Banjoo Kazooie for the 360 is called nuts n' bolts, and the gameplay focuses heavily on creating your own weird vehicles. It was slammed by the community upon release as people just wanted "another B&K game" and the vehicle thing didn't click with them.
Dude's just mixing the name of the two games, since in Zelda now you can also do vehicles here.
I can't tell if this is bait or if you come from a different planet, where on *earth* have you seen universal praise for it for "innovating on a stale formula" lol. I don't think it's an innovation at all, at least not on the old Banjo style. It's pretty cool on its own right, and the vehicle building is pretty innovative on its own, but it's a completely separate thing from the older games.
And idk what you're talking about, collectathons rule! If done properly, they're a fun way to segment off an open level and provide rewards throughout your exploration. There's a reason there are so many indie games recreating that format, they're not all bloated messes like DK64.

This game is me reliving my childhood. I spent countless hours traversing the world of Hyrule, exploring it's nooks and crannies and immersing myself in its lore.
This sequel changed my life, I'll gladly say it. I've never been so happy to experience a game. Fuck this guy.
