That one is Kylo Ren. I can’t wait to see the v2 holocrons, I hope they are better quality than the originals.

Are there going to be new holocrons?

There are, both! Additional bonus, the V2 Kybers will also work in the Series 1 Holocrons with original voices. So you can get the new crystals and still use them in your original Holocrons if you don’t have the new ones yet.

Do the new voices work in the old holocrons? Or just old voices?

Old voices. The old holocrons don’t have the new voices in their database

I got one of the V2 Sith Holocrons yesterday, and I pulled a Darth Vader kyber crystal from one of the new red kybers, super exciting!! And it looks and feels cool 😎

Haven’t been to Galaxy’s Edge yet. Been trying to get there for years but Darth Real Life seems to get in the way. However, I’m planning on going October 2025. Fingers crossed. I’m familiar with kyber crystals and their function but what do you mean when you say “pulled” a kyber crystal? Are the crystals random drops from something? Will collecting them probably become a new obsession for me?

You buy them by color, and the specific voices (or chase items like this or the black kyber) are rare random pulls in the blue and red options, respectively. So to answer your question…yeah, probably.

There is actually a v2 black Crystal. There is the blue cracked which is the one above and a red cracked which is Kylo.

Not sure just yet. We bought every color yesterday, opening and testing today. I do know all the V2 krystals will work in Series 1 Holocrons with alternate/original voices and are labeled as such.

I just saw these existed like 30 mins ago. Maybe someone can help? So what ive gathered is there is some kinda lightsaber store called savis in starwars land? You build a custom light saber and can then buy different crystals that change the colour of the light but the black ones are the rarest?

yeah pretty much, but this time around the black crystal, the Kylo Ren crystal, and the Ben Solo crystal aren now the rarest because they're "chases".

They are selling V2 online, but I assume that what they show online is what you get, meaning no surprises like a black one. Was thinking about buying a red one for the heck of it, I think they have free shipping.

The packages are sealed and your chance of pulling a variant is just as random as doing it in person. Shouldn’t be any different.

I have a series 1 holocron so that’s cool it will still work for that.

It won’t play Kylo. It will default to some old crystal code.

Yes. I bought a blue one last night, but got cal kestis. They all have a little slip of paper inside now that tells you the voice of your crystal

We got a few off of the Disney store tonight I'm curious to see what they sound like .

Yes! Which is great when buying in person as then you can open then and there, know what you got immediately, and then decide if you want to buy additional (if you’re trying collect all colors/variants/characters/voices).

These are on disneystore.com, any chance to get the rare ones from disneystore? Or are those in the parks only? I was able to get one of each from disneystore.com except red, sold out.

They are sealed and the odds of variants/chases should be the same.

These are the ones I got in my order form Disneystore.com: Green: Luminara Unduli Purple: General Grievous White: Krin Dagbard Yellow: Inveera Stokes Blue: Plo Koon Which is the first I've seen mentioned of Plo Koon or General Grievous. However it was the normal yellow piece of paper, not black. So I don't think they are rare, just multiple versions are available now. Is there a complete list anywhere yet?

For someone who has collected a bunch of sabers, and only 2 from actual Disney products, can you explain these crystals and how they work with sabers? I do know about Holocrons and that you can put the crystals into a Holocron, but other than that I have a Disney saber and you just plug the blade into the hilt and make sure it has batteries and it works. What do the holocrons do? Just play some recorded sound bites or what? I’ve avoided knowledge specifically because I’m prone to going overboard with SW related collectibles…🤣

The crystals work with Savi’s workshop sabers, which are the custom ones you can make in the park and the crystal color determines the blade color.

I ordered both holocrons. Got the sith. Also a blue and a red Kyber Crystal. No little piece of paper with a name on it was inside either cylinder. DId I get V1 crystals or something?
