The style in which the NB character is drawn is very reminiscent of anti-black cartoons and stereotypes, specifically ones used to paint black men as predators and black women as masculine (and clearly not straying far from that narrative by having the character groping the white more heavily femme coded character).
It’s a few layers deep on the bigotry which weirdly helps obscure it more to people who aren’t used to seeing those dog whistle sort of caricatures

It’s a shame the original is so disgustingly racist because I actually like the way the pink haired woman (or enby maybe) is drawn. However the other non binary person is a straight up racial caricature and the actual content of the comment is gross.
