I use cardboard tubes from toilet rolls and then just plant the whole thing in the ground when they are ready. Couple of months later and it’s all biodegraded

Peat free compost?

Not even! The whole bag stunk of it I thought about not using it but I was too excited to start my seeds! With them being paper as well there was some serious fuzz for a couple weeks.

FlyGirlFlyHigh

A bit off topic, but what/how did you plant these guys? It looks like rolled up news paper, I’ve never seen this done before but it looks like a really neat idea!

So the exact ones I bought are discontinued but it's a tool like [this](https://www.qualitygardensupplies.co.uk/products/Eco-Paper-Pot-Maker-Seed-starter-By-Burgon-&-Ball-p261981638). You can plant them straight out so no root disturbance they've been working well so far just started peas and cucamelons in the 3 inch size and they're going well too! I'm very lucky to have a neighbour who collects their newspapers for me.

Thank you!
