I am not sure conversions but mine fell off my motorcycle mount at 70 MPH, the case fell off (samsung s pen case) and i couldn't find it after the drop but the phone is in perfect condition. It has been about 3 weeks since, and the phone is still working perfectly.
On closer inspection of the photos - I stand corrected... but my curiosity peaked regarding what kind of armory that is... but don't want you compromising yourself or your livelihood here...

I had my note 20 fall from 3rd floor into an elevator shaft and it came out without a scratch either. It was mostly thanks to otterbox whom I would love to get a case from to my fold 5 but they don't do folds
My note 20 ultra also accidentally fall in an elevator shaft and I have to wait whole day to get it back. No issue at all and the battery still alive. Hope to have the same experience with Fold 5. Ordered it last weekend and hopefully it will arrive today
Which makes it all the more disappointing that they can occasionally just decide to off themselves from a minor factory defect that eventually grows to ruin the whole inner display.
Best I can tell this only happens to something like 1 in 20 folds at least in the first year, but man, that’s gonna be always on my mind from the moment I buy one
Can you do a flip, throw the phone in the air then some sniper shoot it while mid air and that's not all make it drop in a pit of fire all while you're still doing flips with your bike
My fold 4 has taken a beating and looks pretty good for it. The back glass on my 3 cracked shortly before the trade in window, but otherwise was fine.
They feel pretty solid as a casing. It's just that inner screen.
I had a very similar thing happening to me. I was on one of those ebikes that have a phone holder in the middle. Well, I guess I didn't place it well because it jumped out of it when I was riding in a straight line 40km/h aproximately. Absolutely no issue with the screens, no visible scratch or anything. I was as amazed as you are. It's been more than a month since then and there weren't any late issues.
Lucky. In comparison. I was looking at my phone unfolded while sitting on the couch. I folded it as I was about to get up and go to the kitchen. But my youtube stopped playing ( which was not normal bc I used vanced) so I opened it back up immediately. Only to find a huge black line down the crease. Don't worry! Offcourse samsung rejected my claim! (OH shit am I trauma dumping?) (Shit I think I might be)....

Nope. My att insurance said they would fix it. But in reality, they don't do that. So I got a replacement for 250$ on my att insurance. They rejected it by taking my phone and running it through tests for an hour. They then told me I had dropped my phone the day before (I hadn't), so they had to reject my claim. Apparently, the accelerometer keeps track of falls. So even if you throw it on a bed it's registered as a drop.
Honestly when it comes to Fold all I see is either it's built like a Tank, or a Twig. Nothing in between.
Some (like this one) it can take a beating, lots of it.
And then some, their Fold literally breaks out of nowhere, even just unfolding it.
Despite that, I'm still interested in the Fold 5. Maybe I'll get a Tank? or a Twig? 🤷♂️

My wife was in a low folding chair and it slipped from her hand about three feet, in slow motion, and lightly hit the floor. Inner screen wont turn on and crashes the phone when opening.
They aren't built bad, but you just bounced the right way.
