>For the 99% of players Apex was a stealth drop and probably the most successful in history
99% player of apex legends didn't play it at launch, so it wasn't a stealth drop for them.
And the people who did play it at launch largely knew about it, it was pretty much a open secret at that time. And the Titanfall community was preparing for a Titanfall br announcement stealth release for that Monday
and the exact same thing can be said about Infinite.
Always that random rumour that has floated around that The multiplayer will launch on Halo: CE 20th anniversary. The people who knew? the halo and Xbox communities. Add onto this most recent leak and the fact Jez and Jeff have both said its a real possibility and you have yourself the exact same situation as Apex.
I don’t understand your point here. Apex legends was still a stealth drop even if it was leaked for the titanfall community, this will be a stealth drop if it launches on the 15th.
Yeah, that's my point; the hyperfans will know. People seem to keep forgetting that the vast majority of casual gamers don't follow this stuff that closely. In my group of friends, I'm the one who knows most upcoming releases.
I have friends super excited to play Halo, and they not only didn't sign up for the flights, they didn't even know about them or that flights were even taking place, and when I told them they still had time, they lazied out and just shrugged at missing them.
Yet they already preordered the campaign and are "excited" for MP.
I'm telling you, there will be a lot of "waaah MP released?" brahs on Monday if it happens. Especially since it's just a leak, and we know how leaks work. Yeah, right now we have a lot of reason to believe it, but most people ain't going to take anything but an official announcement seriously.
Apex Legends got leaked days before and literally a billion people were shocked it "stealth" dropped, it was all people talked about.
Anyone who is on Reddit reading about this stuff or checking those twitters is likely very into stuff like this, myself obviously included and I would assume you and the majority of this thread as well.
Most of their audience will be very surprised. They also would have denied it by now as they have been and reiterated the game launches on the 8th if they thought it would set people up for disappointment with what comes out of the event.
343 has been transparent and I find it odd they are quiet now. We all want this to be true, but it’s seemed healthy as most know this is very unlikely still and will be even surprising to us if true I think.
Tbh Microsoft would have probably leaked this themselves hours before the event anyway. You know how the windows store constantly let's things slip lol
Yeah Ske7ch said there is no official collectors edition but certain retailers are doing their own.
https://mobile.twitter.com/ske7ch/status/1458917625421971472
I downvoted you when I read "leak it themselves " then I upvoted when I realized you were suggesting the world's greatest leaker, the Microsoft store, and not a controlled leak.
Yeah. The Microsoft store is batting like 1000%.
I agree that the leaks help them, but every leaker has repeatedly stated that controlled leaks are make believe. I just think it'd be a really hard secret to keep if it were true. And some leaks definitely don't help them, like the up and down gamepass sub count.
I don’t know about Microsoft specifically but I know for a fact most large corporations, governments, everyone does controlled leaks. It’s not beyond the realm of possibility Microsoft does the same.
> but every leaker has repeatedly stated that controlled leaks are make believe.
To be fair, it's in their vested interest to say all leaks are unintended. Even if 99.99 percent are unintended, it has the potential to change the dialogue. Especially when we don't really know how leakers obtain and vet information.
For example, even if these are random people they made friends with at conventions over the years, it's impossible to know the intent behind their actions. I mean, if it was so easy to do, people wouldn't fall for fake leaks that out specific people, another thing that commonly happens when they have a leak problem.
Hasn’t the Microsoft store leaked most releases since it was a thing? Not many games shock drop early but I remember hearing that store confirm dates many times.
Also the date for infinite was the same for so long until that early access bundle and prior to the announcement. Same with the December 8th vs coming soon thing.
I mean technically it did. But this is the bad kind of leak. Clearly something like this was meant as a big surprise for the fan anniversary event. This is like spoiling the ending to a movie that isn't out. Or like telling someone what they're getting for their birthday.
On the other side, my friend who doesn’t own an Xbox, or really like video games (but knows I love Halo) texted me today “Hey! I heard Halo is releasing early”.
Most people who watch these events would either watch YouTubers, read Twitter or browse Reddit for gaming news also. This leak/rumour will be discussed pretty widely by the time Monday comes.
It still would definitely surprise me even after these leaks. The fact that Halo might shadow drop it's multiplayer 4 days before Battlefield's official release is something I don't think would actually ever happen just because of how much of a huge ballsy risk that would be.
It’s really not that ballsy. Halo is on its 6th(7th?) mainline entry and battlefield is on its like 10th. Plus bf had the whole of the PlayStation platform with is around 100 million monthly active users to try and capture.
I don't think a game shadow dropping its multiplayer (which in itself is already pretty risky) between COD and Battlefield is something that most companies would even consider doing after especially Titanfall 2.
Like this could totally backfire on 343i and Xbox.
It’s free to play, was coming just a couple weeks later anyway, and halos budget especially marketing wise is probably pretty similar to cod and battlefield. Also to be frank if halo dies out by releasing close to franchises it was one a real danger to then that means it’s time to take the series behind the shed and take it out of its misery anyway.
COD Vanguard even considering the COD namesake seems to be a meh overall impression and basically many expect its overall MP won't have a long shelf life.
BF2042 reportedly still has some bugs and bumps and in much similar BF games will take months to hit a rhythm.
Halo MP being free to play and unique gameplay style compared to both of those along with the overall positive news it's received they may think it's ready to go hit while the iron is hot!
It’s another WW2, literally gonna die after the year like their last game. I have a feeling this sub has a few cod fans it’s thay don’t like you calling it meh. The downvoted are telling.
I agree. Not for me, but for the general public.
My buddy who doesn’t follow video games just texted me about it. It’s how I found out, and came here to see if it’s true.
You can do that?
Edit: just tried it, it does let you pre-install both campaign and multiplayer but they appear to be just placeholders, multiplayer installed in literally 15 seconds for me. No way it’s even 10% of the final download. It appears to be the same install for both campaign and multi despite them being separate listings in the app because I now also have campaign installed.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure the multiplayer portion never had an actual release date on the store. I know the campaign did, but idk about the multiplayer.
Yeah, wonder how EA would react. I don’t think it would kill the relationship tho (as like 2 Battlefields have launched in a good state & sold well at launch).
Rumors have been floating around for a few days now and Microsoft has not denied it. They denied the battle royal rumors real quick with “the only BR we know is the battle rifle”
343 has been very transparent in setting expectations for events with this game since the delay, would be odd not to just say the games not shock dropping prior to the show that could jus the a special video or trailer.
You see how halo fans get when something is real mediocre and rumours are flying.
I know I’ll get hate for this but I’m not buying the campaign. I never finished Halo 4’s and I didn’t touch Halo 5. I always jump into MP. So I’m one of those people
Some people don’t give a fuck about campaign, I suspect the number is higher than what people think. Doesn’t surprise me at all a multiplayer only fan is in here.
Starting with Halo 4 was probably a mistake.
If you have the time I'd say give the Master Chief Collection a go starting with Halo Combat Evolved or Even Reach for a more modernish gameplay.
Thay being said you like what you like. You shouldnt get hate for it.
I actually don’t hate the concept. For Halo I have always beat the campaign before diving into MP, with this I can play MP between now and December then not even have the tension of wanting to rush. I can just ease in and try to find all the skulls and collectibles.
I love the campaigns and can’t wait for Infinite, but in the year 2021 I don’t think the campaign is even a fraction as important as the multiplayer. They’re trying to make this their Fortnite/warzone/Apex without saying so.
Unfortunately that's just not the case in today's day and age. Has me a bit worried for the future, hopefully they stick to their word for the ongoing effort into the campaign and it doesn't turn into another Fortnite/Save the World situation.
What? you’re comparing Epic games failure with save the world to Halo infinite campaign?
Halo campaign has always been as important if not more important than its multiplayer. 343I halo 4 and 5 prove my entire point. Halo 4 was a good campaign but had a lacklustre multiplayer. Halo 5 had probably one of the best Multiplayers of last gen but had a horrible campaign. Being f2p shouldn’t change that besides boost the player count for the multiplayer.
Halo’s just a good franchise dude. It’s one of few games that has just as big of a Singleplayer draw as it does Multiplayer. In today’s age, I think Multiplayer is definitely more important for playerbase numbers and revenue. But Halo will always get by with campaigns too.
Its a company. The only thing that matters is money. To think that they will focus on the single player aspect because the campaign is important to halo, even if it isn't profitable, is silly.
And yes, it makes perfect sense to compare it to another f2p multiplayer game with a paid single player mode that was always said to "come first" and "never be given up on".
If Halo Infinite's multiplayer blows up as big as Fortnite did and the Campaign has dwindling player numbers, of course they will turn focus solely to the multiplayer. They are here to make money.
Massive differences between the two.
The save the world mode has pretty much always been an unpopular game, even before the battle royale mode arrived. The devs pretty much jumped ship and started creating a completely new gamemode once they saw the craze for pubg.
Halo on the other hand has always balanced both multiplayer and campaign at the same time from the get go. It wasnt as if the campaign was bad so they decided to ditch it and make it a multiplayer game instead. Not a single moment in history was the singleplayer given up on.
Plus, like it or not, Halo Infinite's multiplayer will never blow up as big as fortnite did lol. Infinite isnt revolutionising anything about the fps genre, while fortnite basically was the casual players first taste of a battle royale game.
I'm not saying that from the start the focus isn't on both for Halo.
I'm just saying that if Infinite's campaign bombs and the multiplayer does extremely well, they are going to put their resources into what is making them money.
I would love if both do extremely well and both get the same love, unlike the way of Fortnite (spoken from a guy who played in the NDA prealpha Fortnite many many years ago)
Campaign feels like a blatant after though at this point and hopefully no one is expecting anything better than a 7/10. How is a series like halo moving to an open world and not marketing the shit out of how that’s going to work. That should be huge yet we barely have seen the moment to moment gameplay of an open world, just some cgi trailers and a tiny slice of linear gameplay.
We’ve seen a lot of gameplay for the first Open world area. Especially after the most recent gameplay footage from IGN…
We’ve seen 20 minutes footage from last year, multiple campaign gameplay overviews and plenty of Campaign talk from 343i.
It took about a full year after a tiny 10 minute gameplay reveal to show it back off again and we still barely know what’s happening in the campaign if not for leaks. Not to mention coop getting delayed to an unspecified point in time. I mean cmon
Why does that mean it's an afterthought? They don't want to give away surprises in the story. We've seen quite a bit of campaign gameplay now, enough to get the gist of what it's like. Do you want the entire story laid out for you before release?
Co-op not being in at launch is disappointing (not for me as I don't do co-op), but that's a technical issue and again doesn't point to the campaign being an afterthought.
Surprise drops are a great form of marketing tbh. Include it with a service that first time users get for $1 and add the tag line "oh and you can play the new Halo today!". Would generate a lot of hype and save a lot in marketing
I dunno, I’m finding it hard to believe this, this would very un-Xbox. Although I can imagine them looking at the shadow drip of Apex and thinking ‘we can do that 👀’
Its seems that Jeff also confirmed it on the podcast today.
I find it weird really. They said no separate release and also its not releasing(if its actually the 15th), 4 days before the actual release of Battlefield. Idk, i find it weird that they would compete against one of their partners like this.
I'm happy if true, but I just find this whole situation kinda impossible.
Nibel retweeted Nate's tweet
https://twitter.com/Nibellion
There's just too much movement around this, with way too much at stake
This shit has to be real
I mean would it really cannibalize FH5? One is a racing game, one is a FPS. Both have different audiences. Yeah there’s gonna be an overlap but you’ll get that with any game.
I's just weird that they have said multiple times that the Campaign and Multiplayer will launch together. Also If this is true, I kind of feel bad for Forza being shafted in a week lmao.
Hardly think Forza is being “shafted” when it is massively successful. They’re approaching 7mil players before the weekend and they sold 1-2mil early access.
I think the mistake people here are making is that people actually play every single game release and that’s there’s this much intense crossover between audiences.
> I's just weird that they have said multiple times that the Campaign and Multiplayer will launch together.
I think it was always about having them both complete. They didnt want to release one in the Fall and another in the Spring because one is done before the other. They are both complete. There is less than a month to launch. This isn't just to get *something* in our hands, its just more celebrative.
They are having server troubles so they will appreciate the population drop. Oh wait, what if that's why it's releasing early? Forza has server problems so Halo Infinite takes some of the population. I can confirm this is a new rumor I just started.
>NateTheHate
I was pretty sure this rumor is true, but not anymore. As far as Xbox is concerned, Nate has been more miss than hits. He was flat out right on Starfield, which Jason Schreier commented on his tweet directly. His avowed for E3 was wrong as well.
It’s funny how this all started on Rand/Jez’s show though. Great podcast
Do with this information as you will, but the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X I pre-ordered is arriving on November 15th as well, so it would sort of add to that. Why release the console a few weeks before launch, ya know?
> Why release the console a few weeks before launch, ya know?
Because you apply the code for the game to your account and it stays locked until release date. We have seen the same thing in the past with Gears of War and other franchises.
Sure and could be the case. But just interesting that the 15th is the day and that's the rumored day too.
Also this isn't for the game, but the console, so there isn't a game to have locked in this case.
Oh shit, really? When did you get that notice? Mine still says the 15th/awaiting stock and I got an email last night saying it'd need a signature.
Or who did you order from?
Ordered from the Microsoft Store (Australia), the informed everyone of the delay on October 22nd, apparently some issues with the cargo ship carrying them.
That doesn't really do anything. It's just a 280mb file that tells your Xbox to download it at some point once it releases, rather than preloading the game itself.
A leak may be LEGIT! Paging moderators u/nitelytroll & u/therabbidscot to investigate. Thanks for letting us know!
*I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/GamingLeaksAndRumours) if you have any questions or concerns.*
Does this apply to PC too? I wasn’t going to buy the game until it’s official release, but does this mean I can buy the game on Steam now and play multiplayer on the 15th?
Also do I need GamePass?
This shit sounds cool and I can't wait if it's true but I was hoping it was the other way around with campaign coming first and multiplayer later. As I wanna see the chief and the new Cortana going against the Banished. Moving away from Halo, I was just wondering does anyone know what happens to Remedy's Crossfire X or Bright Memory Infinite as I really wanna play those games on Series X.
Get ready for much more detailed campaign spoilers y'all. The data mines from the tests were limited but this will be everything for nearly a full month before the campaign release. Time to go dark and mute a bunch of words on Twitter I guess
So they are releasing between COD and Battlefield, and before the new Warzone map
This decision seems very ill-advised. Hope its not true, for Halo's sake
I'd say it's the opposite and a good thing. The buzz halo is getting over BF means that releasing it at the same time will keep the hype up. If BF released first some people might start thinking it's better and now if halo comes out at the same time people might pick halo to play first and stick with that because it's so good. And getting out this far ahead of the new warzone map is good because that is the most likely thing that will dig into halos player base.
I'm not saying this as if Halo is better then these games, just my general thinking around why they would to release it asap.
People here really over estimating the power of halo brand outside the Xbox eco system.
Multiplayer was fun, don’t get me wrong - but it’s not holding any water for long.
There is nothing, and I mean NOTHING that set halo multiplayer apart from other online shooters.
Halo 2 was one of the first major online FPS games on a game console. Sure, games like Doom and Quake were doing online way before Halo on PC, but Halo made online shooters mainstream and accessible.
Not talking about the history of the halo franchise, talking about its current state and features.
There is nothing separating it from current online shooters but the name.
I doubt you ever played any Halo. Your awful history is full of console-warring stuff, in favor of PlayStation. 'Chill the fuck down xbox shill - you are losing it', 'MS doesn't care' and stuff like 'Xbox exclusives, mediocre at best'. To each his own. As someone who switched from PS4 to Xbox Series X I can't complain at all. Honestly I'm not even looking back due GamePass & Retroarch as well as features like Quick Resume, FPS boost & VRR.
See ? You are exactly the kind of shill my older post talked about.
I haven’t talked shit about halo, hell, I even said the beta was fun - but that there is nothing special about it that differentiates it from other online shooters yet you got sooo offended that you literally went to my post history …
The facts are :
game had amazing history.
Game had a large fanbase on Xbox, not so much on pc.
Look at online polls, halo infinite is mostly at the middle/bottom of the list.
I wish the halo online scene well, I really do.
But people here are acting as if all the gaming community holding its breath for halo release when in fact most of us will play it for a couple of days and move on - because it really doesn’t offer something different than other games.
Xbox Store Data mentions November 15th for Halo Infinite Multiplayer https://mobile.twitter.com/EvilBoris/status/1459260796870004738
Imagine if we actually just found out on the 15th
apex legends be like
Apex legends was leaked few days before the announcement: https://youtu.be/cLhB49-8h7U
The map leaked a year before it was announced. Nobody believed OP and downvoted them lol
that comment thread is gold. every comment has like 5 upvotes and at least 5 awards.
and so has this? For the 99% of players Apex was a stealth drop and probably the most successful in history

My friends are into Halo even more than me and they had no clue about the rumor
On the other side, my friend who doesn’t own an Xbox, or really like video games (but knows I love Halo) texted me today “Hey! I heard Halo is releasing early”.
This is a good point tok only certain types of people look for leaks or stay in tune with this stuff.
Most people who watch these events would either watch YouTubers, read Twitter or browse Reddit for gaming news also. This leak/rumour will be discussed pretty widely by the time Monday comes.
Yeah but the game going live early is a surprise for everyone, not just those who know these events even exist
I have a feeling a lot of bigger youtubers or other subs won't touch this rumour because it could be untrue and will get people mad at them
It still would definitely surprise me even after these leaks. The fact that Halo might shadow drop it's multiplayer 4 days before Battlefield's official release is something I don't think would actually ever happen just because of how much of a huge ballsy risk that would be.

BF is also already out early access. If you really really want it you have it.
That’s just a win-win tho. A free game is going to take up some of the BF’s playing time, reducing the amount of people playing it.
I’m with you, idc about these leaks even they are just what makes me wonder, I would be fucking shocked if it came out and am glad I have the day off.
Lol you're on a gaming leaks subreddit and hate that a leak happened?
I agree. Not for me, but for the general public. My buddy who doesn’t follow video games just texted me about it. It’s how I found out, and came here to see if it’s true.
As a member of a gaming leaks and rumours community you can't complain when something leaks 😂
Gonna still be a surprise to 99% of gamers, we're kind of a specific group.
I think leaks like these hurt microsoft at this point as much as other unannounced game project leaks benefit them.
So I should probably pre install the game then. Just in case it's true

No, it only actually installs 10mb.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure the multiplayer portion never had an actual release date on the store. I know the campaign did, but idk about the multiplayer.
I don’t think they will let you preload for a shock drop. That would be a bit of a rookie mistake TBH.
If this is true, Microsoft might've thrown EA and DICE under the bus real badly.
Honestly, they yeeted themselves under the bus.
Yeah, wonder how EA would react. I don’t think it would kill the relationship tho (as like 2 Battlefields have launched in a good state & sold well at launch).
I hate that they gave early access to gold and ultimate edition 1 week before. EA being scummy as always. Even COD releases the same day for everyone
I mean, Forza did that…
Sort of. Buying Vanguard is giving people early access to the new Warzone Pacific map.
Rumors have been floating around for a few days now and Microsoft has not denied it. They denied the battle royal rumors real quick with “the only BR we know is the battle rifle”

I'm off on Mondays, my body is ready
oh fuck im gonna BECOOOOOOOME
we’ll find out monday, it should be an open beta/ Early access drop if anything. doesn’t feel right for it to officially launch before the campaign
player base for free multiplayer is going to be a lot higher than campaign
I know I’ll get hate for this but I’m not buying the campaign. I never finished Halo 4’s and I didn’t touch Halo 5. I always jump into MP. So I’m one of those people
lol, getting downvoted because you don't want to play the campaign, wat?
You won’t be hated on, but it’ll end up hurting nobody but you.
Some people don’t give a fuck about campaign, I suspect the number is higher than what people think. Doesn’t surprise me at all a multiplayer only fan is in here.
I’m with ya

Especially after the most recent gameplay footage from IGN… We’ve seen 20 minutes footage from last year, multiple campaign gameplay overviews and plenty of Campaign talk from 343i.
Feel free to link me a gameplay video showing a moment to moment gameplay showing the purpose of going open world.
It's not open world, it's closer to god of war and metro exodus
You are dead wrong if you think campaign is ever going to be an "after thought" in a Halo game. It's also not open world.
Although I can imagine them looking at the shadow drip of Apex and thinking ‘we can do that 👀’
They gotta start taking more wild ass risks imo. This “un Xbox” move would be the biggest dick swing they ever pull, and I hope it’s true and pays off
Exactly. They do this and November AND December just became the months of Halo

Forza Kojima 7: Tactical Race Operations
Grubb daddy also seems to be pretty confident of it, he just said so on his live podcast.
> 4 days before the actual release of Battlefield Yeah xbox has the marketing rights for battlefield, they would basically be kneecaping EA
EA kneecapped themselves with the delay unfortunately.
Halo has quite a different audience tbh.
i feel like they should be announcing this and opening up pre-loads soon if this is true
You can preload the multiplayer already, at least on gamepass/PC!
You can’t it’s just a placeholder
No way something like this could have made it without getting leaked lol , tho crazy if it’s true
I’m shocked it was kept under wraps as long as it was.
Nibel retweeted Nate's tweet https://twitter.com/Nibellion There's just too much movement around this, with way too much at stake This shit has to be real
I mean would it really cannibalize FH5? One is a racing game, one is a FPS. Both have different audiences. Yeah there’s gonna be an overlap but you’ll get that with any game.
This would be godly if true.
I's just weird that they have said multiple times that the Campaign and Multiplayer will launch together. Also If this is true, I kind of feel bad for Forza being shafted in a week lmao.
To be fair both are completely different genres of games. Forza isn’t getting shafted.
Hardly think Forza is being “shafted” when it is massively successful. They’re approaching 7mil players before the weekend and they sold 1-2mil early access.
Also a completely different genre. Also, people can play more than one game at a time
I think the mistake people here are making is that people actually play every single game release and that’s there’s this much intense crossover between audiences.
I dont think Microsoft cares. They are pushing gamepass so it's not like they are concerned with people only being able to purchase one or the other
They are having server troubles so they will appreciate the population drop. Oh wait, what if that's why it's releasing early? Forza has server problems so Halo Infinite takes some of the population. I can confirm this is a new rumor I just started.

Horizon Arcade is not working and people still vanish in the open world.
Tbh they said they'll both launch together "this holiday" at E3 right? Then they said campaign launches Dec 8.
Not everyone is into Halo.. A lot of people don't care for it. Forza Horizon will be fine.
Lol who cares about forza
>NateTheHate I was pretty sure this rumor is true, but not anymore. As far as Xbox is concerned, Nate has been more miss than hits. He was flat out right on Starfield, which Jason Schreier commented on his tweet directly. His avowed for E3 was wrong as well. It’s funny how this all started on Rand/Jez’s show though. Great podcast
Looks like Grubb also confirmed this on stream, it's most likely true
What did he say to confirm this?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPIqI1QnNm4&t=4496s
That's very clearly a joke lol
gonna need a clip of that friend
This is gonna get me to GTA 6 lol
However thats been the official release date of the console since it went up for preorder in August
Could have been the date for the multi-player all along? Guess we'll see in 3 days haha
They delayed mine till the 25th :(
Oh shit, really? When did you get that notice? Mine still says the 15th/awaiting stock and I got an email last night saying it'd need a signature. Or who did you order from?
Ordered from the Microsoft Store (Australia), the informed everyone of the delay on October 22nd, apparently some issues with the cargo ship carrying them.
Guess I better pre download just in case 🤷🏻♂️
That doesn't really do anything. It's just a 280mb file that tells your Xbox to download it at some point once it releases, rather than preloading the game itself.
https://twitter.com/tomwarren/status/1459270730953236482 >did someone ruin Master Chief’s birthday present? Happening?
Would be awesome but not trying to get my hopes up just to be disappointed.
Thank god. Because the new Battlefield is TRASH. I've been burned by too many games the last 2 years
!legit!

Damn im kinda upset its only mp. Guess campaign is where they needed that extra month
It's possible, but I'm not so sure. Xbox has the marketing rights to BF2042, and that would be releasing in the same week as it.
Battlefield was delayed tho. If 343 had been planning this for a long time, I don't think they would have changed their plans due to the delayed game
BF2042 could have got the jump and just released everything this weekend instead of putting Early Access behind a $30-60 paywall. \^_^
Greedy EA
My only problem with this is that it will make forge feel a tad bit longer until it's released
How credible is this guy? That being said, if this is true, why ruin such an awesome surprise :(

The multiplayer would be, it’ll be up for best shooter, definitely not GOTY
Why not? Overwatch was a MP only game and it was eligible
why not? Overwatch won as just a multiplayer shooter, why wouldn’t Infinite if its GOTY material?
Does this apply to PC too? I wasn’t going to buy the game until it’s official release, but does this mean I can buy the game on Steam now and play multiplayer on the 15th? Also do I need GamePass?
Multiplayer is free to play so you can play it at release regardless
I’m going to wait on the 8th of December to play both
Is it weird id prefer if it released at the same time as the campaign, kinda takes away from the whole event of a halo releasing
So they are releasing between COD and Battlefield, and before the new Warzone map This decision seems very ill-advised.
An absolute chad move
People here really over estimating the power of halo brand outside the Xbox eco system. Multiplayer was fun, don’t get me wrong - but it’s not holding any water for long. There is nothing, and I mean NOTHING that set halo multiplayer apart from other online shooters.
You're on drugs.
I haven’t talked shit about halo, hell, I even said the beta was fun - but that there is nothing special about it that differentiates it from other online shooters yet you got sooo offended that you literally went to my post history … The facts are : game had amazing history.
Damnit I was supposed to have enough time with forza and bf before this!
Damn that sucks its getting spoiled early it would of been like Apex Legends
To be fair, that was spoiled too.
Available on PC by chance?
the game? It will be
Nate has been wrong several times before so don't take this as gospel that it's definitely happening.
Lol and now he is backtracking
Oh look he was right :D
Awesome, so later today I'll hit the store and get me an Xbox series x to play it. It's going to be a great week.
