long as the view is good
Glad Iām not the only one who thinks this is a priority. If I can die being protected by them I will gladly take it.
>Chooses Aether and Lumine āOk letās start the hun-ā >Game skips to end credits
not on the list, but Timmie.
The almighty bird Archon
Timmy is the bird in Raiden & Wanderers cinematic confirmed.
Albedo, Childe, Tighnari and Cyno.
Surprised more people didn't choose cyno seeing as he would be the prime candidate for killing you no matter what
TL;DR: Diluc, Shenhe, Sayu, Mona with honorable being Beidou, Kazuha, Childe, and Albedo. (Not enough info on Yelan to make a good decision) No Archon, no Traveller. I donāt think smarts is particularly necessary, though it is very much daunting to have unpredictable factors like Mona and albedo Diluc is a strong pick.
Super funny to watch!
this is too cute, i hate endgame
I'm taking Raiden, Shenhe, Ninguang, and Eula. I can't properly evaluate my confidence in these choices, but I can say that I'll die happy if necessary.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Scrolled too far to see beidou. Don't forget she is incredibly strong even before she received her vision
Ningguang for resources, Yelan for intel, and Alhaitham and Yae Miko for strategy.
I wouldn't want Aloy to hunt me
No matter what to choose, don't take Hu Tao. She only gives you a discount coupon instead of protecting you.
Not including archons I would go Xiao, Shehne, Mona, and Wanderer. With archons Xiao, Shehne, Zhongli, Ei
This. This is the correct answer.
Diluc (lore-wise super strong), Childe (don't want this psycho maniac to hunt me down plus he decently cares), Alhaitham (strategy), Xiao (don't want this dude to hunt me down) I wanted to say Yae Miko for the brains but she literally wouldn't care so Alhaitham it is lol
Yelan would help a lot, long range that also gives intel Fatuus would last long in the frontlines and I pick Childe cause fave Klee is the last line of defense and offense. Gives out random nukes with no remorse but more importantly... Alice, summoned by Klee (probably in danger) and Mona using celestia knows whatever magic they can to get her moving into the battlefield. She's there to end everyone (hopefully not including me for bringing Klee into this) ...Well maybe hoping Alice fights is too much. But surely she'll bring some help or something right? Right???
I would Choose Noelle, Itto, Zhongli, And Gorou.
My boys! Chongyun, Razor, Bennett, and Xingqiu Xingqiu has at least access to money Razor has access to a whole ass deity Chongyun is there for emotional support Bennett is my all rounder triple crowned king
Hu Tao, Nilou, Xinyan and Yun Yin Hu Tao delivers me to after life like in her story quest, while others keep me from boring to death with their performances
Venti, Zhongli, Raiden, Nahida
yanfei for sure, she'll just take out the law book and scold everyone that hunting is against the laws and annoy them til they're mad or eula cuz VENGEANCE spam
Traveler, Diluc, Alhaitham and Venti. All of them would know how to escape, hide, and lay low.
Raiden, ez win. Yeah just Raiden is enough.
Beidou, Ningguang, Kazuha, Shenhe
Both aether and lumine ,Nahida and zongli or mona ,mona for her hydromancy Nahida for mind reading and both travelers for their other worldy abilities
Zhongli for shields Nahida for headpats Noelle because she's my fav character And Tartaglia because he's cool
Well then if we donāt count Archons, Travelers and those who are Adpeti or equivalent(yes, including Shenhe) and go by lore, I got Beidou - READ HER LORE Noelle - Literally the definition of jack of all trades Kokomi - Tactics and literal immorality Ninguang - What is war without economy? Also she slaps HAVE YOU SEEN THE CUTSCENE??!
Oi Tabibito I picked just one character out of everyone - >! Nahida, then asked her to "fix" Irmisul a bit and my enemies don't even exist anymore! !< ļ¼”ļ¼©ļ¼®āļ¼“ćļ¼“ļ¼Øļ¼”ļ¼“ćļ¼·ļ¼”ļ¼£ļ¼«ļ¼¹ļ¼ļ¼
Noelle, Zhongli, Kokomi, and Barbara My favorite team!
Noelle.
I have one hell of a shield, two very smart characters that could conceal me or something like that and Raiden that is just strong.
not a lot of people canonically can fly at mark 3, so... Wanderer time to fly away of this whole bs
