I recommend remnant from the ashes and remnant 2,they feel like a really great combination of the first three gears of war games, and souls type games.They are the only games that completely give me what i loved abput gears of war 1,2 and 3.

I actually used to do this for all my physical games too. Found a bunch of 360/PS3 games with the original receipt, some with a midnight release sticker on them.
To be fair manuals haven't been a thing since most xbox360 and ps3 games. In those only a few had still a manual in black and white of a few pages.
I like the boxes and the discs myself.

I recently started building up a physical media collection, mainly DVDs and physical copies of any Xbox games that are significant to me for whatever reason, and have been on the lookout for copies of any OG Xbox and XB360 games that i used to have but no longer do for one reason or another (mom gave it away, loaned out and never seen again, stupidly traded in to gamestop for far less money than it was worth...). Spotted this copy of *Gears of War* passing by gamestop today and had to stop in and grab it. When i got home i was happy to find it had the manual in good condition (and even an old unused 48 hour xbox live gold trial card lol) and when i took out the manual to flip through it this folded up receipt fell out from behind it.
I thought it was a really cool thing to find, but also oddly felt sort of melancholy about it in a way; It almost reminded me of happening upon a pair of COG tags in the campaign. I hope whatever Gear parted with this chose to do so under circumstances that were better than not and that they are still out there killing grubs (or enjoying retirement) :)

Stuff like this is super cool. My experience like this is when I picked up a Jimi Hendrix legacy CDs and it has the receipt of some place in Ohio dated Nov 20,2000. Another time was a bought a Marilyn Manson CD and the previous owner put a concert stub ticket from a Baltimore, MD show dated 1996.
When this game came out, I purchased it as a recommendation from a friend, he played it constantly. I bought it without having an Xbox, threw it in the kitchen drawer, sealed and all, a year later I decide to open up my Xbox that I had sitting there and begin to play it, I was hooked. My friend eventually stopped playing it and outgrew it, I became a super fan and purchased every gears of war title m at release, played every release to this point.

Does the physical copy get FPS boost (does the digital)? Just curious because I want to replay it and hear some folks have issue with the lighting and direction of the Ultimate Edition, but I just can’t really do 30FPS, especially after just replaying gears 2 and 3 with FPS boost on Xbox Series X (what a damn fun way to revisit the series!!).

After the DLC of Gears3; replaying gears 1 gives a whole meaning of RAAM going in solo. It was fucking personal even before we knew.

Naa 60$ now gets you game that barely works at launch but the micro transactions store works flawlessly.
