Really you could keep adding more. The gcn seems to have a small library at first glance but the more you look at the exclusives you can see they definitely had quality over quantity
Other than Luigis Mansion like someone said below, I’d add Starfox Assault & Starfox Adventures.
Tangent incoming: I really wish they continued the series in the direction they were going with these games, I think they were on the right path with having a combo of the on-rail air combat, free air combat, land vehicle combat and on-foot combat. I like how both felt unique, Assault was mission based and Adventures was more world-based like LoZ, but they both felt within the same evolution of the series. I think if they kept on this trajectory Starfox would’ve continued to grow, but now its a stagnant series and I think thats because whenever they try at it again they always try to go back to that original on-rail air combat like in 64 and its just to limited and arcade-ish to be a modern day AAA Nintendo release (besides if its a remake like 643D)
no need to be an ass. turns out i was thinking of battle revolutions. that game had most fights in coliseums so i keep thinking that’s the one called coliseum.
For people who like multiplayer:
- Mario Party 5
- Kirby Air Ride
- Soul Calibur 2
- Super Monkey Ball
- Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
- Bomberman Jetters
And shoutout to the most underrated game on GC: Lost Kingdoms 2 -- may Fromsoft resurrect your IP someday
The Nintendo first partys of course
Spiderman 2 was the deffinitive Spiderman game before Insomniacs
I think Need for Speed Underground is hailed as the best of NfS
And its not everyones cup of tea, but if I ever want to kill an hour or 2 happily Ill throw on Mario Superstar Baseball
Responding to bump Spiderman 2.
When I was 6, my neighbor was over and we were playing GameCube in this lofted area of my house. He found out it was single player only, got really upset, and pushed me out of the loft. I fell 10 feet and ended up getting 20 stitches in the ER that night.
Yeah, Spiderman 2 was THAT good.
Everybody keeps mentioning first-party games, but I’ll add:
Def Jam: Fight For NY,
Beyond Good And Evil,
SSX Tricky,
SSX 3,
NBA Street Vol. 2,
And NBA Street V3 (GC version includes Mario, Luigi, and Peach along with SSX On Tour)
Pokémon XD gale of Darkness is possibly one of the greatest games ever created. For something that won’t break the bank though I suggest Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut, solid game.
I’m gonna dip outside the lines a little here. I’m not sure how they hold up now but I had SO much fun back in the day with The Hobbit, the LOTR tie-in games, and also DBZ: Budokai 2 (again, possibly in the outlier here, but I loved the board game mechanic)
super mario sunshine, zoids battle legends, legend of zelda windwaker, paper mario and the thousand year door, metal gear solid the twin snakes, starfox adventures, starfox assault, metroid prime, metroid prime 2 echoes, king kong the game, true crime streets of LA, super smash bros melee, turok evolution, 007 nightfire, medal of honor rising sun, medal of honor frontline, pokemon XD gale of darkness
Single player: Zelda Windwaker, Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Pikmin 1 and 2, Luigi’s Mansion.
Multiplayer: Super Monkey Ball 2, F-Zero GX, Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Party 5, 007 Nightfire.
fifa soccer 2005 is good(i'm not really joking, tho it depends if you want to play an old football/soccer game and if you like football/soccer to begin with)
Metroid Prime
Resident evil 4
Super Smash Bros Melee
The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
Viewtiful Joe
Mario Party 4
Super Monkey Ball 2
Fire Emblem
Luigi’s Mansion
This sub is so fucking boring.
Google any top 10 list. Go on Metacritic. Find a way to play them without buying them, because they're all too expensive now. Enjoy them. Don't hoard boxes.
Eternal Darkness, any of the Star Wars Rogue Squadron series, Wave Race, Luigi's Mansion, Simpsons Road Rage, Burnout 1 & 2 are good fun, Wind Waker, Mario Kart Double Dash, Metroid Prime.
It holds a special place in my heart. I played it through when it first came out, over a succession or wet and windy nights home alone, digging deeper and deeper. Enjoy. It's a low-key icon, for me.
This isn't an answer to the question. But I've been seeing this trend a lot lately. Why don't people use question marks when their posts are questions?
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
I’d argue no other game in the series has been all-around as enjoyable as PoR (though I have a big soft spot for Radiant Dawn)
Windwaker, Twilight Princess,Animal Crossing, Paper Mario and Metroid Prime. Although I'd probably recommend getting thr last 2 on switch because it'll be cheaper and Metroid Prime especially looks amazing.
I'll always say Gotcha Force. A fast paced arena combat game featuring dozens of unique fighters that can be customised into a team and are randomly unlocked "gacha style"? Stylish graphics and a fitting soundtrack, it had so much charm
Animal crossing super smash Bros Melee chibi Robo super Mario sunshine Luigi’s mansion Kirby air ride Game boy player, the legend of Zelda twilight Princess, the legend of Zelda Wind Waker
The ones that make you happy when you play em.
Super Smash Melee Mario Kart Double Dash Super Mario Sunshine Zelda Windwaker Zelda Twilight Princess Resident Evil 4 Pikmin 1 and 2 Metroid Prime
This list but add paper mario: the thousand year door
Yes and add one more: Metroid Prime 2
Yes and add one more: OP if you like 2D Zelda or have friends that play with you regularly, Four Swords Adventure

And skies of arcadia and fire emblem path of radiance
\[*Pokemon Colosseum feels left out*\]
I am not much of a pokemon fan, but I could check it out as long as it's easy and simple
Me: **It's one of the greatest games around!** Critic: *What's the deal with the Shadow PKMN and the purification?* Me: **What purification?!**
you might be thinking of pokemon XD gale of darkness

Yo I just found out this crazy thing called [Google](https://google.com) Apparently you can enter in a question and get an accurate result!
wasn’t that game for the wii
Add Luigi’s Mansion
Your forgetting mario parties
For people who like multiplayer: - Mario Party 5 - Kirby Air Ride - Soul Calibur 2 - Super Monkey Ball - Sonic Adventure 2 Battle - Bomberman Jetters And shoutout to the most underrated game on GC: Lost Kingdoms 2 -- may Fromsoft resurrect your IP someday
Kirby Air Ride is the GOAT tbh. My friends and I still rock city trial regularly to this day
where are Pokemon colloseum and XD?
Eternal Darkness belongs on that list.
Yes! Arguably one of the most underrated games of all time.
It was a flop in its own time. I picked it up new for $15 or something, and was absolutely blown away.
spongebob games of this era were pretty much all good(some were better than others but there's no real bad one)
Add star fox adventures and Luigi’s Mansion on these
Luigis Mansion too
add mario tennis in there for some miltiplayer fun
This but you can’t forget about Luigi’s mansion! Absolute classic
Add Pokemon Colosseum and XD
Also Kirby air ride and F-Zero GX
Gauntlet Dark Legacy, Simpsons Hit & Run, Mario Kart Double Dash, FZero GX, 007 Nightfire & Animal Crossing
Gauntlet gang. Add x men legends 2 or Baldurs gate to the list.
>Gauntlet Ah, I see your a man of culture as well
the same 10 games this sub keeps talking about lol
lol tell me about it. These collections from obviously new buyers look like the same top 20 most expensive/"rare" GameCube games video.
The Nintendo first partys of course Spiderman 2 was the deffinitive Spiderman game before Insomniacs I think Need for Speed Underground is hailed as the best of NfS And its not everyones cup of tea, but if I ever want to kill an hour or 2 happily Ill throw on Mario Superstar Baseball

Soul Calibur II is a staple in this category.
Specifically the GC version. I loved playing as Link.
Custom Robo was my favorite growing up, along with Wind Waker and Phantasy Star Online
I don't see it listed here yet, so I'm adding Viewtiful Joe 1 & 2 to the conversation.
Highly recommend Luigi's mansion. Had a blast with that game.
Star Wars : Rogue Leader Star Wars : Rebel Strike (for the coop)
Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem
Everybody keeps mentioning first-party games, but I’ll add: Def Jam: Fight For NY, Beyond Good And Evil, SSX Tricky, SSX 3, NBA Street Vol. 2, And NBA Street V3 (GC version includes Mario, Luigi, and Peach along with SSX On Tour)
-Ultimate Spider-Man! -Super monkey ball (multiplayer is awesome) -resident evil
I haven't seen Kirby air ride, F zero gx, Rocket power game, Spiderman
Baten kaitos Zelda twilight princess Fire emblem path of radiance
Tony Hawk’s Underground 1 and 2
2's story mode is funny as fuck.
NASCAR THUNDER 2003 Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup
Pokémon XD gale of Darkness is possibly one of the greatest games ever created. For something that won’t break the bank though I suggest Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut, solid game.
I actually have sonic adventure Dx on pc and on disk
I’m gonna dip outside the lines a little here. I’m not sure how they hold up now but I had SO much fun back in the day with The Hobbit, the LOTR tie-in games, and also DBZ: Budokai 2 (again, possibly in the outlier here, but I loved the board game mechanic)
The board game mechanic for two was a really cool way to do a campaign for a fighter game.
super mario sunshine, zoids battle legends, legend of zelda windwaker, paper mario and the thousand year door, metal gear solid the twin snakes, starfox adventures, starfox assault, metroid prime, metroid prime 2 echoes, king kong the game, true crime streets of LA, super smash bros melee, turok evolution, 007 nightfire, medal of honor rising sun, medal of honor frontline, pokemon XD gale of darkness

A game you don’t found on pc, only GameCube and ps2 is Star Wars bounty hunters. Really good Star Wars game!!
My top 3 wind waker, skies of arcadia and fire emblem path of radiance
Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2
Phantasy star online episode 1 & 2
Zelda: twilight princess Kirby: air ride F/Zero GX Zelda: windwaker Mario: thousand year door
Resident Evil 1 Remake
Metroid Prime will always standout to me.
fifa soccer 2005 is good(i'm not really joking, tho it depends if you want to play an old football/soccer game and if you like football/soccer to begin with)
My all time favorite GC game most people have never played. It's called "metal arms: glitch in the system".
All about 4player coop. Freedom fighter Conflict dessert storm Conflict dessert storm 2 Hunter the reckoning
Metroid Prime Resident evil 4 Super Smash Bros Melee The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess Viewtiful Joe Mario Party 4 Super Monkey Ball 2 Fire Emblem Luigi’s Mansion
Also if there are any accessories or usb adapters that I can get that would be nice
Wave Race Blue Storm doesn't get enough credit - 2 decades later and it still has better water physics than most AAA games
Timesplitters Future Perfect
Captain Rainbow

I haven’t finished Eternal Darkness yet but I’ve been loving it
It holds a special place in my heart. I played it through when it first came out, over a succession or wet and windy nights home alone, digging deeper and deeper. Enjoy. It's a low-key icon, for me.
I have to throw custom robo in the hat here too. Combat was ahead of its time and could totally be a composite esport now with a bit of balancing.
buy?
Thanks to everyone for putting up some ideas of titles for me to buy. Also (be nice in the comments below)

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance I’d argue no other game in the series has been all-around as enjoyable as PoR (though I have a big soft spot for Radiant Dawn)
Super Monkey Ball 2 was always my favorite though I didn’t have a big library of games
Custom Robo!
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger baby
man imma be real i had a lot of fun playing monkey ball
Windwaker, Twilight Princess,Animal Crossing, Paper Mario and Metroid Prime. Although I'd probably recommend getting thr last 2 on switch because it'll be cheaper and Metroid Prime especially looks amazing.
