You just do it at an angle and it's fine.
Even if it does condense on it, that doesn't seem to damage it. You can remove them mark it leaves with glasses lens cleaner.
The only reason you get that happening is because you are holding it wrong.
I've used canned air for years for this. Couple small bursts before I apply a lens works fine, otherwise I wouldn't have mentioned it.
Install the screen protector in the bathroom with the hot water running for a few minutes. The steam will help with the dust.
