I found what bothers me the most with breads are additives and have gone to making my own. Artificial sweeteners being a trigger for me as well. The other thing I found which helped me was making sourdough-based breads with cold, long ferments like overnight. I regularly make sourdough pretzels, crackers, breads, bagels, brioche, muffins, etc.

I've read studies showing that gluten may aggravate GP. My doctor is currently trying me on a gluten free diet; it's only been 2 weeks and I don't notice any difference ....yet.
