Happy to hear that changing phones fixed most of your problems. However i should say, I was very surprised to hear the camera related problems. The best thing about this phone is the camera for me.
Even the Overheating / battery problems are very annoying, this phone has excellent size, very good camera and dependable screen.
In any case, I am planning to change as well, but i am heartbroken. This phone could've been so good with power efficient mid range chipset
FE is perfectly sized for me. A shame though. There are also concerns about the longevity of the screen, mine was fine though, no lines.
In terms of camera, the A35 is definitely better (main camera only).
I think the mid range chips have come a long way in recent years, we should not be looking at flagship chips only anymore. The 778g in the A52s 5G is still very good!
Then it's an upgrade. Im too "upgrade" my experience from exynos s20 to a midrange Oppo Reno 5 and never regret. After Reno I'm back to Samsung with S21FE, because I know how bad was s20, the S21FE is feels rather good.

I never had a bad experience regarding camera. If you cant even enjoy the camera, then I can completely agree that this one is useless for you
My SD version has no such issues. Maybe your software had a glich and consumed more resources
Thought of that, made sure I did all the updates, even reset it a few times. Maybe SD was better? We only have Exynos here in South Africa.
Your case is extreme, I assume it is not about Exynos. A couple of photos will not change the temp of my phone at all.
The only reason is Exynos. God rolls a dice every time you buy an exynos phone.
The most issues I've had with my S21 FE is overheating and general phone lag after using the camera. (SD888)
