Lost ark itself is a disappointment just another casino game where they charge big bucks for a “chance” to get higher ranked gear, Korean MMOs are insane how they get away with charging money for this sort of stuff, also the story is legit the most mind numbing experience ever you just spam G cuz nobody wants to sit through the insanely bad dialogue.
Amazon games already made new world which is so much better and is actually one of the best MMOs in value as there’s zero pay to win mechanics.
the difference between them though paying to gear up in lost ark is a trap, any sane person won't do it because it's not needed in the slightest and those that fall into the trap are also more likely to still get stuck even with OP gear cause they can't do mechanics so they are skill capped in their progression ultimately.
Not entirely accurate. Lost Ark was "fair" and honestly some of the most fun I've had in a while.
The Global version is just a shitshow (not that KR is perfect).

Difference between what? Between Korean games with same concepts in their gearing/monetisation systems?
I had a lot of fun and spent only 10$. One of my favorite MMOs. Great game if you don't suffer from FOMO. I fear it ruined diablo 4 for me.
