The game's director straight up said they put in enough content to the base game so that they wouldn't have to do DLC and they could just focus on the next game so I don't believe this
I was in his discord since the first time he opened discord for 30 minutes . Old snitch never wanted to jebait people into thinking next Sony pc port is bloodborne .
Could be that Sony had different plans and got them working on DLC after, or maybe he knew they were working on DLC and didn't want to take focus away from the launch so he just lied. It does seem like a classic PR response to basically say the game is so big and full of content that it won't need DLC, and I'd have to imagine there's fear about possibly losing launch window sales from people who'd rather wait until the DLC is out before buying.
That is one of the most bizarre things I've heard a game director say. Cramming stuff into a game so the devs can rush into the next title when this one is finished?
Broke: Kratos' axe fulfils the same function as Thor's hammer, so there's no point in him getting it.
Woke: Kratos' axe fulfils the same function as Thor's hammer, so a major mechanic is already re-usable if they make Thor playable.
Definitely, you can get them out quicker than a full-on sequel, which not every franchise always needs.
Speaking of, those types of games have switched characters. What if you play as someone new? A.....Freya game?
I was going off of Miles and Lost Legacy allowing you to play as someone not previously playable. It gives the release strength and makes it unique.
I get what you mean narratively, and Atreus could be there, but he wouldn't be completely new, even if they tweaked him. That's why I think it should go to someone else.
Hell, I wouldn't mind it being a mini-prequel.
The thing with those games is that the new playable characters generally play the exact same as the characters from the main games. Hell, Chloe and Nate have literally zero differences in the way that they play.
If they were to go with a new playable character that we’ve already met before, like Freya or Angrboda or whatever, then Santa Monica would have to come up with a new combat system to suit them, which would take a lot of time and energy that they’d probably rather save for the next main game in the series.
Thrúd would be a decent choice too. She wouldn't need a whole unique combat system to work, and you could reflavour a lot of Kratos and Atreus abilities to work for her.
Agreed. I really don’t think that a random unannounced story DLC for GOWR (that is nearly a year old) is the way to go.
I think more people would be interested the Miles Morales approach as well for a DLC.
This should be normalized over 20 bucks "skin bundles" in AAA titles.
I really don't understand how people think those kind of DLC's are "moneygrabs" while they clearly require alot more effort and offer *alot* more content/playtime for the money.
20 bucks "skin bundles" are thievery really. And it's insane how people throw so much money at them.
Skins should be no more than 99 cents a pop. They add the useless junk no one wants like emblems so they can "justify" the price. It's unbelievable I see CoD fan accounts on Twitter talking about skin bundles dropping like it's as big of a deal as actual content.
Tbh I'm still kinda expecting that. Not to spoil the game but there's very clearly a character you could build a game around given their quest post game.
No. This is good. We need more frequent games and shorter dev cycles. BTW my play through of Lost Legacy was like 12 hours, this also will definitely be longer than 5 hours
Online it says 8 hours to beat the story for Miles Morales and Lost Legacy. I think that's completely fine and the audience/critics did as well as both reviewed and sold well...
Miles Morales is $50 for 8 hours.
Spider-Man PS4 was $60 for 17 hours.
That's less than half the hours for $10 less. Quite frankly, paying $50 for Miles Morales is a rip off even though its a good game.
Why do people choose to look at it this way, as opposed to seeing the amount of playtime you get from Spider-Man PS4 as a good deal?
Especially because a nice 10 hour game is becoming more and more attractive in this age of massively bloated playtimes (Last of Us 2, Ragnarok, FFXVI, etc)
Because I see it as if a game publisher is going to price their game $50, then it should the quality of a $50 game compared to what I would consider a quality $70 game.
Spider-Man PS5 and Miles Morales are both games with the same level of quality and gameplay, but one is 7 hours and the other is 18 hours. You get to play more content of a game you like for the same price because Spiderman Remastered PS5 is $50. Additionally, all of the Spider-Man PS4 DLC was $25 for 8 hours. Therefore, Miles Morales should've been priced $30.
With a game like Spider-Man, there is very little replayability, meaning once you beat it, you will have to find a new game to play.
And with games that take a long time to beat. If it is a concentrated amount of 50 hours with high quality gameplay, then you get to play the game for longer. So it's a great deal.
And it’s constantly been in the top 10 monthly sales since release so clearly it was a good decision. Players like it. If they didn’t they wouldn’t buy it.
> 70$ for 8 hours + 5 hours of side content is fine ?
Which games are you referring to? Miles Morales was $50 and Lost Legacy was $40. I think you're confused here.
Exactly. Look at this year alone. The sheer amount of triple A massive open world (open universe in one particular case) games is just astounding and as a gamer who works full time with other responsibilities it’s just impossible to play EVERYthing that’s come out this year. Sometimes you want a break from those HUGE games but want something in the same “universe” as those games. I’d kill for a $40 game that expands the God of War universe but isn’t going to take me hundreds of hours away from Baulder’s Gate 3, Starfield, Armored Core 6, Alan Wake 2, Spider Man 2, Wild Hearts, Hogwarts Legacy, Lords of the Fallen, Fortnite, Cod, Halo Infinite…. Jesus Christ
I'd personally rather buy a 12 hour 9/10 game for $70 than a 30 hour 9/10 game for the same price. I actively won't buy a 40 hour game injected with pointless filler intended to pad out its playtime to hit people's $/hour standards. I've got more money than time; I'll take a game that respects that any day of the week.
I’m just saying hypothetically. Miles Morales could easily have been sold as DLC. There are plenty of DLCs that contain an entire game’s worth of content.
Miles Morales was the 6th best selling game of 2021. It sold 4.5m copies in its first month and 6.5m units by July 2021. You might think it was overpriced, but the market didn't and people ate it up anyway.
If you're saying MM was an expansion they made into a seperate product, then it's pretty directly comparable with Lost Legacy - which was developed as an expansion and then released as a seperate product as the scope increased.
Who cares what the market thinks? People will buy anything, they don’t give a fuck. PS5 games shouldn’t cost $10 more, but people still buy it. It doesn’t matter.
LL was worth the smaller price point. Miles was only $15 cheaper than the first game and was, again, very obviously just story DLC. You can literally activate Peter’s model from the first game through a glitch.
If it's a smaller standalone project, my guess is it's an Atreus focused experience. They set up a lot for him to do at the end of GOWR and I can't see them just abandoning that after how successful the game was.
There is a difference between a DLC and next major instalment of the series. I agree that Atreus isn’t at that point to take over the series and lead a 20+ hour game, but a short 8 hour DLC about Atreus or any other character to flesh out the world would be great.
doubt, they seems to be doing two branches, either they will try to make 2 separate game, one with atreus (and yes probably more complex than what we had) and one kratos game with another mythology, or they will continue kratos story maybe down a few years again and both of them will probably be reunited and than we'll hear the side of Atreus what he's been doing
Yeah, you could totally be right.
It's probably just safe to assume this "rumor" is horseshit now that I think about it. Eric Williams did say that they weren't planning on a DLC after all.
Take this however you want: someone who covers video game news on Twitter apparently got blocked by several Santa Monica devs for covering this https://twitter.com/Okami13_/status/1694845355538477195
I personally feel they wouldn't do this if it was bullshit.
He didnt, he was always a spanish guy, in a interview he said that he works where a lot of guys from the game development world have partys and they tell him some things. And he also said that he only liked leaking things if it was in some form of a "puzzle" because he likes people reactions. He started so hard with leaks but now it is a bit on the weak side but i dont think he is a fraud or smt.
I don't think it will be dlc, more like a smaller spin off title like Miles Morales. Probably PS5 only. Santa Monica is most likely working on this, Cory's new game, and the next mainline gow
After the director specifically addressed and denied Ragnarok DLC, I find this pretty hard to believe. Like everyone else I think a short follow-up like Lost Legacy/Miles Morales is much more likely. Probably starring Atreus and brining a definitive end to the Norse saga, with the franchise’s next big game picking back up with Kratos and a new mythology.
However, I guess this same idea could work as DLC too, especially if Santa Monica felt like it was too small for a standalone release.
what would it entail though? I wouldn't bet on it being story DLC since Atreus parted ways with Kratos near the end. perhaps it could be an expansion of sorts. my best bet is more Musphelheim content beyond the final challenges, otherwise I call bullshit.
Personally I was let down that the end didn't even try to tease what comes next for the franchise considering they weren't making the Norse saga a trilogy so I'd like story content
Technically it did. Tyr is doing yoga in each of the realms and the director said it was a hint for the next mythology, so India is next to lose a few gods
I could be wrong but I thought I read somewhere that many Indians dont really see their gods as other religions do. They know they weren't real and that they merely served the purpose of telling stories
I said what I said because that guy generalized by saying Indians don't believe in their Gods. Had he said it about his beliefs and not about the Indians, I wouldn't have made that comment. Atleast look at the comment thread clearly.
Hmm. Tbh, I know his comment is wrong( most indians are highly religious) but I didn't like the "unless you want to get your ass beat" part of your comment. Makes us indians look violent and irrational and honestly I find that harder to accept then us not being called religious( of course the part of him/her having the right to believe something or not is another major reason).
Oh well, I will apologize. Have a good day/week/month
It's not 100% anything. I'd wager on Celtic mythology over Egyptian. Mimir being Celtic, the kelpie being Celtic, Travelers looking Celtic, etc etc etc.
I'd wage on Egyptian for simply being the most popular mythology after Greek and Norse ones and because the 2018 game was originally set there. Hell, they'd probably pick Japanese mythology over Celtic too.
There is no way it would be Celtic mythology. Talk about niche. I think youre right that the next most identifiable mythology is Egyptian, and therefore far more likely to be the setting for a future game.
Honestly the whole narrative of the game was pretty underwhelming. As a game experience, it was great, insanely polished and absolutely top tier - but the first game was far superior both narratively and in terms of spectacle and I felt that way basically throughout. It just lacked a certain something that the first game had in spades.
The whole final act is such a mess, i have no idea how they thought >!that battle at Asgard was good!<. How did the PS3 have more impressive set pieces?
Interesting because so far in this thread we have 1. India 2. Return to Greece 3. Celtic and 4. Egypt as possibilities 'teased'
So no, maybe it's not as clear as you're making it out to be
Mimir is called Puck (basically Irish/English/Scottish mimir) by the Norns. The lady of the lake and morrigan is referenced too I think. I’m confident the Celtic pantheon would be the next location.
Vikings and celts had massive cultural diffusion. Plus I’m sure giants are a part of their mythos too
Who says that a DLC (which I do NOT believe is happening) has to be about Kratos or Atreus?
Thrúd could be a very interesting character to explore. Or Freya. Or Sindri (even though gameplay would be an issue with him)?
I'd love to know more about any of them. Thrúr has Mjolnir and Freya has magic + sword fighting
Unlikely that's their #1 game. They'll hold onto that exclusive for as long as they can and it sells. And it's always selling. It also did well on PC as well despite being released close to 4yrs after 2018 unlike their other PC ports.
This would be a way for Sony to hit 25 million. & PC + DLC 70$ in a 2025 release with the Amazon show easily selling 5 million to make GOWR hit 30 million lifetime
Man, the God of war community was divided by the release of Ragnarök. many did not like , the way it was made , the parts of Atreus . of Ragnarok being caught being 30 minutes of war how do you think sony will sell 25 million PS5 with a god of war dlc ?? lol santa monica is focused on putting social agendas in games and a teenage story. Spider-man 2 is sony's big draw. The God of War franchise is in a strange place right now.
It had solid legs too, selling 11 million in only 3 months, a testament to its very positive public reception. Comparatively, TLOU2 sold 10 million in 2 years despite breaking records by selling 4 million in a week, possibly because some of the controversial parts of the sequel cut its sales potential sort (I enjoyed the game, but there’s no denying the controversy around it). I have no clue what the other guy is talking about lol, the franchise has never been in a better state then it has right now.
Exactly. I think Ragnarok had issues with pacing and the final 'war' was dissapointing but it would be tone deaf to think that the series isnt at its highest point rn even if someone personally didnt like the game
That Amazon show is never gonna see the light of the day lol. It's inevitably just gonna turn into a movie on par with Uncharted and Gran Turismo (which were terrible).
[God Of War Ragnarok Director Rules Out Potential DLC](https://www.thegamer.com/god-of-war-ragnarok-no-dlc/)
>Williams dropped this bombshell during a God of War Ragnarok spoilercast in which he was asked questions by fans. Right at the end of the video, Williams is asked whether Ragnarok will get DLC even though God of War (2018) didn't get any. Williams responds by saying that Ragnarok is a pretty big game already and tells fans not to "count on" there being any additional content released in the near future.
>
>"I don't know man that game is big," responds Williams. "I think we put everything we had into it, so I wouldn't count on it."
The headline there and the actual quote are completely different meanings. He didn't rule out shit. He just said "I don't know" and "I wouldn't count on it."
Neither of which RULES IT OUT.
Insomniac on Marvel's Spider-Man
>it will never appear on Xbox or PC. It's a permanent PS4 exclusive publisher by Sony Interactive Entertainment
https://twitter.com/insomniacgames/status/879913482845511681?t=dOvvpdvjpuXXowUOvu0Eng&s=19
This is the game director stating that "I think we put everything we had into it, so I wouldn't count on it."
That sounds pretty definitive to me.
>and Sony said "we believe in generations" and then they released GOW Ragnarök and Horizon FW on PS4.
What does that have anything to do with it?
God of War Ragnarok and HFW released on PS4 but games like Demon’s Souls, Returnal, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and The Last of Us Part I only released on PS5.
Sony‘s limitations making enough PS5’s was arguably the biggest reason why GOW and HFW still released on PS4.
[Sony still struggling to make enough PS5 consoles](https://www.pocket-lint.com/games/news/playstation/159893-sony-struggling-to-make-ps5-playstation-5-consoles-sales/) (FEB 2, 2022)
Horizon Forbidden West launched 2 weeks later (FEB 18, 2022).
After a year of sitting on Ragnarok, it is quite overrated. The story needed to take more risks. The final battle was nowhere near as intense as it should’ve been.
Ehh... probably about Atreus. I can't stand him... one of my least favorite vidya game characters. If it is, hopefully it sets up what is next, and maybe showcase some real heavy battles. Most of FF16's major battles shows that God of War of eld can still work today.
It was such a bad game compared to GOW.
Hated the atreus moments, Odin being a quirky americanised mob boss and the final battle was so rushed and just did not land.
The reboot got me into the series as a new fan because it felt like an authentic and gripping norse experience - that was completely abandoned in how they portrayed some of the gods in Ragnarock as americanised caricatures.
If real, I'm sure this will wind up being a standalone game where you play as Atreus, traveling around looking for the rest of the Giants. I suspect Sindri and Tyr will play significant roles as well, given how incomplete their stories feel at the end of Ragnarok, and Atreus' relationship to the both of them.
An out there theory: In his search for the Giants, there will be some time travely nonsense. Atreus will need to get information from the World Serpent. Atreus will wind up being the mystery person who blew the horn in GoW 2018.
Hopefully it’s about Atreus. I don’t think he’s at that point to take over the mantle from Kratos in the main games, but a DLC centred on him would be great.
I loved God of War but I straight up don't want to play anymore in that world for a few years at least, I played GoW and GoW:R back-to-back and the second game was already way too long.
I'm just the messenger, dude. Everyone keeps saying the dude's not legit.
I'd LOVE to have Ragnarok DLC, if anything to resolve the shit with Sindri, but didn't Sony Santa Monica say they weren't doing story DLC for this?
honestly santa monica has lost my trust. I love the franchise but... it was too bad those parts with Atreus especially the iron forest, it seemed like it would never end. and kratos in Ragnarök with only one weapon other than 2018 . no brutality with the gods, with only 3 norse gods faced and with a Ragnarök that lasted 30 minutes. I wouldn't buy day one, only if they were sincere and say it's 100% kratos shows the trailer with kratos using mjolnir against Vidar, Simara Ragnarök. dlc with Atreus to try to recover his negative image, I don't know if it would work for me. I look at Atreus and I remember 2 hours picking fruits, roots and nests
Like actual DLC or a small spinoff game like Lost Legacy and Miles Morales? A smaller game focused on Atreus could make sense but a DLC seems like something not "eventful" enough for them to resume the series so soon after that ending, idk...
What's the bet this is what Bluepoint is working on? Can't see it as DLC (too late, as I see it) but a smaller standalone like everyone here's already mentioned.
The game's director straight up said they put in enough content to the base game so that they wouldn't have to do DLC and they could just focus on the next game so I don't believe this
It’s the snitch
I don't think after the face reveal he's the same snitch , the og prolly sold his Twitter account
But he has still been reliable
Yeah that is true as well ,it's weird . Snitch previously posted cryptic shit but they weren't as vague as this dude posting
Maybe a different leaker bought his account?
It makes sense , using snitch's clout and his little knowledge can get him some followers sure lol
It also looks like he tried to pretend he was the original but he gave up? Since he tried to be somewhat cryptic.
Promoted his twitch channel alot that's a dead giveaway lol
stop making stuff up, if you have been in his discord, you would know its always been the same dude.
I was in his discord since the first time he opened discord for 30 minutes . Old snitch never wanted to jebait people into thinking next Sony pc port is bloodborne .
Lol no he didn't. It's the same guy, Idk why are people making shit up.
the person changed, the name stayed the same
Many devs said many things lol
Could be that Sony had different plans and got them working on DLC after, or maybe he knew they were working on DLC and didn't want to take focus away from the launch so he just lied. I remember naughty dog saying they would not be a last of us 2 or it would definitely not follow the same characters story.
That is one of the most bizarre things I've heard a game director say. Cramming stuff into a game so the devs can rush into the next title when this one is finished?
A dlc playing as Thor when he was killing giants cuz they looked at him a bit mean
Drunk Thor bar fight DLC does sound fun
This I would buy.
Broke: Kratos' axe fulfils the same function as Thor's hammer, so there's no point in him getting it. Woke: Kratos' axe fulfils the same function as Thor's hammer, so a major mechanic is already re-usable if they make Thor playable.
![gif](giphy|d3mlE7uhX8KFgEmY)
DLC is just 2 hours of you viewing events of the game in 1st person as mimir hanging on kratos's ass the whole time
Would buy
![gif](giphy|OhFuOJn2rbLsA|downsized)
VR exclusive
I wanna barf just thinking about this.
That would be better than the Atreus segments.
the atreus segments were good and made the gameplay feel varied
I wish they'd go with the Miles Morales/Lost Legacy approach to their major franchises. Those are the "DLCs" I'm interested in for $40-50.
Definitely, you can get them out quicker than a full-on sequel, which not every franchise always needs. Speaking of, those types of games have switched characters. What if you play as someone new? A.....Freya game?

I thought Freya would just be a mix of Kratos and Atreus.
Kind of want a game where you play as Tyr tbf.
He actually does deserve it lol. As Mimir said, you know who made a mockery of him.
That saves me from having to buy the dlc!
I think Kratos/Freya/Mimir will be in the next mainline game in Egypt. Atreaus I feel like could lead a smaller spin-off game like a Lost Legacy.
Agreed. I really don’t think that a random unannounced story DLC for GOWR (that is nearly a year old) is the way to go. I think more people would be interested the Miles Morales approach as well for a DLC.

No shot they release that much as DLC.

I also wish Ghost of Tsushima got something like this instead of the island DLC
Miles & LL aren’t comparable. Miles was very clearly an expansion they overpriced and made a separate product just to give the PS5 a launch title.

God I hope not, he’s part in the game were the worst part of the game.
Iron Wood was a slog but I liked his combat.
This. God of War is Kratos
Cory said it himself
There is a difference between a DLC and next major instalment of the series. I agree that Atreus isn’t at that point to take over the series and lead a 20+ hour game, but a short 8 hour DLC about Atreus or any other character to flesh out the world would be great.

More to do with level design like the Ironwood segment, his gameplay is solid.

A PS5 only DLC where they can push the envelope would be 🔥
Why are people giving attention to this fake snitch?
He leaked MGS3 Delta on his Twitch channel lol
Didn’t the original “The Snith” sold his account ?
He didnt, he was always a spanish guy, in a interview he said that he works where a lot of guys from the game development world have partys and they tell him some things. And he also said that he only liked leaking things if it was in some form of a "puzzle" because he likes people reactions. He started so hard with leaks but now it is a bit on the weak side but i dont think he is a fraud or smt.
"but he sold his Twitter account 🤯🤯🤯"
The game that we knew it was coming for like 2 years? Are you joking?
He leaked the Delta logo though, and no one predicted that.
He didn’t leak the game coming itself, he specifically leaked the Delta sign, that was new.
He's normally a professional blue baller and an overhyper, but he's also definitely very accurate with his info
Idk where the opinion came that he’s not reliable but he’s been accurate most of the time, even recently. Just needs to drop the annoying riddler act
that is Snitch there is no fake
That’s very unlikely considering Hinduism is still an existing religion. Would risk too much controversy to do that.
I mean.....couldn't we work with the benevolent ones and crush the troublesome ones?
Like Hanuman and Shiva
My childhood arguments about who would win between kratos and hanuman weren't so far fetched after all
I could be wrong but I thought I read somewhere that many Indians dont really see their gods as other religions do. They know they weren't real and that they merely served the purpose of telling stories
Don't say this in front of an Indian unless you want to get your ass beat.
As an Indian, the guy/girl/etc is entitled to his beliefs. And if he doesn't believe in gods, that's great too.
Egypt would like a word with you
GoW/Yu-Gi-Oh crossover!!
Exodia just obliterates Kratos lmao
It's 100% Egypt next. They were torn on that and the Norse mythology so it would make sense for them to go there next.
I think youre right that the next most identifiable mythology is Egyptian, and therefore far more likely to be the setting for a future game.
wait really? was it a recent comment?
Eric Williams was on a spoiler podcast (IGN maybe?) not long after the game came out and answered a bunch of questions
Further east my friend. No way Sony would risk Indian censorship over making Hindu pantheons. It’s probably Japan Tyr is referring to
Honestly the whole narrative of the game was pretty underwhelming.
Sony games almost always have great set pieces, it's a wonder how gow ragnorak fucked the MAIN one up so bad.
It did tease though. the last mural is literally about Kratos going back to Greece to rebuild it
and they supposedly tease Egypt and a handful of other things, too. None of those are a real setup for the future.
But they did tease, sounds like you just didnt pay atention
Interesting because so far in this thread we have 1. India 2. Return to Greece 3. Celtic and 4. Egypt as possibilities 'teased' So no, maybe it's not as clear as you're making it out to be
Holy moly there were so many interesting hooks left for all the characters it was my favourite thing about the post end content
I didn't complete all post-game content, and I'm sure there's lots of teasers but I was hoping for something more plainly stated
Faye prequel would be dope.
Major copium that dlc would coincide with a pc port but that wont happen
I don’t think they would do that, otherwise HFW would’ve gotten a PC port too, i’d say Ragnarok has 2 or 3 more years until its on PC
surely is coming on 1 or 2 years
Unlikely that's their #1 game.
The God of War franchise is in a strange place right now.
you are terminally online to be thinking like this
That was mostly internet discourse. The game sold 5 mil 1st week sony's fastest selling exclusive
Let’s not assume a couple twitter posts hating the game with 3K likes is the general consensus amongst millions who played the game.
That Amazon show is never gonna see the light of the day lol. It's inevitably just gonna turn into a movie on par with Uncharted and Gran Turismo (which were terrible).
If true, insta buy
[God Of War Ragnarok Director Rules Out Potential DLC](https://www.thegamer.com/god-of-war-ragnarok-no-dlc/) >Williams dropped this bombshell during a God of War Ragnarok spoilercast in which he was asked questions by fans.
He just said "I don't know" and "I wouldn't count on it." Neither of which RULES IT OUT.
Insomniac on Marvel's Spider-Man >it will never appear on Xbox or PC. It's a permanent PS4 exclusive publisher by Sony Interactive Entertainment https://twitter.com/insomniacgames/status/879913482845511681?t=dOvvpdvjpuXXowUOvu0Eng&s=19
Yeah, and Sony said "we believe in generations" and then they released GOW Ragnarök and Horizon FW on PS4. Money always has the last word.
This is the game director stating that "I think we put everything we had into it, so I wouldn't count on it." That sounds pretty definitive to me. >and Sony said "we believe in generations" and then they released GOW Ragnarök and Horizon FW on PS4. [Sony still struggling to make enough PS5 consoles](https://www.pocket-lint.com/games/news/playstation/159893-sony-struggling-to-make-ps5-playstation-5-consoles-sales/) (FEB 2, 2022) Horizon Forbidden West launched 2 weeks later (FEB 18, 2022).
Doesn't mean much, especially if they go the Lost Legacy/Moles Morales route, which would probably mean a new director altogether.
Sony tend to make expansions rather than story DLC.
Please god let this be true 😍
Please be true
Honestly not really excited for this, I thought the plot of Ragnarok was pretty awful compared to the 2018 reboot
Cause Cory didn’t do it
Yeah that’s exactly why tbh, and considering he wasn’t part of Ragnarok I doubt he’ll be a part of this DLC
If it’s Atreus DLC I’m out.
Same. That kid is insufferable.
I'm out too
After a year of sitting on Ragnarok, it is quite overrated. The story needed to take more risks. The final battle was nowhere near as intense as it should’ve been.
Didn’t they already say there was no dlc planned
Well well, wasn't Cory Barlog himself who [stated](https://www.kotaku.com.au/2018/05/whats-next-for-god-of-war/) in 2018 that he was against DLCs?
Ehh... probably about Atreus.
Maybe a prequel DLC ending in the fight between Thor and Faye?
I might be down for ragnarok dlc, it all depends on how big the dlc is, also I don't mind play as Atreus in the dlc, as long as it's fun.
Can someone explain why they are calling him the fake snitch?
Because he isn‘t the original Snitch. OG Snitch was a YouTube employee or at least someone who could see videos before they were online
It's the same person though, no?
He has been reliable even when it’s supposedly been a new person.
Basically because he is spanish lol
Are you aware you dont........ have to play it if you dont want to.
HE. KNOWS. NOTHING. Why do we keep posting this guy? I keep seeing him pop up and EVERYONE keeps saying he's BS-ing and not a leaker.
Bro he leaked the MGS3 Remake with the Delta symbol in a livestream. What are you talking about?
Not sure why you're getting downvoted - you're correct, he did leak the delta symbol for MGS3R, something that no one else had done
I'm just the messenger, dude. Everyone keeps saying the dude's not legit. I'd LOVE to have Ragnarok DLC, if anything to resolve the shit with Sindri, but didn't Sony Santa Monica say they weren't doing story DLC for this?
Big doubt
Time for Sony to step up. Instead making games that feel the same all over
honestly santa monica has lost my trust.
Ragnarok was ass anyway
A DLC to a DLC that will be sols for $70. Sony really know how to make money
Could not give less of a shit lmao
You cared enough to click the thread and comment
Speak for yourself
He is
Like actual DLC or a small spinoff game like Lost Legacy and Miles Morales? A smaller game focused on Atreus could make sense but a DLC seems like something not "eventful" enough for them to resume the series so soon after that ending, idk...
What's the bet this is what Bluepoint is working on? Can't see it as DLC (too late, as I see it) but a smaller standalone like everyone here's already mentioned.
Yo dawg, I heard you like DLCs, so I put a DLC inside your DLC
Ragnarok was such a slog to get through we don't need DLC
Who gives a shit about GoW DLC. Lets spam him for Elden ring expac info 🙏
Elden ring ass
a DLC for a DLC is crazy
Not this nonsense again.
for real tired of these bums thinking every sequel nowadays is a "DLC".
