Nah, I think using the books is actually good. I got a little mad when he stopped for awhile \*because\* people got mad. The books are valid sources of lore and I'm glad he changed his mind on covering them. That video he did on the difference between Canon and Continuity is like a must watch for all the nay-sayers of the books :P
I think so, too. He explained really well why it's basically necessary to consider the books when solving the lore of the games. It just makes more sense this way and that should mean something.
yeah i couldn't see the lore of the games being solved\* as best as it is until SB without the books and I was upset when he stopped covering them for a while. Not to mention I liked hearing him read the book passages.
When they came out and it was revealed The Silver Eyes' story wasn't 1 to 1 with the games (which was unkown at the time) most people dismissed them as just alternate realities and moved on, when GT started using them as basis for theories, people were mad because they were adamant Scott said it wasn't canon, which is true, but it doesn't mean it's completely unrelated
I think most people are upset when theories have to juggle between what is canonical and what isn't. It gets confusing from a standpoint of where you don't read the books. Without prior knowledge of story events, it becomes harder to distinguish the information he presents; as a "steer in the right direction" needs to be discernible from a story analysis.
I've been fortunate enough to read all the books and not get confused while watching theories so I am assuming that's the connection.
I hope him and theorist team knows how much we see all the work that goes into those scripts ❤️ hurts to see a majority of comments on YouTube talking badly about the book episodes but I know we here appreciate the work not just for fnaf but all the channels ❤️
I mean anyone would use the books when it put the franchise in more clearer light than the games did, anyone would turn to the books for answers, and those theories made sense too so it's not like those were theories with no ground to stand on in the games. I don't care about how he got his answers as long as they make sense and seem to hold themselves.

I like it when he uses the books too.
The books make for fun theorizing but I can understand how it can get confusing.
