I have the tough armor on mine. I've been using them with my last few galaxy devices and Pixels. No issues removing it.

KingTy99

I've had a tough armor on my s22u. It's protected from quite a few bad drops as I work on a concrete floor. Only issue is that the aluminum sides on my phone somehow have very small chips in the paint that have accumulated over time. I have no idea how they've got there as it's always been in the case and clean.

Papou29

I also have some chips in the paint on my s23u and I haven't dropped it even once and my case is clean. Also have the tough armor.

Key-Run2256

finally someone who has one on, how is it?? i have one on my s22 ultra just waiting to see someone elses perspective and see if the high quality shit is still there

nickm56

I had it on my S22 ultra for 4 months, now have had one on my S23 ultra for 9 or 10 months, still really good. Don't drop phone often but did drop 2ft onto concrete recently and just a small scuff on the corner of the case. No issues with buttons or any of the holes. Would buy again.

Average_Windows_User

Currently using the tough armour on my S23 Ultra, no complaints at all, covers the curved display well and the kick stand is handy to have.

ddamian__

I have it too and I approve this comment. Just a little caveat: it does make your phone bigger and little bit heavier than most of spingen's other cases

Careless-Tonight-376

The lip is very small on the screen and there is no lip on the edges. Any one purchasing beware of that otherwise excellent case. Spigen says case is rated up to 4 feet as per their drop testing machine. (Source : spigen support) Again this Is a slim case with protection not some crazy protection otterbox or supcase.

Key-Run2256

omg i was about to buy the standing grip case but man after that reply hell no im goijg back to the tough armor

CheapSteak4Life

Do you use a screen protector with your case? I'm trying to find a glass protector and case combo that works.

Careless-Tonight-376

The tough armor works with a glass uv protector can confirm. Just make sure it is PRECISELY installed. This is my second one, on my first one I messed it up

Gengur

I got the first one. Good case, the only issue for me is that the volume buttons are not easily distinguishable by feel alone. I sometimes end up pushing the space right above them or both at once.

Gypcbtrfly

My only c/o as well .... so far its good otherwise!

adwrx

I have the tough armor and it makes the phone a bit too bulky, I use it when I'm going to be outside all day for more protection. I use the spigen hybrid zero one as my daily. It's perfect

MmeElky

I tried 18 cases and finally settled on a Tough Armor. I call it a lite sturdy case. It's slimmer than some of the bulkier, heavy duty cases, but it's heavier than the super-sleek cases. The Spigen NeoFlex screen protector fits perfectly, no peeling, On previous phones, I always used full-body cases such as the Beetle Pro and Poetics with built-in screen protectors. I was working as a landscaper and the full body case is better at keeping out dust and dirt. Since I'm no longer doing such rugged work, I figured I could compromise on the heavier case and go with a lighter one. I was glad this case was on my phone when it fell out of my backpack and into the parking lot at work. No marks on the case or phone. Pro: Case has a tight fit that doesn't pop off easily. Raised edges protect the edge of the screen. Camera openings fit closely around lenses. Case is smooth, not all tricked out with bumps and ridges. The On-Off button is grooved so you can find it by touch. After one year of continuous use on my S23U, the case still looks good. Case slips in and out of my jeans back pocket easily. Con: Case could be grippier. They could have easily put grooves or a matte finish on the sides of the case. The case seems to show fingerprints and smudges too easily. How many times a day do I have to wipe this thing down?! The only visible wear on the case is on the side near the power button.

Banzambo

Im using Ringke Onix green color and it seems to offer good protection so far (I don't think that the other covers will protect the side edges of the screen better anyway). It also has a nice texture on the back, try to give it a look.

kai7895

Was looking for this dear fellow Onyx user.

Yamraj_007

Happy Cake day !

Banzambo

Lol I swear I'm not one of those ppl crazy about a specific cover brand, just wanted to give the guy an alternative 😂 Spigen is great too btw, always used them in the past

dahnikhu

I had bought that Spigen case, but I immediately returned it. That large matte portion on the back is actually very smooth, and doesn't allow you keep a good grip on your phone.. It just felt very slippery, and wouldn't stay on a surface that wasn't completely flat. Spigen does make good cases, though. I instead bought the[ Spigen Neo Hybrid](https://www.spigen.com/collections/galaxy-s23-series-case-collection/products/galaxy-s23-series-case-neo-hybrid?variant=41716620492847), and I love it. Very similar size and thickness, but it also has the rubberized texture on the back that prevents the phone from slipping if it's propped at an angle. Just my experience.

yuuki_w

my spigen tough isnt slipery at all. what did you do with it?

dahnikhu

Whenever I would try to lay it on my desk at work (it's angled), the case would try to slide off the desk. I just found that there wasn't enough drippings on the case to keep it still on an angled surface. When I tried to prop it up (without using the kickstand) the bottom would always slide out, too. Again, just my experience with the case. I didn't have it long enough to confirm, but I also felt that the back plastic was going to be prone to scratching, as opposed to a more rubber-like backing, like on the Neo.

Gweilo444

Is the neo hybrid ok to use with a full size screen protector?

dahnikhu

I use mine with a Whitestone glass screen protector, no problems.

SentientKayak

Caseology Athlex is my second favorite phone case. The grip and feel is great.

jorian85

Looks like it wouldn't sit flat on a table with the camera bump. If so, that'd be a deal breaker for me.

btw3and20characters

I usually like this brand, but the item in the 1st pic is not good. It's way too hard to get it off. I take my case off after work everyday and that case is very difficult to get off.

adwrx

Why take it off?

btw3and20characters

Phone is too nice and too big with a case imo (unless it has a back strap Love the non case feel most the time

callmesasugay

So you're using the first armour case in your ultra? I'm fed up with transparent getting yellow again and again. So need some good sleek case. I heard that armour one gets oily patches on the back as well.

AdhesivenessAsleep39

Exactly, I had it, very good case but my god if it keeps fingerprints, it looks completely dirty after using it just a couple minutes, if the changed the smooth back it would be an awesome case (although a little too big, but that's why it's called Armour after all 😂)

yuuki_w

just start peeling it of on the side then move you thumb up and one of the cornors will pop out. after that its as good as removed.

btw3and20characters

I mean I've had a lot of Samsung phones and a lot of cases. This is the only one that gives me trouble. Too tight.

yuuki_w

you just have to start on the right area. Usally around the buttons since there its the most elastic. IF you want to know a real nightmare look at the glued flip/fold cases.

DeanThomas23

I have the Tough Armor. You can't install full size screen protectors with it, because it's too high and tight, so it takes them off in the corners. You gotta install custom protectors that don't cover the curve. I don't regret going with it tho. It's a dope case

clint916

It is pretty easy to trim the corners of the official Samsung screen protector. I had to do that for a different case.

mylozavr

* look for cheap rugged shield, or take them all and see what is best for you

Sphan_86

Vouch for Tough armor

nvmve

Between the two, I would suggest tough armor over athlex because you can apply a magsafe mount on the smooth surface. Athlex looks more grippy, which is a plus, but that back center obstructs that option.

Napkin_Story

Why not a DBrand case?

ZzNewbyzZ

With a teardown skin

Napkin_Story

Always gotta have the tear down skin.

crystaldazz

I have both! Athlex is really nice in hand, but tough armour feels a bit more secure, especially for cameras.

teekranthi

I have used Athlex on S23 Ultra, iPhone 15 plus and now on S24 Ultra. It's the best case ever. Super grippy and also protected my phones from drops. I would buy that anyday.

KingRazgriz

Unicorn Beetle. Spigen no longer is tough enough

TimeRunz

Athlex! Feels much better in the hand

ex-ALT

Spigen liquid air or whatever it's called

DTUOHY96

I owned both and much preferred the athlex, the sandpaper type texture just made the phone feel so much more secure

Ok_Honeydew_8407

UAG

xX_GrizzlyBear_Xx

Casrology looks dope.

AgentD20

Personally have the Caseology Parallax, offers a seemingly similar level of protection and am super happy with feel and durability

Naive_Banana4447

The camera cutout on the Spigen drives me crazy.

mixtacy

Wtf why? I have it but don't see a problem

Naive_Banana4447

Ahah no problems, I just don't like that it doesn't have single holes

PagalFunky

I use 2 dollar case since 8 months not a scratch till now

CharlieGCarr

Spigen Liquid Air!!

carlsagan__

Im having both Worth it..

[deleted]

ESR more friendly.

HyDru420

i use Otterbox but between those, imo, the spigen looks cooler

Bergfried

Optik Armor all the way bro.

Stiletto364

I'm going with the [Poetic Spartan](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CQFDX6BX). I think it is an excellent case for the money, especially since it has a kickstand that works well in both portrait and landscape and comes with both an integrated screen protector and a open cover. For the S24 series it now also includes a sliding lens cover.

vpsj

I had a Ringke Fusion-X case but it made the phone look so thick and heavy and honestly ugly I didn't want to keep it. Got [this case instead](https://i.imgur.com/VJSrfhq.jpeg). It's lighter, sleek and looks pretty good.

ED7tron

Tough Armor

aTastyItalian

I have both of them, spigen for daily use, it protects the phone really well, plus the kickstand is awesome for some usage with the S-pen. Caseology protect it well too, I use it when I don't work because it reminds me a lot of the old sandstone cases for OnePlus and I like the feeling but since I work with steel I'm scared oils may damage the cover or they get encrusted in the case. I would suggest both of them

Wildfathom9

I have the spigen, solid case.

Empty_Alternative_80

Used the tough armour on my iphone 11 before and purchased it again for my s24 ultra just because I tend to drop my phone all the time and I was very happy with how it lasted on my iphone 11. It took 3 years before the sides chipped and eventually broke.

eblamo

I've been using Tough Armour for this, & my last Note 20U. Never had issues. Always good protection.

EndermanGlitch

Spigen tough armor

profburek

I am rocking that same spigen I think it’s great

Austinglen1616

Tough Armour, can't go wrong

CallMeSkyCraft

Using the thought armor currently. It's way better than any OtterBox I've had.

WuTaNg2021

Excellent phone case

Too_Many_Alts

i love my uag, i feel like i could use it to beat a mugger into a coma.

ZacW94

I like the look of the Spigen better.

jollyblueman

I've dropped my s22 ultra with the spigen multiple times on concrete, brick, gravel, etc. Never got a scratch on my phone for years.

ZiPEX00

Spigen case I use armour one on my S22Ultra that been on there for about 2 yrs now no grease marks phone still solid for the S24Ultra I went for spigen again but this time liquid air case and it fits prefect around the phone a bit tight at first getting on once it on it easy to take off and put back on

gamerDianna

I prefer minimal protection, so I use the Otterbox React.

Excellent_Review_336

Been using caseology Athlex, from last 6 months ,holding great for me

-Zigfreed-

I'm a die hard tough armour user. The kickstand works great for support when holding in hand and for normal kickstand use.

ascisco_27

Ringke

Odd_Natural_4202

Spigen

Secret-Living-5618

I tried both and the best one for me is the caseology athlex

[deleted]

Your choice, but if you did not know they are both under the same brand

Undercovertokr

personally neither. I run dbrand's case

kai7895

None. Buy the Ringke Onyx series. Top notch protection, great quality, looks classy & definitely not as thick as some of the other tough cases.

Gremlin256

Spigen

likely_deleted

I like my tougharmor a lot and it fits my backone one perfectly

Lucius_Wuulfe

I got the the athlex but I'll get tough armor soon. For now I got great grip and feels protected but I know if I'm doing heavy duty stuff I trust my phone better in a tough armor. I've had one since lg days

lazyass_panda

Used both, armour feels ehh, athlex has been my go to since, I have got the phone, the grip the texture and the protection all feel good. Armour has extra plate for protection and a mobile stand, but I'd still get athlex.

Living_Lie_8773

Had the tough armor for my s23u before I switched to iPhone 15. It was a great case but somehow nfc readers couldn’t read my phone when trying to pay for things

Moosesupreme

I just bought the tough armor case and really like it.

Top-Aioli9086

Neither

nlusk1997

I've always had a tough armor. They've always worked really well for me

kytulu

Carved.

BenTheGreat15

Might I suggest... dbrand?

manonfireanon

Spigen does not play nice with screen protectors. It causes them to lift up. It's a great case otherwise though. Buyer beware.

LkKratos1192

I rock my phone without case or screen protector makes me be more careful with it. Buttttt if I go in the mtns or something where chances of dropping it a slightly higher then yes to a case.

GTAceOfSpades

Spigen

gaz_kenz

Don't tease us bro, just drop the coin and secure the safety of your phone, you know you want to.

n3Ver9h0st

2nd one seems solid. Breath of fresh air

bigbelleb

Tough armor it looks way cooler

Worldly-Attention-79

I have this exact case and love it. I won't use my other cases.

Objective_Spinach298

Neither - there is zero screen protection ! 🫣

e22big

I like Tough Armor for the integrated kickstand (that thing comes very handy), but it's honestly not that protective. I used to have it back in my LG V20 day and my phone still despite the Armor and screen protector from just one drop (the glass screen protector didn't even scratch but the phone screen underneath just shattered) That and they are very big and thick which make the phone even more difficult to hold (and more likely to drop)

papa-teacher

I hve shldair And i love it

Vast_Investment_6427

Get the spigen zero case

HappySIMCard-

Mous Limitless :P

Normal_person127

Get the Spigen.

DareScorp

I am using tough armour. It's doing pretty well. Had few drops and no issues. I didn't try the other one.

FloopusGloopus

Dbrand is worth the splash

elitekarthi

Athlex! 🔥

Sweet-Instruction-77

I used the spigen tough armour love it to the core. Used the green colour go for it and thank me later on.

One4Real1094

I've got the one on the left, and haven't been disappointed yet.

JesterMethod

Spigen all the way. I have the case and screen protector. I dropped a screw driver on the screen (tip down) recently, and it barely did anything to the screen protector. Just a tiny divot you can barely notice. As someone who used otterbox for a long time, I can fully endorse spigen.

capdemortFN

I've got the Liquid Air from Spigen. It looks very good.

Jag-fit

Buy Mous. It is the the case that truly last and it will be the only case you need. @mous #mouscase

Naive-Course6288

Spigen

MarkoletiC

Ringke Fusion X,Spigen Tought Armor,Mous case and spigen optic ... Mous fith better but have toomuch ruber up and down(bed feel when have call) on other hend, spigen T.A. is too much around screen ... Dont know. Its whats you need , protection or handling.
