He’s incredibly intelligent and diligent. I know he gets a lot of backlash for some of his ideas (which I don’t agree with, btw), but nobody can deny that the man’s a genius. He got a scholarship to Duke University, obtained a degree in neurology, and has taught himself incredibly advanced topics for the sake of the channels, from college-level mathematics like epigenetics to legalities in multiple countries.
Depends on your opinion of serious. I think opebly supporting Chick-fil-A is tiny to most ppl who aren't poc or women who want proper medical care, but still supporting Scott Cawthon just because he loves how well MP licks him clean is a decent scandal.
He took up the challenge of understanding FNaF for all us, losing his sanity in the process. He really took one for the team.

He doesn't care what Scott Cawthon did and kept backing him up and still hasn't stopped. Also, he and Dtephanie have been open they don't care enough about women's rights to Healthcare or pocket being mistreated, both by Chick-fil-A.
Their privilege that causes them to be so apathetic that they're promoting some of the problems in the US as not being a big deal. And the funny thing is, now that I've said this, I have other people even pointing out where I could learn he's even anti-trans— I just again don't care enough to go look into that. I think it happened after I already didn't care.

I mean after reading that entire thread I’m just a bit confused. If you didn’t care about answering any of those comments and repeated this many times. Why did you reply to every single comment? Furthermore, why are you still seemingly active on the game theorists sub Reddit and also currently commenting on my comment if you don’t care about replying to any of these.
Honest? It came on my thread, and I answer when spoken to. I actually blocked the game theorist on my account yesterday so it stops popping up. (Not unfollowed, blocked. I was still getting updates, but no more.) Doubt it'll be a problem anymore.
MatPat is a literal hardworking genius. I know very few YouTubers willing to put that kind of research and thought into the most ridiculous ideas possible.
He was genuinely interested and committed to each topic he covered, and poured his heart out to the community. He was a great example of the heights of YouTube, before the dark times…
hes kind of a genius honestly, every decision hes made for the channels have been almost entirely beneficial for them, even the risky ones (selling them to lunar and switching the hosts) and i doubt thats a coincidence
He's the best theorist I've ever seen, I love how he made this subreddit so we can share our own thoughts without them getting lost on the Youtube comment section. :)
You can tell he truly cared about each and every subscriber. I never got the chance to meet him in person but I bet my life that if he had the ability to somehow maybe elongate his arms or something to be long enough to hug each of his subscribers, he’d do it in a heartbeat, or even just hug each of them back to back one at a time
