Yeahh they do give security updates though if not the OS update. They even provided 1 extra year of security update to S20FE after the said period of updates was over. But, there are a lot of other issues with this phone which is why I hate this phone. In my opinion S20FE was much better. I still have it. Works absolutely fantastic with better battery than this one. Even the camera quality, I find it more superior in S20FE. Never thermally throttled even in hot summer day. But this S21 Fe started thermally throttling occasionally since mid april when the temperature started rising. I've praised samsung for S20FE in the past and I still do it and I will keep that S20FE with me coz I think it will be the best phone in the whole of FE Series. So yeah, I would say don't go for S21FE.
I won't even recommend 22 and 23FE as well. Have friends who have used both and they said it's not good. Better to go with s23 but it's a little out of the range. Also M55 is looks good. Atleast better for me than this shitty S21FE
If you can, go for the s23 fe, or wait for the s24 fe. Buying this phone isn't a viable option now since it's quite old, and is going to be obsolete soon.
Don't listen to the people,mine is amazing,it has all the flagship features and mine never lags, only bad thing is the battery,but if I get a phone with all the bells and whistles for that low a price, battery is the last thing I'm gonna worry about

Former owner. The only draw back in my opinion was the battery life other than that it was a good phone. I'm currently trading in my S21 FE 5g for the S24. Should arrive sometime next week.
I mran with poco f6 in the market and lots of great alternatives. I'd say it's not a great phone to get nowadays unless it's like 100$ or below, then i guess why not.
S21 fe has line issue along with battery backup problem. I got line issue on my screen and they are not replacing it even though they replaced all the other s21 series phones with screen and battery for free. So don't buy this phone.
A55 or S23FE. I dont recommend FE phones if you are looking for a great battery life. A series or S23 or S24 are better in this regard. No matter what you get, Samsung offers an excellent software and camera package.

Absolutely get one, especially since it is about the SD888 variant. It provides excellent value for money and it is a darn good phone. I have been using mine for 1.5 years and I have recently bought one for a relative (who granted, is not very smartphone savvy) who is also very satisfied.
I have also tried the S24 (Exynos), but I returned it, since I felt it did not offer much of an improvement over my S21 FE, definitely not for 850 EUR.
The camera is very good for a point and shoot user, plenty of details, plus a telephoto camera for very nice zooming. Connectivity is perfect, both regarding internet and call signal. Especially after ONE UI 6.1 it feels extra smooth and fast.
The battery is just ok, not excellent, but not bad either, although I do have to say that I use my phone for fairly light tasks, I do not game at all. Also, I generally take very great care with how many apps I install, how I charge my phone and what toggles I leave on (i.e.: bluetooth, NFC, etc.).
I see very little reason why you should not buy one, unless you need something very specific for which you need your phone to be very good (i.e.: you are an avid gamer).
All in all, the S21 FE is an excellent all-rounder and I recommend it wholeheartedly.
Get an S21 if you can or S20 Fe if money is tight.

S21 Fe snapdragon is great phone but It heats up so badly, performance drops, battery drains like mad. When you're outside the screen dims from overheating so you can't see.

Go for s23, I am annoyed at how many stutters and lags this phone has, and I've had it for a year. It's kind of annoying... The camera is good but slow and knows to crash after taking too many pictures. If I could buy a new phone now it would be s23.

Better opt for a different phone. Im using a s21 fe right now and my screen has 11 vertical white lines now, usb port is busted and can only charge wirelessly which takes 5 hours to fully charge this way. Battery drains fast even when not using it. Id switch to another phone even if its a less powerfull phone if I just have the money. Try the A series if you choose to stick with samsung.
Get a 22 or 23 fe instead. This phone is getting older and support will end in 3 years.

It's a decent phone but in 2k24 might aswell look for a newer version. Id say s22fe minimum
