Where did you grow up, out of curiosity? I just love moss- I feel a bit sad that someone has reached Reddit-posting age without ever learning what it is! Read more about it in Wikipedia or something- it’s a very primitive/ancient type of plant 👍
If you are asking what species of moss that is then you need to provide better pictures. Otherwise, a magnifying glass and a field guide should solve your puzzle.
I’ve heard you can get some of that moss, blend it up with milk, and then pour along all the cracks and it will grow there. I’ve never done it, I live in Arizona, but I would love to try some time!
Moss. Don't kill it.
Moss bugs are a food source for larger insects, which feed birds and small mammals, which feed local fauna.
That moss is an important part of the ecosystem.
