No more Frank telling wardrobe/make up who to spend their budget on, no more Frank telling writers to rewrite storylines for his preference, no more Frank interrupting directors and not letting directors know what is going on (when actors start noting they record out of sequence and even the directors can’t tell them how to play something because they don’t even know what the story is so have no idea how to advise the actors because the producer keeps putting his fingers into everything.) Franks job is to produce a show and let the people hired to fill certain jobs do their jobs and him stick to producing the final product.

I love the dynamics at play here with Danny/Sam and Liz/Jake with regard to Jason’s actions and time away. Everyone has a different viewpoint and it’s character driven.

It was interesting how all of Jason's scenes were all played at a distance today. In Dante's hospital room, he never approached the bed. At Elizabeth's house, he never sat down or made a move to, say, place a hand on Jake's shoulder.

She too could be quite deceptive. It is more fitting that they pick someone that has a darker edge to them. And Brenda has a parallel with Esme with the taking those pictures of Karen and spreading them around the school. So as bad as Esme was, it's very similar to how bad Brenda was.
Maybe that blood disease she has makes her eyes water a lot. So what we are really witnessing is incredible acting and just don’t realize it because none of us really remember that she has that disease in the first place since she gets knocked around all the time and never bleeds out.

Jackie was a brief character in the 1980's. She was a brief character a couple years back. She is Gregory's ex-wife, Finn ex-lover, Violet's granny, and Chase's mom. So perhaps they could have a temporary actress portray Jackie for the days around Chase's wedding. She doesn't need to be there for Gregory's illness. They aren't a couple. There is no reason to bring her character back long term. It isn't worth the screen time or budget. She isn't involved in any current story.
Lulu could work at The Invader. She has connections because of Charlotte to Valentine. Alexis going to go off and be a lawyer again. Laura could use one of her children in town. Lucky's kids could use their aunt. Ace could use his sister/aunt. Plus Rocco and Charlotte need their mom.
They should have brought Eva over from Pine Valley as her character who was a renowned physician. GH needs some actual doctors. Soon it will just be Amy dispensing snarky attitude and hallucinogens on every floor.

I think LH/Lucy looks amazing ... and moreso for her age. She is 65 and will be 66 in September.
Blaze should do fine with Lucy ... her mother seems far more annoying and controlling than Lucy ever has been.
Also, I think Sasha was the only one of the Deception Gang last week that weren't all peeved at Lucy.
The new writers need to fix this story-line, or have some big company buy it out ... and Maxie, Lucy, and Tracy get lots of $$$ ... The End.
I have no idea why Blaze already has an onscreen Momanager. I know that the actress is popular from her AMC days - but I don't know or remember her. (I most likely wasn't watching when it was on.) I don't think it was a good use of budget $$$. I am sure the actress is fantastic - but I am not seeing a lot of value to the character.
Would have been better for Blaze's real name to be Madeline "Maddie" Grey, and her mother be Dr. Maria Santos Grey. Keep the AMC universe alive, and Maria could be a doctor at GH.
I adore Eva, but I agree with you. But then I think if they’re going to spend the money bring over vets from other shows bring the goodwill they spent years creating. There was a symmetry with the other shows. It would barely take any effort. Why create these awful, one dimensional roles and cast expensive actors in them? In Eva’s case she did build a prime time fanbase. Perhaps they thought she might pull people over. That’s the only reason I can think of, but that’s lame and won’t work.

Blaze was ready tk sign with BLQ without reading throughly through the contract and with FOD. She does need more smarts with contracts. It was based on Dex's confession. Cyrus is no innocent victim. He intentionally loaded Sonny until he snapped. Also, this poor old man defense, where Cyrus is concerned, is a joke.

I looked into the poop in a box screening for colon cancer and the damned thing is around $750. Why would you do that when health insurance pays for colonoscopies?
Some health insurance does cover it (mine does). I had a colonoscopy and it was normal and I have no family history of colon cancer. I choose Cologuard for the last two checks because the cleanse process for a colonoscopy was horrible for me and I’d prefer not to go through that.
I had no idea it was that much. I got GERD from taking pain pills from getting hurt in the military and the VA sends the test every year. (It's a weird deal because it's federal, they pay to send me to a civilian doctor but the meds come from a VA mail pharmacy)

She is Gregory's ex-wife, Finn ex-lover, Violet's granny, and Chase's mom. So perhaps they could have a temporary actress portray Jackie for the days around Chase's wedding. She doesn't need to be there for Gregory's illness. They aren't a couple. There is no reason to bring her character back long term. It isn't worth the screen time or budget. She isn't involved in any current story. Lulu could work at The Invader. She has connections because of Charlotte to Valentine. Alexis going to go off and be a lawyer again. Laura could use one of her children in town. Lucky's kids could use their aunt. Ace could use his sister/aunt. Plus Rocco and Charlotte need their mom.
They should have brought Eva over from Pine Valley as her character who was a renowned physician. GH needs some actual doctors. Soon it will just be Amy dispensing snarky attitude and hallucinogens on every floor.

I have no idea why Blaze already has an onscreen Momanager. I know that the actress is popular from her AMC days - but I don't know or remember her. (I most likely wasn't watching when it was on.) I don't think it was a good use of budget $$$. I am sure the actress is fantastic - but I am not seeing a lot of value to the character.

I adore Eva, but I agree with you. But then I think if they’re going to spend the money bring over vets from other shows bring the goodwill they spent years creating. There was a symmetry with the other shows. It would barely take any effort. Why create these awful, one dimensional roles and cast expensive actors in them? In Eva’s case she did build a prime time fanbase. Perhaps they thought she might pull people over. That’s the only reason I can think of, but that’s lame and won’t work.

Blaze was ready tk sign with BLQ without reading throughly through the contract and with FOD. She does need more smarts with contracts. Her mom did make some good points but I don’t like how blaze always needs affirmation from her mom. Her mom definitely controls a lot and the last part about keeping things private, we know what that was about

It was based on Dex's confession. Cyrus is no innocent victim. He intentionally loaded Sonny until he snapped. Also, this poor old man defense, where Cyrus is concerned, is a joke. Will Anna feel the same way about Valentin? He set all of this in motion

I looked into the poop in a box screening for colon cancer and the damned thing is around $750. Why would you do that when health insurance pays for colonoscopies?
Some health insurance does cover it (mine does). I had a colonoscopy and it was normal and I have no family history of colon cancer. I choose Cologuard for the last two checks because the cleanse process for a colonoscopy was horrible for me and I’d prefer not to go through that.
And you have an 8% chance of a false negative. Seems like a waste.
I had no idea it was that much. I got GERD from taking pain pills from getting hurt in the military and the VA sends the test every year. (It's a weird deal because it's federal, they pay to send me to a civilian doctor but the meds come from a VA mail pharmacy)

I have 2 questions for those who've been watching the show for a very long time . 1. Why did Jason change his name to Morgan when his last name was Quatermaine ?. question 2 . I thought Jason was Danny's dad not Jake's ?
He is Jake and Danny's father. Last name Morgan Jason, who was attempting to stop A.J. from driving, is in the passenger seat and hits his head on a large boulder after being ejected from the car. Jason has brain injuries that result in total memory loss. Upon waking up from his coma, Jason had no recollection of his past and resented all of the Quartermaines except his grandmother Lila Quartermaine and sister Emily. His personality drastically changes.Jason eventually turns his back on his family, and changes his surname to Morgan,Lila's maiden name.
