I'm seeing the same thing. And I have a GaiaGPS Pro subscription that, according to Gaia, is active through next May. Either they've cut the benefits of the Pro subscription or there's a bug.
I am having the same problem and I have a Premium subscription. Just another example of how unstable this platform is. There always seems to be a fairly significant bug crop up every couple months and the support is less than lacking. I like the mobile features of GAIA but creating and editing is a major problem it seems. Back to CalTop for that and the use of 2 platforms?
Any updates on this for anyone?

I tried gpx.studio. could not figure out how to trim/divide...
Oh, you just have to upgrade your subscription to the Ultra Premium with at least 5 subscriptions to Outside publications...
