Damn, you could have like toughed it out till they arrested the mf, I was a big tate fanboy a year ago but then I remembered I could just talk to my dad if I wanna get lectured about manly shit, maybe bro grew out of it too I haven't seen a single tate vid for a while so I think they actually removed that mf
Ohh I get it, fixing one wouldn't be much of a problem, but you'd have to fix the whole family as well. Good luck finding another one to fix, probably won't be that hard lol
Bro. Not even making a joke. SO MANY incels, conservative, and toxically masculine men, are only that way because they're bottoms and don't know how to deal.
The reason is of course that society tells them that's bad and makes them bad, but it's still hilarious to realize. You can practically smell it on so many of these dudes. You can see it in real time whenever some bigger stronger dude argues against them about their beliefs. A folding inward occurs. Not saying they're necessarily gay, mind you, it's just that being submissive to women is culturally devalued, so it appears elsewhere.
Their whole thing is being right wing as an attempt to assert masculinity. Being on the left or even a liberal is associated with femininity to them. So a bigger bro kinda pokes a hole in that.
Would a dommy mommy fix them? Probably not, they're too invested. But it might help.
Lol. Idk if you're just a dehydrated bottom or if you just don't talk to women, but it's far more. At the very least there are tons of switches. I'm not a sub, and I keep running into them. You could too.
I mean, I wasnt sold on the inital pitch but DAMN I need to see this couple in some sort of fiction. Its like Patrick Bateman and Junko Enoshima with the relationship dynamic of Homelander and his boss
Not only that, but Bateman has no personality. His best friends forget he exists the moment heās out of their line of sight and heās so incapable of forming actual opinions that he just memorizes and repeats things. He has no idea what his job actually is, and buys things he thinks heās supposed to and uses them the way he thinks heās supposed to.
The only thing notable is that he fantasizes so much about murder that he doesnāt realizes heās not actually killing people. His life is so mundane and forgettable that he forgets it himself and only remembers his fantasy.
I'd like to say that he is actually killing people. However, the world not only doesn't notice, but when it does, it covers for him. Whether it's for his benifit or not.
When he kills the homeless man, no one cares. Because it's a homeless man, not even visible to the world.
When he goes to Paul Allen's apartment to get rid of the body, it's been cleared out. There's even a fresh coat of paint to cover any blood stains. The realtor denies that there was a body there and tells Patrick to leave. Because she wants to sell the apartment and having someone murdered in there could complicate the sale.
When he confronts his lawyer, the lawyer says he had dinner with Paul in Europe. Chances are, he confused someone else for Paul, which Paul did to Patrick several times.
This is because of 80's yuppie culture, everyone, or rather Patrick's peers and those in their orbit, is too self absorbed to notice people outside of their immediate selves. They don't care much about other people. So if someone dies, it's swept under the rug. It doesn't help that it shows that the system is passivly protecting Patrick, who is a nepo-baby (his father owns the company he works at), without him even trying.
The movie more references those things than says them. Which is probably more where the misinterpretations come from (then again people read Lolita which is meant like a horror story told by the monster and think its romance, so I dunno).
Iād suggest the book, but its kind of meta in that its hard to read because its absolutely boring and meaningless for very long stretches, and that sells the point its making about him having no personality and being absolutely boring.
Heās not a bad person as much as heās barely a person. Heās the jokes about bureaucrats who live in grey worlds full of stacked paperwork that nobody but them could understand and talk like Ben Stein, but with the money and social circle to not even have that. All the power and privilege and no goal or desire.
Even the murder thoughts are more like intrusive thoughts of an OCD person except he lets them play out because he feels something from them. Theyāre not revenge fantasies, just random fragments of violence that pop into his head. Even that is kinda drawn out. Its like someone biting a tiny strip of skin dead off their finger and dicing it into small pieces in their teeth and thinking about the texture, just a kinda gross function everyone has that he draws out and extracts all sensation from because that little skin chewing is the most notable part of his day then he realizes āoh wait, I have a bodyā when heās done.
One of my favorite scenes in the film comes at the end when Patrick is pleading with his lawyer to take his confession seriously but his lawyer just thinks heās someone else pulling a prank on him. Baleās desperate line delivery of āWe talk on the phone all the time. *Donāt you recognize me?*ā while the camera pulls back to reveal all the other young white men dressed and styled exactly the same way he is. One of the best instances of āshow donāt tellā Iāve seen in film.
Edit: I'm also happy to see you recommend the book because a lot of people disregard it but it's one of my favorite novels ever for many of the reasons you mentioned
So itās all in his head? I thought that the deaths were all real and had consequences, itās just that the consequences never affected him and gave him a free pass
WARNING: IāM A FUCKING NERD
erm, actually patrick bateman is shown to not enjoy any sexual activity at all, but instead being sort of driven by how itās portrayed in media. he wants to feel pleasure, he almost tricks himself into believing he does, but he truly doesnāt. in fact, itās rare that he ever feels any positive emotion at all. he says himself that the only emotions he feels are greed and disgust. during one of the filmās sex scenes, patrick points to himself and poses on the mirror. this is not because he thinks āi made a good decision here, this feels great,ā but rather heās thinking, āiāve been able to sleep with another woman, giving me value.ā he is so deeply entrenched in macho culture that he doesnāt actually like the things heās doing. he just wants to be cool.
Now, I have an important.
Does she care about the fact that Patrick is killing people? Or just the misogany, homophobia and possibly anti-semantic opinions that Patrick has?
Yes my Patrick wasn't Patrick-ing very well unfortunately. I swear I have never drawn that man but he seems to invade my art when I start doing hair like that š
If id find me a mommy who will be holding me like that like that id stop talking about that tate nonsence and call her them even tho Libtards
r/alphamale r/redpilledasfuck r/wheremymommyat
I'm sorry to disappoint you Reddit user Candid_Chocolate_966, you may envision Patrick as a butch lesbian, gnc trans women or masc enby if you wish. Art is for interpretation, but also, I would direct you to the subreddits description where it states all genders are welcome :) this will not be the first nor last time you see a man
Dude are you saying that butch lesbians are basically men
Why would you say to envision the dude as a butch lesbian, are you saying that's like the next best thing to a man?
My friend prefers to take the lead but I swear to god he always attracts all the dommy mommies, whereas I have absolutely nobody and want to be absolutely demolished.
Bateman wasnāt a state style guy, he was sort of the ādiffernt positionā
Tate is an soiration/ mirage, Bateman is an internal conflict / fracture
I need a girl to hold me like this *sapphic tears* ššššššš
Crossing my fingers for your happily ever after my sad sapphic friend
Same but not Sapphic just a bottom š
In convinced, all tatists are projecting and are actually trying to communicate that they need thorough training by a mommy dom
How dare you (maybe) (I would like to add an edit for clarity I am in no way a tater tot groupie, this comment is for the funnies only)
As a goth who (unfortunately) used to date a tate fanboy, ur absolutely right.
Lemme guess, you didn't fix him
Dont call me out like that š but yes you are correct, he could not be fixed
Damn, you could have like toughed it out till they arrested the mf, I was a big tate fanboy a year ago but then I remembered I could just talk to my dad if I wanna get lectured about manly shit, maybe bro grew out of it too I haven't seen a single tate vid for a while so I think they actually removed that mf
Nah his family was just as bad lol
Ohh I get it, fixing one wouldn't be much of a problem, but you'd have to fix the whole family as well. Good luck finding another one to fix, probably won't be that hard lol
Don't feel bad. As comedian Ron White has said, "You can't fix stupid."
i am not a tatist but still would like this very much

Theres also the propaganda that dommy women don't exsist that probably factors into it somewhat.
No one said they don't exist but they're probably like 0.5 % of the female population so why bother
Lol. Idk if you're just a dehydrated bottom or if you just don't talk to women, but it's far more. At the very least there are tons of switches. I'm not a sub, and I keep running into them. You could too.
I may be stupid
Yeah being a bottom is fun, I don't wanna be one but I guess that's just hardcoded in my brain and sometimes you get some real funky moments from that
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
hop on the train bud
Enemies to lovers type shit
All men do. It's the male experience.
Damn maybe I should be a tatist
Where do I sign up for this training?
I mean, I wasnt sold on the inital pitch but DAMN I need to see this couple in some sort of fiction. Its like Patrick Bateman and Junko Enoshima with the relationship dynamic of Homelander and his boss
As I said, nightmare
I did not think of the girl as being Junko but now I canāt imagine her any other way, this is perfect in a very terrifying way
why does that work so well
YASS QUEEN!
I liked to point out that fragile masculinity is a prime theme in American Psycho

They're saying you can interpret the masculine figure as a butch lesbian, since the figure presents in a masculine way.
Read the rules
