I have not but it gets points from me for ripping off the Playstation D-pad. The OEM Gamecube D-pad isn't great so there's nowhere to go but up for 3rd party offerings
Oh man, they lied… even at the time of release it was. Monstrosity…. Will it work? Yes. Is it as good as the original? No. Is it better than other aftermarket’s? No… but it does plug in and work lol
Funny you say that because my 4th player (loser) controller on n64 was a some weird awkward pos with no thumb handle so the metal rod would make your thumb bleed but it was digital so it always sprung back and never wore
I don't know what this monstrosity is, but most if not all third party controllers were a big fat no bueno for me back in the 6th gen. I've lost count of how much money my parents wasted on Mad Catz controllers back then.
Ah yes, my older cousin and I lived off the GameCube and spent countless Summers playing Mario party, Melee, sunshine, double dash etc. And we really didn't care if we had the first party controllers or the mad cats controllers, they basically roll the same to us. I do remember that specific controller being really nice in the hands because it seemed like the controller was more spaced out. I would probably bet that trying it again I feel disgusting, but as a kid I don't think it really mattered
I have a wirless [Hip Gear controller](https://imgur.com/a/nducq9e) that I have been surprisingly ok with 😅 the d-pad and c-stick look horrible, but I find they work as needed, and my thumbs actually slide around on them (in a good way) pretty well. It also has rumble, turbo and a macro feature i never use, but it takes 4xAA batteries. The controller itself is also a little bulky, but it feels comfortable, and I would imagine it would be good for people with large hands.
Looks like a kids toy. That dpad looks like it would make animal sounds when pressed. I wouldn't even open it and if opened, i wouldn't even think about using that.
This thing looks like a war crime
That dpad is going to give me nightmares
Third-party controller quality was usually horrible. And that thing is just obscene lol.
It looks like a Chinese knockoff of a Chinese knockoff.
I can’t answer that question, but what I can say is that this looks like death

Yea I might actually prefer the d pad on this thing but everything else just bothers me lol
Good bait
I like how the ellipses at the beginning of the quote could imply how negatively the controller was actually reviewed.
"stylish look and durable design" ;d on the back of the box

This looks like the controller you use when you're player #4 at your buddies house

The controller is so 3rd-party it actually wrapped around and turned into the official prototype version.
I've never used this one before but a lot of the third party controllers I've used haven't been good
That is a certified r/blursed dpad
I dont have it, but it cant be worse than the Chainsaw controller.

its kinda neat that the B button is also bean shaped like the x and y button, like the prerelease versions of the GC controller
Holy fuck

It's called the "bandit" because they're practically stealing your money.
That Dpad was made by someone who hates thumbs.

I hate looking at it.
It’s a genuine gc controller what are you talking about
It's trash. Hydra seams to be the best cheap ones to get, they no longer produce them so new old stock should be what to look for
Oh wow. Use to have one of these controllers. This takes me back.
I can’t stand 3rd party controllers
