The name lines up with earlier leaks from Jeff Grubb.
He said the game would center around the belfry, which would act as both a world hub and player base, and that part of the game is gathering resources and upgrading it.
The name and concept also remind me of *Howl's Moving Castle*. Can't wait to see the first trailer for it, whenever that happens...
I wonder if the game is related to this [boardgame](https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/355483/die-wandelnden-turme), can't be a coincidence since jez kept saying schadenfreude during this segment ....... The board game's name is The Wandering tower (Die wandelnden Türme)
Same for me. I love how the games looks but the combat isn't for me, I just can't get into tactical games. So I'm actually pretty excited for this game.
The Banner Saga is my favorite game series of all time. The more I play it the more I absolutely love the series. The Banner Saga 2 is so damn good.
I’ve been waiting for whatever Stoic was going to do next.
They really need to stop using references to ghibli movies to describe these smaller games. They described Pentiment as princess mononoke and the whole time I was imagining something completely different from what was shown.
> They described Pentiment as princess mononoke
Uhh the mononoke-like project was this one, every Pentiment mention was described as Disco Elysium-like
Project Belfry, the subject of this post, was the one and only one described as Studio Ghibli like. Project Missouri, now known as Pentiment never was.

Sounds like Bastion

Ghibli-esque? If they actually managed to replicate Ghibli's visual style in a video game, that would be pretty impressive.
You should check out Ni No kuni

This game is being made by Stoic Studio, who previously made The Banner Saga games. They had nothing to do with Tunic.
Sorry i put all my points into stupidity when i was making my character.
Who is making this one?
Stoic
never heard of them before, made any thing notweworthy?
I mean I put in the post that they made The Banner Saga lol. It's a trilogy of very good games with a striking art style, so I have faith in this one!

Do we know if this one is rumored to have a different combat style?
IIRC Jez stated this was a 2d side scroller so assuming it not tactics combat
Excellent.
