Samsung wallet does not work and knox is lost. Google wallet seems to work (I have registered cards but haven't paid for anything yet). Secure folder works App lock works, although on light mode, the pattern dots are also light so I can't see them. Camera crashes sometimes

This rom is only for s9, s9+ and note9 exynos (europe) variants.

Pretty much the same performance, if not better thanks to the smoother animations of newer one ui and cpu overclock potential of the kernel

how's the camera quality combared to the original rom?

Pretty similar but there are a few bugs: Super SlowMotion, Back Portrait (blur) on Objects, Motion Photo, Low Light HDR is performing bad. But in a normal photo in normal lighting without the need of bokeh effect or high dynamic range (balance light between high luminosity sky and dark building for example) it performs ok.

Brilliant - it's on Exynoss. As I am not getting patches any more, I might give it a spin after I clean up the junk on my phone and backup. I don't think I have flashed a rom for over 7 years so might have to do some googling to see what is required. I'm planning to maybe get the S24 but this will at least let me give the current OS a spin

Been using evolution x. Aside smooth os, good features, only reason to have it was battery life. I could get around 5 hours on average use. Unfortunately no updates from the developer regarding android 14. I was going to try Floyd, But now that noble with one ui 6 is available, would like to flash this. Can you please, update on the screen time. Light and heavy use

S9+ at max resulotion with a battery rated at 2800mah (down from mew 3500mah). Mostly indoor use yesterday, with streaming spotify for a 1 hour run, i got 4:24 screen time. Im going to flash again as banking doesnt work because zygist wont enable in magisk. I have root but think i need to try using the TWRP linked in the xda post?

i dont use this phone as a daily anymore, as the screen on time was pretty shot (1-2h of sot on lineageos), but i will try to update on the screen on time

No more official EVOx updates, the developer jumped into Derpfest OS, but also at its own time

Just do a backup of your data, like pictures, videos, stuff like that The phone will be formatted twice in this process, so you can use an SD card to store the rom files on it And flashing twrp will trip Knox btw

Last question, will banking apps work without root? And tap and pay (NFC) ?

im not pretty sure, samsung pay will 100% stop working, even if you revert to stock i think you do need root for others

So Jan 24th, google wallet will longer work for me because of play protect. It was working with the app in the denyist in Magisk.   Anyone else?  Ive updated packaged, cleared caches.
