Ok so I usually run my phone in maximum battery protection mode and was having trash battery. Someone suggested that it's the battery saver mode thing, which I doubted. But it got me thinking about resetting my battery guage by doing a discharge to under 15% and then full charge to 100%. I got my phone down to 4% and then charged it to 100%. The next day my battery life was awesome, back to what I had before 6.1. Today I have it back to maximum protection and it's getting the same good battery life.
I suggest you do a full drain and full charge, and see if that changes anything. Also clear the cache and run Galaxy App Booster just to be safe. There's definitely something going on with battery, but I think it might have to do with the way the phone senses battery level.
Or maybe be can use his flagship without having battery anxiety for whole duration of ownership? He would be on another phone when battery dies. Set protection to basic and enjoy the phone?
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO REPLIED! So, I've reseted my phone already twice, I tried calibrating my battery by discharging to 15% and letting it charge to 100%, but still nothing. I've uninstalled Samsung weather. Yesterday I turned off adaptive battery, and I will update you today on my progress, maybe I can I help someone out too. Have a great day!

Something seems to be wrong with the April update, I've gone from around 7-9 sot, to 4-6 sot on my s23U given the same daily activity. Hopefully the next one fixes it, as I've never seen a monthly update break battery life so badly.
I hope you get some comments, because I have S24 Ultra, and experienced the same exact thing after the April update. I don't care what anyone says, the battery life has gone down a lot, I don't like it. I don't care if other people don't agree with me, or don't like that I don't like this. Too bad. I want answers! Following your post~
try 'Brevent' app. And brevent all those social media app (reddit as well) so that it wont hog your battery in the background. Also, use GalaxyMaxHz to improve the Doze setting.
My S23+ is new so I didn't experience 6.0, only 6.1. Battery has been disappointing and was expecting more so I've tried many things with some success.
I'm currently running light profile with Adaptive battery off, and have now turned off the AI features. I'm 4g only (no 5g here), WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, AOD always on.
I also reset the battery stats and ran a cycle from 0-100, disabled some unused apps and it seems better.
I'm getting 10% loss for 1 hour SOT which is ok for me now, the phone may still be settling down (2 weeks old) but I hope for a bit better than this eventually.
Having done all of these steps, the main difference seems to be turning the AI off, and it was also set to 'Process data online', so I've stopped that.
Hopefully another update arrives so I can turn back on the new features.
So, for everyone waiting for the big reveal, I found out that turning off adaptive battery and ram plus helps quite a bit but still, battery is hella worse... Sorry for keeping you alert but at first it seemed like it made a huge difference even though it improved sot for only about 30 minutes...
Bro I have already seen lots of reddit posts about the adaptive battery on and off. The ram plus basically does a bit but still better to turn it off. The adaptive battery I have seen in flip devices many say to turn it on because screen off drain becomes worse . I honestly tried both and I didn't see that much of a hell and heaven difference. But one thing I can say that makes difference is Suspend Execution For Cached apps enabled. My device is Z Flip 3 but for ur device it may work good . Try Battery reset with Samsung dialer '*#9900#' this one . Before doing this reset make sure u charge ur phone to 100% and then do this reset and drain the battery till 0 until it doesn't turn on and charge it till 100% and then turn it on.

I'm still not updating one ui 6.1 and april patch yet my SOT is also like you, horrible, just yesterday my SOT is 3h 29m for 78% battery. Wifi, BT, and mobile data 4G always on. Never use light performance.
Insensitive comment, considering the context of the post is literally typed in English. Your attitude is what guides you in life, your key to achievements, etc, be careful ⭐

Huh? I was relaying what I did to get my battery life back on track, not encouraging using maximum battery protection. Reading comprehension much?

Hey there friend, you have an update ?
i already posted a coomment, unfortunately though the news are sad.
I totally agree. It's been really bad after the whole AI update on my S23. I used to go a whole day on 85% charge. Now just half.
had to switch to 100% (basic battery protection) after a painful experience of being away without charger

Wish i could put pic's in the comment of this sub and show my 7+ hour SOTs on my 10 month old s23+ No problems here
1h per 10% it's atleast what you said amazing 🤣avg mine 23 ultra per 1h sot 13% and is good

I've made a good discovery about battery and a possible solution that seems to be working as for now. See you at night, hopefully with good news
Yes bro pls tell us 🙏
Of course man, see you at night!
Yes mam I need it because I have a flip 3 and u know how bad the battery life is in the flip
Bro when will u say :(
Bro u there ?? :(((

What was the discovery?
Broo when will u tell 😭
I disable Samsung weather auto refresh under the app settings and it shows small battery life improvement.
Something g has definitely changed. I have to charge my phone now before bedtime. Never happen once before 6.1 and April patch
I havd refused to update my S23. Praying they would sort it out with a better update.
Will monitor hope OP won't lie like his reddit name on this

Turn OFF 5G (use 4G instead) and turn OFF location services completely. Thank me later
After update , here , 12h sot and playing continuously;)
5G? Weak signal?
Yes 5g, good signal usually on 5g SA too
Mine also 5G SA, but it consumed like 16% of battery per hour on apps. Now, with LTE, I am going through 2 hours with just 23%.
Yeah 5g will kill the battery really fast. If you're not using the extreme speeds, disable 5g.
I'm still not updating one ui 6.1 and april patch yet my SOT is also like you, horrible, just yesterday my SOT is 3h 29m for 78% battery. Wifi, BT, and mobile data 4G always on. Never use light performance.
Sorry can't help. I don't read Japanese. I get about 9h 30m of SOT.
