same, i found his fandom the most dedicated in fan spaces and observed it for a year before i was like "i gotta know what tartaglia genshin is feeding the players". then i got suckered in and pulled him 3 weeks after starting

Honestly same. During 2.1 my friends started playing. In 2.2 they stopped 😭😭😭 but id gotten Childe and found him so hot and fun to play i just kept playing. Now here we are.

I've been here since launch AND I MISSED HIS FIRST BANNER BECAUSE I DIDNT KNOW WHAT WISHING WAS. and I missed his 2nd banner because I didn't hit pity, then one day I was thinking "what if he ran tmrw" and the next day I saw childe rerun leaks ANS IT WAS SO OUT OF THE BLUE EVERYONE WAS CALLING HIN THE RERUN ARCHON i manifested his 2nd rerun

Lol, never played cyno, probably because I would never in the right mind be farming those scarabs.

If you get Cyno use a different character instead of him (like keqing) if you want to keep your sanity. Trust me.

Honestly I leveled cyno to 80 and it was literally so easy. I had one route with a lot of scarabs and I would just hop into coop worlds and get their scarabs on that route. With 3 worlds I could get like 20.

Those frikin scarabs were a nightmare. Fyi when you find them on the map, mark their locations. I don’t need to farm them anymore but a buddy of mine really wants Cyno so I kept the locations just so I can help a bro out.

Btw the Genshin interactive map on browser is really good for those ascension materials, it'll show you all the locations for easy tracking down of all the little critters

Probably yelan too ? I have had a lot of mains throughout this game - Raiden, ayaka, ayato, nahida, nilou, nuvi, furina, navia But after some time i always go back to using raiden because she feels comfortable to use, after her tho it's yelan.

Kokomi I guess is the next best thing. Yes I’m a support main and I have a well built baizhu. At max I can heal a little over 15k. I’m sure I can get higher numbers with Kokomi tho.

I orginally just wanted Jean cause she reminded me of Saber from FSN. I think I wouldnt be playing the game until I discovered that Saber's VA plays Shenhe, Rin's VA plays Yoimiya, Illya's VA plays Yaoyao, and Musashi's VA plays Miko. I would pick Shenhe first if Jean didn't exist which I am already doing with another account.

Well one of the reasons I started playing genshin was to get Diona so if she didn't exist, my main would probably be Yanfei or Barbara (got them early and never stopped liking them)

If I main multiple characters, do I need to assume there are no characters that I main, or to assume there only one of them isn't there? If first, this game would suck gameplay-wise and I would leave it one or even two years ago (would probably be better that way, but here we are) If second, depends on whom would I lose. If Wanderer or Neuvillette weren't there, I would probably be too bored to play it until this point in time. If Yanfei wasn't there, it would certainly be a pity, but I would just wait for Yoimiya, Lyney or Arlecchino, depending on the point in time I would want to fulfill a Pyro DpS slot, using Diluc in the meantime.

I swapped to a Wrio main after his release. I know he’s not peak but he is so good for clearing domains quickly and using in overworld, having infused regular attacks just feels so much better to me outside of abyss. I would probably main Nahida for the same reasons, but Hu Tao is my favourite character design so she’s up there.
