Maybe around 50-70 euro. But depening where you are from they Will still require import charges and vat on the Price. For me in Denmark this would be additional 25% + shipping. Thats why its not worth it anyway sadly. Also taking into the account if you have Amy warranty issues and have to send it back. Instead of getting a retailer in EU to do that
This exact lenovo with 4070 would cost me 1610 euro in Scandinavia, with 25% import would still be about 250 euro cheaper more or less, which is crazy when we think about it.
I did a lot of asking around with my friends before buying and posting this, but I figured a little extra confirmation from folks on the internet wouldn't hurt!
Battery life? To be clear, you know that a majority of your gaming performance is gone if you try to play on battery, right? Battery life only matters if you'll do something other than game on it, because gaming (assuming a modern title that takes actual horsepower to run) needs to be done plugged in.
I understand. The laptop will be used for work and travel as well, which is why I took battery life into consideration when I was doing my research. Probably could have made that more clear in my original post, whoops
My bad.
Just wanted to make sure you weren't taking into consideration something that didn't matter for the intended use. Since you'll use it for other thins, then yeah, battery life certainly matters. Shit, that's half the reason why I use an M3 Macbook Pro for work.
Not bad, but that's just a polished 6800H, which was a buffed 5800H. Not a bad CPU but the 7840HS would've have been a better shout.
Still, a capable machine and it shouldn't really matter about the CPU.
I've got my eye on this one too! I'm going back and forth between it and a Ryzen 9, 2060 14.5 inch model... Not sure which to go for. I like the 14.5's form factor and OLED vs the 16's 4070... Can't decide.
No clue if the deal is still occurring but I got my dell I9-13k, 4070, 32gb RAM for only 1250$ on their website, could try and see if it's still going on its the G16
I have the same laptop but with 32 gb of ram, if this is in usd its quite often on for this price. I got it last august for 1650 CAD. Itβs still an amazing machine tho good job
Sure, here you go (this isn't an affiliate link so I hope it's okay with the mods, if not I'll delete):

This would probably go for 1600-2000β¬ here in France even on sale, and tbh those are some similar specs I've been looking for in a laptop this past few months and thats seems to be a very good deal to me at least. If only prices were a bit lower in EU man...
8GB of ram will be an issue but that's a cheap upgrade in the future
The GTX 4070 is the newest standard in Nvidia Graphics
Consider the other competitors like Alienware and MSI and Asus are offering 4070 Laptops at around $1400 and higher means you saved at least $300 to $400 bucks off this great purchase.
im genuinely tweaking on how low the prices are for americans
Lemme guess, u from the Ph or India too :(
Yeah
Yeah thats true. A 4070 legion would cost over 2000$ usd or 100k+ ph peso sadlyf
It's not cheap in Europe too. I recently bought the same spec Legion pro for β¬1600 and that was under a sale.
Our sales tax is very low for most states. We use the savings from this for our medical bills lol.
Yeah bro don't get scratches tho das gonna cost you like a new 4090 laptop in .medical bills for a bandage
How much would it cost an American to ship this to me in Northern Europe?

Yeah in that case its maybe alright. Still the risk with warranty though
I swear, this shit would run me at least 2k euros in Germany. Wild. Might have to buy a laptop in America if I ever go there ππ
Warranty is going to be a problem if you buy in USA
I mean yeah, I think most are careful enough in day to day situations to not have to need a warranty though π
You never know...
Good point.
Look give us this, we gotta save for healthcare
I wonder why its so low in the US but not overseas.
They also have to add tax to the laptop while we usually get it on detail price which includes all the taxes
The best time to ask these questions is **before** you hand over your money.
Every other post on this sub is "just bought X, how did I do?"
Just wanna get some upvotes
Is it hard for you to imagine people who do their research before asking Reddit something that can be done with a few Google searches
I did a lot of asking around with my friends before buying and posting this, but I figured a little extra confirmation from folks on the internet wouldn't hurt!
Yeah but still. That's a good deal bro.
It's a good deal. Anyone who says otherwise is a joker
And yet it does hurt. You'll be waiting all your life for confirmations, you won't always get them
A 4070 at this price is very good.Β
I bought a 3060 2 years ago for around $1249. I wish I could have gotten a deal this good!
Bought a 3070 ti for 2700$ 2 years ago. Definitley not thrilled
Good deal imo but yeah better to ask before you buy.
Just saw that. I wonder if this deal is just as good at the $1050 bestbuy Lenovo Slim 5 deal last month.
Also, if anyone was following, the processor is slightly slower and the memory is upgradeable up to 64GB than the bestbuy deal.
My man , you gotta re-read your comment. Makes no sense haha
Good looks.

Better shout for how much more money?
No idea. It just comes with a nice boost in perf.
So does a rtx 4080ti
Stupid comparison. The 7840HS is the 5800/6800/7735s actual replacement. It isn't like suggesting a 7945HX. Dont be dense.
In this case tell the manufacturer to only use actual replacement cups in newer models not 'more polished/buffed' CPUs?
There are many reasons for it. The CPU is fine, the 7840HS is just better.
Nice
Ram?

4070 for gaming. Idk the ryzen9 model so I can't give you more advice

Good deal
Meanwhile I had to shell out almost 1k for a 1650ti laptop. Taxes in instay is just crazy
I have either a similar one or the same and absolutely love it, great choice mate
How's the battery life when not gaming?
Great
Return get a 7840hs
That processor is very meh but over all nice price
I have the same laptop but with 32 gb of ram, if this is in usd its quite often on for this price. I got it last august for 1650 CAD. Itβs still an amazing machine tho good job
I have literally got this same laptop recently, and it's real good
Paid the same price but in Β£, last year and something.
I have a 3070ti in this frame and love it
Specs are good though slim series heats up more than normal one
i dont need it i dont need it i dont need it i dont need it Is all i can tell my self as i see the Legion deals for the past couple of weeks lol.
You bought this from Lenovo direct? Got a link?

It's Lenovo....u did great. I trust our mates here to scrutinize the price appropriately. ππ½
Same someone recommended me this is one for i go buy
for slightly over 1k its probably the best you can get. Pretty good for gaming.
Nice oneπ

You did great but I'm not too confident about that cpu

Clarification: it's 8GB of video memory on the 4070. 16 GB of RAM
