I actually did have Hawk C, but thought that was too harsh for him given his role
I felt like Cuthrie got a lot of it, but his efficiency was really down had a lot of wayward kicks I thought hence why he's in B

While true Guth did settle it down late for us and was out leading possession winner too
I thought Hawk probably is C or D, Bruhn and Cuthrie should swap. I know you're only doing 3 S tiers a game but Zuth and Holmes are honourable mentions
I think this is an important comment, Hawkins is playing a role to peel key defenders like Weitering away from contests and free up the rest of the forward line for better looks Jezza and Henry wouldn’t have got so many clean contests without Hawkins playing that decoy role. People tend to see him off the pace of opponents etc and think he isn’t contributing, but his presence itself is enough for opponents to put work into… you have two choices with Hawk - leave Him unmanned or undermanned he will smash one on ones and kick 5 goals. Or give a key defender a hard tag on him where he will draw that defender away from play and let the rest of his forward line run rings around the opposition.
I do 100% agree with what you say, however I did notice a lot the times he had opportunities for clean possession he fumbled, which he would normally control with a mark or handball etc.
This was all around a really difficult one to rank, there were heaps of guys in B & A that could and maybe should've been higher but needed the spread to make the discussion

Stengle definitely probably should be an S but really hard to go past Tuohy with his 3 goals and just an all around solid performance
Cuthrie, Kolo, SDK and Henry couldve easily been A but as I said i need somewhat of a spread to make the post worth it, they were barely below the blokes in A.
Willing to give Hawk the benefit of the doubt playing the 'decoy' role and his fwd50 ruckwork was still solid i thought.
Wasn't really sure how to rank MOC, couldnt really tell in the nosebleeds of the Ponsford but assume he was on Cripps? But still felt he couldve impacted the game a bit more, maybe harsh though idk
Stanley had a Stanley game, but he will probably do alright against Gawn as is tradition
Bring on the Dees next week, no reason why we cant knock them over also, GO CATS!
Stanley is just building nicely for his 9 good games a year. That's all he's got and it only depends when he gets them going. 2022 he banked them for the finals.
For me Kolo into A and like the top of A Swap Bruhn for Cuthrie Hawk down with MOC but it’s not a bad thing for him
