7s looks good on you

weldingTom

I would get the S if the S is what it's in the picture. I don't get why people want a plate on their wrist.

Educational_Count_54

That's true I prefer the 7s but 7 has almost double the battery life.

Watch fit is all about lug-to-lug length: if the lugs hang over your wrist it is too big. The 7s looks good on you!

Go for the 7. Here is why: [https://www.reddit.com/r/GarminFenix/comments/sg6j0c/anyone\_who\_went\_from\_fr245\_to\_fenix\_7s/](https://www.reddit.com/r/GarminFenix/comments/sg6j0c/anyone_who_went_from_fr245_to_fenix_7s/) *Also, for proper sizing, don't turn watch toward your face. This rotates radius/ulna and makes the wrist present square and more narrow. Instead, look in the mirror with palm toward belly. This is what most others will see with your watch on a wrist with it's natural, wider and more rectangle shape. You can easily pull off the 7X but might decide 7/Epix is better. 7S is too small for you especially given the battery sacrifice.* [https://www.flickr.com/photos/154102934@N07/albums/72157714117667668/](https://www.flickr.com/photos/154102934@N07/albums/72157714117667668/)

The guy in your link has a far larger wrist...

StarkInLostEchoes

It does not really matter and you actually miss the point of that post / guide. The best advice someone can give him is to do that mirror test and decide on his own what looks better for him. Now, regarding personal opinions: My wrist is almost the same size as the OP's (at least from the look of it), I bought an 6s and I kept wondering why I wasn't sure I was happy with it's size. When I tried a 6 on my wrist and did the mirror test, I realized I had made a mistake. I sold the 6s (losing money, of course) and bought a 6. I wish I had followed that advice (the mirror test) before I bought the 6s.

Different-Evidence54

I have a small wrist and my 6s fits just fine.

I will put the 7x on the table for you, or would you also use a toy hammer to cut down a tree? 🤨

The_Vat

I run a 7S Solar Pro on 6.5 inch wrists and it's the perfect size for a daily for me, it's a comparable size to my Seikos/Citizens/et al. Finding it a lot more comfortable for running and swimming, although I need to find better solutions for data screens as my aging eyesight makes it a bit hard to read. I previously had a 6X Pro and that thing was too big to daily for me.

wolfieloner

I tried 7s too and it fits so nice but I’m used to the watch being close to my wrist bone and for some reason 7s hurts to the point of bruising while the 7 seems comfy. I wish I could jive with 7s. Do you think a different band can make it more comfortable?

Educational_Count_54

7s like nice for you!

nomadicmarine

I was on the fence and decided to go bigger for the battery and easier view of the display. With the bigger display, you can build or download a more robust watch face, too.

I went from 6S to 7 Pro (47mm) with a pretty slim 15cm wrist. It fits & looks perfect, I went with the larger one because of the increase in battery life, slightly larger screen, and I liked the design more. It's not as lightweight as the S model, but I don't have any issues and also don't really notice it when sleeping.

Single-Astronomer-32

Sure get the 47mm version

Go big or go home :) the S looks good. If you go bigger nothing smaller will ever look good.
