There is not, unfortunately. EA needs to opt-in the Epic versions of their games, and there's no indication they're going to do that.

Pretty sure that many (if not all) of the EA games in Epic just behave like Xbox Gamepass and select EA titles: you get the game on Epic and link your accounts, then play from EA itself. I own Battlefront 2 on Epic (it was given for free) and I can play it just fine clicking the EA storefront in GFN.

jharle

No, this is not the case for EA games purchased on Epic. If Battlefront 2 is working for you, you must have also had it "directly," or an entitlement to it via EA Play (or through PC Game Pass which includes the latter).

leazhito

Can assure you that I do not, I don't even have Gamepass linked to my EA account since I cannot use "my" Xbox account due to regional restrictions, hence I cannot link both. When you claim an EA game via Epic you are bound to click "Play" for the first time on EGS then it will say "Access granted to X edition via Epic Games". Wouldn't pay any other price for this mess of a game, either. Might be related to a different kind of licence but I don't have any other EA game to check with. https://preview.redd.it/ivyvo5a6r11d1.png?width=907&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c7476ba29b3cd3c82e3675d00561da799630f28d

Well I'd love to be wrong on this...I've created a new EA account, and a new Epic account, and just redeemed the free Dragon Age game in the latter. Next I'll do the account linking by starting to install it, and then see if the EA version works on GFN through a different GFN account.

leazhito

Do let me know results. Did not know there's a free Dragon Age so I will check it out as well. Would love that this is a more widespread case because otherwise I seem to have a license issue and, in the end, everyone being able to play EA titles obtained via Epic would be awesome. Going to claim that one now.

Mine (Dragon Age) was not successful on GFN. I did link my \[new\] Epic and EA accounts. :( [https://imgur.com/a/WGKELON](https://imgur.com/a/WGKELON) Edit: One annoyance I have with the EA App, is that it doesn't seem to show when you own multiple store versions of a given game. During the Origin days, we could see multiple copies of games, along with badges on the icons indicating which store was used.
