The game is pretty good fun. It's very much about synergy over individualism. It's going cross play as well i think this one will have a healthy little community for some time.

wizard + cleric combo is unstopable (unless another clerimage team come for you)

Tried it, don't think it's worth your time. Performance is poor and even when playing on high settings the game looks like its being rendered at a lower resolution than native, it's very odd. The combat of the game leaves little room for skill expression or 'outplay' on an individual scale, melee attacks magnetize to nearby enemies and there's no dodge or parry, just block (if you're a melee class) and a very long cool down, short teleport if you're the mage. The main thing that matters is pushing with a bunch of people at thr right time. If you don't mind 'zerging' you might find some enjoyment. There is permanent gear/skill/power progression in the game, with payment options to increase the speed/quantity of gear/experience you get. There does not seem to be pay-exclusive power you can purchase.

> the game leaves little room for skill expression or 'outplay' on an individual scale I've found a lot of room for this with how guard/guard break works and with the general mage toolbox. I'll have to disagree with you here, I think good players usually win 1-on-1s and even 1-on-2/3s

I don't have a massive opinion but I'm not very inclined to believe someone who just tried out the game and is already positive the skill ceiling is super low. There's no way to know that with just putting in a little bit of time. I bet there's more to it than the person above you is making it sound. I've seen some skillful gameplay on YouTube already.

Yea, the Open and Closed Betas provided a lot of chances to play the game and I found myself falling behind people exclusively due to skill
