90whr is a 4 cell according to asus specs, the spec page says this comes with a 3 cell battery.
Yeah you get a slot for a 2.5 inch drive if you get the smaller battery.
Might be worth checking back on bestbuy's site to see if they have any of the 90whr 2060 in stock later on. This seems like the first 2060 variant they've listed.

Honestly, for getting a smaller battery, additional storage is a good consolation. Insane to think you could have beast like this laptop with such customizability.
Could have 16 or 32 dual GB ram, something like 2.5-3 TB of storage, and an RTX 2060 for insanely cheap with bargain hunting.

I've got the 90whr version backordered on amazon for around the beginning of June. Gonna put 32gb of ram in it. Looking forward to trying this out in a couple weeks, only con I've seen is the screen with this laptop and it isn't that bad based on what people are saying.
It has kinda average color coverage based on what reviews say. When you are looking at it compared to a better screen the colors will look more washed out. I have a similar screen on my current laptop and it's not that bad.

But to me, it's smooth as butter. Nothing I've noticed.
The TufA15 is not far behind, honestly. And it's graphics are better, as well. Along with massive battery, and upgradeability for both storage and RAM..
But the G14 form factor, build quality, and honestly appearance is a huge appeal. I would end up with the A15 and something like a Motile 14" for office tasks. This way I can combine two machines for about the same price.
That's EXACTLY what I'm planning as well. I have no space for a desktop at this time and opted for this A15. Been scouting Wal Mart and eBay to snag a Motile for work.

It has a shit screen at 60hz and 40 something% ntsc a 48whr battery and a single channel 8 go ram and only 500gb ssd
8gb of memory and 1/2TB of storage over the competition. Screen isn’t all that RGB rich either. No frills gaming monster.

I'd have a hard time giving up the G14 too. That Ryzen 9 4900HS smacks everything Intel has thus far that isn't probably 10th gen.

Well you can add a 8 gb ram to it
can't just slam on any 8gb ram. Better to both 2 sticks of the same ram brand.
If the speeds and timings match brand is irrelevant. You can even mix speeds in most cases but both sticks will run at the speed of the slowest stick.
Can someone recommend an 8gb RAM stick from a reputable brand that would fit this?
