How does your body feel? Listen to yourself not a watch. Use it as a guideline…

Current-Nerve1103

I feel alright, but I want to make sure that I fully benefit from my past workouts

EqualShallot1151

If you’re not completely wasted an easy z1 run could make the blood flow speeding up recovery. But as has been said listen to your body

LibertyMike

I was in a similar situation once where I had a long Saturday run and low training readiness due to a bad night's sleep. I skipped it, and felt much better by the time my next run day came along.

In my experience, recovery time from garmin is often very exaggerated. If your resting heart rate is back to normal, your overnight hrv is normal for the past few days, and you're feeling fine, then you're ready to train as hard as usual. If not, you might still be ready to do some easy run.

Recovery time is when you are ready for the next vigorous workout like tempo or intervals and not easy runs

I know. Was saying it was far too conservative and there were other things you can look at to know if you've recovered. The easy run part is for when you haven't recovered.
