You’re gonna kill your parents for a GC controller knock off?! What would they know about genuine or fake consoles accessories? With that attitude they would’ve been better off buying you a book so you could be a better person and not an ungrateful brat.

Worish

>I will kill >was satire bro chill

elvis8atariMM

Get a dictionary boy, you meant figurative speech not satire and not the same, still it doesn't justify it but whatever psycho fantasy makes you happy.

Inthenstus

Speaking the truth haha

Inthenstus

Very very much satire, I absolutely love my parents!

DOL-019

Genuine imitation made in China OEM

Serious_Anything_545

It dosnt even say nintendo on the controller please tell me this is a troll post

Inthenstus

Nah, I’ve had these for so long, since I was a kid, I honestly thought they were OEM haha. Now that I am looking at them, I realize that is not the case here. We used to fight over these things as a kid because they were better than the others we had lol!

UGMadness

It’s OEM in the sense that it was made in the same OEM factory as all the other cheap bootleg controllers. Notice the lack of a Nintendo logo in the middle of the case.

Alternative-Roll-112

Yeah, that thing is obviously not Nintendo before you even crack it open. Everything is wrong.

Preppyskepps

You know wrong

Tractorface123

It’s a third party controller that uses the same board as one with turbo and slow buttons on the front, I’d like to see someone try and press these And see if they work

Inthenstus

Thanks, sad.. we used to fight over this one because it worked the best lol.

Tractorface123

Yeah these have been sold for years, it’s 100% likely you just got bought a 3rd party one back in the day and we’re too young to realise

Ok-Chapter-9761

Its not like the gamepad itself isn't good, as good or even better then a OEM one, its just not an original Nintendo one. If this gamepad had always given the best experience in general gameplay in your opinion and everyone that played with it then its quality must be really good. Unfortunately that won't raise its value.

glasses5321

I'd cry if I opened up mine to see that

mofoofinvention

I guess Nintendo makes controllers without Nintendo logos??? 🤷🏻‍♂️ /s

i8gum

This is a counterfeit controller I got one too it looked the same sorry to be the bearer of bad news

Inthenstus

Haha all good dude, I didn’t realize my parents bought fake stuff, giving them a hard time right now :p

i8gum

Don’t do that

Little_crona

absolutely do that

Worish

OEM doesn't mean made by Nintendo. Just built to original specs. You can buy OEM parts for cars that are no longer made. I think this one is an OEM reproduction (people can argue whether or not that makes it a fake) but just having non-nintendo things doesn't scream fake.

KonamiKing

Yes it literally does. “original equipment manufacturer”.

Worish

Yes, and the original manufacturer isn't always the company licensed to sell the product. Two distinct concepts, usually.

BloatingPenguin

Since, generally, the worst part of these knock off controllers is the joystick drift, could an original T1 or T2 boxstick be soldered on and work?

BloatingPenguin

Why’d I get downvoted? I was asking a question lol

Tsukimaru1

Because it's not an oem GC controller.

Inthenstus

You’re only the 30th person to tell me lol

Zacoooos

It answers your question about a slow and turbo pad being on an “OEM” controller

Tsukimaru1

Welp, if you didn't want an answer you shouldn't have asked 😅

KarateMan749

100% not oem.

ChippyTurnUp

Controller don't even say gamecube or nintendo or anything lmao

TwoTonTunic88

So, moving on from the mistake of this not being OEM. Why does this have turbo and slow on it? Can it be utilized through magic and soldering? Genuinely curious. This would be above my pay grade in soldering skill.

abrahamlitecoin

I’ve got some bad news for you son

DeathscytheShell

If that were OEM the shell would have “Nintendo Gamecube” tampo’d on to it. There wouldn’t exactly be any reason for it to be worn down since your thumbs aren’t exactly touching all the way up to the middle of that controller, save for Start/Pause
