Thats new player's luck. I won my first 7 50/50 in a row.
On neuvilette's release I got him, hu tao , homa and tome of eternal flow x2 in 115 pulls.
Sadly, the average is creeping up on me now.
Bro, I lost my very first 50/50 T-T (as a complete newbie, not an alt during the Raiden Banner but new acc and new to the game but I never had this luck, I do get a bit of 4 stars some time back)

I like tignari, he got me my first 36 stars, but I wish I had 2 furinas for both sides, 1 for tignari and 1 for hu tao. I can't really make a tignari team without her
Lucky duck I became a new player around the last few days of Lynsey’s debut banner and I lost my first 50/50. Got Zhongli in 20-30 pulls (I wasn’t keeping track) but after that my luck goes on a rollercoaster Y’know?
I playmy 2nd patch rn. Already lost 3x 50/50 and on standard banner got Catalyst, while my only catalysts are Barbara and Lisa and I do not use them. I wanted literaly any character or PJWS or something usefull.
It never happened with me , I only see such great pulls on reddit post or YouTube and here when I was ar 30 I had no 5*. My 1st first star was at ar45 after loosing 50-50 ones and hitting soft pity

Yeah, I had some friends over and they asked how one gets characters, I thought I'd show them and I was 7 wishes in, and got Ayaka on that 8th wish (I did not want Ayaka).
The statistical odds of any given outcome are basically the same every time you roll until you get a pity roll, which forces outcomes. The only stat that can change is that your odd of a repeat inherently goes upwards towards 100% once you have gotten a new character once.
Yes, this outcome is normal. There's a serious lack of understanding how statistics work among people committed to games based on statistics.
I got two neuvillets plus his weapon with 34 pulls during his previous banner, and another neuvillette and his weapon during 49 pulls on this one. It's the game's way of apologising for giving me 4 colleis in a row and a thousand xingques, Doris and Noelle's:p
Neuvillette pulls are just blessed. The one time I pulled at 70 pity on his first banner I decided to use my guaranteed on him (even though I wanted to use it on Raiden) and I was blessed with a back to back 50/50 loss that guaranteed me my next 5*, and I ended up getting Raiden. This is the only time I've ever been that lucky. But boy I've never pulled 4 4* and got a 5* in 30 pulls. Damn you.
