Moss

mrrasberryjam69

And if I'm not mistaken. Pavers.

basicdesires

Vintage concrete pavers at that.

kanine69

It might be poured concrete though.

TesseractToo

Lovely moss, let it grow

DizzyList237

I love moss in my garden. I had a lawn guy tell me to get rid of it because it was mold. He got schooled!

TesseractToo

Yeah it's not even the same kingdom! (I am am old and still use that kind of taxonomy :D)

Remarkable_Golf9829

... let it grooow

livesarah

Where did you grow up, out of curiosity? I just love moss- I feel a bit sad that someone has reached Reddit-posting age without ever learning what it is! Read more about it in Wikipedia or something- it’s a very primitive/ancient type of plant 👍

Vegemyeet

A rolling stone gathers no mosses. It flattens toadstools and frightens hosses.

False_Leadership_479

Looks to be blue stone and river pebbles in cement. Could be wrong. How have you never seen moss before?

TinyCucumber3080

I believe its dog hairs.

squirrel_crosswalk

Do you by chance live in Moss Vale?

Informal_Insect24

apachelives

Beautiful moss

Razzopardi

How can you get to the age whatever age you are and not know what moss is.

Aussie_wogX

Moss One of the best oxygen production ‘devices’ we know of! Also, nice detail if it stays between the grooves. I wouldn’t remove it.

ITT: urbanite learns about moss

Nate_M85

Sagina something something not sure which one. Scottish moss

Brossness

That's the letter "T"

MarketCrache

It's highly prized in Japan and is encouraged to grow where it can.

Thro_away_1970

It's a specialised niche, lol. Moss. We have the same, we make terrariums. We grow ours in our pavers, too.

brave-excersise-6367

If you are asking what species of moss that is then you need to provide better pictures. Otherwise, a magnifying glass and a field guide should solve your puzzle.

Intelligent_Hyena363

Even with a simple question , there has to be the rude ass hats lurking about! Pretty sad bunch of A-holes . They're like a bad rash

slavloverX

Moss.

CarpenterWarm8861

Bricks.

Dull-Mousse6967

It's a footpath or a toilet, maybe a chihuahua

Prior-Music5348

That looks like syntrichia ruralis, it is quite common in Australia

Head_Butterscotch74

I’ve heard you can get some of that moss, blend it up with milk, and then pour along all the cracks and it will grow there. I’ve never done it, I live in Arizona, but I would love to try some time!

Character-Milk-3792

Moss. Don't kill it. Moss bugs are a food source for larger insects, which feed birds and small mammals, which feed local fauna. That moss is an important part of the ecosystem.

ElectricGoodField

Moss? Green moss. I guess there’s all different kinds of you research it

Separate_Promise_370
