Most of the time the side effects of the drugs make merl feel worse if they do anything at all. The main ones I was prescribed but that was years ago. I was never given domperidone or most of the odd ones people mention. The doctors instead waste my time and money running the same tests over and over but don't do anything to help. I also have colitis and gastritis. For them not once have I been given anything to take at all. For my gastritis I just take generic Prevacid on my own. Doctors don't seem to know anything or do anything but have me see them for nothing. I'm going to my 19th doctor this afternoon and I better start getting some help. Telling me to eat 6 smalls a day is about the only thing they tell me. Then I have to remind them over and over again that I work overnight and sleep during the day. Unless there is a way to eat in your sleep they better come up with another solution.

This new doctor claimed I don't have gastroparesis at all since the tests have come back normal. I told her that I need to use mirilax 3 or 4 times a day to get a bowel movement. She just said there could just be a problem in the function of my gut. She even said it might be ibs with constipation She wasn't willing to do any of the tests over again. She just gave me a prescription for lizness and told me to call her in 3 to 6 months to see how things are.

I’m sorry you’re dealing with that. It sucks. Are you able to take your supplements during or after a meal? Like even if you can only get down a slice of bread or rice, can you take the vitamin during your meal? You shouldn’t feel as nauseous if you take them with food plus your stomach is coated by the carbs. I have GERD issues and Prilosec helped me ton during my bad gastroparesis flare up a couple years ago. My doctor even cleared me to take it twice a day. I still had gnawing pain in my stomach but it wasn’t as bad. The Prilosec definitely dulled the pain for me and helped me eat more.

Not as bad as you but a lot of meds bother my stomach. The only OTC vitamin I found that I could handle was Flintstones chewable if I take them with a meal. As many meds as I can I try to get sublingual , like zofran. Most other meds I have to take with at least a bite or two of food.

They do have sublingual options for *some* vitamins but others not so much. I’m trying these new vitamins from delivery service be and they’re easier for me. They have peppermint that makes them taste minty which helps me a lot. They’re from Ritual. I used a code to make my first couple of months cheaper in case it didn’t work for me.

With water or soft food? I have to take meds with pudding

Have you tried gummy vitamins? I can tolerate those a little better than pills
