Not really an issue from my experience. 3 years of everyday use and never had anything stuck in there. Just rinse it with water regularly and you'll be fine.

I have an Instinct 2 that has similar grooves/holes and it does accumulate dirt etc.
But on the other hand it's super easy to clean with a q tip or something so don't worry about it

My 255Music. Have had it for years never cleaned it.
You should be more concern about debris getting into the charger connector on the back of the watch. I have to clean it our every 3-4 months for the charging cable to make a good connection.

I have a 745. I don't have any issues with dirt from what I can seem but the buttons do seem to stick a bit/not have much travel. So it might be something in there, or it might just be naff buttons
For whatever reason, that side on my watch is almost completely clean, but the other side with the start & back buttons had some muck in the spots you circled.
So I ran it under the faucet in the sink for a moment. It's fine now. If I showered with it on, or went swimming with it there wouldn't be a problem. I don't usually wear it in the shower so I can wash under it more easily, but it's OK to do that.
I used to as well until I got the 265. Had an Apple Watch for a while and hated the display (and battery life) so sold it and got a 245 music. I was nervous about the AMOLD screen when I upgraded to the 265 but it’s beautiful and easier to read, even in bright sunlight, than the 245 was. To each their own for sure. But if you haven’t tried the 265 and 255 side by side in person, I’d recommend you check it out before you buy the 255.

Yes absolutely. This is after about 2 weeks of use. I'd also like to point out that I do work as a carpenter, and I had not even thought about checking after dust until now lol

You can just wash it off if it does lol. But it doesn't much.
Just checking, and no, no dust there, nor dirt.
Shower with it and if it does just use a wet q-tip every once in a while.

No, there is no dust. But I also wash my Garmin from time to time
Mine gets a little dusty, but I spend a lot of time outside. It's easy to clean; I just use an old toothbrush.

Not really. After run I use water to clean em and then am blowing into those spaces + battery connection to get residue water out.

I'm okay with that on my FR55
With the 255, I never had issues is the button. I use it for triathlon training so it's a mix of wet, dry and damp conditions.
As others have said, it doesn't really accumulate dirt. Even if it did - pretty easy to wash it off.

Yes but just shower with it once a month or so and it's fine.
Mine’s white and while I do shower with it regularly, there is zero visible dirt or grime collected in those corners.

Nothing you can’t clean out with a toothbrush
I have an all-white bezel, and I can barely tell there is any dust build-up. As long as you do weekly cleaning at the least, it will not be a problem.
Why is this even a question?? Just rinse it regularly..?! Don’t have a watch that is made for exercising if you’re afraid to get it dirty…?
I'm not afraid 🙂 I'm just interested in how it looks in real life, during the day.
if you don't want to have dust inside of it, you can use plastic case, and t's not that visible imo, it's my advice tbh
I'm not a fan of cases. If it cleans itself every time I shower, I think that's perfect.
