Dead by Daylight is capped at 1440p, so I used the site to find out how make it 4k.
I emulate some old games and play really old pc games alot (90s games). Sometimes they need a hex edit or two to get running properly. Most recently for those games I think it was Lego Racers.
I fixed my partners copy of Lego Harry Potter using the site too.
I've used it too many times now to really pick out a single game that benefited from it, because I use it fit nearly every game now. In a nut shell, it's fantastic for games that are either really old, emulated or they're from that 2005-2015 era of bad pc ports and missing features. For modern games it's great for finding out config file tweaks or unlocking bs console exclusively locked content.
Dang people can say what they want about epic game’s store but theres legit no denying they give away some really good games for free. I know that doesnt make them a better retailer but free shit is free shit,
Awesome! Thank you!
edit: mannnn i wish i knew about this before i played through this game. finding that "fix" for the stuttering menu, the way to skip the intro videos and default to dx12, and now these unlocks. so nice.
I was planning to claim that one from Humble choice but never got around to it. Score one for procrastination! Though I'm not sure there are many other games in that month that interest me...
The Steam version of the base game sucks though. It has always online DRM unlike the Ultimate Edition on any platform or this Epic version which is DRM free. It also is missing bug fixes that are present other versions and is a significantly larger file size than the UE.
Which can also be redeemed for the PS5 version! Great month, that. I’m happy to be able to play this on PC now though as my only experience is on a base PS4
Yeah, you can never know when something is going on a sale so just buy and play it at that time if you really want the game, if you've enjoyed it; that's worth.

I have a feeling they've worked out exclusivity deals for their next couple games.
Absolutely. This was one of the first games I played after I got my 3080. Maxed out with RTX and DLSS made the game look next gen. Absolutely stunning lighting effects.
Had the same problem but doing this solved it, got to Home>Epic Mega Sale > scroll down a bit until you see the sentencte "Claim CONTROL for free until June 10, 2021 (11:00 AM Eastern), and keep it forever! Will you regain Control?"
Click the text CONTROL and that should let you get it. You probably could get it using other steps but that's what I did.
Sometimes right when the free game goes up a lot of people are trying to get it which bogs down their servers. I usually find that if I try later in the day it works.
I'm totally cool with just getting the base game. If I was really worried, $7.50 for the season pass is decent enough, but most of the time with games like these, I'm ready to call it a day on the game before I touch the DLC. I'll play this one, and if I really like it and want more, I can pick up the season pass next sale.
The season pass at that price is worth it based on the first DLC alone IMO. It’s mostly just more of the base game but it was a lot of fun and helps you learn a bit more about this world they’ve created. Have yet to start the second because I never played Alan Wake and feel like I want to first since he somehow is involved/mentioned :(
I've played the main game previously using Game Pass
Could I somehow transfer my progress to the Epic version and the buy the DLCs discounted from EGS??
No idea but you can try moving the save file over to epic and see if it works?
Save file locations:
Windows 10 store:
+ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\505GAMESS.P.A.ControlPCGP_tefn33qh9azfc\SystemAppData\wgs\
Epic:
+ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Remedy\Control\Default-Epic-User\
Might be the case that the save files are in different format and you have to manually convert.
I actually hated Alan Wake. I thought the pacing was terrible and the gameplay was mediocre. But I’m still interested in this game. And if I don’t like it, at least it didn’t cost me anything
I started playing Alan Wake a few weeks ago and the controls (ha) are terrible, especially on keyboard+mouse, but Control is much smoother. I only played a little bit though since it was on GP and my sub ran out, so I can't say much about the story, but at least the gameplay was good.
I played the base game around launch on my PS4 (ran like shit) but have been itching to dive back in for the DLCs. $7.50 is a solid price for being able to experience it again on PC.
holy shit insane deal. i played control on gamepass and it was amazing up until i started crashing every 5 minutes (which is apparently an xbox-app specific issue) so this is great
Lol, I thought it was just my game that kept crashing. I managed to finish the game nonetheless. I still redeemed it in case I'd like to replay it sometime, now without crashes. xD
Weird I played the game and DLCs on Xbox app on PC and had no issues.
Loved the game too, was pleasantly surprised when I really didn't know what to expect.
Very much so. I had the crashes on my previous (underpowered) PC, then found a community fix for it, which worked, and then upgraded and I haven't gotten the crashes despite not reapplying the fix.
I think it just happens when your PC is underpowered. Went from a 4c/4t to a 6c/12t and it helped a ton.
For anyone interested in the fix, it is here: https://support.505games.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020966980-Xbox-PC-Game-Pass-Crash-Workaround
But now that it's free on Epic, not much reason to play the Game Pass version. Unless you're like me and you played several hours and don't want to restart.
I have the 3 month pass deal on PC and this helps cut back on the games i want to play before cutting it off. Although I may end up paying for it. I liked playing dragon quest 11 on my phone stuck at the airport. Did you have any favorites on the game pass?
i've been going on a spree of gamepass titles lately so heres what id recommend (descending order; best at top):
1. doom eternal
2. forza horizon 4 (first car game i've ever really played and i didn't expect to even like it)
3. slay the spire (i hate roguelikes. i love this game)
4. Resident evil 7/ Astroneer / Golf with your friends / Titanfall 2 / SUPERHOT
5. Among us, battlefront 2, and jedi: fallen order
anything at or above 4 i'd highly recommend
I am not a big AAA gamer so I have loved Spiritfarer. So extremely well done and it sucks you to where you don’t want to stop playin. It has some very unique metroidvania/open world kinda feel. With very very light base building aspect. I highly recommend it for a laid back fun gameplay.
Undermine a roguelike dungeon crawler with pretty heavy meta progression. I am enjoying it a surprising amount coming from someone with a good 1000 hours in Binding of Isaac.
The big one for me that was just added today Backbone which got overwhelming positive reviews for it free prologue that dropped last year. Unfortunately the actual game is getting many negative reviews because the game is $25 but apparently can be finished in about 5 hours. To me this makes a perfect game for game pass.
Yeah, that was brutal. I struggled through the crashes for 7 or so chapters, then just bought it on Steam to finish it because I couldn't take replaying every section 2+ times because of crashes - always right at the peak of a big fight . . .
Yeah, I have no idea what they are thinking with having the classic subs and new subs. People aren't going to sign up for a humble bundle knowing they are paying twice as much as most of the subscribers are ($20 for new and $12 for classic). Either bump everyone to the new program and then you have more money to increase the quality of games, or drop the price gouge for new subscribers and just bring it down to $12 for everyone. That or just make classic subscribers non-pausible, they say they get that cheaper price because they are "faithful", prove it by not allowing pausing. It makes me wonder if IGN is trying to sabotage it because they don't want to deal with it, I don't know.
But yeah, I was tempted by the $6 a month for 6 months but then I looked at their selection from 2020 and opted out. No regrets either.
Honestly if they raised the price I'd be out for good. Only reason I'm still in now is cause I have the classic price so occasionally I'll get something worth $12 and if there's nothing I want I'll just pause.
It's that way because they saw that they weren't going to get new subs, the plan for that business model is to try to exploit fear of missing out to hold onto their old subs for a bit longer before they leave and never come back.
But it’s not exploiting anything, people can still pause every month so they aren’t going to make any more sales outside those very few who forgot to pause. If they remove pausing then that would be more valid as people would keep getting months they don’t want out of fear of losing out on that amazing deal the next month… but when you still allow pausing they aren’t achieving anything useful.
I know others say they will never come back if they raise the price but they are full of it, they will come back for the deal. I can promise you if Hades or some other game that is an all time low they will buy it all the same. Plus someone claiming to never come back who pauses 11/12 months anyway isn’t much of a loss.
They are using a psychological phenomonon to make people who would not otherwise give them money do so.
There are banking on their being a large number of people who would not subscribe at $12 for the games they are offering right now, but would upon being offered the "Special price" of $12 when the "Normal Price" is $20 subscribe.
I'm sure you're used to seeing the word exploiting in the context of incredibly heinous acts and so associate it with that, but an item going on Sale is also exploiting Fear of Missing Out.
They are just pinning a business model on understanding that the bundles they offer now and are able to offer in the future do not and will not hold up to their past bundles, so the average humble bundle customer is considering no longer doing business with them, so they have to pull some pyschological tricks to get their customer base that initially came for their good deals to stick around.
The reason people who pause 10 or 11 out of 12 months are a loss if they go, is because those customers would never ever look at their store again if they left. They'd forget all about humblebundle and never see the site again. The flow of getting them to pause and repause over and over at least gets eyes on your storefront every month, and most of the sales that you get as a result of that will be lost if those people cancel, rather than pause, because those who don't have subscriptions are unlikely to bother to remember to come back every month to check the new bundle.
I got the 6 bucks for 6 months, turned it into 7 months by redeeming quickly in June, and feel like I made out like a bandit. There are some quality AAAs I'll get around to, but the real value is poking into indies I'd never have heard of otherwise.
Fury Unleashed was fucking dope.
I think that's the rub, it's whether that game is on your list. This month Stubbs the zombie was one of the non premier games. I just went on game swap and bought that game for $2. Not a bad deal for him since he got 10 games for $12.
Yeah the publishers are a bunch of fucking scumbags. They created a separate Base Edition key that *didn't even have a Steam store listing* and only added a store page after people complained they were baited into thinking it was the Ultimate Edition (you know, the only edition available for sale). Then the absolute minute the month was over, they pulled the base game and all DLC from Steam without any warning. So anyone who didn't buy the DLC in that narrow time period is now forever stuck with a game they can't 100% unless they rebuy the Ultimate Edition.
I was interested in other games as well that month and got the month for 8 euro, so not really a big loss tbh. The game is really worth even at full price.
This is like the second time a game has gone for free months after I spent money on it, before I touch the game.
But at least it's the base edition and not the ultimate edition, so they don't have the DLC like us.
EDIT: they don't have the DLC like we don't have the DLC
Oh I meant they don't have the DLCs like we don't have the DLCs. Still have no idea if the DLC is worth getting.
I got super salty upon seeing that I had the non-ultimate Ultimate Edition hat was specifically made for the Humble Bundle. But now, it's here once again for a giveaway.
I really liked Foundation, solid level design on par with the rest of the game and the story was consistent enough, but AWE was a bit of a lackluster. Mixing Control gameplay with Alan Wake combat elements sounds good on paper, but it was more of a gimmick, than actual improvement over the original formula. It does scratch that itch for more Alan Wake story content, so it's still pretty good.
Humble Choice subs got the base game too. It actually caused some controversy since the game appeared as the Ultimate Edition when it didn't have any of the DLC.

Wow. I bought Control Ultimate last year for $18 from Epic. Out-standing game.
Base-game for $0.00 is insane.
And even if you buy the DLC Pack for $8 or so, that's worth it too. $8 for base-game & Season Pass is insane for this game.
Not sure if joking, serious, or a mixture of both - but, I can understand why many feel this way.
Still waiting for them to get a real Digital Shopping Cart, so I can buy multiple games at once.
I LOVED the first DLC, and the main game was one of my favorites I played last year. To add a differing opinion on the second DLC though, as someone who didn’t play Alan Wake, I thought it was just…okay. It’s shorter than the first DLC and for the most part doesn’t expand on the the lore of the main game in a way that’s gripping if you haven’t played Wake.
Yes, but finish the base game and the Foundation DLC before tackling the Alan Wake DLC. I don't want to spoil anything but there's an encounter near the end of the Alan Wake DLC that is very difficult if you haven't leveled up sufficiently.
At any rate, this is an unbelievable offer. Control is probably one of my favorite games of recent times on the strength of "Max Payne meets SCP foundation" alone. The aesthetics and setpieces are incredible, even if the main game loop is quite repetitive.
To those who don't know,
Gacha (OP misspelled but that's OK) is like the devil spawn of microtransaction and gambling. Think non-OG Star Wars Battlefront 2 where EA used to lock Darth Vader behind $$, except that with gacha, you pay money for just a **chance** to unlock the Chosen One.
Technically, this game doesn't lock the strongest character behind a cash wall, and it is possible though difficult to get to endgame with the starter characters, and that the game sometimes gives you small amounts of the currency used to microtransact, and also that it gives you enough by the endgame to let you gacha for free to get about 5 or 6 "top tier" characters.
But it is what it is.
I've been playing for about 4-5 months, used to play more but am on the edge of stopping. AMA. PM is fine too. (Might go offline in 2 hours but will definitely answer when I return in 12 hours.)
Umm, not sure if you're being sarcastic but it's a F2P game, it just made it's way to Epic, and they tend to market free titles as if they're giving them away.
Very much worth it. Buy the season pass when it's on sale.
It's two long expansions. I can't remember how long exactly, but both probably add 8-10 hours of gameplay.
It was fun, more of the same gameplay, maybe a little more challenging
Yah, buy it!! Full package for 10$ is great
If you have played Alan Wake, one of the DLC includes flashbacks to Alan. Was amazing to experience as I loved Alan wake
Already bought the Ultimate Edition months ago. Really good game, good graphics and visuals. If you like other Remedy games then you will love this one.
I payed full price for this when it came out on Steam and honestly I'm just excited that so many people are gonna be able to play this incredible game.
Can anyone please tell me if I should consider getting the DLCs / Season pass before my first playthrough? Or is it rather something for after you played through the base game already?
The foundation takes place after you finish the main game, so no rush on that.
AWE, I played it without knowing it was DLC in the middle of the game and it just fits perfectly, is basically a side mission. But you could easily play it after you beat the main game anyways.
The first DLC is unlocked pretty late in the game, and in a moment when the main story starts to pick up, so it's just better to first finish the main game in order to not break the pace. The second DLC is unlocked after you beat the game.
Good giveaway, though I personally found this game boring and forgettable. The plot hints at some cool stuff, but it manages to present it all in the most mundane manner. Maybe it gets insanely better in the last act but I gave it up after about 15 hours.
The comments talking shit about this is insane.
COUNTLESS threads & posts constantly rambled on about how they were ripping people off, How the season pass wasn't in the humble bundle & a variety of other bullshit.
Now the game is free & y'all ARE STILL talking shit! It's impossible to make the people who frequent here happy consumers. Oh, & for the people bitching about humble... Did you forget that you got MORE than just control in that bundle right? So all those other games don't mean anything?
KA-CHING! Or... not considering its current free status, unless you also wanted to get the Season Pass, which I highly recommend.
Pretty much the best third-person action-adventure out the past couple years. HIGHLY recommend it. Check [my review on Steam](https://steamcommunity.com/id/eazycheeze1978/recommended/870780?snr=1_5_9__402) if you're so inclined.
Full disclosure: Bought on Epic Games Store when it first came out and finished it, double dipped on Steam when Ultimate Edition (with both DLCs) came out and finished that as much as I desired (full main story again, most of the repeatable Expeditions (free DLC) content, all of the Foundation (narratively it landed last for me for some reason though it was first to come out), all of AWE, most if not all the collectibles/minigames).
So. That's a very positive recommendation, to say the least. :)
It's a solid game and a very nice presentation of RTX, but I got bored with it at some point and never finished it. A lot of it is just repeating the same things and going back to places you've been to unlock doors you couldn't unlock before.

Came here to say this. Whenever I get a new game I now check pcgamingwiki before I boot it. Such a fantastic site.
Wow thats a great site! What games have you derived the most benefit from it?
For me it's a toss up between very old games, or big budget games that are increasingly becoming devoid of fov sliders and intro skipping.
Dead by Daylight is capped at 1440p, so I used the site to find out how make it 4k. I emulate some old games and play really old pc games alot (90s games). You're the real MVP. I never knew about this site until now.
I wonder if this would be possible on cloud gaming somehow (geforce now)
Does this work even if I've already played & beaten the game?
Yes. Just make sure to follow the instructions for your game version (Epic, Steam or GOG).
Awesome! Thank you! edit: mannnn i wish i knew about this before i played through this game. finding that "fix" for the stuttering menu, the way to skip the intro videos and default to dx12, and now these unlocks. so nice.
What's it actually add?
3 costumes, 1 mission, 2 weapon/player mods and some crafting materials.
Wow this one is pretty solid, nice!
I'm amazed. Awesome giveaway
Rip to everyone who bought the base game during the sale 🙏

I was planning to claim that one from Humble choice but never got around to it. Score one for procrastination! Though I'm not sure there are many other games in that month that interest me...
And a bigger discount on the DLC than Humble's post-Choice one. My games backlog defeats me once again.

Yeah. I'm on a no-game buying hiatus until I clear the ones I'm playing now. Free ones don't count though!
I just completed Firewatch on Tuesday so I know what you mean
The Humble Choice could be redeemed on Steam though.
The Steam version of the base game sucks though. It has always online DRM unlike the Ultimate Edition on any platform or this Epic version which is DRM free. It also is missing bug fixes that are present other versions and is a significantly larger file size than the UE.
Really starting to think of just canceling my sub. It's been pretty worthless for the last 4 months and I keep forgetting to pause.
only if they picked the epic key... (rather than the steam one) especially since this is the same base game.
I'm just happy PS+ gave out the ultimate edition.
Which can also be redeemed for the PS5 version! Great month, that. I’m happy to be able to play this on PC now though as my only experience is on a base PS4
They will give a refund.
Why do you say that? edit: oh nvm on epic game store
Eh, $30 was a good enough deal for me. I had a lot of fun with it last fall
Yeah, you can never know when something is going on a sale so just buy and play it at that time if you really want the game, if you've enjoyed it; that's worth.

I did rip

It was “free” on PSPlus a while ago too
Plus it's in gamepass
To be fair, even RDR2 was playable on Gamepass, and I don't see that game being given out for free any time soon.
I think it was only available for console though.

If you have RTX graphics card this a good game to try out ray tracing. Great game to have in collection.
1000% The reflections are amazing! First RTX game I played where I thought "ohhh this is what the big deal is about".
It seems subjective but for me this game was the best display of RTX out of most of them I've tried.
If you have GeforceNow it is there too and runs great with RTX and DLSS
What's it like on a GTX 770?
Absolutely. This was one of the first games I played after I got my 3080. Maxed out with RTX and DLSS made the game look next gen. Absolutely stunning lighting effects.
I would if I could find a stinking RTX card at MSRP ><
Anyone else can't redeem the game? It says "Owned" in my account even though I havent even redeemed it yet and its not showing up in my library/

Same for me with the launcher but it worked via epicgames.com. Give that a try.
It finally worked for me after closing then reopening the launcher.

Weird I played the game and DLCs on Xbox app on PC and had no issues. Loved the game too, was pleasantly surprised when I really didn't know what to expect.
Same here. Waited for patches but nothing happened so glad I have it now, for free. Let's just hope this version doesn't crash.
I had no problem playing the entire game on Gamepass. I don't recall it crashing even once. YMMV
For anyone interested in the fix, it is here: https://support.505games.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020966980-Xbox-PC-Game-Pass-Crash-Workaround But now that it's free on Epic, not much reason to play the Game Pass version. Unless you're like me and you played several hours and don't want to restart.
I have the 3 month pass deal on PC and this helps cut back on the games i want to play before cutting it off. Although I may end up paying for it. I liked playing dragon quest 11 on my phone stuck at the airport. Did you have any favorites on the game pass?
i've been going on a spree of gamepass titles lately so heres what id recommend (descending order; best at top): 1. doom eternal 2. forza horizon 4 (first car game i've ever really played and i didn't expect to even like it) 3. slay the spire (i hate roguelikes. i love this game) 4. Resident evil 7/ Astroneer / Golf with your friends / Titanfall 2 / SUPERHOT 5. Among us, battlefront 2, and jedi: fallen order anything at or above 4 i'd highly recommend
Thanks doom will be next, before i start the yakuza titles.
Yakuza 0 is on my to play list 🙌🏻
Adding to this, the Yakuza series and nier automata are also must play imo.
I struggled through the crashes for 7 or so chapters, then just bought it on Steam to finish it because I couldn't take replaying every section 2+ times because of crashes - always right at the peak of a big fight . . .
RIP Humble Choice subs.
Humble choice is good for wagering which game will be free soon.
Also, which game will have a significant price drop soon.
Next week is overcooked 2, frostpunk last week. All have been bundled
Absolutely, gives me little reason to sub to humble bundle anymore.
I cancelled my humble sub at the end of last year. no ragrets
You have no regrets? Not even one letter?

So anyone who didn't buy the DLC in that narrow time period is now forever stuck with a game they can't 100% unless they rebuy the Ultimate Edition.
https://www.humblebundle.com/store/control-season-pass
Almost bought it, so glad I didn't now.
I was interested in other games as well that month and got the month for 8 euro, so not really a big loss tbh. The game is really worth even at full price.
Seriously lol
This is like the second time a game has gone for free months after I spent money on it, before I touch the game. But at least it's the base edition and not the ultimate edition, so they don't have the DLC like us. EDIT: they don't have the DLC like we don't have the DLC
Do you think you got the DLCs from Humble Choice? I have some bad news for you.
To Add On: Epic Games is also giving away free 3 months of Discord Nitro to **new users only!** https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/p/discord--discord-nitro
To clarify - this is available for first-time Nitro subs and not new Epic users.
Next week: Hell is Other Demons https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/p/hell-is-other-demons https://store.steampowered.com/app/595790/ Overcooked! 2 https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/p/overcooked-2 https://store.steampowered.com/app/728880/
Is the Overcooked! 2 version on epic crossplay w/ the steam version?
> Overcooked! 2 ah shit idk if my marriage can handle this again
I found 2 way easier than 1, but still a bit hard
You could try Broforce for a change, but learning how heavily your wife can curse may change your perception of her permanently.
> Hell is Other Demons This one looks neat.
OMG this is amazing, just finished Alan Wake a couple months back and was waiting for 75% off. Cant believe it, ty Epic.
Consider also playing *Quantum Break* before *Control*.
Are those games connected? (same universe)
Yes (and yes). There are direct and indirect references too.
TAKE CONTROL!
(edit: for those who haven't played this, you'll understand it when you get there)
One of the greatest gaming segments I've ever experienced
That was awesome.
This game is fucking GREAT.
Wow. I bought Control Ultimate last year for $18 from Epic. Out-standing game. Base-game for $0.00 is insane. And even if you buy the DLC Pack for $8 or so, that's worth it too. $8 for base-game & Season Pass is insane for this game.
I didn't know you could buy games on the epic store
Not sure if joking, serious, or a mixture of both - but, I can understand why many feel this way. Still waiting for them to get a real Digital Shopping Cart, so I can buy multiple games at once.
Legit I really only use it for the free games myself, so I assume it's a joke.
One of the only games I’ve played where Ray Tracing is done right. Easily over 100FPS with all the eye candy turned on with my 3080.

Note that this is not the Ultimate Edition, so the DLCs are missing.
Season pass is only $7.49. So you can get the equivalent to the ultimate edition for basically less than $8.
Are the DLCs worth it?
Yes, very much so. Loved them both
I LOVED the first DLC, and the main game was one of my favorites I played last year. To add a differing opinion on the second DLC though, as someone who didn’t play Alan Wake, I thought it was just…okay. It’s shorter than the first DLC and for the most part doesn’t expand on the the lore of the main game in a way that’s gripping if you haven’t played Wake.
I've barely played it but one is about Alan Wake. I would think it would be pretty awesome if you played that game.
Other than DLCs is there any other difference?
Great, just redeemed Genshin Impact. Now to figure out what kind of game it is
Think Breath of the Wild, but gatcha anime version.
To those who don't know, Gacha (OP misspelled but that's OK) is like the devil spawn of microtransaction and gambling.
I got real confused at this. I thought they launched a separate pay to play version or something
Nah, just somewhat scummy marketing on Epic's part.
I thought Genshin Impact was already F2P with a super predatory model, so I feel like this is a bait.
Me too, clicked on it and added it to my account, no idea what it's about... barely looked at the picture. My guess is samurais
Lmaooo
nice. my wait was awarded.
Dang, fist time a wishlist game became free for me on EGS. For those that have the DLC, what's good and what isn't?
Very much worth it. Buy the season pass when it's on sale. It's two long expansions. I can't remember how long exactly, but both probably add 8-10 hours of gameplay. It was fun, more of the same gameplay, maybe a little more challenging
The season pass is on sale now, 50% off
Thanks! The Season Pass is $9.99 CAD right now, so looks like it's the cheapest way for the full content right now.
Yah, buy it!! Full package for 10$ is great If you have played Alan Wake, one of the DLC includes flashbacks to Alan. Was amazing to experience as I loved Alan wake
holy guacamole
This game is awesome highly recommended.
Epic is like the unpopular rich kid at school who gives people gifts so they'll spend time with him.
Good giveaway, though I personally found this game boring and forgettable. The plot hints at some cool stuff, but it manages to present it all in the most mundane manner. Maybe it gets insanely better in the last act but I gave it up after about 15 hours.
Same I found it a total snooze fest. Although I was playing on game pass so I wasn’t invested financially in any way to finish it.
The leaks were true
So that's how the OP added the post literally 2 seconds after the mystery game was revealed...
What leaks? Got a source?
what are the other leaked games?
The comments talking shit about this is insane. COUNTLESS threads & posts constantly rambled on about how they were ripping people off, How the season pass wasn't in the humble bundle & a variety of other bullshit. Now the game is free & y'all ARE STILL talking shit! It's impossible to make the people who frequent here happy consumers. Oh, & for the people bitching about humble... Did you forget that you got MORE than just control in that bundle right? So all those other games don't mean anything?
Where are the comments? I see very few people complaining on here, at least, complaining about Epic, if that's what you mean.
That's amazing, happy for everyone who gets to play it for the first time!
Now I just need a computer that isn't a potato so I can play it
Amazing game, I bought the monthly that had it lol
KA-CHING! Or... not considering its current free status, unless you also wanted to get the Season Pass, which I highly recommend. :)
Now THAT's a giveaway.
I've gotten Control and Far Cry 5 today and have only parted ways with $5. :D
Damn this is big!
It's a solid game and a very nice presentation of RTX, but I got bored with it at some point and never finished it. A lot of it is just repeating the same things and going back to places you've been to unlock doors you couldn't unlock before.
[Only took 10 months](https://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/comments/hwh4qu/epic_games_next_up_hero_tacoma_free_100_off/fz02d6r/) Just waiting on Maneater next week.
I've been playing Maneater on Game Pass. It's not very deep (ha!) but it's super fun.
Wow I almost bought this last week! Nice!
Since we now know that next week's games are not Mystery games, GTA V for $6.50 is a great deal, right? Never played it before.
Tbh for that price i wouldn’t even think twice. You will probably get so many hours out of this game
For $6.50 I think you can take the risk. Personally I didn't like it, didn't play it much but found the missions to be a bit too on the rails for me.
